NEVER GO FOR TATADOCOMO and they are doing cheap tricks for marketing in public, they changed the plan now and i talked to customer care that they never had those unlimited gprs plans and no TATADOCOMO person revealed those plans any where for press. TATA si doing unethical practices in india from long time, it is better to avoid TATA in our life. TRAI is a useless body in india seems getting lot of bribes. TRAI put a rule that any plans introduced by telecom companies should be atleast for 6 months after launch. Whats is going on now? TRAI is sleeping? What the lawyers and Bigs doing in india, any one has guts to file the case on TATADOCOMO, come on indians, open your eyes and file and fire TATAs from INdia
International incoming calls are not coming. i bought TATA DOCOMO sim starting with 8 series. my brother will call from US to my home landline but i thought it is usefull to have a cheap ISD calling rates sim.Than i bought TATA DOCOMO sim but in that international incoming calls are not coming. very worst experience. waste of money.

    Since one month i.e from the day i activated my sim I am not able to recieve calls from Vodafone numbers.Customer care people are saying within two days it will be rectified. They are telling it since a month. Iam fed up of calling to customer care.Pllease help me
    Docomo services are really sucks ... they are shameless people ...
    check the below mail list


    they are unpeofessional people ... even cannot solve small issues...

    I am not able to make call to any Vodafone numbers... i have lunched number off complains..

    But they re not able to solve the issue even once till date...

      I m using TATA DOCOMO SIM from last 2 months...I m using MOTOROLA A1200, top speaker is good when i am using another sim its good, but when i am inserting DOCOMO sim the seaker will be proble.
      I have taken a SIM on the 1st week of Nov '09 submitting all required document to DOCOMO retailer.
      DOCOMO mobile no - [protected], SIM no -[protected]. Few days later I found outgoing calls are blocked. 20 days later, I was informed that my docs are rejected. I resubmitted docs again. But now my SIM is permanently deactivated. I did Rs150 recharge and that too has gone unused.
      I'm using 3 (three nos) Airtel's SIMs for last 8 years and never found such issues. Why DOCOMO business partners and DOCOMO are so inactive ??

        tata docomo sim card mrp. rs.49 but in market customer getting sim card in rs.150 to 200 .pls.do the needful.

        My phone keeps hanging every 2 minutes. It hangs even during an ongoing call. I tried using handsets of different brands to verify if its a hand set prob but all hand sets function abnormally once DOCOMO is inserted. Customer care did not satisfy my queries appropriately. I jus do not know what to do. It is very inconvenient. Even if I try to access my contacts or try messaging, the phone hangs. I have been told that the DOCOMO sim cards are incompatible with our phones. I think such issues should have been addressed and resolved before introducing such sims in the market.

        Yes DOCOMO SIM has various issue, its true my LG windows mobile handset also hangs within few seconds once TATA DOCOMO network is established.
        This doesn’t happen with BSNL 3G SIM card or other 2G sim cards here in Pune
        I did MNP from Reliance CDMA to DOCOMO GSM and got 1GB free data for a month
        But unfortunately won’t be able to use it any more on this phone
        Will some how finish it with USB 3G modem then DUMP DOCOMO and MOVE on to Vodafone after 3rd month.

          This is Raja Sheeba MS from Bangalore. On 2nd October 2013, I called the CustomerCare and enquired them about the FullTalkTime offer and the person who picked the call, promised me that there is an FullTalkTime offer for RC 90. I did the recharge on the same day night, but it got recharged for some internet package.
          Again, I called the CustomerCare and explained everything to them and they promised me since Supervisor is busy at the moment, call by tomorrow morning(i.e 3rd October 2013) and we will give you the benefit. From yesterday morning, I kept on calling the Customer Care but it was not getting connected to the Customer Care.
          Even, I called from other networks to [protected] but after listening to my issue, they are not giving the connection to the concerned person. Really got fed up with the service. You have to answer me for the pain I had gone through last 2 days.

          1. As per the Data act, my mobile number shouln't be shared with any outsiders. But seems like the customer service agent (Anthony) who attended my call this morning at 12:00AM(21 Oct) has given my number to his friends to use foul languages on me.
          2. He has also deactivated the GPRS at 12:26AM this morning, though no request been made from my side.

          I have been severely disturbed on what's been going on with my account and the Docomo's customer service. A complaint (PSR[protected]) has been registered already but nobody is interested to understand the urgency of the issue. I just didn't want my contact to be visible here. And guys from docomo, please do refer to my complaint reference number

          I tried to reach every corner to find if someone can actually understand my issue and sort it out ([protected]@tatadocomomarketing.com ; [protected]@tatadocomo.com; customercare.[protected]@tatatel.co.in; appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com; Nodal.[protected]@tatadocomo.com). But in vain! I wish somebody can pass me Corporate/Jogesh Nayar's email id to show my grievances? (Though via the feedback option in Tata website, the same complaint has been sent to Jogesh, a couple of seconds before)

          I did online recharge of rs 500 Where it was saying full talk time. After recharge through tata docomo website by selection option of full talktime, your customer care saying that i did recharge for other scheme. i have sent them screen shot also where it is showing full talktime. i did recharge under number [protected]. If you have 2 different scheme with same amount and system having confusing for that, it is not my fault. i want my money back or recharge which i did.

          Really this is irresponsible and dis satisfied service.

          Last week saturday i took Tata Photon Wifi device and yesterday it got activated. 7 days they took for activation. I need internet very badly as my reliance
          data card is become slow. Yesterday Photon got activated and i am not able to connect to the internet. I dont know the reason behind it but Reliance data card is
          conneting to my laptop. Yesterday i called almost 5 times to cust care ... Please find out the issues below and resolve asap.

          1) When i called customer care in the morning, she told me that she had created my id in http://www.tatadocomo.com/ and pwd is sent to my personal id
          but i did not get any mail from her.

          2) Since it is not connecting, I went to tata docomo center which in BTM layout bangalore, They asked me to go directly to koramangala which is too far for me.

          3) Then i called to customer care for technical help, she told me that techinical team will call me with in 4 hrs and resolve the issue. But i did not get any call

          till now and its almost 18 hrs over and she asked me to register in http://www.tatadocomo.com/.

          4) When i try to register as a new user in this website it is saying already registered and if i click forgot password button, i am getting below message.
          "Sorry! We were unable to process your request. Please try again and if issue still persists, contact Customer Care for further assistance."

          5) Then again i called to customer care, but i did not get any response from them. When i spoke with chat they are not supporting photon max and gave me your mail id.

          I dont understand one thing, If the dongle is not working for me what is the point of taking new connection by spending 2000/- and it is not using for me now.
          I called so many times to the customer care but no one is taking respoonsiblity to solve the issues. what is the point of calling customer support.
          It is very very pathetic the support you TATA docomo is proving. If you can not able to solve the issues, I will retun my dongle to TATA docomo center.

          Please arrange a techinical consultant to solve my issues ASAP

          Stop using this number and take another number by another and good service provider. Tata docomo will run behind you only when they want money. They will follow up only when you don't pay your bill.
          I am a Customer of Docomo from Dec 12 and the service was pathetic and when i requested for Cancellation they never cancelled the service instead they have been charging me at last i was successful in cancelling the service finally they are charging me 3 months Extra bills and extra Dongle charge which was refundable as penalty.Even after contacting the highest level of escalaiton getting the same response.I d never recommend Docomo to anyone.

          Very poor customer support.its been more than 10 times I contacted tata docomo phone as well as email support to activate my connection. Everytime they ask me to wait for 24 hours. The worst part is all customer agents told they raised complaint and escalated to senior team.but still the issue didn't get resolve and I don't know who is that irresponsible senior member. I have been paying bills ontime so far.At last I have decided to close this connection be coz of worst support from these so called customer care agents

              Hello Sir,

              I have taken a post paid sim card of TATA DOCOM by paying a deposit of Rs. 300 on August 11. I submitted all the required documents. But my outgoing and incoming have been barred on 4th September. When I called the customer care, they my address verification has become wrong. But no one visited my home nor called me when they made a visit. Without any intimation, they disconnected my services of outgoing and incoming.

              I requested the customer care for a re-initiation of address verification and gave an alternate number also. But till now no one has come and even my services are still barred.


              Hence, I request you take appropriate action on them and make my connection as early as possible,

              I am also facing similar type of problem my outgoing calls have been barred saying that my documents did not reached.I bought the sim from mysore and now my office is in bangalore.I cant go to mysore to my retailer to ask him submit my documents instead i have already given my documents to him.This is not my fault.Customer care are not responding saying there is no alternate way.

                I have been a customer of tata docomo since 2 months.
                O lat friday morning,when i switched on my mobile,my outgoing were cut,but i am able to receive calls.It was having full signal.the next day morning both incoming and outgoing were restricted.
                After asking one retailer,He gave me the office address of docomo at mysore,Saraswaripuram.
                I have gon there and when i asked about my problem,they gave some distrrubutor's address.
                After getting there ,he told me to go to another distributor.But thanks to the distributor,he connected me to the customer care and they assured me of correcting the proble within 6 hours.Its the 1pm s problem.Then again in the evening i called the cc and they told to wait for another 2 hours..
                Now its sunday,7 pm still not done.

                Could anyone help me.Even i dont have any tata docom to ask the ccare.

                this is koteswarao frm mangalore.i recharged for 95rs gprs pakage wit docomo custmer care.they said its absolutely free browsing but its the worst ting i never feel again i am charged for 1kb 1ps for the nxt day.and i called custmer care 16times in next day..at last by completion of 16 cals i came to one conclusion that we cannot use that pakage in the sence no google, yaho, rediff accounts should be opened wit in free unlimited.and for another web sites also we cannot go free of cost.only home pages only u should open they said.wat can we do with home pages witout operating that site?wats the use.even for that home page also amound deducting.wats the worng wit docomo.even no signal.lak of knowlede custmer care employes!i was used to put a case on this to cosmer court.so please kindly reply for this and giv me solution.

                I have got some GPRS issue in my mobile and I am not able to access the Internet. i have been calling customer care from last 2 days but no proper response. Everytime executive ask to do the same questions which irritatedo much . I am asking to provide complain number and they disconnect my call...if i call back, I can not connect to the same guy again and the other guy star the full story again...I tried calling customer care more than 50 times in 2 days...but now I am feeling helpless. Really very dissatidfied service and very disqualified customer executives...please be aware and think so many times if you are buying docomo sim...:(

                  Dear Sir,
                  I buy a TATA DoCoMo Pre-paid sim card in Hoody, at Bangalore. At that time itself i submitted all my proofs (Xerox of My Passport and My Photograph) what ever they want. But that sim card was not activated 2 weeks. In those 2 weeks i reachout so many times retailor shop where i buy sim card, every time he told that "Just now i spoken to TATA DoCoMo customer care service people. It will activate by tomorrow, like that 2 weeks time gone." After 2 weeks the retailor told me that "There is problem in your TATA DoCoMo sim card. You can go Marathahalli shop (opposite to Inox Theatre), they will exchange your TATA DoCoMo sim card with free of cost". I accept that and i went to Marathahalli shop. But that shop people told "Where ever you buy TATA DoCoMo sim card, you can exchange with that retailor itself". Once again i came back to the retailor where i buy TATA DoCoMo sim card, He told that "Now TATA DoCoMo sim card cost is increased to Rs.300, when you buy at that time it was only Rs.200. Now you can pay Rs.300 and get new sim".
                  I don't know what should i do at that time. For that i concern TATA DoCoMo Customer Care People they took very long time to solve my issue, But finally they told that "You can pay Rs.75 and get a new TATA DoCoMo duplicate sim card in our retail shop". I didn't satisfy with his reply to my mail.

                  I buy TATA DoCoMo sim card at the cost of Rs.200 instead of Rs. 100. I didn't use this TATA DoCoMo sim card service even for single second. Then how i can pay again more money for duplicate TATA DoCoMo sim card. Please help me out on this issue.

                  I am a Sales Tax Department employee. I have received SIM before 1 moth and tata representative has come to my home for verification for two times. Subsequently after two months one call i got from Hyderabad that is[protected]. That person claimed that he belongs to TATA DOCOMO and wanted me to confirm my address. I said i am sandip singh n then he wanted my address. I replied that how i would know that u r calling from TATA DOCOMO then he replied ' you have to believe us and there is no other way out'. Then he replied NO and said that he would disconnect my no. When i asked his name he 1st told Monoj and then he claimed that he is Sidharth. Now u plz tell wheather i doubt or not. Now yesterday i got one sms from tata docomo that wihtin 48 hours i have to submit my photo n documents again otherwise they will disconnect my connection. I think i have made blunder by taking a connection from TATA DOCOMO. I have 2 other connection of RIM n AIRCEL but they never did this.                   My self syied anwer from bangalore, i have purchased a new tata docomo SIM on the 3rd day of release in karnataka, starting tata docomo launches new-new offeres, i agree with that offers, later on docomo service is goes to worst, day by day docomo user's facing new issuess, if i called up to customer care, they smartly escape, they blaming on us, i mean i am facing lot of issues with tata docomo, i am not abel rto send an SMS, i am not abel to browse NET, but in the same handset if i use any other network connections SIM card's, i can abel to get all services, i am not satisfied with tata docomo's service, in bangalore tata docomo customer care people no one is giving proper service to customers, they are frankly telling we can go to consumer court, or which ever indian rules in court, but they are arguing with customers, i just want to say 1 thing, who ever is that karnataka's state head, he is not fullfilling his job.

                  I had a new tata docomo connection from a retailer. i had submitted the documents. but after a few days my outgoin was stopped becaues the retailer had not submitted the documents. i went to him but he said he had submitted. i am new to bangalore and cannot make any calls.

                  Tata Docomo — My Connection of prepaid got deactivated after two months

                  Hi,

                  I got number of docomo prepaid on 28 Aug 10 and also submitted documents such as Electricity bill, PAN card, Voter ID and Photo.

                  But suddenly on 29 Sept 10 they deactivated my number. When I called customer care they told me that you have not submitted your documents, so that your number is deactivated. And it cannot be activated again.

                  I was using that number from two months and was having balance of 200rs. They are not refunding to me, so please let me know what to do in such circumstances.
                  Even Docomo customer care people attitude is not good.
                  My question to docomo people is why they deactivated my number after two months on basis of documents? Who will refund my recharge balance amount?

Rather than not getting the balance refunded or amount deducted, what disturbed me the most is the response from your customer care.2 days back I spoke to a girl whose name i forgot(Sindhu i hope so), She heard my issues and told me that that the amount will be refunded. (You may check my numbers note or history for records)another person named Mohammed Anas told me to set the settings again and try after switching off/on the set. I did the same and i lost my whole balance all of a sudden. What is happenning, I rang up your customer care and spoke to a girl whose name was Anju, her behaviour was of the kind that she will bring no profit for you. I was not at all satisfied with her response. For the sake of asking she asked me if I was satisfied with the her response and she just hang up the phone. How dare is it that she does so. Its not for anything extra we call to customer service, its for geting wat we have paid for. Take care of my issue and see to it that i get my service rectified and my balance refunded.

I have used postpaid service for long time for my previous number so i new all prices of service by the company . on 26th may 2011 i with my friend went to tata gallery at Virar West [ Dist- Thane ; Vasai ] for applying new sim card for number 7276***** . i provided the person with nesseccary document and he provided us the loss sim card asked us for Rs 100 . I was knowing the price for new sim is Rs 50 only . I told him to give us the receipt we are ready to pay on that your employer told that no such receipts are given to any customer . For that i told him i have received receipts earlier for sim change .their your employer told nothing so i had to ask him again for that he told me come after 2 days you will be given recipt .                   for docomo. I had tried minimum 10 - 15 times now but every time i selected
                  pre-paid it went to postpaid section. Really annoyed with this kind of

No information was shared and they said the verification was done online. When the phone is not reachable they just disconnect!. Shame on you tata.

                  docomo services are very bad. activating services to the customers without any intimation and charged money. and also not connecting the customer care form mobile for any complaints. wat can the customer do. its better to keep docomo for incoming and use another network for outgoing. even i suffered this type of problem atleast 9 times. this is not fare. please rectify this type of mistakes.

                  ([protected]) TATA DOCOMO, the Worst Service Ever i Can Challenge and say with Proof, A call came giving me a postpaid offer, i (MdShkArif) accepted, and took my Adhar card xerox and photo and disconnected my service the same day, since September 1, 2011 since then it has been 27 days and still TeamLeader SriNivas promised me sending the new sim with postpaid connection 26 days ago, and not yet delivered, and i visited Tata Docomo's Branch at Panjagutta and they said sending it till 6 o'clock, but that time has never came, i made nearly 50 calls asking please activate my prepaid or send me new sim with postpaid connection whatsoever as it is my family's primary number. God Really Knows What the Hell these guys are doing as a Corporate Telecommunication Company, Claiming Big Deals, Have God's fear, ShameOnYouGuys.

Do the Portability from Local Retailer. If they are authorised to do the same then why they are sending us to Retailer. I hve Airtel Prepaid Sim Card which I hv to convert to Docomo Prepaid Card.

                    i have purchased a tata docomo prepaid card i have submitted all proofs but still it is a weak has passed my number is not yet registered with them after submitting all proofs( copy of pan card duly signed and copy of ration card dully signed) there is no reponse from customer care and signal is also week.

                      I am a customer of docomo and i must say i 'm so very dissappointed with them. I thought since TD being a joint venture of TATA (One of the most trustable brand of india) and DOCOMO(the very best from japan), the network and all the services woulde be really over the top. But u guys are worse than Reliance man. When u guys are launching a service on such a large scale don't u guys test them. Whenever try to make a call get "Network busy" and sometimes the network totally goes off. my phone doesn't detect it for an hour or so. But airtel was really working fine. I'm really sad and dissappointed with your services. I can say only this line(In Hindi) " TATA ki poori izzat mitti mein mil gayi...". Hope you fix this problem in a week or i'm going back to my airtel.

                      the fact that you are receiving SMS from ''TA-Arena'' indicates the message is sent by TATA (T) in ANDHRA PRADESH (A) ... hence this is not a service activated by AIRTEL but instead by YOU.

                      So you need to directly deactivate the same.

                      AIRTEL cannot be held resposnible for a service which you have activated, post confirming on the sign up page that you agree to pay RE 1 PER DAY.

                      Good Afternoon Sir/Mam,
                      I - Avirup Ghosh, a client of your Company using airtel services for long is not getting proper services recently regarding Airtel-Live and Speedflirt Service.                       please provide some schemes for the STD calls also. it costs 60 paisa per minute. i think it is better to go with airtel which was my favourite and costs only 50 paisa per minute. i cannot get the tata docomo easy recharge in tirunelveli(TN). please provide some remedy as soon as possible.

                      I think so there is no network station in our area
                      in kolkata tata docomo launched almost a year back and still the network is quite poor in kolkata. at home there is no network. it seems that the signal cannot penetrate barriers like walls when new operators in kolkata like idea and uninor is providing better service !
                      the worst part is that i had made several complaints thru email and by phone. they keep on giving resolution dates but these dates never work and they keep on postponing ! the cc team has always the same excuse that its a new network, give it sometime...its almost a year man..u have launched in kolkata on 6th sept 09 and still u need time !

                      Tata Docomo — signal so weak

                      Hi, myself gurvinder here. My complaint is to the tata docomo engineers and customer relation officers. I had brought my new prepaid number [protected] about a four month back as soon as it was launched in HARIDWAR for the reason that i heard a lot about the gprs speed of its, and straight away i chose for monthly pack of rs 95. But really sorry to say that from the day of activation i m only getting the speed around 2 to 3 kbps, all the day and from last weeks it is coming less than 1 kb and i receive only 2 to 3 block of signal on my cell that is really pathetic as compared to other networks on my nokia n82 although it supports EDGE also . I had so many talks with the customer service executives but they were not able to help me out. After hearing the extension in downloading limits, Is there anyone to fetch my issue and resolve it

                          My out going call was barred . All document i have submitted.

                          Then also i m not able to make outgoing calls, Every day i am calling to customer care but i am not getting any resolution. every time they tell within 24 hour it will be activated .

                          its showing call barring. Customer told me to go to retailer shop.
                          So many times I went to retailer shop, they have called/sent email to customer care.
                          Then also my problem is not resolved. Still I am facing problem. Not able to make out going. I guess its a technical problem. They are not forwarding my call to technical department.

                          When ever i call customer care is they telling that, my out going call is activated. But still i m facing problem. I want a permanent solution.

I have identified that this number belongs to TATA docomo provider and is from the state of Kerala. I am mentally disturbed from this harassment.                                 NOKIA MOBILE 2300 — Unavailability of Guaranteed Battery

                                I have been using your mobile 2300 for the past 3 years.

                                Now since the original battery has lost its life, I replaced the battery. But sorry to say that the battery is not lasting long and every 4 hours or so, I have to recharge the battery. Though the battery indicator shows BATTERY FULL, the battery gets discharged very frequently

                                Just 2 days o[censored]sing and my sim card says No SIM CARD inserted in any phone. i went to the gallery, they said because you put it in 3315 it stopped working. it wasnt even written on the brochure that itll spoil the sim card in 3315. now they say ive to pay 100rs more for it. + they dont even have duplicate sim cards.                                 I purchased a DOCOMO sim ( [protected] ), about 3-4 months ago, don't remember the date. The sim was working fine ( i gotta nokia 5610 Xpress music ), i used to make calls n smses. but since a month im facing the all above probs in the prevs posts, such as freezing, hanging, n what not. N the battery got (F)SUCKED UP within few hours due to the range problem, first i thought tat it waz due to some software problem, got the mobile formatted from nokia care, but still the problem persists, but airtel sim's working fine in it, battery backup in normal.

                                I too have a docomo sim which has a problem in it. When i insert the sim, my mobile restarts automatically & this goes on frequently. When i try to make a call or message, the phone restarts. Many of my friends have the same problem. They have changed to another network. As i hav given this number to many of my contacts, i could'nt change it.


                                Hope the TATA people service or replace the sim free of cost as it is their mistke to manufacture faulty sim cards.
                                For me, docomo sim works fine only with black & white nokia handset. it failed working in pda-htc, nokia series603rd - n73 & 3250, nokia series40 also.
                                ppl docomo is hopeless and the worst service ever .
                                finally i got the sim replaced for 50 bucks, i demanded for the receipt of blank sim ( phukat thodi khareeda hai yaar !! ) but these pll dont give a receipt also. but now itz working fine . actually the sim cards are faulty,

                                I, Abhiroop Sarkar a State Bank employee has purchased a Nokia mobile phone(model 3100c) of grey colour from Nuyork Teleworld on 19/05/2009.But after five months from purchasing date the phone was having a software problem.After that I went to Nokia Care with the software problem and they have done the needful things but the software problem again arises after one month.I have went to Nokia Care thrice but at the fourth time they refused to deal with the software problem and demanding money to solve the problem while the phone is still under gurantee period.

                                I am using docomo sim from last one year. Using GPRS also in my N73 without any problems. I am happy with it. But from last 2 weeks i am facing problem. The network is strong / full but i am not able to make any calls. It always shoing CONNECTION ERROR. No out going calls, no incoming calls it always says mobile is switch off. No message sending. Message is always stuck in outbox and showing message is resending. Don't know whats the problem. Help me out.
                                my nokia 3110 classic is hanged when i insert the tat docomo sim if i insert the other networks i can't get the problem and my cell is fully working .                                 i have a similar problem, this perticular docomo sim is not working in my cellphone. all the other sim card works fine in mine, and this docomo sim works in other cell expect mine.

                                i can only make calls for 5 minutes right after i restart my cellphone, after that it shows error in connection(with full range). and if i change the profile to flight mode and then to general the range bar goes to zero.

                                if i dont go to flight mode the phones battery gets f#ed in few hours!!

M Balwinder from Chandigarh. i have a tata docomo connection which i m using from 14 nov 2009. in starting there ws no problem of network and services, i sugestd my friends to take tata docomo coz of its good facilities.. but soon after 3 months it starts giving network problem.. shows me in roaming even when i m in local area, call drop, sms sending fail etc.. this was not enough, a new problem took place. my handset get restart momently, that time i thought that its my cell problem but soon i came to know about this same problem happening with my friend's handset using tata docomo.. we decided to change the operator to check weather its a sim problem or handset problem.. it was sim problem. now from last 2 months i m trying to get my sim replacd but there is also a problem.. customer care is providing me only mobile numbers of tata stores and they are not able to provide me a proper address which will be near to me.. so, even not able to replace my sim because there is no tata store near to my home.

                                tata docomo= worst. tata docomo is the worst service provider in india. there is no operator in india which has sim-phone compatibility issue. i have nokia 7210 and nokia 1110, in both handsets tata docomo sim does not work. i requested so many times ti cutomer care to look into the matter, they just told me to buy a phone which is compatible to their sim. but beleive me, each and evry sim like airtel, voda, rel, idea etc. all works on my phone. i was really surprised to see that tata docomo sim does not work with NOKIA phones. so i suggest you not to buy tata docomo, instead you can buy any other. As its not possible for everyone to buy a phone for a rs-49 tata docomo sim. and not only that as per DOT guideline it never use this phone compatibility issue, it says that service providers only need IMEI number but nothing. tata docomo works on chinese mobile not in nokia. customer care person says to change the sim, but i told them every time that when i went to the tata docomo dealer he inserted so many sims, not a single sim works. so please everyone here dump tata docomo and buy anything other than this.

                                Tatadocomo — my sim problem

                                i have sim problem of tatadocomo service.
                                Problem- when i am use this sim it will work only few minutes(maximum 2 min).By this my frnd and family calls are missed by me. I will change my phone but in all phone my sim card give same problem.
                                So i call tatadocomo care they give me solution tu duplicate sim card. But why .. I take duplicate sim card. My sim is on from 8 months . Sim is not defected by any reasons.

                                So what i do.

                                I will case on the company because company made a local simcard which are not perfectly usable.

                                  I have a bad experience with TATA DOCOMO, for the past three months iam using DOCOMO sim ([protected])and suddenly by outgoing calls got blocked without any notification.
                                  While enquring Customer care they informed me due to verificatioin is not happened, this is the second time TATA DOCOMO people is troubling me for resubmitting the documnets, as i alrrady submittedb the same twice once with retailer and next time dirctly in your Kormangla office bangalore, Karnataka.

                                  I feel bad to say that TATA DOCOMO's irresponsibility of proper updating their database, becuaes of the same iam in trouble and nobody helping me to sort the issue.

                                  One thing is clear that iam not going to resubmit the documnets again, please investigate on this where is miss happen from your office at Kormangala or it is a human eror in updating the database.

                                    sir TKT agency in vellore is the distributor for tata docomo gsm cards for vellore district this idiotic owner sells the cards only to thier relations or related distributornad not giving to other dealers or mobile stores and these pople sell the docomo cards at the price of 250 to 500 rs in vellore and near vit college this is the worse thing happening in vellore where the company person doesnt even care wht they are selling where the card cost of rs 49 and the first recharge is 51 the card just cost only hundred and these people selling more then 150 tis is a shame where the tata docomo is facing a loss that people go for other service providers where they are cheaper than tata like airtel reliannce and vodafone

                                    Hi,

                                    This is to inform you that I have a Tata Docomo Prepaid connection which I wanted to be migrated to Post paid. The Agent came and took all my relevant documents and it has been more than three weeks but my connection has not been migrated to Post paid. Called your toll free numbers many times and was told that it would be done within 48 hours but the 48 hours has not arrived since last 1 month. At last I spoke to an agent named Mazima who was a little bit helpful but she told that she is going to make it happen in next 48 hours and this was 1 week back. Today again I called up and spoke to the so called Team leader Syed, who assured me that he would make sure that the postpaid is activated in next 1 hour and if not I was supposed to call him and inform him the same. Well, it was not activated even today I waited for the whole day and tried calling him in the evening, but he did not answer or return my call. This has been an ongoing irritating process since last 1 month where you guys promise me that you would make sure that is done in next 48 hours and 1 hour but nothing happens, I have given you all my relevant documents which you asked ages back and your guys came to my place twice and verified and took my documents and have been making false promises stating that it is being dealt accordingly. I am forced to say that you guys do not believe in building customer relations. The agents on call are least bothered to answer politely or even speak appropriately and not only this, they blame me saying that I this is because I am migrating and not taking a new connection. I have spoken to Suman, Kartik, Nazeem and God knows how many more to no help!!!

                                    Well, let me tell you that I am not taking new connection because I do not want to change my number and if I am doing that I don’t think that im doing some kind of sin. I would like to know once and for all that if it is possible to migrate my repaid to postpaid and if yes how much time it would take and please do not tell me 48 hours or 1 hour because I have been hearing this since last 1 month. IF it is not possible, I would like my documents back and I would no longer have Docomo as my Service provider for phone. I will make sure that this is reported to the consumer service forum and also on the social network to avoid anyone else being fooled.

                                    sir i am having shop in latheri its near to katpadi, vellore district.my area tata docomo agancy name is SRI RAM traders(vellore).past 3 months we are asking EC sim but till now they didnt provide sim and coupons also.when i am called to sales person or owner they are not responsible.

                                    I think this is loss to tata docomo only.Because in my shop done all type of EC except TATADOCOMO.
                                    please ask to agency they are interested to do business or not.if not interested give chance to me i will increase your bueiness.

                                      As TATA is known for its irresponsible consumercare services, this time also it was up to expectations. I bought card of 500 rupees but despite complaining multiple times it did not work. I advise not to buy any tata product.

                                      I recently bought a TataDocomo SIM card (Sl No: [protected]) by getting seduced by the low tariff advertisements. Yes, its correct that they offer lowest and second wise billing tariff... but I am not getting calls nowadays.. Instead, getting these great services only

                                      No Network !
                                      Check Operator services !
                                      No service !
                                      Fail !

                                      So, if you are buying SIM for making calls and receiving calls, never go for DOCOMO. If you want to do exercise for your fingers by redialing 10-15 times for making calls, do go. But even that wont help in the evening time from 6 - 10 o clock. Even rarely if you get connected from DOCOMO, the calls get lasted only for a couple of mins, may be they set it like that, to give opportunity to all docomo customers to make calls once in six hours! Ha Ha.

                                      If you want to receive and make calls, better go for Airtel or vodafone. I have been using VirginMobile and Tata CDMA for sometime and once TATA people started selling the infrastructure, the call quality and connectivity of Virgin and CDMA too has reduced considerably. May be the network is good in metros, but we dont stay in metros full time and I stay in a big city very near to Metro and you can think about the NetworkCoverAge! in other areas. The funniest thing is people throng in big Q to buy SIM like a hot cake even in black market and later repent! I tried in main road, climbed top of tree, above fire, in water and under water to make calls and still trying to make calls, may be someday someone will be successful to receive and make calls using this SIM :-D. Don't believe the signal stength of the Docomo in your phone, its just a masquerade, you will have full signal and you will get message, No Network, SIM card registration failed !

                                      So, don't go for DOCOMO now... or enjoy finger exercise and frustration all time as I do :-) I thought of posting this review as I don't others too get frustrated and curse themselves by going for DOCOMO...

                                      We understand your concern regarding the discrepancy in the duration of call from your TATA DOCOMO connection. Please allow me few minutes to explain with an example of how the charging takes place for the calls. You disconnected your call and your phone clock shows the call duration of 1 minute 20 seconds. The clock on your phone acts like a stop watch and although you have disconnected the call, it takes a few seconds for the message of disconnection to reach the network from where the call is actually disconnected. This is a case with all telecom service providers and not specific to TATA DOCOMO.                                       I have taken tata docomo postpaid sim 3 months back. It was working fine with some network problem till today afternoon. Suddenly it stopped working in the evening(when i make calls it any mobile it says check the number). When i called the customercare center, they told me that tata docomo is not compatible with my handset(NOKIA 1100) after the latest update from their side. They asked me to change my handset. I was shocked and asked them, what if they do another update and stop supporting the new handset? Their customer care executives are very dumb and say they can't help me. Worst thing is they supported this handset for 3 months and suddenly stopped supporting it from today. There was no intimation about it to me either through mail or message. I am unable to stop myself laughing looking at their suggestion to change handset.                                       I’m using DOCOMO prepaid, at the time of connection the dealer told me that it’s 1p/s for all calls (local & national) always.
                                      Now when I noticed that it is more than 1p/sec, I called customer care they told that 1p/sec is only for 450 mins in a month for STD calls and I have utilized that.
                                      Now it’s 2p/sec they are charging.
                                      This condition was not mentioned on the brochure and the dealer has not informed me about that.

                                      Hi, I have applied for a post paid connection and the No is [protected], which has been activated after 1 week after the address verification happened, and then disconnected saying the address verification was wrong and lodged a complaint on calling customer care and they say your address is not matched, for this i informed them that the verification has happened and still the issue is wrong address, though i gave 3 different copies as address proof ( Rental agreement, company HR letter, and the airtel Broadband bill ), still they say its wrong address as they have manually wiped off the complete colony name in the address part and instead of mentiopning Vigneshawara street they wrote cigneshwara street, by which the problem raised.
                                      When i told them the information was entered wrongly though i gave the address proofs no resolution was happened and its been more than a month no is not activated yet which is a on Tata Docomo part.
                                      IF the management relies on the manual data entered then why in the hell they require address proofs which has the printed address visible clearly.
                                      I called in the customer care [protected] for bangalore a thousand times and till now i dont hear back from them, as they keep on saying we will escalate the issue and you will receive a call back soon with in 48 hrs which is a total Lie.
                                      So Tata docomo guys please activate my no ASAP else give my money (security deposit) of 300 rs back.
                                      i also called in the escalation department nos [protected] and [protected] and receive the same response from them.

                                      this is srinivas i am using tatadocomo for many years and I was very happy with the service and have many of my friends to go for it . but recently I have found this docomo very very worst they are just deducting my balance for the services which I never opted for this had happened for more than 3 times and when ever I call up this customer care they never care for that and they just say they are helpless they are hopeless. I want to know can any one help me how to complaint and I just do not any other customer to get in trouble like me in future. u can call me at [protected]

                                      and 30 rupees deducted from my account autometically..
                                      plz solve this and return my balance for which i sall be oblised..

                                      I HAVE PURCHASE ONE TATA DOCOME SIM CARD AFTER ONE WEEK MY OUT GOING CALLS BLOCKED.i HAVE ASKING CUSTOMER CARE, THEY ARE SIMPLY SAYING DOCUMENT (ID PROOF) PENDING.BUT I HAVE SUBMITTED TODAY ALSO.BUT NOT RE-ACTIVATED TILL NOW.SO PLEASE CONVEY CONCERNED DEPT AND SOLVE IMMEDIATELY.
                                      OTHERWISE I WILL PURCHASE ANOTHER SIM.

                                        I recently bought the new TATA DOCOMO sim.but with in 3 days I changed sim card back to my Airtel number.

                                        Signal is very very very poooor. even in center city also im not getting signal properly....
