I am Aravind, my phone number is [protected]. I can't send sms to a particular number which is also having Tata Docomo as carrier. I can send sms to other numbers. I contacted the customer care and they said that it will be solved in 4 hours from the date of call (16-August-2014) but still after 9 hours the same problem persists. Please solve this problem as soon as possible.

I would like to inform you that, kindly reset your handset and select the network operator manually as Tata Docomo. However follow the below procedure to avoid the problem:

1) Go to: Main Menu > Message > Message Settings

3) In Reply via same center """"NO""""
4) In Reply via choose 'Text'

However, if you still face the problem for outgoing SMS dial #33*1234#.

    I was user of Tata docomo GSM mobile no ([protected]) and sent a proper request to disconnect the services in month on 9- April-2014 by email, which has been accepted by them by a written mail on 9'th Apr itself and they mentioned my number will be disconnected within 15 days. They also mentioned there is no due from my side. However instead of disconnecting they continued generating bills and I kept on sending them mails mentioning not to generate bills as I have already requested for disconnection. Finally they disconnected in month of June and now demanding Rs 1200 payment from me, they are not at all listening to my replies, there collection guys calling and threatening me whenever they want and they are also threatening me for legal actions.
    I have heard from many of my colleagues and friends about horrible practices from Tata Docomo and there tricks to extort money and harassment, now I am also another victim of same.
    I request to all the people to please do not ever purchase any product from Tata Docomo, they are simply horrible and doing day light robbery.

    Is this issue is closed ? I have already communicated with [protected]@tatadocomo.com many times and they are not listening at all. Please find enclosed acknowledgement of deactivation request and let me know why you keep on generating and sending bills even after deactivation request and your recovery guys are keep calling and there are mails threatening legal actions ?

      i want to get back my money from mydala. I dont even know about the mydala, and dont know how to use that vouchers too. how could i get money back.? Tata docomo does not clearly mention the charge amount for the service. They simply use the word tollfree. but when we call they charged the amount from balance. that's how i lost 20rs from my main balance/.. and the main thing is they do not attend the customer call.. always tell, the "lines are busy, please try after sometime". i just called 121 for more than 5 times. but they din't give response till now.

        Hi, My name is Vijay kumar and my docomo number is [protected]. I bought a tata docomo sim card after submitting my address proof, id proof and photo. I have lost my number now and I want to deactivate the old number to get new number. The issue is customer care guys are saying that the number is not in my name. I am pretty sure that the number is in my name. I am not sure how to verify this as customer care won't provide any other information. Please help.

        Q1) I submitted my docs to dealer. What if dealer has submitted someone else's documents? (I know it is little strict now. I am talking about buying a SIM 15 months ago)

        Q2) The bottom line is, I want either block the SIM card or order a duplicate SIM. How will I do it if I don't know in whose name the documents are entered?

        Q3) I am just afraid as the SIM card can be mis-used. I hope you understand.

          I would like to raise several complaints on Docomo network. But I will simply list the worst ones below: 1. Really Bad Network: A good example for this would be that my friends sitting next to me were receiving phone not reachable error while trying to give me a miss call(for saving phone number). But my phone showed full 3G network. This was in Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore. Another worst case was the call getting disconnected for no reason in between conversation, on more than 5 occasions while calling different people during different locations. 2. Really Bad DND Service: I was getting repeated postpaid offer calls from Docomo and I activated DND service for Telecommunications. The next week I got an offer call everyday till the date when the DND was actually activated. Even after activation I kept receiving offer calls(once from Idea!!) and I raised a complaint to Docomo(complaint ID- PSR[protected]). They simply said that the issue has been solved without any explanation for the reason. This happened 3 times in a row and each time when I raised the complain they simply said the issue has been solved. It has happened more than 3 times since then(total 6+ times) and since I did not know how to escalate the complaint, I left it as it is. The latest offer call I received was from [protected] on 14th August. Docomo network and service has been the worst from past one year and they still don't have plans to improve their service even after receiving so many complaints.

          I was busy at work which is why you the call was unanswered. I tried calling back but it did not connect. I have provided my email address while raising the complaint (PSR[protected]). Please contact me through email. I refrain from providing my email address here since it is a public forum.

          I know it is activated because I activated it myself. My question was why I was still receiving offer calls for postpaid connection. You still have no answer for this or you are deliberately trying to escape from it. I mentioned that I received offer call from [protected] on 14th August. But you ignored that question. If you check the complaint history you will see that I raised the complaint 3 times after DND had been activated. And the drama still repeats!

          I have not raised any request for postpaid. Where did you get such an idea??!!
          Maybe you didn't understand my question. I am receiving calls from your customer care team about your postpaid plans, asking me to switch to postpaid. In short, offer calls for postpaid connection.


          I will try the solution for network issue and let you know if I still have any issues. Meanwhile I would like any answer to the above mentioned DND problem.

          As per the above statement you already confirmed in your previous reply that DND is activated on my number. And yet once again I received an offer call from you guys.

          Do you take your services seriously?
          Do you really care about your customers, at all?
          After Ram Kumar from the appellate authority of Karnataka closed my complaint on 7th October 2014 I had not been getting any calls and was planning to give a good word for Docomo here. But yesterday I got another promotional call and I raised it to the appellate authority again.

          This time the appellate guys acted as if it was the first time I had raised such a complaint and closed of the case mentioning that my DND has been customized from partial to complete. I have now raised the case with TRAI. I hope they will help me.

          I thought DND was a barrier for marketing. But now I know that Docomo marketing has no barriers :(

            Good Morning Sir, Myself Thejaswi, living in Mandya city of Karnataka state. My Mobile Number is [protected] and I was using this number from past 8 years in Idea network. But because of poor network quality and no attractive 3G data plans from Idea, I ported to Tata Docomo as they had launched 3G network recently in my city. Butvfrom day one, am facing worst 3G network quality. Even am not getting one point network also in indoor. And these Tata Docomo people are cheating costumers by deducting huge amount for data usage even the customer having 5-6MB data pack balance. Also they are not providing to have double data packs. If i had activated 1GB 3G data pack, i am not able to activate another data packs of 2G or 3G at the same time. Other all network providers are giving this service except Tata Docomo.               Dear Sir/Madam, I'm Sivakumar from chennai, using Tata Photon Max Wifi (Photon number: [protected]) post paid. From the day one of activation, i'm facing frequent network and wifi disconnection and speed is very very slow (promised to give 6.2 Mbps but what i got is only 0.27 Mbps). I have raised a complaint for this issue on 2-Jul-2014 and the complaint number is[protected]. I have contacted the customer care through lots of phone calls, lots of emails (to [protected]@tatadocomo.com, appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com) and even through chat but till now no resolution was given to me. In my experience with docomo, i came to know that they will simply close the complaint without any resolution and if we call and ask the customer care they will create a new complaint number. To my knowledge, following are the complaint numbers[protected]closed without resolution),[protected]closed without resolution),[protected]closed without resolution),[protected]closed without resolution),[protected]newly created now) created and closed so far for the same issue. After contacting these many times, they have started saying that there is a network issue in your area which cannot be solved right now. If you want you can change your plan to a minimum pre-paid and keep the device alive for 2 or 3 months until the issue is resolved. I don't understand how they are giving such an irresponsible reply. why did they sell the device to me even after knowing that there is a strong network issue in my area? why should i lose and waste my money for such a worst service? If i ask for refund of my money spent for the device and bills paid so far, they are simply telling that, there is no option for refund. Now i'm planning to take legal actions against them by filling a case in consumer court. My sincere advice to all consumers is, please don't waste your time and money by choosing this forgery company. Regards, Sivakumar

                I recharged from a retailer Rs.250/- 3G combo pack and paid Rs. 250/- I started net and make a call then balance shows Rs.95/- Then I asked the retailer why It is like this? He told me that you received message of successful recharge, then they have role call customer care. I contacted customer care they told me that the way of recharge is wrong. If it is wrong customer care cannot do anything to make it correct. From this what I understood is Tata Docomo and retailer collectively cheating their customers.

                  first of all they cut my balance 83 ruppes for recieving 4-5 e-mail in my phone and told i use youtube but i didn't. after that costumer care executive told i use google but also i didn't use. i recieve only e-mail and i don't think tat it will charge 83 rupee. and 2nd when i called costumer care executive named 'sunaina kumari', she cut my phone so that i couldn't talk again to costumer care executive from my number. i want my money back and to take strict action against that executive whose name i mentioned above.

                    When i went to tata docomo store near lal bahadur stadium, nampally, hyderabad.
                    They said that they will not recharge rs.38 or some other recharges which are not round figures.They said that go and recharge outside the store.
                    So, now in my point of view what is the need to have stores, we can recharge online, and why those people said that go and recharge outside the store.They have to provide the recharge facilities all denominations which are in the recharge vouchers.

                      The reason I switched from BSNL to Internet was I expected better Speed and best connectivity!!

                      I am having the most difficult time with TATA from day 1.

                      They come up with new excuses every day, promise me to send an engineer to fix the issue and then no body comes for days. When someone does, they just tell me that another engineer will come to fix as "I dont have expertise" and ask me to sign a document which says "Internet Tested No fault found"

                      On one occassion, they made me wait in office for hours on a weekend and nobody came.

                      TATA ILL connection and support team has been a nightmare for me and my business.

                      I have been sending them requests for cancellation but no one even bother to respond.

                      I really do not have time and power to type everything all over again, but I shall attach an image and paste most recent conversation i had with TATA support staff, corporate office and engineers..

                      I was promised an engineer on Friday.I spoke to you on Saturday.Its monday today.!!!I want to know what time you are sending the engineer to replace the device.

                      Only 1 computer is using FTP to connect to server.
                      All other computers (5-6) are only using normal Internet connection.Still the net goes down every few minutes..Please get me a permanent solution or at least have an engineer come to my office and look into it.

                      Engineer (Mr. Amit Prajapati, Purva Enterprise ) has finally come to my office.He did all his tests and according to him, there is some problem with the POE device which needs to be replaced.

                      I was told this same thing a couple of weeks ago and promised to replace but POE deivce which has still not happened.Now I am being told that a UBR person will visit and fix this issue.I want you all to understand that the delay is causing major loss to to my business.

                      One more update..The net got disconnected 2 times in his presence. Mr. Amit Prajapati from Purva Enterprise explained how this could be because of the faulty POE device.

                      and then before leaving my office, he asked me to sign a piece of paper which says:Problem Reported: Not Connecting (Wrong, the problem is link going up and down repeatedly )

                      Problem Observed: No Fault Found ( Wrong, he just stated the POE device is faulty and might require a replace???)Action Taken: Tested Ok ( No.. Wrong.. He was here and it got disconnected in his presence.. how is that tested ok ?? )

                      I did not sign this document as the problem is still not resolved!!I am posting this entire episode on Customer Forum shortly and wil send you all a screenshot.

                      Again to Mr. Jata and TeamAs usual.. You guys didnot send an engineer today either..
                      This is the point where i get really abusive but no point of doing that either becuase you people are shameless...
                      I spoke to corporate office to someone called Arun and i
                      was promised since the poe could be defective.. An engineer would be
                      sent to replace or fix it by today itself.
                      I made it very clear on the call that if it is not sorted today i am canceling tata ILL.
                      So you can cobsider this as my official request to process the cancellation.

                        I had taken a 3G connection from DOCOMO on November 2013. Their marketing person Mr. Milind (contact no. [protected]) gave me a corporate offer of 800 Rs. for 3 months Unlimited plan. He said its a connection for 3 months and you can renew the same plan after 3 months if you want. I paid him 800 Rs. and bought the sim card. He did not gave me any form to fill personal or plan information. When asked about the form he told me to sms the my details to his number and he will fill the form. I used the connection for 3 months. After 3 months the connection was terminated automatically and I was not able to connect to the service. I never used the connection after February 2014. Still I kept receiving emails and calls from DOCOMO regarding payments. I kept telling that I'm not using the connection but they said the connection is active and I'll need to pay 1600 Rs. for disconnection before 6 months. This was really a mental torture to me. On 17th July 2014 I received a call from someone who told her name as Ashwini Shinde (contact no [protected]) asking for payment of due amount. I told her the whole story about how the marketing guy gave me wrong information and that I'm not using connection at all. She kept begging me for making payment of minimum 1500 Rs and then the connection will be closed permanently and I'll never receive any calls from DOCOMO again. I just wanted to stop this mental torture from DOCOMO, so decided to make the payment of Rs. 1500 online (transaction number MCMP[protected]). She even said I'll get an email regarding full and final payment on my email id which I never received. When I called back on that number she said "I've sent mail to everyone, how did you not receive?". Some days later again I called regarding the mail, she said there is no such person called Ashiwini Shinde working here. The lady sounds fraud to me and only assigned a job of fooling people and getting money from them. I have already paid 1500 Rs for service I never used. But still I'm getting messages and calls from DOCOMO about due amount. I dont know when this harassment will stop from DOCOMO.                           Thank you for your earlier responses. Though your good officers assured that the issue will be resolved, it is not resolved. moreover the I have been asked to contact the nearby outlet, I have contacted the outlet at Thambu Chetty Street, Chennai and I have furnished a passport size photo, a form requesting change the plan from postpaid to prepaid and ID proof, later I have been informed that the no complaint was registered. Your good officers very well know that after my complaint only your good officers responded to resolve the issue but the customer care's question of my registering a complaint is ridiculous. I know your people are not interested in changing the plan from postpaid to prepaid. I therefore request your good officers to kindly see my postpaid plan is changed to prepaid so that I can enjoy my surfing without fuss and oblige. I hope your good officers will get good star instead of bad stars.

                            Dear Respected sir, Madam i am a retailer of Tata Docomo And my Evd No.is-[protected] i was made recharge transactions for customer no.s nearby Rs.2500 above in last(july) month and continuously in this month also with new activations but


                            i have not received EVD Demo plan benifits like Tata 2 Tata calling 200Min.+500Mb2G_Data+all local and national calling+SMS benifits in my accuont, every retailers has
                            credited his benifits in their accounts on 23rdJuly-14, in that case i was
                            contact to my salesTeam but there is no help to me so that,
                            i was contact on 127343Dealer helpdesk Reguarding the issue so many times, but unfortunately every senier exetitives has no help to me and everyone has adviced to me that,
                            "sorry we can't help you, if your saleTeam isn't help to you"you may escalate your mail as ur own to [protected]@tatadocomo.com"
                            last time i was call on 89July-14 1.00pm from my Reg.EVD MDN-[protected].
                            hope you will post me that benifits which is not credited in my account as possible as soon and you don't refer to may any other way.also i can't received customer new products launch updates like
                            new recharges, frc, gprs plans, etc.which is newly introduced in market to my EVD Demo no.[protected] via sms plz solve_
                            sir reguarding that issue i feel that senier exititives want to take my request/complaint for same issue but they all neglect to me.

                                I have paid for 3G network and has been happy with it and suddenly now there is no 3g available just within one kilometer of Technopark, Kerala, where i stay. I have tried to contact them but their website is not letting me register a complaint only !!! This is ridiculous and unforgivable as they have already promised and charged for 3G.

                                    I have recharged my mobile [protected] with Rs.149/- through Tata Docomo website on 24th July. In their website they stated that they will give 2.5GB 2G Data for 30 days. But they provided only 2GB for 28 days. Okay I convinced when verified with other operators tariff. But Tata Docomo is cheated me cruelly. Because only on 24th I was able to connect to the net from my area i.e.e kothagudem Main Hospital area. and 2 hours on 25th July. then the problem was started. It is not at all connecting from any mobile or data modem. every time I am calling the customer care, they are charging 0.50ps for every call and repeating same words " PLEASE WAIT 4 HOURS. AND THEN SWITCH OFF YOUR MOBILE AND SWITCH IT ON BACK. IT WILL BE CONNECTED". It is a false answer and it is not at all connecting. please take a necessary action and ask them to provide data or money back.

                                      In Bangalore Tata DoCoMo sales agent provide wrong details on Carry Forward plans and after billing cycle company will give you a long billed which not at all carry forward . . So don't use carry forward plan . . i[censored] r taking then take from Tata DoCoMo center, cause their sales agents are showing wrong details personally Suggest you, Dont go for Tata Docomo..it is a worst
