Hi,

I am using Tata Docomo prepaid sim, they say that call charges whether its STD or local, it is charged at 1 paise per second, however this is absolutely false. When i do one local call, mobile to mobile. If i am speaking for 20 seconds also, balance will vary every time and it will not cut exactly at 20 paise, it will be more than 5 or 6 paise. Its absolute cheat for the customer. If this is happening customers will end up paying more when compared to other network. I called several times to customer care and they are not ready to take any complaints, instead they told that's the way Sir, we can't help and you are not the only customer who is facing issues in these manner.

Hope this will be take care, else in the long run none will even think of buying or going for Tata Docomo connection.

    Dear Sir,

    I have a complaint against Tata DOCOMO, it has been a week since I am following up with the TATA DOCOMO outlet on Bajirao road in Pune, they yet don't have an application form for the Postpaid service of DOCOMO. I am simply fed up. I need the connection urgently but people just don't seem to be bothered of having the Application forms. TATA DOCOMO will lose customers due to this negligent attitude of the sales team.

      Urgent reminder of my past complaint

      Dear Sir,
      This is an urgent reminder to my un resolved problem. Problems are resolved mutually and with dicisive facts. You can not find your own employee and blame on the customer.

      I made the complaint very specifically that I was going out of station for more than 15 days, for which I had informed your fund manager, handling my case. He did it all in my absence and without approval and my cell did not receive any SMS.

      If your persons palys wrongly with my funds without my prior permission, there is no way you can help. I am surprised on your stereotyped uncalled for answers, without getting in to the details of the matter.

      Your employed person who did fthis raud is missing and your office could not trace him and you are closing my complaint, I am surprised on your attitude.
      I am not satisfied with your way of handling the problem and missdealing with money of the clients.

      SPEED ISSUE

      i am using TATA PHOTON PLUS ([protected]) UNLIMITED plan from fast 1.5 years...
      there will be SPEED issues..they promised me that they provide 153.6kbps ie 20kbps DOWNLOAD SPEED..but what i am getting is less then 2kbps..y they cheated coustomers on unlimited plans?
      they simply giving promises and they cannot solve the issue...simply register complaints and we have to listen same responce every time like delete temp files, change network type...can u please improve your network rather then simply nvesting on coustomer care service...

        24th jan evening me main tata docomo ka sim liya aur 48 ka gprs plan liya day 100mb and night 2gb.pr 25 jan ko tata docomo k taraf se 5rs pr day 10mb till midnight ka palan activat ho gay main 20time costomer care ko fon kar bola ki maine es plan k liye koi msg nahi kiya pr mera koi nahi suna abi mera 1paisa/kb k hisab se balance cut ho raha hai sir bolta hai k bahut jald aap ka problam solve ho jayega pr hota kuch nahi hai.abi achanak 31jan 12.20am night me 30rs cut ho gaya c care ko fon kiya to bataya yahan pe koi information nahi hai ab aap bataye main kiya karun esliye aap k pas complain kiya hun please aap kuch kijiye main dimagi tor pe bahut disturb hun.

          Hello

          My name is Jitender & I'm from haryana. I recently bought a tata docomo gsm sim and subscribed for a gprs plan through a special recharge of Rs.48/-. Its been about 2 weeks & I'm experiencing some serious problems from this gprs from the day 1. In the day time from 7am to 11pm, it works fine. In fact the speed of surfing & downloading is a lot better than airtel or any other. But when the night time starts i.e. from 11pm to 7am, there are so many problems. When I try to connect to internet from my phone or notebook, I get connected in a few seconds but after some time it disconnects automatically. Sometimes when I start browsing & sometimes without even it. I connect it a hundred times and it disconnects after few seconds daily. Some times it worked for a few minutes and disconnected. Also, it has nothing to do with settings or any other technical fault as I have confirmed everything a number of times. The problem is with their network. In the night time free data is more i.e. 2gb compared to day free data of 100mb. That's why in the night traffic increases & users are experiencing this sort of problems. I didn't expected this from a reputed service provider like docomo. Airtel might be expensive, its speed might be a bit less but once you conect to the internet you will not be disconnected until you do it yourself. If this problem persists, I will again have to switch to airtel Because nobody have so much time to connect 100 times. An improvement is must for Tata Docomo network.

          GPRS — losse connection loss money

          dear sir, gprs connection is disconnects aftert 2 min then i am wastage my money to pay airtel for gprs nothing to use for me plz do something to get beter service wishing you to good response

          Airtel GPRS & Network — Over charging GPRS usage and no proper network. Calls gets disconnected

          I have registered many complaints for network issue at my residence address (billing address). I am raising this complaint right from day 1 but no resolution till date. Nearly 5 times i have registered this complaint and your system shows no records. Every time i got response that you are doing some tower upgrades which i have not noticed any change in the network.

          2nd complaint i registered is unjustified gprs (Rs 570). I have not accessed internet for more than 5 times. I am being charged after every 6 mins which is not acceptable. More surprisingly I really don t understand when there is no network coverage at my residence then how can gprs download files (I am being charged 0.30 ps every 6 minutes till late night.
          Please give me details of kbs downloaded through my account. Your billing department has closed my complaint themsefves stating that correct charges are billed to me. I want to understand on what basis or back up documents your billing department is claiming this.

          I need resolution for both the complaints as your 121 executives are fooling customers by disconnecting the calls or giving complaints nos which shows unregistered after few days.
          If these complaints are not resolved then i would prefer shifting to some different service provider.

          Airtel network is poor and also they don't resolve customer complaints. How can Airtel provide 'ATTUT Network' to their new customers, when their own old customers are suffering for network issues.

          BSNL — Cannot access internet between 7am to 7pm

          Hello I am using TATA docomo sim card for the last 20days and my hand set is Samsung star touch(GT-s5233A). GPRS aacount is not activated on my number even after sending message DIVE to 52270 several times. When Approach customer care they said My hand set is not compatible wit TATA Docomo. The option which I have now is simply to go for another network. I dont want to change my Network provider as well my new samsung mobile. How can they tell that brand new hand set is not compatible with their network.

          I m from AP.


          I have changed my mobile network from Airtel to Tata Docomo. Apart from tariff plan there is noting in Docomo. We can not call to any numbers in the evening. It is as almost dead network in the evening times. Even i[censored] try 10 times u can not make a call from Docomo. I really did not expert this form this network.

          If we talk about the GPRS/EDGE ...It is the Worst i had ever seen. This network does not even support GPRS setting for any Windows mobile's and we can not found this network in manual settings or Manual search of the network.

          The suggestion for Docomo is that...first he need to improve Quality ...and he is playing with customers.

          My sincear advice is to not to change to DOCOMO. THis so ordinary network and it does not even have the basics correct.

          TATA DOCOMO has launched new GPRS PLAN (Rs.15 for 3 days&Rs.95 for 30 days) all over india.But it is not available in mumbai circle.whenever i contact customer care of mumbai,his replies are I am sorry we are not informed yet about this offer.If it is not launched in mumbai TATA docomo should clearly mention that it is not launched in mumbai.but he is not doing that.but advertising his product.It is only fake advertisement.Very poor management.

          AIRTEL CELLULAR LTD,MOBILE GPRS SERVICE — NOT GETTING OF PROPER SERVICES

          I am using GPRS(M/O) service of AIRTEL in Haryana & paying 500 rupee monthly for this service.but its always creat a problem whenever i try to use this service for any benificial.I submitted 100 of complaints to AIRTEL COUSTMER CARE.They always assure me to solve out this problem with in next 72 hours or 48 hours & we would revert u back with in next 2 days.
          But as i found till i didnt get a single type response or revert back by the AIRTEL.and my problem is still going same & countinously i am submitting complaints to AIRTEL.but they only gives me a FALSE assurance to solve the probem soon.
          AIRTEL is a big brand & having a diffrent identity bcoj of its good services so i never thaught to submit any complaint againest AIRTEL to consumer court.but as i have seen all my submitted complaints has vain & useless,so i need to go to consumer court againest AIRTEL & a claim of amount which i lost in my buisness because of lack of proper GPRS service & hrassment fundaments.

          I have just bought Samsung Star s5233s and also a Docomo sim. My Cell Phone selection was great but network selection is worst. I contacted the customer care for several times but still i am not able to use the dive in servoce of the Docomo. I could not able to open a single webpage from my phone. But with Airtel i have checked and also send email from my cell phone. The call rates of the Docomo is less and it sounds very economical but its service is worst. It has improve further to compete with Airtel and Vodafone. Now i am thinking to switch of to Airtel or Vodafone.

          I have already activated my 1 year GPRS plain & always have a/c balance more then 20 Rs.

          I have register problem many times but it not get resolved yet.DOCOMO Customer care executive told me to delete existing setting & save new setting I have done 2-3 time but problem not get resolved.Some time it get connect once then again try to connect problem remains same
          Every time executive told me that your problem will resolve with 24-48 Hr but not resolved.Know I am thinking to change my number(some other service provider)

          Infact I was the diehard fan of TaTa DoCoMo before using their GPRS, but now I hate it like anything.

          The GPRS keeps disconnecting all the time.
          I get decent speed only early in the morning, i.e. 6 AM to 10 AM.


          You know what I dislike most ?
          When we raised this issue in their official orkut community, they have deleted our posts instead of replying to us.
          At first we thought its an accident, but they kept deleting our posts.

          Tata Docomo — Needs Improvement

          I have been witnessing the poor internet surfing speed of Tata Docomo. Since its launch, the speed was fine, until recently. The 3G speed has come down to about approximately 6kb/s and the plain GPRS is just ridiculous -it doesn't get us anywhere. Since we're paying every penny for it I request the service provider to give us the efficient speed to take full use of the data we've paid for. Thank you

          I am still waiting for a resolution on this issue! Have spoken 5-6 times with your customer service and twice with billing department people. Every time they say that the issue I am facing is genuine and Airtel should be doing to resolve this. But no one has bothered calling me so far. I am going to wait for another 6-7 days. In case I do not get any respite, then I am going to consumer court.

          If at all you want to save some effort and money for Airtel then get this issue resolved soon!

          Hi,

          It has been more than a month when I had raised concern regarding over billing on my mobile phone internet usage. I have not heard anything from airtel so far. I am now moving to Consumer Court to file a case agaisnt Airtel and will try to get compensation through them.

          I'll not pay any money to airtel till the time my issue is resolved and unwanted charges are reverted from the bill OR till court forces Airtel to reverse those charges.

          i'm using tata docomo service with mobile no. [protected] since last 2 years. i am experiencing following problems repeatably
          1 very poor network coverage
          2 false message to caller who calls me, like no. is busy or u call on wait but actually that time i;m free or not on another call
          3 most of times caller listen full ring but actually i don't get any call

          AirTel — Cell Phone getting switched on automatically while not in use

          Hi,

          This is regarding my airtel fixed line. My telephone is getting switched on automatically while not in use (i.e., while in idle state). Just two months before only airtel has given me a change of telephone, but it is not a new one. There has been a problem with this one too... When i called customer care, they are saying that it will be not changed as i am a old customer and it will be changed only if the landline has been brought within one year time. This plan has been introduced before 4 months. I am using airtel connection for 3 years now. If this is the case, then how come these guys can give me a change of instrument before two months and not now??? This is ridiculous. The fault is because o[censored] guys. You guys provided an used instrument instead of new one and the problem keep on existing with this. But this time it's just a waste of time by keep on calling customer care and there is no response from them... Just all ****** up with this instrument. Is there any solution to resolve this issue???

          The problem is it disconnects automatically after sometime.

          I think it's intentional at their part to disconnect edge. To save their network from users like me, who like to download. Every time I have to connect internet and start the download again (Frm Starting point).

          Is it justified to have policy like this... Nowadays these service providers are more like junk..

          i recharged with 123 /- rupees for the free calling 18 hrs pack from 11pm to 5 pm .this pack worked one day correctly but suddenly it is not working on my phone no. [protected]

            Hi,

            I have been using TATA Docomo prepaid a over a month now. Suddenly one night(26thJan, 2AM-7AM) the available balance of Rs. 311+ was deducted. This came to my notice during the day about 2pm when I tried a make a call, it said insufficient balance.

            On contacting the customer care they have provided me a docket number GBL09094502 and was told that they will respond by 28th JAN 8.00PM.

            There was no response until I called them on 29th JAN 11.00 AM. Their response to my call was " You have used internet for the balance".

            But my phone was idle all night from 25th Jan 11.00PM - 26th Jan 12PM.
            I don't know how I can respond to this kind of fraud by TATA Docomo.

            So, I request people planning to switch to TATA DOCOMO, think 100 times before you make a wise decision, and also people who are already subscribers of TATA DOCOMO be wise in checking the available balance/ monthly bill and maybe switching to other safe mobile service providers as portability may be option. Or, you may be a victim of being held responsible for huge amounts if you do not have so much o[censored]sage.

            Amount in hundreds doesn't matter much to the people but thousands would. I am pretty sure that TATA Docomo would have deducted Rs.3111(0r 31111) if was available that night. I wish to thank GOD from saving me from such big fraud.

            My Docomo # [protected] was a carrying a balance more that Rs.300 last night(25th Jan'10) and to my notice today 26th Jan when I tried to make a call during the day showed a balance of Rs. 0. On contacting the customer care I was told that I have used the balance all night by using the internet(Which I haven't used).

            My anger cannot be expressed. Why will I sit all night to use the docomo instead o[censored]sing my home internet for free (unlimited usage)? I haven't used my docomo on regular basis any time this late night.

            Such fraud by docomo leads me to rethink of switching to an another superior quality network.
            As such kind of activity is a complete time waste for me in this busy life.

            Hope a quick action is taken in this regard.

            Yesterday i have also experienced with the same problem as my entire balance of Rs.79/- has been deducted by these cheaters. Actually yesterday 17.02.10 i have not even touched my mobile set from 6 pm onwards. but i have received 3 SMS from No.52250 stating "thanks for downloading Java games and deducted Rd.79/ for the same.

            Hats up to Docomo.
            I have faced similar issue, amount of Rs 80 got deducted in 1 night for some GPRS usage that I cannot see on their portal and even after sending message "DATA" to 121. I had been following up this over a week now and have received worst customer service ever with no refunds yet.
            If you are not using GPRS at all send SMS as "CAN ALL" to 121 to deactivate GPRS from your SIM and try to save your balance if possible.

It is observed that in each and every recharge, the service provider deducts some specific amount from the available balance by unauthorisedly activiting different options. Last time when I recharged a voucher of Rs. 30/- the service provider deducted some amount and the balance is Rs. 5/-. Therefore, I request your esteemed organisation to direct the service provider not to deduct any amount without authorisation and to refund the whole deduction amount with above number at the earliest.

            I m using tata docomo number for last 5 to 6 month.. and i m suffering from their services... they activated any skim without giving any intimation. they have been taken charged for it... i contacted many times of tata docomo customer care.. but they did not reply me... and they did not co-operate with customers...

            But i reality i diden't recived any call.they even does not transfrre call ti there head.for this service they debited my account for 30rs.

            My name is praveenkumar one of the customer of tata docomo, iam facing a problem with customer care executives, they are not giving me correct information regarding different tarrif plans, when i was spoken with one of the customer care executive regarding caller tune activation, he given me details like this, this is the bada pack offer 50 rupees for 90 days validity, you can listen 5 songs simultaniously for 90 days & u will have this songs for 90 days.after activatiion when i spoken with caller tune dept. person he said me u will have the songs for 1 month if you activate 5 songs.i[censored] want to continue the songs for further months u will charge 15 rupees for a song.what is this matter in cheeting the customer. like me how many are suffuring...

            On 31 may Rs.70 was deducted from my account . and from that day I am trying to call in customer care but they are not giving any response, they usually say that during 2 or 3 hours you will get your balance but after 2 or 3 hours any balance is not refunding and i am calling back they put my call on unresponding list so that I can, t call to them.             i agree all the complaints made regarding cheating attitude of tata docomo. customers are really facing lots of problem for no wrong. i have been cheated thrice time by tata docomo by activating Alert service without my knowledge. whenever i recharge my phone with recharge coupon, a message show me that i have choose to activate alert service. even there is no option to cancel the message, except "OK" option, otherwise i cannot back to my screen mode. this is the ill planning of tata docomo to earn by cheating customer. I hate such harassment. Even i could not call emergency call after leaving my balance "0" by tata docomo at the right time of my recharge..And more harasment is that while contacting customer care staff, a computer voice tells that customer staff are busy, i really hate such policy. my mobile no [protected].

            I had done a recharge of Rs125/- on 6-7 jan 2012, and the same day tata docomo charged me Rs 10/- without any reason .
            And on 10-jan, I requested for a daily SMS pack of Rs 2/- and they charge me for Rs 10/- .
            Jan 11, in the morning at 11:30 am, I did a recharge of Rs 65/- for a monthly internet pack of 2.5 GB
            same night @ 10:30 pm they deducted Rs 93/- from unknown reason.

            Initially when I called the customer care, the person told me that, you have been charged because you surfed the internet without having the internet settings.
            Then he told me your internet settings were expired."What does that mean?".

            I called again because I was not satisfied with that answer, and this time he told me, i was charged for the internet browsing .
            Tata d have also activated 2 unknown services without my notice.

            Dear Sir,

            I am using my Tata Docomo prepaid number [protected] since Oct., 2010. I recharged my number with special RC 17 yesterday night as a result of which my special balance was Rs.44.20. Suddenly in the noon today (24.01.2012) when I checked my special balance to see whether my bonus balance of special RC 18 recharged (on 23.01.2012) has been credited in my account or not I found that my special balance has been deducted by Rs.10. For this when I contacted to Customer Care, the customer care executive replied me that the said Rs.10 has been deducted for breaking news services, for which neither I was informed nor I ever activated such kind of services.
            When I asked the customer care executive about reimbursement of my account balance he instead of giving any answer simply disconnected my phone. When I again tried to contact the customer care executive instead of taking my call he repeatedly disconnected my phone approximately 6 to 8 times.
            So, I request you to reimburse my account balance and make sure that this kind of fraud does not occur in future and I would also like to request you to improve your customer care services so that I may not be compelled to switch over to any other connection.

            This is my second complain on the same day. With great regret I have to inform you that again in the night i.e., on 24.01.2012 when I checked my account balance around 11 p.m. I found that my special balance has been deducted again by Rs.10. That means in a single day my account balance has been deducted two times (2 x Rs10). This is in spite of assurance by the customer care executive in the noon that now onward there will not be any deduction from your account for such types of services. I have recharged my number with Special RC 18 on 21.01.2012 for which special balance of Rs.18 has to be credited in my account by today itself but it is not credited by now.
            You can check my consumption pattern, except phone call I don't use any type of services from Tata Docomo. I also do not use mobile internet ever because I have 24 Hour internet connection in my house as well as in my office.
            I am using prepaid Tata Docomo numbers for more than three years. I have three connections in my name. Earlier I never faced such types of frauds from Tata Docomo. That's why my opinion about Tata Docomo & Vodafone was very good. But today my opinion towards Tata Docomo is different.
            I, therefore, request you to stop such type of fraudulent practices immediately and reimburse my account balance which has been deducted in the name of different kind of services which I never activated, otherwise I have to consider for the option of number portability.

            it's my advice to stop using such practices to increase profits..this
            will b really bad for company health and future.if someone there from tata docomo is listening and is concern about company future please pay attention because this is problem faced by all customers not only me...

            I am using TATA DOCOMO since 4 years. If I have problem Iusually contacted customer care & got satisfactory answer. On 03.05.2012, abruptlly Love GURU pack activated on my mobile. I have not made any request for it. For that Balance deducted is Rs. 3/- three times for DATA usage chg. & Rs. 30/- for pack. Then I have contacted Customer care they have refunded Rs. 30/- & deactivated Love guru pack. But not refunded Rs. 9/-. After sometime without touching to mobile Cricket pack get activated.
            At that time I again contacted Customer care & ask for it & about Rs.9/-. I have talked with Mr. Santosh Vaishnav. He told me I cant get Rs.9/- in any case & he has deactivated Cricket Pack. As I ended the call again Love Guru pack get suddenly activated. After that upto now all the lines of Customer care Executive are Busy.

            My opinion is that service of TATA DOCOMO is detoriating day by day & When we contact to Cust care EXE. they deactivate one service & again activate another. Me & my 10 friends are using DOCOMO service. All o[censored]s facing such problem. If you cant give comfortable service we all will shift to another service provider.

            If you want We do not shift please refund me Rs.9/- & stop activating foolish pack.

            Beware: Deducted available balance in one night stating internet usage
            Hi,

            I have been using TATA Docomo prepaid a over a month now. Suddenly one night[17 may 2012] the available balance of Rs. 29.45 was deducted. This came to my notice during the day about 2pm when I tried a make a call, it said insufficient balance.

            On contacting the customer care they have provided me a docket number GBL09094502 and was told that they will respond by 18-5-12

            There was no response until I called them on 18-5-12 AM. Their response to my call was " You have used internet for the balance".

            But my phone was idle all night from 25th Jan 11.00PM - 26th Jan 12PM.
            I don't know how I can respond to this kind of fraud by TATA Docomo.

            So, I request people planning to switch to TATA DOCOMO, think 100 times before you make a wise decision, and also people who are already subscribers of TATA DOCOMO be wise in checking the available balance/ monthly bill and maybe switching to other safe mobile service providers as portability may be option. Or, you may be a victim of being held responsible for huge amounts if you do not have so much o[censored]sage.

            Amount in hundreds doesn't matter much to the people but thousands would. I am pretty sure that TATA Docomo would have deducted Rs29.45 if was available that night. I wish to thank GOD from saving me from such big fraud.

On 05.11.12 I'd again recharged of Rs. 250/-, for that I got Rs. 250/- full talktime and 2048 MB GPRS pack valid upto 05.12.12. But on 07.11.12 Rs. 69/- was deducted from my credit balance stating that your data pack is renewed of 1.5 GB free usage for next 30 days validity.               I took TATA DOCOMO Postpaid connection in Aug 2009 and used for a month and I was not satisfied with the service(signal reception) and I raised a cancellation request by end of august. They didn't cancel my connection even after following up many times. I had discarded the SIM card and was not using it also. But they called me back in Jan 2010 and said that I have amount due on my TATA DOCOMO Connection and asked me to pay it. I told them that I will settle the amount until the date the raised the cancellation request and asked them to provide me the bills. They agreed to do this but they haven't reverted back. Few days back I got notice from Tata Docomo saying that I have amount due to company for many days and that is why they suspended it. I have never come across such a bad customer service. Even after agreeing to settle the amount though I could have rejected to pay a penny, they sent notice as if I was wrong. Actually I need not pay a single Rupee to them because I have my refundable advance with them and I used the connection only for one month which will balance with the advance I paid. I want to file a complaint against Tata Docomo for its false claims and recklessness.

                I've registered complaints twice on the call center regarding MMS.

                  sir i recharged 95 rupees special voucher for gprs monthly pack. Free usage of 200 mb Date of 18.01.2010 at 6.30 pm. Still now if i used gprs deducted ammount in my main account balance not in to my free mb. I complaint more times to customer care. They replied 19 th jan . They said i used tata docomo dive in this is the cause me deducting the ammount. But i didnt used tata docomo dive in. Just i use only TATA DOCOMO INTERNET but the ammount was deducted.                     From last December I am using TATA DOCOMO mobile service provider. On 8th of January they had introduced a "Hello Tune" in my mobile Nr. ([protected]) without my consent and slapped a charge of Rs. 45/- for that. It was so irretating, I stopped that very next day. But to my surprise, again yesterday (20th of Jan) they connected the same Helllo Tune to my mobile and again slapped Rs. 45/- to my account.
                    Being a legal consumer I feel being cheated twice. In between I contacted their Customer care service - but of no help. I request your kind assistance to solve this problem.
                    I have also faced same issue but I was aware of Hello tune getting activated on my mobile. I got a call from their customer care service saying my no has got selected in some lucky draw n I will get free call me tune and there will not be any deductions from my account. So I agreed & activated same. On same day I got charged for activating same. So I lodged a complaint and got my refund. But i odnt knw why the hell they do this and force customer to lodge a complaint.

                        Here I would like to make an appeal to Indian Customer for not to go for TATA Docomo as its service is too bad both in terms of its network and Customer Problem Solving.At its Customer Care, differen reasons are cited for a problem in yours service at different time.
                        Although there plan and tariffs are quite attractive and attracts customer towards its service, but once you become its customer then all these special and innovative tariffs will fizzle out in front of worst service they provide. Requst you to weight these positive and negative points and then only choose for TATA Docomo

                        Tata Indicom/Postpaid mobile Connection — Regarding false commitments and unnecessary harrased

                        Sir,

                        I had purchased a mobile no. [protected] from Tata Indicom on 4th Feb 08. I told them I want this connection only for usage of STD calls. I provided them all documents, which they had asked from me. Mr. Harpreet (Marketing Executive) gave me new SIM card, filled the application form and collected the documents from me. He also activated STD pack on my new connection. Mr. Abhishek (Company Representative) confirmed everything, what Mr. Harpreet told me. He also committed to me to redeem my security amount of 500/-Rs in calling value in next bills, either its local calls or STD calls and they issued me a SIM Card. But after issuing new SIM they told me that security will redeem only in local calling value, not in STD calls. They also told me that after verification (FI), my number will be activated. Next day around 5.30 pm. a person came to my house from TATA Company for verification. He met to my mother and also saw my residence proof. After 8.30 pm my mobile no. [protected] was activated. But after half an hour my number was again de-activated by company. I called to Mr. Harpreet and told him that why you again de-activated my number after half an hour from activation. He told me that he will do something. But he switched off his mobile. Next day I called Mr. Abhishek. He again committed me that my number will be activated by 11.00 am. After 11.30, I again called him, he gave me the number of Mr. Pardeep [protected]. When I talked to him, he gave me Mr. Subeer’s number [protected]. He also gave me only commitments. After making so many calls to every one, my number was activated at 9.00 pm.

                        After some days, I called to someone. The call was cross connected on some another number, which I hadn’t dialed. It was happened 2-3 times. After trying many times, when call connected, then it was dropped. I called to customer care executive. He told me that, there is no problem from our side. May be there is fault in your handset. Then I called to Mr. Subeer and told him everything. He told me that, he will solve my problem as early as possible. But both problems remain the same. After that many times I called on customer care regarding this problem, but every time they said there is fault in my handset. Due to problem of their network, I have to pay extra amount. My problems of call dropped and cross-connected call remains the same. Even later on they disconnected my services three times without any reason for more than 24 hours every time. When I called on customer care, 1st time they said it was due to technical reason. 2nd and 3rd time they said you have to pay your bill to continue your services.

                        Sir, you can check till date I just received only one bill. I also paid that in time, even 15 days before the due date.

                        From the above you will please notice that I am being harassed socially and mentally unnecessarily by Tata Indicom. They still are harassing me. Even I have to suffer economically for which I claim compensation of Rs.25000/-.

                        I would request your kind honour to look into matter immediately and see that justice is done to me.

                        Recently I've taken TATA DOCOMO postpaid connection ([protected]). The person who gave me the SIM is Vijay ([protected]) and he is working under Nikhil ([protected]). Both of them are employee of DOCOMO. First of all they took more than 15 days to activate the SIM. After activation, it worked for 12 days and deactivated. When I'm calling to customer care, they are asking me to deposit Rs. 500 without any reason. So, whenever I'm calling to those mentioned persons to solve the issue or take back the SIM, they are not responding (they are not picking up my call). I've complained to nodal office also against both of them, but no response from their end also. Please do something. I'm scared that they may send huge bill.

                        When ever I'm asking the address of DOCOMO store to the customer care, they are unable to provide full address and contact number.

                        I had ported out my two nos. [protected] and [protected] of Spice on TATA Docomo which were activated on 11.03.11. I had observed that there are ZERO signal of TATA as soon as I enter in to my house. I had contacted the person through whom the nos. had been ported on TATA. He had also inspected the area and faced the same problem and assured me to get the matter sorted out by 13.03.11. More over, the incoming facility at [protected] is not there since the day of its activation.
                        It is to further mention that I had also visited TATA office at Sector 35 on 26.03.11 to convey my problem to the customer care.                         Please help me out on the matter and forward the matter to TRAI for fixing the responsebility for the harrasment caused to the consumer.

                        I have buy the postpay connection of tatadocomo on 11th april from vasai west outlet from miss kiran(representative name)n I have said her to put a addon pack of 75(T2T) but it wasn't got activated and I was under impression that it is activated and made a call. I have a proof of recording done of conversation.
                        When I complained on customercare they give token no and its get closed automatically without informing me. I believe they are in hurry toi close the ticket.
                        Today I was really suprised with the reponse I received from customer care for ticket no.[protected], that we have not to take any complain from you for this.
                        We will not do anything and you have to pay.
                        Even I have mailed seral times on their email I'd listen.[protected]@tatadocomo.com but never got the revert for the same.
                        I am fade up with following with the docomo guys. I request some to help me and provide me the proper authority contact no to help.

                        I do not understand what the problem is in refunding the security deposit even after 5 months of disconnecting the service. To a series of my complaints in the last 4-5 months the following are the replies I have received from you, which you can see in the trail mail below:

                        1. As per your mail, we would like to inform you that, a complaint has been registered vide docket no.[protected] and is expected to be resolved by 01-JAN-2012 15:43:05.

                        2. We would like to inform that the refund amount (if any) will be given after 67 days of cancellation request raised.

                        3. Please be informed that we have registered your concern related to delay in refunds with docket number[protected]. The same will be resolved by 26-APR-2012 14:04 and you will be duly notified upon closure. Kindly make a note of this docket number for your future correspondence. (This is the latest reply)

                        In the reply 1 above, you had indicated that the issue would be resolved by 01-JAN-2012 15:43:05, indicating even the hour, minute and seconds. After that date 14 weeks have elapsed. Nothing has been done. When I complained again, your reply was "Please be informed that we have registered your concern related to delay in refunds with docket number[protected]. The same will be resolved by 26-APR-2012 14:04 and you will be duly notified upon closure".
                        I wonder how long you go on giving this type of false promises indicating the date and time to the point of seconds without really doing any thing.
                        Under the circumstances I am forced to think:
                        1) Whether your organization ( I mean people working there) has gone mad.
                        2) Whether it is handy work of some useless employees of the organization.
                        3) Whether it is the policy of the organization to delay the payments of several (thousands) customers so that that money is utilized for your business.
                        4) Whether your organization has become bankrupt and as a result is not in a position to repay the customers' security deposit ever after several months and even after several complaints and in spite of your organization promising to pay before some dates, hours, minutes and seconds several times.

                        A small business man will refund this kind of amount in matter of hours or at the most few days. But alas! one of the biggest organizations of India is not in a position to refund just Rs. 1000=00 even after several months in spite of repeated complaints from the customers and repeated promises from you. It is a pity and a matter of great concern. It definitely brings down the reputation of TATA organization.
                        My suggestion is that if you are in such a pathetic condition which is making you unable to refund such a small amount, it is better close down the organization for good so that other teleservices companies can give better service to the customers who are being harassed continuously by you. Please do this in the larger interest of the customers who are being harassed by your organization for the last several months.
                        In fact, this should be brought to the notice of your MD and other higher officers so that they may try to clean of this mess and set right the things. Also other teleservice companies should be informed of what you are doing to your customers so that they will be in a better position to avoid such situations.

                        Finally, I want you to refund my security deposit along with interest for delayed payment immediately, failing which I may have to approach the appropriate authorities for relief. Similarly, as has been already intimated in my last complaint, my sister-in-law ( phone No.[protected] is another aggrieved person. Her security deposit may also be refunded immediately along with interest.
                        Its to ridiculous my bal. Is cute seconds time in hour . Plzzz creadit it becouse any comand the service starts so pllzzz credit 40 rupees

                        Tata Docomo — Not providing talk time after paying the amount of 500 Rs

                        I want to complain against Tata docomo.
                        My number is [protected]. I bought their 3G plan which provides 500 MB of 3G data and 60000 seconds of talk-time local, national and roaming as they claim on their site under 3G recharge options.

                        I paid 500 Rs/- for this plan and bought this plan. Now, I am on roaming and whenever I make a call, they are deducting money from my balance and not from the talk-time that I have purchased by paying 500 Rs/-.

                        When I called their customer support, their customer service representative told me that no plan of Tata Docomo works on roaming and when I told her that it has been mentioned on their web-site that it is for roaming too, she kept repeating that "I regret the inconvenience caused to you, but nothing can be done" . She kept repeating this thing showing the attitude that she can not help. I asked to speak to her senior and after a long wait, the senior came online. I told her the situation and she was not ready to accept if such thing happened. When I threatened her that I will go to consumer court as I have got all the proof of recharge and that it has been mentioned on their site that they provide the service on roaming too, she asked me to wait some time saying that she has registered the complain.
                        I was not given any registered complaint number and my balance is still being deducted rather than the talk-time that I have purchased. This is an open robbery I would consider for common people like us.
                        Please take action against these people or guide us how to proceed legally against them.

She told me for pay my pending bills of Rs 2530/- then I made the payment of Rs.1973/-on 13/12/12 immediate basis and requested her for waved off amount Rs. 557/- and closed my photon number. She assured that the same was done by her end.
                        After that I have again received a bill in Jan 13 and also received a call from your executive, I told him my connection has already been closed and I am not using portal then why you are raising bill. Please see this matter urgently and closed this issue. He assure that the same will be closed shortly and apologies for delay in cancelation of connection.
                        But after that I have again received a mail against the bill in Feb 13 and I replied on that mail I had already given request for closed the connection and made all the payment then why you are raising bill. If I am not using portal then why should have to pay for this bill. And received a reply from your center that sorry for delay in cancelation the connection. Your connection is closed and your ref. number is[protected].Please see the trail mail.
                        But today I received unknown call and he told his name Advocate Adyta Sabarwal and contact no. is ([protected]) He told me Tata Photon Company filed a case on me against my pending bill and issuing a notice for hearing in court.                         Puja Ambani from Mumbai. Tata docomo is the worst service provider in terms of internet. Also customer care executives are manner less and not well trained. Also they keep phone on hold for hours and ultimately don't come on line to talk with the customer who is holding the phone since long. They don't even call back on the alternate numbers given by the customer. They call back on the number which is unreachable and ultimately close the complaint without solving it. They don't even try to call on alternate number given. They promise that an executive will give call back within 4 hours but God knows that 4 hours of tata docomo clock is not over yet. Still haven't received any call back. Very bad, pathetic service provider. Would really suggest not to opt for tata docomo internet service.

                        DOCOMO has the worst customer service. My number is barred yesterday. I have made the payment immediately and asked them to activate it. But its been more than 24 hrs they haven't activated my number. When I call the CSR they responds it will be activated within 2 to 4 hrs and we don't know why it is delayed.

                        For any things these CSR will respond we have a different team working on it. This morning when I called them @ 11:45 and asked them to transfer the call to the activation department or supervisors. But the CSR responds they are not working. I don't knw what service these people give to customers.

When I contacted the Tata Docomo Brand Store, Bhayander west, I was told the documents are not submitted yet. Its been 6 years now I was using the connection, but in these 6 years I was never contacted for any documents. Now I am without the connection from last 10 days, but still there is no response whatsoever from the customer care or any response team. I guess its time for Tatadocomo guys to wake up and resolve this issue ASAP.                         Hi, , I am sanatan kumar and my number is :- [protected], , I have taken Tata Docomo postpaid connection on 1/Nov/14 of 799 plan of 2000 min. local and std min free, Means more than 2 hrs per day. I uses 2 hrs to talk per day.. But bill is showing 1786 rupees in 27th of Dec, , bill is totally wrong... One more thing my plan is 799 and it gives 800 Rs credit means 799+800=1599, , , then how it's showing 1786..
                        I left my job so i am going to my native permanently, so I want to disconnect this plan and My number is [protected]… I can’t pay from next month...
                        i am trying to cancel, so i called customer care, went to docomo outlet, , and written many complaints to grahak seva but no body is taking care...
                        I purchased a Tata Docomo Max Wi-Fi with a 7 GB plan on[protected]. I paid Rs 4999/- six months advance payment for the plan. I got the wi fi data card free. The plan worked satisfactorily for two months. But during Jan &amp; Feb
                        2015 it did not worked as promised. I could not download vedios &amp; YouTube during these two months despite of the fact that I had consumed less than 2GB data during each of these two months. I presume the data speed was intentionally reduced by the company. The company is cheating the consumers

                        Unfortunately, their service was inadequate because regenerating false bills. I am disappointed because when I have closed the Tata Internet service long back still its sending me bills for the same photon no:[protected] I was billed the wrong amount and was not disclosed clearly or was misrepresented.
                        Some costumer care executive called today(female), was so pissed off as I asked to talk to senior management, she says madam no use, nothing will happen, who is she to tell that really Tata as such a big company hire such Incompatible employees.

                        Tata Docomo should have a below negative rating.
                        Tata Docomo is the worst company, which is out to fleece customers with vsnl, emails. I have approached appellate as well as customer care of Tata Docomo. Not one but several emails have been sent. But there is no response.
                        Unfortunately, we have 3 VSNL emails from past 15 years. When they came out with the following changes
                        "As per our earlier communication, the VSNL mail services would be migrated to postpaid cost effective tariff plan, as given below:

                        Annual Charges:

                        1) Primary Email ID @ Rs. 599 + taxes

                        2) Per Additional Email ID @ Rs. 250 + taxes."

                        We wrote several emails to them that our one emails is to be treated as primary and other 2 additional.
                        But they have given a bill for all the emails as primary. When we objected they agreed to issue bills for additional emails, but now they have closed our emails, and by such coercive methods are forcing customers to pay for all their emails as primary emails.
                        It is illegal to block email of customers. Tata Docomo is a blot on Tata's name.

                        In short this is the Worst company having worst customer care department.
                        They dont care to read the email requests
                        There is huge huge disconnect between their customer care, accounts department and higher authorities.

                        i placed disconnection request which was not processed by them even after repetitive emails and calls and later they forced to pay for the 2 months when it was finally they processed the request. Even their own franchise manager was telling them that delay occurred because of them still none was listening.
                        i have email from their support person saying my concern was RESOLVED but none is paying attention to that and simply sending notice to pay the amount or face court case.

                        Another worst part is... they ask us to email and send auto-responder with no reference of our request or complaint raised. Every time there is a new person to speak to and explain the same. Over phone there is no way to record what was committed by the support person then. They themselves update ticket as closed/ resolved and or open new ticket which makes the old original date as gone by... very cheap people sitting and handling genuine issues being faced by the end customer.
                        decided to cut all TATADOCOMO Lines and connection as well tell others be aware of such incidents
                        i should have rated this article high... i have experienced similar services and attention from TataDocom like other and very unhappy with their attitude. Seems ground staff is BAD and poor skilled ppl and unable to see the details.

                          This is reagrding the post paid TATA DOCOMO connection [protected] on behalf of Mr. Nitin Teredesai. I have paid security deposit Rs. 500 for getting the service which was supposed to be refunded after discontinuation of services. This connection was deactivated due to negative address verification report from their side.
                          However I am awaiting the deposit amount paid for getting Tata Docomo postpaid sevice. I was told by Tata Docomo gallary at KPCT mall in Fatima Nagar Pune (from where I purchased the sim) that I will be refunded by the company diectly through the check, which I was supposed to receive within 45 days after disconnection of my sim.

                          The effective date of disconnection is 18Th of Oct. 09, as confirmed by Docomo call centres executives. I have contineously followed the issue with Tata Docomo gallary at KPCT mall in Fatima Nagar Pune as well as with Docomo call centre representatoves for last three months but am unable to get satisfactory response which is definately good sign for the reputed company as TATA

                                Tata Docomo — receiving messages from tata numbers

                                I have been receiving disturbing messages from the number [protected]. The person generally doesnt pick my calls, but just sends msgs. Please help me . Once he picked up my call and talked like this " welcome to ICICI Bank, press one and two .you have not pressed so i am disconnecting.
                                So intention is just to disturb.

                                Warn him please, i have saved all messages to provide proof.

                                  Hi,
                                  I wanted to buy a TATA DOCOMO Postpaid connection, hence provided all the relevant documents (PAN Card, Company HR Letter, Airtel Landline Bill for address proof & 2 passport size photo) to the agency who contacted me. The executive who took my documents informed that I would get the sim card in 2-3 days, which never happened and I repeatedly started calling him for the same. He started giving me a slip and one fine day called me and said that the sim card stocks are over and I would get it as soon as possible. After few days I left interest in Postpaid connection and purchased a Prepaid connection.

                                  After a month I get a bill from TATA DOCOMO of Rs. 2181/- dated 25th September '09. I was shocked to see the bill coming to my postal address. I tried contacting the customer care, however it always connected to the Prepaid customer care. Unfortunately they didn't have the details of Postpaid connection customer care. I sent a mail to their customer care and received confirmation that I need to pay any charges.

                                  Now I get a notice from 'District Legal Services Authority Bangalore City' stating I need to do a settlement or they would take legal actions against me. I need to produce myself before the Lok Adalat on 18th Jan '2010.

                                  Please look into the matter and provide me a solution for the same.

                                  I too got a similar letter.This is all money power by corporates, they are using courts as there collection executives.
                                  My mobile No. is [protected] which was activated by Rs.200/- with PAN Card & Railway ID X-rox & but it was blocked by you it is unjustic with me. It is so bad I could not call even customer care so I am requested to you if you will unable to give the proper service please don't misgauid the customer. I talked re-presentetive Mr. Shahajad Hasan, Sr. Execute mumbai brance. but he also not give the reply satisfactory.

                                    Hi Team,

                                    This is regarding a legal notce by Tata Tele service dated 16th Dec 2009 and 6th Jan 2010. Though I have asked (Customer care) to cancil my post paid connection ([protected]) they kept the line open and now asking me to pay the bill which I have never used.

                                    I got the legal notce along with multiple calls from tatadocomo to pay the amount. And I always asked them that the connection should have been canciled and amount 199 (first monts bill) can be deducted from the advance money 300/= I paid when I took the connection. They agreed every time; however they have sent me the legal notice.

                                    Now, I have received a letter from District Legal Services Authority Bangalore to present on 18th Jan 2010 to Civil court.

                                    Please advice me what to do now?

                                    Dear Prabhat,

                                    Same happened to me recently, but on their USB moden internet service. When visited their office, they said the girl (employee) who took my disconnection written request doesn't work there anymore and also my request letter cannot be found.

                                    I got notice to pay the bill for Rs.2150 for non usuage connection from the District Legal Services Authority Kochi. Anyway I send them a reply via post referring the case no. to verify and confirm the complaint against me.

                                    Also they have to pay me my security deposit amount coming to Rs.1500 back for a disconnected broadband service... from April 2009.

                                    You don't need to go and represent before them... would be a waste of your valuable time. This is a long process and source of income for their advocates... send them your reply for the notice through a registered post and a copy to the advocate who send it. Wait for the reply.

                                    In all the cities in India, they do have pathetic customer service people, very irresponsible staff who always makes mistakes and we (customers) have to pay for that. Not sure when the senior staff of TATA will even care to look into these issues.

                                    They won't hang you for not paying the amount ;) This TATA's and others makes a huge lot money cheating people and through the weak laws in our country... sadly most of the time law favors the corporates.

                                    If again they reply you to appear in court... just file a case against them in the consumer court. I'll keep you updated... as that's my plan in such a situation. Also use the "Right to Information Act"... and ask them to show the usuage data for the period they billed for the account.

Despite excessive and wrong billing, on insistence of Tata Docomo Bangalore to close the case, I paid Rs 3000 as a compromise amount. However my wife is getting threatening calls from following Nos [protected], [protected], [protected] of a Lawyer called Devendra Sharma. I demand refund of Rs 3000 from your company and also i am lodging a complaint with Bangalore Police and consumer court for threatening calls and mentally harassing and disturbing whole family against Tata Docomo and Advocate Devendra Sharma.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I am a subscriber of Tata Docomo (Mob.No.[protected]) for over a month now. There are a number of problems I have been facing since I took this connection. There is call dropping, poor signal strength in main city area, the calls do not connect and problems in sending and receiving SMSs.

                                      I have lodged complaints several times on theire help line number 121 but to no avail and to date the problems persist.

                                      In a bid to force them to address my compalints I tried to hold payment of their bill, but this also did not work as they started sending me SMS that if bill is not paid the calls will be barred. Since this is the sole connection I have, I had to perforce pay the bill despite my wishes otherwise. However even after payment of the bill as soon as the SMS for call barring was received and confirmation of receipt of payment by the service provider through SMS to my mobile number, I find the calls barred w.e.f. 23.20 hrs of 08th Jan.2010.

                                      The service provider has shown total disregard to the hardship to which its customer is being subject due to the poor quality of service and has managed to trap the customer in forcefully subscribing to his service as switching to another service provider is going to be difficult since this mobile number has already been used by me for several other identification and mobile transaction purposes.

                                      Now I request you to please take it up with the serivice provider and make them accountable for their tall cliams of service in their advertisements in the media and thereby trapping gullible customers to an other wise reprehensible quality of mobile phone service.

                                        I submitted 4 times my id proof for the same number. The outgoing from this number is allowed for some days. They now debarred my outgoing calls and asked again submitting my ID proof for the same number.
