[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Force activation of VAS services

Very bad experience with Tata docomo VAS services. Repeated requests to deactivate these services but still it gets activated again & again. Even after their agents confirming that these services are deactivated they get activated again. They refunded the amount but initially was putting blame back on me. However the auto activations continued, it looked like they do not have control over their systems. Shocking part is that they suspended these VAS services for 90 days but still it got activated after couple of days. I lost Rs 48 because of Endless music auto activation which they refused to refund the amount instead gave me a rubbish reason that my data usage was heavy, this was a crazy joke because I had data balance of 800mb in spite of that they deducted my voice balance is this not a crazy reason? They never gave me logs of my usage and were telling I double confirmed the activations when I've not confirmed even once. Even now their computer is waiting for me to recharge so that they can deduct it again either for their useless endless music or call me tune services. Not recharging anymore and looking for good and trustworthy alternatives.

I would not want to reveal the number as there was no use emailing and speaking to the support teams of TataDocomo.

I've posted my experience here because I wanted to help others in choosing the right connection and not get duped by these forced VAS service activation and loose their money.

The real procedure to activate any service is you request the customer to phone/sms TataDocomo but what is happening here is TataDocomo sends activation SMSs and requests its customer to deactivate if they want by sending a message or calling the XYZ number, what sort of procedure is this?

How on earth these guys can activate a lame song for Callme tune and then blame us that "you've activated it"? This is the height of telecom dictatorship I assume.

TRAI should seriously investigate this type of money making tricks used by these operators and save the customers.
