    Hi,

    I had purchased Tata DoCoMo Photon Plus USB dongle 7th July 2014 and have been battling with speed issues. Their minimum speed is advertised as 512 Kbps and maximum as 60 Mbps. So an average speed assumed to be well between 20-30 Mbps. I know that in India such speeds are never realised. I expect at-least 1 MBps. But it is merely 512 Kbps which is not fulfilling my expectations. I need at-least 1 MBps which I made clear, at the time of purchase to the retailer and he promised that it will provide such speed.

    DoCoMo Complaint Status: Resolved from DoCoMo with response that "number o[censored]sers in your area are high and hence you will always have issue getting more speed (more that the minimum we promised)"

    I took this device for my office use where I need to connect to my office machine over remote connection. This demands minimum 1 MBps speed. So disappointed with the slowness, I called Tata Photon DoCoMo customer care expecting some improvement in service.. Only to hear the response that

    "Number of DoCoMo users in your area are high and hence you will always have issue getting more that the minimum speed we promised"... (these are their exact words!!!)

    I am feeling angry, disappointed & cheated now because if you are selling a dongle at Rs. 1500 /- and a pack of Rs. 999 /- advertised as "Wifi Data Card" with "Superior Modem Speeds" and on back cover if you claim "High speed Internet Access" you are cheating the consumer with false promises.

    I have not purchased a device & service totally of Rs. 2500/- to just TEST the speed and stay content with the fact that my area has so many "satisfied" photon users that all o[censored]s get a penny of service & speed for thousands of rupees I pay.

    I condemn this forgery and loot and expect my total dongle money back. Fortunately I purchased a post paid connection and hence will be getting a bill by 2nd of next month which I am not going to pay!

    So I sincerely hope consumer complaints forum takes this complain request further to DoCoMo guys.

      In my Tata Docomo prepaid no. 3G data balance was remain but on 9 july during browsing they cut Rs 192.20 from my main balance and a message display that you have only Rs 0.06 in my prepaid mobile no. But when I checked my 3G data balance it showed that still I have 6mb 3G data in my prepaid no. And when I call customer care they promised me to refund my debited Rs 192.20 in 24 hrs but debited balance is not refunded from more than 48 hrs and when I call third time to customer care. She said amount will not be refunded. Worst service and its totally fraud and loot... Dont go for Tata Docomo...By lalittyagi.[protected]@gmail.com.. Help me to refund my 192 Rs.

          Hi,

          My name is Vipin Kumar, I am using Tata photon Post paid Data Card
          number [protected] since 4 Years . My service location is Delhi/NCR .

          From last two months I am facing a huge service disruption problem
          like once I am logging into the system I have to wait for hours and
          hours but the site is not accessable, regarding which I have also
          lodged 2-3 complaints in between but sorry to say someone has
          attended the call and telephonically informed me that they have
          certain issues in my area and my problem cannot be resolved .The
          surprising fact was that in the meantime he closed the complaint and
          informed that your problem is resolved.

          Then on 25th of June i talk with customer care, one girl agent attend
          my call advise my that there due to too much interruption we will
          provide you waiver of 60% but I would further like to inform you that
          I have got a bill massage from Tata Photon amounting to Rs 980.00 for
          2 months without any waiver . inspite of the fact that no service was
          provided by the tata Photon. Why will I pay the bill if no servicve is
          provided rather behaviour of the agent was rude. and on 5-Jul i got a
          call from Tata photon and some agent started threatening me and scold
          me that i will disconnect your service inspite of listen my
          problems.however now its working smoothly but i want 60% waiver in my
          previous bill as ethically it is not due on me. i am ready to pay
          balance amount. If you cant help me on this then i will have no other
          then knock the consumer court. I would hope for your positive
          response.

              Hence, I would like to inform you that

              The outgoing services of this number will be barred within 72 hours.
              Temporary disconnection will happen on the 7th day and the billing on the above mentioned connection would stop on the 7th day from the date of cancellation request registered.
              Your total outstanding amount till date is Rs. 618/-
              The number will get permanently disconnected within 15 days.
              Your billing cycle is 17th of every month, hence, you will receive final bill on prorate basis post disconnection.

                    Dear Tata Docomo I am using Tata Docomo no. +[protected] purely for 3G data plans in my mobile handset Lenovo A859 (android 4.2.2) I am facing a very strange and irritating problem with Tata Docomo Data Usage. The GPRS or 3G data keeps frequently connecting & disconnecting every minute depending upon the applications and my usage. But every time it disconnects I receive a service message popup on my screen about Data used and Balance in my plan. Some times I get 10 to 15 messages every minute of the day and also during Night. I have to keep pressing OK to close these popup messages. These messages are very annoying during day and night and cannot be disabled or muted by handset feature. It is a USSD message and can be disabled by service provider only. I was facing same problem with Idea SIM card also, however Idea have provided a USSD Code *121*46# to disable these unwanted popup messages of data used / balance. I am sure Tata Docomo must also be having a similar USSD code for disabling these messages. Request you to kindly disable this or give me the USSD short code which I can dial from handset.                       Dear Sir/Madam, I am a Tata Docomo user with mobile number [protected]. I have network issues in the area Padmanabhanagar Bangalore. There is no network bar at all in my mobile. Even if I get network, its hardly for 5 - 10 seconds and again there is no signal. Complaint number:[protected] I had raised a complaint on this issue and had got a call from the network department who had told me that the issue would be resolved in 3 days. The reason quoted by them was low signal and issue with the tower. They also assured me that they would increase the frequency of the tower and also install new tower within 3 months. Its been more than 15 days now and I still did not get the resolution. When I spoke to the call center (Floor supervisor at 8:30 PM today) that guy says, I need to wait for 3 months till the tower was installed and have to pay my bills for that 3 months. First you dont have the correct process, no trained agents, no option to talk to Manager. No option to escalate the case. Every time I called during this 15 days, 80% of the time I got the same response. Sir our system is down, please call back after 30 minutes. When I called today, The supervisor said the case was closed. How can you close the ticket without verifying the resolution. Please provide resolution, and compensation for the loss or else I would be happy to leave Docomo. Thanks and Regards Prashanth Singh [protected] [protected]

                          Dear Sir,
                          I am Nitin Gupta and My TATA Docomo number is [protected]. Rs 75 have been deducted from my balance at midnight 12:45 AM on 10thJuly 2014. I got a message from TA-HUWWAP stating that " I Player is activated atRs75.0 for 60days.Bal:Rs417.09 at 10-Jul-14 00:07.To stop, Dial or SMS STOP to155223(Free)" and Rs 75 was deducted. I have DND activated and I have not activated any such service by any means.
                          After the activation of the same, I complained on 198 at 12:53 AM on 10thJuly2014 and the customer care executive deactivated the service but told me that refund would not be done.
                          Kindly look into the matter and help me to get refund of my balance

                          I recently started using This sim. because it was suggested by my frd... it's good to become part of Docomo community. today i received message from TA-HUWWAI AND. THAT SHOWS THAT I HAVE CHARGED 28 rupees. i attached the photo that was easy to understand.

                          i didn't activate any sceam. it was activaret by company. i just want to tell u one thing that this was very bad thing for the company.

                          i hope u can understand what i want to tell u and pay attention on this matter. which was very bad for the company reputation.

                          I recently started using This sim. because it was suggested by my frd... it's good to become part of Docomo community. today i received message from TA-HUWWAI AND. THAT SHOWS THAT I HAVE CHARGED 28 rupees. i attached the photo that was easy to understand.

                          i didn't activate any sceam. it was activaret by company. i just want to tell u one thing that this was very bad thing for the company.

                          i hope u can understand what i want to tell u and pay attention on this matter. which was very bad for the company reputation.

                          I was browsing internet on 3G using my Tata-Docomo number. All of a sudden, I get a message from "TA-HUWWAP" that says some service has been activated in my mobile that I did not opt for in the first place.It says that I have been charged Rs. 75 for that service.

                          I called the customer care to get it deactivated immediately, but I did not get any refund.I want my money back.I am not going to pay for any service that I don't want in the first place.

                          As per the TRAI guidelines, there should be some process of taking a consent from the user in order to activate any such service, be it through WAP or SMS or IVRS etc. But I am quite positive I did not give my consent through any of these. How can they charge me for something that I dont want, without taking my consent.

I am surprised after realizing without my consent the service got started and starts deduct money. And most importantly the sms suggest if I do not send a SMS mentioning I do not need the service it will automatically deduct money on daily basis.

                          Neither I requested the service nor I know what is this al about. This purely a case of cheating. And I appreciate if proper action is been taken to stop the people getting harassed unnecessarily.

                            i am using mobile no is :-[protected](TATA DOCOMO). i was recharged for this No. for Rs.249 for 3GB Internet pack in 2G speed validity of 30days at the time and date is 7:56 PM, 03/07/2014.and i am using this service daily one day(10.03 AM, 09/07/2014) i was needed 3G speed Internet pack for the purpose of the en argent work then i was activated for Rs.24 plan for 150MB 3G data for 3days validity. at the time of activating this plan i was only got an activation SMS. before i activated this plan i had approximately 1.5GB previous recharge data ((recharged for Rs.249 for 3GB Internet pack in 2G speed validity of 30days at the time and date is 7:56 PM, 03/07/2014)) and i had more than Rs.100 in my main account.when i am using my150MB plan. i thought that after the completed this plan i will entered in to my previous 2G data plan(1.5GB) suddenly my has became zero balance account! i was shocked i didn't got any notification from the service provider about my previous plan.i loose my previous data and my main balance amount. After it happened i was called 198(Costumer complaint care) i explained the happened situation. He repeated and repeated so many times is the previous data plan will be expired when new one is activated, then i asked him that they have to inform about this condition before they are activated then he answered for that is it will never happens. finally i requested to him to refund my data and my amount, he didn't accepted for that. finally i asked him to transfer the call to his boss( supervisor). he answered for that there is nobody in office, he was repeated that so many times finally i became angry about him. after he transferred call to his supervisor. i was repeated to him same. he told me same like his Executive.finally i am not satisfied with their action. finally i was decided to give a complaint. iam requesting you please take action them.these type of instants can effects our life sometimes.

I requested Tata CC to upgrade my existing Tata Photon Max ([protected]) to Tata Photon Max WIFI and also upgrade my plan (Previous: [protected]@900 (Unlimited) to [protected]@1000 (Unlimited)). 2. They accepted the request and sent the executive with WiFi device at my home on Saturday. (BEfore sending the exec i got their confirmation that it will take only 2 hours for the activation. As i was on work from home that day, so needed internet connection at any cost and only after their confirmation i asked them to come on Saturday otherwise i had asked them to visit on Sunday earlier. 3. (5th July 2014, 1:30 PM) Exec took my older device and handed over me the WiFi he called up the Tata CC and requested for the activation and plan upgrade and asked me to check after 2 hours. 4. (5th July 2014, 5:00 PM) I called the Tata Photon CC and explained my situation and they said please wait for 2 more hours and device with new plan will be activated. 5. (5th July 2014, 7:00 PM) I called the Tata Photon CC and explained my situation and they said please wait for 2 more hours and device with new plan will be activated. I asked them that it already has crossed many 2 hours could you please expedite and raise the priority of this ticket. He told me that they have window of 2-24 hours and with in this window my issue will be resolved and they cant promise exact time and also he told me that there is no ticket priority kind of thing. 6. I was awake till mid night and then checked and as usual it didn't work then i called the CC back at 12:15 AM and got a new deadline of morning 9 AM (8 July). 15. I checked again at 9 and same (no activation.) Then i didn't call the CC and made my mind to move to some consumer forum. 16. I got a call from Tat Photon CC and this time person told me that the device has been activated and i can check the same. So when i checked it was blunt lie. 17. Called the HelpDesk and got new deadline as 9 July 11 AM. So i learnt that even the senior management in Tata is useless. They don't know what is customer service just occupying their seat as VP or Director and getting a big chuck of money which is earned by all wrong way by cheating the common people.                                 shocking post paid bill...
                                I was an average user of Tata docomo prepaid connection with a monthly recharge of Rs 1000 to 1500. Due to continuous offer calls from the tata docomo executives, I changed to post paid connection, expecting some monetary benefit. Along with that I activated a 3G internet plan of Rs. 149. The customer care executive provided an information that once the free data of 1GB is over, the internet speed will reduce to 2G, whereas there won't be any extra charges for net. The same was confirmed twice with the customer care executives.But I recieved a shocking monthly bill of Rs 3500. I believed that it might be a mistake in the bill & communicated to the tata docomo executives through written mails as well as phone calls. But the reply was a clarification in the bill concluding that the generated bill is correct, the mistake is with me that I didn't go through the terms and conditions of the plan in detail !!!
                                MY POINT IS
                                1) WHY A PERSON CALLING TO CUSTOMER CARE ? (ANS. TO GET THE CLEAR INFORMATION)
                                2) IF THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE MISGUIDES THE CUSTOMER, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE TO BEAR THE RESULTS?(I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE BASIC DUTY OF THE COMPANY TO MAKE AN ENQUIRY AT LEAST)
                                3) WHY CAN THE COMPANY OFFICIALS CHECK THE CALL RECORDS THAT THEY USED TO SAVE FOR 'QUALITY IMPROVEMENT' PURPOSE?(IF YOU ARE GENUINE IN DOING IT FOR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT, JUST DO IT)

                                Dear Sir, I am an Retired Defence Services Officer, Two
                                weeks back, one sales rep of TATA DOCOMO Mr Madasamy with mobile
                                number([protected]) approached me for marketing mobile and internet
                                connections. Based on his words, I agreed to do a mobile portability of
                                my BSNL post paid connection to tatadocomo 899 (unlimited
                                local+2G data plan). And was planning to take an internet dongle.
                                As per his advise, I paid him on 02 Jun 15, Rs 950 (Rs 850 deposit+Rs 50
                                for Sim + Rs 50 for protability charges). On the same day, the porting
                                UPC was taken (BT243433) and he noted the details. He collected the
                                filled application, Aadhar card copy, Ration card copy and photo. He
                                asked me to pay the left over BSNL bill till that date with additional
                                Rs 30 to BSNL office so that porting will be done by 5 days time.
                                Accordingly, I visited BSNL commerical office and paid the balance bill
                                with additional Rs 34 on 04 Jun 15 and informed them of my intended
                                porting to tatadocomo. They noted the same.On
                                05 Jun 15, Mr Madasamy gave me a new sim and told that, the old sim will
                                get de-activated and new sim will start working for next day. When I
                                asked for the bill for Rs 950. He told, it is in office and he will
                                handover to me on 06 Jun 15.Till date, neither
                                the old sim has got de-activated nor the new sim is activated. For the
                                last four days, Mr Madasamy is dodging in giving me the bill for Rs 950
                                and also he is not answering to my calls. After many unsuccessful
                                attempts, finally, Mr Madasamy answered my call today morning and he is
                                telling the he is away at his native and he is not in a position to tell
                                the status of mobile connectivity. Again tried Coimbatore office of
                                tatadocomo, no one is ready to listen to the issue.It
                                appears to me that, I am being cheated financially as well mentally.
                                Earlier on two occasions I had the experience of mobile number porting
                                at Delhi and Bangalore. I never faced such situations. Is this the norm
                                followed by your company and staff?Kindly
                                enquire into the issue and either instruct your coimbatore office to
                                return me the deposit Rs 950 or get the new connection activated and
                                provide me the bill for Rs 950/-. Because of
                                your company and unreliable staff, I struck with the situation of not
                                able to make calls from the existing BSNL number to avoid billing issue.When
                                approached your customer care, they are not taking any complaint
                                stating that the details are incomplete. Why this situation? If this is
                                the condition while taking the new connection, what will be the
                                condition in future?

                                On 12 Jun 15, One Ms Poornima called me and told that She is the Appellate authority at Chennai. When requested to her to explain what is the action taken and where is the problem. She don't have any answer. She don't have any resolution to the problem. She contacted me without any details. When asked her whether she has gone through the mail. Negative. She was feeling sorry to say that she is yet to go through the mail and the problem projected. When asked why a bill is not being provided to the cash payment of Rs 950. No reply Only thing she has to say is that she need three more days to check and come back.

                                For every ones information BE AWARE : This is the only company which is charging for Post paid Sim card, portability charge of Rs 50 and post paid activation charge and deposit. No bill will be provided. The reliability, authentic and Genuine Tata Service has vanished into thin air long back

                                Overall, In case I plan to port my number to TATA DOCOMO, I need to stop using my old mobile number for three weeks in order to get a confirmation that I may get portability or not. Then IF lucky may be moved to TATA DOCOMO
                                Hi I have a connection from your service and I was a happy customer till last week in Oct'15.

                                I have a wifi dongle and [protected] the service request number is[protected].

                                Now I had 2 girls calling me and following up on the complaint, they had no clue of how to handle customer issue and they just abruptly end the call when it came to a stage that they are done with all possible answers.

                                My system is very slow and it takes ages for the device to open a page.

                                I need an immediate action on this since I was promised that this is getting closed on the 8th and nothing is in place and I truly depend on your device to get my business move, If not resolved tomorrow then we are a lost customer to you for sure.

                                Dear Concerning officer,

                                I am one of the most un-satisfied customer and expecting some resolution to the problem I am facing.

                                My billing cycle is from 6 to 6th of each month and I subscribed to 5 GB plan. Since my connection activation till last month, my package data last fro around 27-30 days (experience of around 1 Yr). But this time the data exhausted in one day, which is beyond my acceptance. In this relation, contacted the customer care and got the reply that there is a problem in system and it is considering the uses of last month we will resolve the same. After that response, received a call from the officer and he informed that the data is being utilized. Despite of my justification that:

                                1. How one can use 5 GB data in 2 days;
                                2. login of mid night is not possible;
                                3. If so, please provide the detail of data uses.

                                Despite of showing my dis-agreement, the department has closed my complaint and send a massage of "complaint resolved". This is not a t all a good service to a customer we were looking for the justified solution.

                                Here I am requesting to resolve the issue or withdrew the connection with immediate effect, other service providers are there.

                                This is really a disgusting service I received from a reputed company like TATA.

                                I have been using Tata docomo photon dongle for more than 8 months. From the start I am facing network issues. As a normal process I called up the customer case to complain regarding the issue and I came to know that there is low coverage in my area. They told me that their technical team is working on it and they are not aware by when the issue will get resolved and asked me to be patient and bear with them. Later I came to know that there is no tower set up in my area which could provide high speed and proper coverage. I don’t understand why they sold this dongle to me or people in my area if there are network issues in my area. It is absolutely unethical. Please do not buy tata photon dongles as they do not give complete information as to whether they have high speed and enough coverage in a particular area or not, I was also not informed about it when they sold it to me. Please avoid buying it. Completely dissatisfied with the service.

                                  Tata Docomo network has gone down miserably since May14 in Kalyaninagr Pune.I cann't make call. Anyone trying to call me gets connected after 8-10 attempts, even though it shows full signal. It is complete disaster. Tata Docomo when it will be solved? Otherwise i have to port to other provider.

                                    I was am using a Tata Docomo Prepaid connection. I need to make AT&T audio teleconferencing calls. AT&ampT no. 000117 is a toll free number. However, I was being charged for the calls made to this number and the charges are more than the local charge rates. Even When I tried to reach Tata Docomo Customer care on the issue. They completely denied this number to be toll-free number and made abusive comments on call when asked what needs to be done as I have proof of this number to be toll free number. Can anyone tell what need full to be done. I have been using vodafone postpaid from last 2 years. Using At&t for more than a year, I have not been charged single rupee.

                                    It is not resolved for anybody. This is still charged and customer service representatives (of tata docomo) totally indifferent to our concerns. Today, I was told that, pay your bill and disconnect. I am in the process of escalating the same. Will keep you updated.

                                      Dear Concern, I here would like to complain about my new TATA Vista D90(ZX+) which is one of the premium segment of TATA. I Never found my car as premium of cost that satisfies my car. When ever we send car for Servicing will start facing anew problem. From the starting I just kept complaining to showroom guys but there was irresponsible answers. In the first service they took off GPS Navigation chip and when I ask they are saying we are not responsible. We are fed up with these guys and my car sounds are not satisfactory.                                         I would like to inform U that an amount of Rs.75 was deducted from my main balance due to one o[censored]r page redirects of some Moviworld App on 15 of June 2014. I immediately tried to contact your customer service but, did not recieve any response from them and my call went unanswered. Later when I called the next day, i.e 16/06/14 & told my problem, I was assured a refund of the said amount into my account within 24 hrs. But dint received any response.. So Iv Called again on 18/06/14 & was again assured a refund within 24 hrs. Today (24/06/2014) its been almost more than a week & I still havent received my refund.On calling back your customer care, I was connected with one of your Senior Executives, but he too started on the note that I should have informed them within 24 hrs, well, I did try to.. But I[censored]r customer care executives do not respond to our calls then that is an issue U should be solving instead of harassing your loyal customers. This isnt the first time this has happened to me. Last month Rs.50 had been deducted from my balance...on complaining I was refunded Rs.30... & again its happened this month. Kindly look into this matter as it is pure harassment deducting from our main balance without any intimation.
