Frustated, Fed Up & Annoyed with the services of Tata Docomo Customer Support Team. Probably the worst Telecom operator in India.

After having 7 months of long discussion with Tata DoCoMo Customer Care team regarding wrong billing issues, I have to write the complaint here for my Tata Docomo Postpaid Mobile Number:- [protected].

On 22nd February 2017, a Customer Care Executive from Tata Docomo called up & asked me to settle my billing issues. He offered me a Goodwill waiver on my billing amount & asked me to settle the remaining amount. Then he promised to activate my services within 48 hours.

I have paid/cleared the remaining outstanding within the same hour.

72 hours passed by, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 4 months. Still the services were barred on my number.

Did a lot of follow up with Customer care through Phone and email(on [protected]@tatadocomo.com) & to appellate authority too.

Now they are saying your number is Disconnected. They disconnected my number without informing me.

Now they are saying Services can't be restored on your number as it got disconnected. Pathetic service.

I have to choose this channel when all other mediums got failed.

    This company is anyhow not proving my porting no. of my mob. no. [protected], as i am trying since yesterday evening, each and every time when i make a call to cutomer care, they made different excues everytime. even its not going easier to make either a call to customer care or to get my porting no. through sms. it has been at least 15 times that i tried to get my porting no. through sms and everytime it failed, and at least 25 to 30 times that i tried to make call to customer care but i succeded only three times.

      I am TataDocomo Broadband customer. From June month i have been facing issue with connect down for 20days and slow speed i have raise the issue many time but there was not proper support from Customer care. My net was not working but still they have send me Bill for June month when i have raise this thing to customer support. They ask me to wait as they were looking into this issue. This issue is not yet resolve they have cut my connection on 3rd July. and send me Bill for July inclusive of June Bill. I have written Many time to TataDocomo but they havent took any action.. I am providing Ticket number here. My Tatadocomo account number is[protected] Ticket number is[protected],[protected],[protected]. Now there agent calling me n abusing me giving mental stress. Only this i am not understanding with providing Service how can any ask money from Customer

        I have been using DOCOMO Sim with mobile number [protected] over 7 years, now my sim card is not detected by any phone for last two days. I have checked with 3 - 4 phones. My sim was registered in Tamilnadu circle and Now I am in Allahabad UP. Can you clarify what could be the problem with sim. I have called customer care they are not given proper answer and they said sim is in active state only. I am using only this sim card and as I mentioned I have used this number over 7 years. The customer care people says, only way is deactivate the sim and have to get new sim from Tamilnadu only. Please understand my problem I am working in Allahabad which is in UP and I am not able go tamilnadu for 4 months. Can you clarify what could be the problem and how can I get activate my same number.

          It was bad experience from the beginning of this card was made an attempt to sale,

          a. The agency lied about the credit limit of 5, 00, 000 lakhs
          b. Told 4000 Rs vouchers are being given with out a charge
          c. When raised complaint none othe TATA card official supported to give clarity

          Its very disheartening that a brand like TATA & SBI has such process, when the agency gave no clarity on the above, how could a consumer be charged for no usage of card nor vouchers, When this ageing contacted me they i clearly had said that i am using hdfc card which i am very satisfied, who charges me annually 500, with credit limit of 60k, but this person gave complete false information about high credit limit and also didnt say word about annual charge of 4000 which is re-dimmed as gift vouchers

          If any senior management is going through this, Transparency is best way to sell product, which is very clear neither the TATA CARD team doesn't has

          Why would a consumer purchase a credit card with so much charges and lower credit limit when i have a card whose team sit to support the consumers

          Seriously I would never prefer a Brand Like this in life, Horrible

            Hi,

            Myself Ashirwad Halgekar subscribed to Mobile number [protected] of Tata Docomo network, I have recharged of Rs. 249 plan of 1gb per day for 28 days. The net was working well for past 15 days. But since last night i.e. is 9-aug-2017 from 00:15 am the​ 3g speed is too slow it's between 6ks/s to 13kb/s when I complained it to the customer executive she asked me to clear cache and reset the phone, and save the 3g net settings again, I have followed all her instructions but still the net is too slow so wrote an email to [protected]@tatadocomo.com complaining about the same, they took all the details about access point name, handset model, address, pincode, and are saying the issue will be resolved, Couple of hours later their customer care executive calls and says to change the network mode to wcdma, did the same but still I get 2g speed and the unused data will not be carry forward for the next day, after that there was no response from Docomo team, due slow network I haven't consumed the outstanding data of 764mb . This issue was happening everyday after 11pm they were slowing down the network to 2g speed and the unused data was expired, now they are did it for whole day. This cause a loss of remaining data balance on daily basis. The issue hasn't been resolved yet, Hence I request the Tata Docomo to credit my outstanding data of 764mb for the next day which is being unused due to slow network and solve the network issue.

            Hi,
            Issue hasn't been resolved yet, due to which there was loss of data of 595mb, still there is no call or mail reply from Tata Docomo team. This is a fraud practice followed by Docomo. I need this total unconsumed data refund.

            Hi team,

            Its since 5 days, the network issue problem is isn't solved yet. As it was promised that it will resolved till 11 August, 19:02, the last call I received was on 11 August, this executive says "There is a 2g pack activated on my number some 9mb is remaining he will fix this by tomorrow evening" something #### I didn't understood anything out of it.

            Still the issue hasn't been resolved nor I received any mail from Tata Docomo team, this shows how much concerned they are towards customers, and it's a waste of time to talk to their customer executives. I want all the data which was unconsumed around 2gb to be refunded was caused due to network issue.

                Hi,
                I am registered as prepaid customer of tata docomo by number [protected].
                I have recharged for rs. 310 on 6-8-2017. My data plan was about to expire on 6-8-2017. So at 7-8-2017 near around 12:10 am when i tried to activate my new data plan from my main balance i got message that you have insufficient balance.
                So i called at customer care to know where my balance was deducted, after listening to my problem they cut the call. I was unable to contact them as they don't have waiting system for customer on call.
                I mailed them regarding the issue but didn't got any response from them.
                Since 7-8-2017 i tried calling at customer care for more than 100 times but unable to contact them. Once i got connected, but again the guy attended my call & listened my problem said - let me check and he cut the call.
                I want deducted amount to be credited in my account.

                Problem is not resolved yet. The guy's who called me was asking my bank debit card number to credit deducted amount in my bank account.
                If company has deducted balance from my mobile balance so it should be refunded in that only.

                    Hi team,

                    I am using docomo postpaid number since 8 years and now that i am in foreign country, would like to put my number in safe custody for few months.

                    As i am unable to go to any docomo store, emailed [protected]@tatadocomo.com request for the same. But they denied and confirmed that they can't do it for karnataka circle.
                    This is surprising and annoying, i would like to continue with your service and keep the connection ongoing and not to pay money when it is not been used.
                    However, i may be requiring connection once i am in india.
                    It would be great if you can help me with this option activated. I am paying full amount every month without the service usage.

                        This is very unfortunate that tata group is doing this. I had purchased a postpaid connection ([protected]) from tata docomo. They generated a false bill of 4000 without listening to me and now they are calling and threatening my friends and relatives from my dialed list. Why to pay the bill if the amount is not actual? I have decided not to pay now until unless i found that # who is calling regularly.

                        When the service is not available why should one pay and get the missed call alerts. Already charges are heavy, upon it you charge so much. Either provide a better service or stop looting money for customers.

                          Last time i recharged my no. [protected] by rs.85 but recharged wasn't done from tatadocomo firm, so i inquired tata docomo agent he said money is refunded but i inquired to my sbi account bank from which money is deducted, sbi said money hasn't been refunded.
                          I contacted both tata docomo and sbi firm two times but reply was same as above. For your referance bank statement is attached.
                          I hope you consider my complaint and take legal action on it.

                            Hi,
                            I am very much disappointed with tata docomo service. My contact number is [protected]. I activate call baring facility but i forgot my barring password. My out going call had been barred. I have submitted all documents & buy new sim from service center.

                            Then also i m not able to make outgoing calls & sms, every day i am calling to customer care but i am not getting any resolution. Every time they tell within 24 hour it will be activated.

                            Its showing call barring. Customer told me to go to retailer shop.
                            So many times i went to retailer shop, they have called/sent email to customer care.
                            Then also my problem is not resolved. Still i am facing problem. Not able to make out going. I guess its a technical problem. They are not forwarding my call to technical department.

                            When ever i call customer care is they telling that, my out going call is activated. But still i m facing problem. I want a permanent solution.

                                Dear team,
                                I am having some serious complaint against tata docomo,
                                My number is [protected] registered in the name of rupalben upadhyay.
                                They have just closed the number without any information and their behaviour is just not acceptable
                                I have started coordinating with them from 22/07/2017 on facebook but after 5 days they said to call customer care
                                Then i wrote a complaint on their website but i can't understand that nobody can understand the issue what i am facing they all have got the different answer for the sim closure.

                                They are giving two reasons but both are invalid.

                                1.) bill is due: amt: 148 rs, billing period 25/05/17 to 24/06/17, due date: 14/072017. They have closed the number on 26/06/17 i mean how is this possible that before due date your number gets closed

                                2.) request on phone: they are saying that they received the request on call for closure of sim..in this scenario how the company can close the number without having signature and the documents of the customer that is just not possible if one can not take the new connection without the kyc then the closure of sim is next to impossible

                                Initially, the number was from vodafone (Postpaid) and is almost 13 years old or may be more, then i gave a request for portability to tata docomo because one of my family suggested it so i tried but then they are having some bogus staff and bogus policy because they are not having a valid answer for this problem.
                                The backend team is suggesting to visit the nearest centre and when we visited then the staff says you have to contact vodafone.
                                I mean what is the logic! Now i am docomo customer then who is answerable of-course tata docomo, not vodafone.
                                And also i would like to attach some chats so that your team can have a look at my past statement in vodafone & docomo. There is never due bill for any month and for 148 rs. Who will not pay and will lose so old number i hope one can understand the problem of losing the number which is so old and then there is no scope of contacting again on that number.

                                This is my sincere request towards the consumer complaint team to help me out of this issue because tata docomo company is least interested in their existing client complain.

But then i was willing to change it into prepaid connection as i am not in india so personally i was not able to visit store but then somehow we dont have any idea that how that number has closed without any request given by me and also i have not received any intimation on my mail address inspite of giving the instruction that i would require every single detail on my mail..

                                Lastly i would request to give me some proof how this number has been closed and also the closure date.

                                I want this information that is it really valid that if somebody talks on phone and gives the request of closure then is it really accepted?? Then this is something not valid i guess without signature nobody can purchase the number or close the number
                                And before your mail somebody named junaid had provided wrong information that because of the bill dues it has been disconnected and furthermore would like to say that we have already visited your customer center in ahmedabad they are saying that we have to go to vodafone for this issue..
                                So you know because of your misguided staff members we customers face a huge problem..

We would like to inform you that upon verifying our records we have found that on 10-JUN-2017 around 01:37 pm the concerned team from Tata Docomo had called on your personal number [protected] spoked with Mr. Rupal Ben Upadhyay, Mr. Upadhyay had given confirmation over the call to terminate the connection because there is no more usage. Kindly please check the reference number[protected] of Cancellation.

                                The cancellation process is as follows:
                                All services will be barred on the 7th day from the date of request registration and billing on the cancelled number would stop.
                                The number will get permanently disconnected on the 16th day from the day of request registration.

                                  Hi, i am using tata docmo network. There is no network in many areas. I am missing so many calls daily, every time i change location, i will get a message that i have sum number of missed calls to get the missed call information again i have to send request.
                                  Due to network issue my calls being missed and getting missed call information i have to pay for message.

                                    I have a photon+ connection. I filed a complain to disconnect the number on 31.7.2017.                                         We request you to visit the Tata Docomo outlet with passport size photograph along with your proof of identity and proof of address to purchase Nano SIM with same number. Balance will be carried forwarded to Nano SIM. Please find the below details. 1. 1 Photograph. 2. Proof Of Identity - Passport, Photo Credit Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Arms license. 3. Proof of Address - Credit card statement (last 2 months), Passport, Property Tax Receipt, BSNL Telephone/Electricity Bill (last 2 months).
