I purchased a Tata DoCoMo postpaid connection early in the month of October 2009, on 4th Oct I realized my outgoing service I barred immediately I called up customer care and got a reply stating its due to negative address verification, I informed the executive that no one from verification department has turned up to my residence for verification, he said I have to continue with barred outgoing service till 7th October as re verification is scheduled on 7th.
On 6th October, even my incoming service is barred, when I called up customer care to clarify the reason of suspension, they informed that my address verification is still negative.
Now here is the best of my issue which was supposed to be identified by DoCoMo not by me.
Every time we call Tata DoCoMo customer as an existing customer we have to provide our residential address to the executive for security purpose.
When I called up customer care I was also asked for my billing address and I provided my residence address and we continued our conversation on the issue I am facing.
On 6th while conversation I asked the executive, to which address they have send their representative for address verification? And he provided my old address where I was residing 4 years back.
My next question was, I have provided you my billing address for verification then why your representative had been to my old address?
And guess what the reply was???????
“May I have your billing address?”
I also asked for escalation contact...but this time the reply was……………..
Is there anything else I can assist you with?

I would like to know why these bills are coming to me where the service is already deactivated by you as you couldn't fix the speed problem from day 1 of this connection and also didn't return the deposit. How is it that you can do such an activity of charging the customer after promising that the bill will not be generated if the issue is not fixed in 10 days. If you have doubts then check the data packages downloaded or used under this account. If you donot stop this bill generation then I will have to take legal action against you. Please refer the Service requests which are logged in your system.


If you confirm the network problem is fixed in my area and you have all your boosters installed then as a good service provider stick with your words and cancel all the bills generated for no reason and let me know the device is active. I will have no issues to pay you the bill if the service provided is as per the specifications.


Let me know if you need the earlier communications and I can forward the same. I have also tried reaching the customer service and the customer service manager but of no help.

TOTALLY AGREE.
TataDocomo GSM Customer Care sucks big time.
Pathetic service.
MY outgoing is barred inspite of paying the bills on time and Submitting the previous operator bill directly at The DOCOMO OUtlet.
THe height of service at DOCOMO Outlet is a complete mockery.
Inspit of my request to the DOCOMO Rep to acknowledge the receipt of previous operator receipt, he said it is not required as my connection then was not barred. He would act if its getting blocked in case. WHat a joke.
Customer care says "They cannot help".
I Have requested them atleast to suspend the connection, I wonder if they understand English.

    Dear Sir,

    My outgoing calls is not going due to call baring service.I have gone to Galary of Tata Indicom of
    Dombivali(W) office. But they fail to solve it. I have also submitted the Driving Licence Xerox but still
    it is not solved.My Mobile No. is [protected]. I have also given the complaint to the customer care
    service . They give the complaint id which is NWK09189194. They also tell me to solve this problem
    but also they failed.

    So i request you to please solved this immediately.

    Tata Docomo GSM Sim — network problem

      Hello,
      I bought a new docomo sim and the trust me its just waste of money. There is no outgoing calls or incoming calls or even SMS. It has been a horrible or should i say hopelessly horrible experience, they just put us on hold and don't return back. And they tell us that their sim is valid only for certain handsets.. what a disastrous invention. I just want to know if there is a solution for this?

In this respect, yesterday I lodged a complaint with the your agent who was assured me that the cell will be activated by late night or early morning today. Kindly note that I had submitted all documents i.e. Driving Licence, Electrici bill and My photo etc. So, please do the needful to activiate the connection immediately and oblige.

      Further, please let me know GPRS system can be activited in this connection. If yes, what would be minimum tariff for the same ?. Please also let me know GPRS system can be activited in my hand set N-95.

        customer care is saying that pin2 &puk2 is prvided by mobile phone companies how foolish it is.

          I've brought a connection from TATA Docomo pune bearing mobile number [protected] in the 1st week of september, my mobile was activated and was suspended subsequently on 13th sept due to negative verification. The verifier spoke to my relative at home and made a decision, I was ok with it since mistakes to happen, after re verification my mobile was activated again on 14th of september and on 1st of october my mobile was disconnected again without intimation ( No calls from service provider or SMSs) I was annoyed and spoke to customer care who said its due to negative verification. What i fail to understand why the same reason after 25 days? Is there any procedure followed? the customer care executives are helpless, they dont have a manager to speak to, the sales executive ( Sachin Khirsagar) doesnot pick up the phone. I've discontinued my previous number and informed all my friends, familiy members and professionals regarding change of number and now I dont have another number. TATA DOCOMO has ruined my life. I was supposed to receive a JOB offer for a reputed firm on 1st of october, the package was decided at 8 Lakhs p.a. my mobile is disconneted and there is no incoming aswell. I've helpless and got nowhere to go. I want a compensation for the distress. My BP shotup and i am shouting above my throat and asking them to activate my mobile, they seem to be enjoying my complaints and not working on it.

            Dear Sir,

            I came to know that docomo is not compatible only for Nokia 1100,3310,3315.

            So, I bought docomo sim for my mobile Motorola c200 but it is not working. can you tell me if there are any setting details, like band, etc.
            please help… now since it is not working.. can i get the refund after returning the sim as only three nokia mobiles were mentioned.

            Tata Docomo sims are compatible with Motorolla handsets. Pls check if the sim is working in other handsets. If not, then it could be a problem with the sim in which case you can get it replaced free of cost!

              I have changed to Tata Docomo and have been using Post paid connection ever since 28-AUG-2009 with GSM Platinum 799 Plan. The Network is very very bad and I have been tolerating this network as I am also a part of the Tata Group. Now the limit is up.

              I was not able to make or receive any calls from my mobile from past night. So I came to my office and gave a call from my desk to the number that is posted on the site www.tatadocomo.com for customer service Karnataka as [protected].

              The Agent who received my call took my details and told me that my account cannot me opened as I haven't submitted proper documents(ARE U KIDDING ME!!! I GAVE THEM ALL THE PROOF'S INCLUDING A LETTER FROM MY HR). Now as I brought up the heat in the conversation, he confessed that due to technical issues at his end he couldn't open my account and hence asked me to re-submit my documents to any retailer. Now I insisted he told me that I was into Pre-paid services and I have to make a call to post paid customer services from my mobile(How foolish the reason I have called is I cannot make/receive any call on my number.

              I asked him to transfer to his supervisor and he did it after compete 25 mins putting me on HOLD. Then came his Team Lead with the magic word "I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE CAUSED, BUT STILL I CAN'T HELP YOU AT ALL". I asked for a reference number for the call that made me to wait for 1 complete hour and the answer is "NO". As I am calling from my office desk instead of my mobile they can't even give me a reference and all this 1 hour of conversation was just a waste, suggesting me to call to 121 from my mobile(GOD HOW DOES THESE PEOPLE LIVE, THE REASON FOR ME TO CALL CUSTOMER CARE IS THAT I AM UNABLE TO MAKE CALL FROM MY MOBILE).

              I am tried of this network and if I can want to sue this company for the worst services and network. How in the hell without even good network did these people come into the Market??? How did government all this company???

              Tata Docomo — Worst Customer Service, Worst Network

              I had recently had a TATA DOCOMO postpaid connection. I had submitted all the correct documents to them , after few days one guys came for address verification to my house i had singed the addr verification documents given by him, i don't what happen after that i am unable to make any calls (even though it has the worst network, ever time when i make a call it says not a vaild one ) i call up the customer guys they told u address is wrong ... if my address is wrong how can verification guy came to my house... ok any way i had requested to re verification of address they given the resolution time like 3 times days to resolve it .... but even after that also their was no progress.. i had call up the customer care guys couple of times they will always the same story that will be done and we will activity the connection..........this customer guys make all false promises ... they are incapable of keeping they words into action.......... i ask them to disconnect my connection ............ and refiund my amount that paid while taking the connection but they are not taking the request for disconnecting my connection.

              i asked them to give the Bangalore head office phone number , they had given two numbers one number will ring but no one will lift the phone and one number always swichoff or busy....

              NEVER GO FOR TATADOCOMO and they are doing cheap tricks for marketing in public, they changed the plan now and i talked to customer care that they never had those unlimited gprs plans and no TATADOCOMO person revealed those plans any where for press. TATA si doing unethical practices in india from long time, it is better to avoid TATA in our life. TRAI is a useless body in india seems getting lot of bribes. TRAI put a rule that any plans introduced by telecom companies should be atleast for 6 months after launch. Whats is going on now? TRAI is sleeping? What the lawyers and Bigs doing in india, any one has guts to file the case on TATADOCOMO, come on indians, open your eyes and file and fire TATAs from INdia

                Hy,

                I am Sunil got TATA Docomo Post paid connection(Ph: [protected] ) last 2months back and i am getting network problem, when i am phoning to airtel numbers in evening times (7:00to9:30) its showing me Network Busy, at same time when i am phoing from some other network to that same number its going through, that same i explained to customer care department of docom on 4th sep'09 but till date i did not get solution from them, and still i am getting same problem.

                all most all 20 times i phoned customer care guys and spoken to 20 employes and all are saying same story that it will rectify my problem very soon even their supervisor also said same story , no body giving particular date and time to rectify my problem. every body saying at every time just 3 words (i.e: i am sorry , i am forwarding issue, problem will solve soon)

                even i got 3 SMS from them by saying that my problem already solved and more ever saying that i was not able to catch ( I did not swith off my mobile at any time) all that 3 SMS saying that same.

                Even they are saying that its Airte problem thats not docomo problem.

                Colud you please help me to file a case on TATA DOCOM Hyderabad.

                  I have went to Tata Docomo Dealer with PAN Card Xerox copy, Bank Pass Book Xerox and with one Photo. He told me that this Bank Pass Book Xerox will not be taken as the Address proof because the bank pass book does not contain attested photo. The bank has not provided any space for this purpose. The Bank is 'Bank of Baroda'. He told me that this is mentioned in the guidelines but he does not shown me that guidelines. This dealer's shop is at Andheri Kurla Road, Andheri - (E), Mumbai. I am giving him the PAN card xerox in which the photo and my name is contained. And in Bank pass book xerox same name and address contained. So take some correct measures for this purpose.

                  After submission of all documents for DOCOMO new no. at kandivli W store near station, the ridiculous thing they hav done is that now after a week they have stopped mah card stating that verification call they did was not answered. Now again they supposed to give verification call...n its 2 days i havnt received. Now mah card is not wrkin. Most irritating thing is this when u hav card but its of no use. Kindly llok into the matter asap.

                    I recently took Tata-DOCOMO connection, bearing the no:[protected]. From the day-1 onwards, I am facing severe n/w connectivity problems. I am unable to make calls and receiving calls. I logged a complaint on 20th Sep 2009 and was informed that this would resolve by 23-Sep-2009, but the problem still persists. Because of this, I have lost many important appointments and could not receive important calls and the impact of this is very huge.
                    I am requesting you to resolve the issue at the earliest also, please compensate for the issue that I have been facing since Day-1 of the connection.

                    buddy if they listen to u, thank your heavens. forget about compensation. I'll tell u wat, even i purchased this connection but havent opened it yet. My friend in tata( i did my mba from xlri where he was my colg)has told me that they do not have the spectrum to cater to the unprecedented demand they are facing. Also govt of India is not coming up with any extra spectrum slots in the near future. So u know the root o[censored]r prob. I wud also lyk 2 mention that there's no personal I hold for the tatas or the comp for that matter. Its just wise to stay informed

                          I purchase 1 samsung 1070 mobile on 9.9.09.(imei no [protected]),

                          along with tata docomo free sim i got with mobile, retailer told me to recharge of 51.but its not recharging,after that he told its take some time,then i called the retailer next day he told that its not his fault and u have to call customer care,then i called the docomo care ,they told your sim is not activated,so go to retailer and told to send the photocopy and adress proof.again i went to retailer he told already he submit althose things,again i called the docomo care ,they told yes we recieved,and u have to recharge of 333,again i try with 333 and its not getting recharge,again i called customer care several times every person giving me wrong information,till now i m facing the problem there is no incoming / ougoing.

                            i got a new postpaid connection from tata docomo last week. and i found the new connection is been barred.
                            two days before i have received a sms saying your address is incorrect. but the address was right and i personally received the person who had come for verification at my home.even i have paid Rs 500 for the new connection saying that Rs250 is for sim card and activation charges and the other as a security deposit.                                 i lost my tata docomo perpaid connection and got replaced by a dupicate SIM. after getting this SIM till date it is not activated. when i am calling customer care they are informing me to ask your retailer. when i am asking the retail named sandeep (chennai) he is sometimes disconnecting and sometimes telling 'today it will activate' like while a week has gone and till date this is not activated. if i buying an airtel or vodaphone connection this may happen with 2 days. so i request to docomo owner that dont give jobs to these type of fellow who are not sincere in your work

                                Thanks for bringing this issue to all o[censored]s. The management should take strict action against such careless employees : SANDEEP. Such employees should be immediately fired without reasons asked.

                                DOCOMO also should train its employees proper Customer Care. Such things may be rare but really spoils the image of a BRAND. Had this happened in US, you could have sued DOCOMO, for may be no fault of the company.

                                  I had paid for TATA Photon connection on September 13, 2009 and was promised activation within 24 hours. I had given a sum of Rs 3600 to Mr Sarwar Choudhary who had given me a cash receipt on behalf of TriNet Solutions Pvt Ltd. I was given the following nos:
                                  1) Emid no :A000001A213FAE
                                  2) CAF no: [protected]
                                  3) GCC no: [protected]

                                  I was assured that I will receive a call from an exective. However, 5 days have lapsed since then but my account hasn't been activated. I have been wasting my entire day in contacting the concerned people. My grievances are as follows:

                                  1) I did get a number of Mr Naeem in the activation department who was unable to solve my queries. I spoke with him on 17/09 and he assured me that the activation process will be completed by the evening of 18/09 and was also informed that due to fault of theirs my activation form has reached the Warehouse. I contacted him again on 18/09 and he said HE IS NOT IN A MOOD TO TALK. I asked him to transfer the phone to his manager or the head of the department but he refused to do so by saying there is no HOD and disconected my call. I really do not know how can a department run without a HOD.
                                  2) I then contacted the Customer Service which again was an example of how poorly run the organisation is. Instead o[censored]nderstanding my problems the Executive kept on asking me some random questions and then put me on hold for 5 min and gavce me a customer compalint number[protected] and said they would need another 3 days to look into the matter.

                                  I demand a refund on the following grounds:
                                  a) I have waited for 120 hours as against the 24 hrs promised to me and I am expected to wait for another 72 hrs.
                                  b) The poor example of Customer Service that they have shown.
                                  c) It will impossible to deal with an organisation where Management is incompetent or non-existent and junior level employees are impolite.

                                  i purchased a tata connection on 13/10/2009 from A/78 lajpat nagar and said that it will be activated on within 24/hrs and i called on 15/10/2009 to Mr.Neeraj thakran and he said he will call me inform the activation status in few minuates and disconnected my cal. and since then i called his mobile number and their office number for atleast 50 times no boby is attending the call. ind as well as i stay faraway from to the lajapat nagar. so kindly dont cheat cheat the coustomers i[censored] are not able to helpthe coustomers kindly close u r shops
                                  I have paid for the service on 16th Feb 2010 and I was promised someone would come by my place between 2-6pm. I took leave from work to make sure things were properly done. The technician calls at 7 pm, saying he is coming. I waited till 8 pm and then went out. The technician comes at 10:15 pm and wants to install. Is this the time to come to someone's house? And what attitude of the person, "I cannot tell when I can come again. So it will take 5 minutes." The elders of my house didn't allow some stranger to walk into the house after 10:00 pm

                                  Tata Indicom takes our money and bullies elders to enter the house? God knows what kind of service I will get but this is how they behave for installation

                                    It is my pleasure to introduce myself; I am Krishnakumar.R, working as
                                    Group A Officer in Govt.of India / Kerala. I secured a Tata Docomo connection on August 09 ( Mob: [protected] ) from M/s.Vinayaka mobile shop / near Sree Mahaganapathi Temple / Kottarakara / Kollam Dist-Pin 691506. At the time of getting sim card itself, I have submitted a copy of my official ID card along with a photo to the retailer.
                                    After two days my out going calls were barred due to insufficiency of the ID card produced as informed by the retailer. He was informed by the collection agent to ask me to produce a copy of driving licence. On contacting the customer care, they informed me that what I submitted was sufficient and when this was communicated to the collection agent by the retailer, the former refused to change his stand.
                                    When this was brought to the notice of the customer care they told me to contact Fortune, the Tata Docomo centre at Pulamon, Kottapuram, Kottarakara. As per this I submitted another copy of my ID proof along with a photo at Fortune, Kottarakara on 05/09/09 and they faxed it at once. So far, much correspondence I have made with Tata Docomo customer care, yet it was not activated till this date. Now the incoming and out going call was also barred.
                                    Sir, I have wasted my precious time for this simple matter but nothing had been fulfilled. So, I request you to take adequate steps to take action against the collection agent and also to get my service activated.

                                    I am sankar ganesh from tirupur. I had taken a TATA Docomo GSM sim few days before my no is [protected]and i had submitted my driving licence as a address & ID proof and for local address .then i had submitted for second time, pan card xerox and driving licence. My complaint is why this is happening with the same service. i had call for many time in customer care. but no response.

                                    I have submitted all my required documents to the dealer who gave me the number.
                                    Collecting the documents from the dealer is their responsibility. Why should i face consequences for not submitting the docs by them.

                                    12525 and 12527 does not connect from my mobile number.
                                    I am using Tata Indicom from the date it had launched in Mumbai. I was away for few months and Tata Indicom has completely disconnectd my line eventhough I had paid all the bills.

                                    Last Saturday, I took Tata DOCOMO connection in Thane Maharashtra by submitting address proof. It was activated within 30 minutes. Now I am in Karnataka, and here I found that the roaming is not activated and am not getting any signals. I might have made around 10 calls to Customer Care from another DOCOMO number. I have not received any solutions so far.

                                    I really miss the services of Tata Indicom, which had excellent coverage, average customer service. The DOCOMO has the worst coverage and worst customer service I have encountered so far.

                                    I am Gopala rao from KOLKATA. I had taken a TATA Docomo GSM sim few days before and i had submitted my passport as a address & ID proof and for local address .after two weeks my outgoing has been barred, I called to call center,they said documents was not submitted. Then I went to TATA Docomo office(Park street, kolkata) resubmitted documents again, they said within 48 hours outgoing will be activated. After 3 days also my outgoing was not activated.

                                      Hi,

                                      This is karvin . On Friday , the 11th of September 2009, I purchased two Tata Docomo SIM cards with the ( MSIDN : 903543XXXX and 903543XXXX ) to avail the services of this newly launched product. I paid Rs. 300 and with all the necessary documents to one of the retailers/local shop named “ APPU’s MOBILE SHOP , 24th Main , Agara , 1st Sector at HSR layout Bangalore 560102 “ and he told me u will get talk value :Rs 51 each simcard with this price , after 12 hr , my both the SIM cards are activated ( Saturday @5PM ) with the talk Value or Rs:5, then I called the customer care regarding the talk value , and your customer care suggested me to check with the retailer (APPU’s MOBILE SHOP ) .On enquiring with the local shop, he has reasoned out that the processing has already happened and the account has not been charged due to some problems on the Tata Docomo site. I have called the customer care for same and have been referred back to the retailer on Sunday for same, but the result no different. He has been mis-behaving and man handling me. Neither did he charge my account nor did he return my money. He has been telling me to go back to the Tata guys . but would not return my money as it has been processed from his end. The customer care center has not been taking my complaint and has been procrastinating it deliberately for reason not known to me.

                                      I do not understand why on the earth did you people allow such retailers to sell your product when they are defaming it. Again, the customer care service that you provide sucks! , I am not sure whether the problem is at your end or the retailer’s end but be sure that this kind of service would not only malign your brand name but also would impact your sales as the word of mouth could spread like fire. Thank you, but NO THANK YOU for letting me go through this. I really regret buying your product and would never refer any of my acquaintances to buy this. Hope, you will take some action against the aforementioned retailer and would improve your customer care service if you want to survive in this industry.

                                      The product is extremely good, so please do not spoil its name ( TATA ) by your slackened attitude. Please look carefully before you actually give somebody an authority sell your product.

                                      My Sim Card Is Rejected For 25 Day Before There Is No Action Taken Form Your, I Tolled U More Than 5 Time To Customer Care There Is Action Take Care, But I Used Only 15 In Between 3days Once Different Different Type Of Error Is Happen, now your asking payment for every, daily I attaining minimum 3 call, till now my problem is not solved but asking amount only . how can I pay the amount can u pls tell me
                                      my sim card is rejected then how should i do it should be again come in progress.

                                        I have taken a new connection of Tata Docomo in Bangalore. But its not working in my Nokia-2300 handset.I can receive incoming call and message, but when i try to call it shows no network coverage. Its working fine in other phones.

                                        Please help as other service providers connection is working fine in my handset.

                                        tatadocomo card does not support nokia 2100 as it is 64k card
                                        service from tata docomo is absolutely worthless. the signal strength is absolutely hopeless and i complained several times to their CC center. but unfortunately, except few false promise, i have not received nothing. and more over in my December billing, i have found few fake nos have been added to my bill, which i am pretty sure, i have never called.

                                        in brief, i took this postpaid connection with lots of hopes, but i am very disappointed and needless to say, if this continue, tata will loose its ground to its competitors. lastly i decided to cancel this connection and instructed today to follow the same.
                                        Even I have the same problem here in Pune with the nokia 6610 fone and now even my fone is not working 4 ne other sim so tried the same docomo sim in the nokia 1200 and same thing happened again this fone has also stopped working. One of my friends has lost 3 fones due to this problem which include the Nokia N72. First I thought there must have been some problem in my handset but afterknowing about my friend i m pretty sure theres some problem in the DOCOMO sim cards

                                        my sim was working properly till this monday i faced da same problem.my nokia 1650 set is not working neither any nokia sets.after the sim is inserted in da phone, within some hours phone is hanging
                                        Yup.. this is the worst thing to tata.. tata is known for trust. but itz really sad that dey wil loose the ground for this gsm service.the network always fluctuvates. at max i can talk is 22 secs.den network goes down. if i try to talk to customer care b4 i explain d problem it gets disconnected.

                                        Same problem here. Docomo sim has been working fine for two years now until a couple of weeks ago. It stops working after a couple of minutes of switching on my Nokia 7210 Supernova mobile. It has also damaged my Sony Ericcson W350i when I tried the sim in that. The W350i has stopped working now. People have been facing this problem since 2009 and now it's 2011. No solution yet?
