This mail is regarding my brand new cars engine seize problem. I bought the tata tiago diesel xz model berry red from concord motors tathwade, pune, maharashtra on 1st sep 2017.
After 10 day my car breakdown on 12th sep 2017 @ 5:30pm it didn’t get started, that time i called roadside assistance they came @ 8pm and checked vehicles all electronics but they failed to identify the problem, they arranged flat belt @ 9:30 pm. Just see your service how fast! Within city u provide service within 30 min and just note down my timings
I towed my car with your assistance to panchjanya automobile-bhosari, pune maharashtra drop their @10pm
Then from 13th sep all false started till today, first at panchjanya motors they attended my car and checked all details and gave me receipt while submitting the car. On which no scratch is mentioned
Without any scratch i submitted my car.
1. First they said cam sensor is faulty and timing belt has problem so we will replace them and give your vehicle in 2 days so i demanded standby vehicle and they arranged tata zest petrol and its fuel efficiency is 8-9 kmpl, as we belongs to poor family tiago is our first car and we are not affording zest cars fuel cost but still we filled rs 1500s petrol in it.
Accidently a cab driver dash the zest and panchjanya motors charged from us 6500. Isn’t there any insurance for stand by vehicle? I know there is insurance for companies vehicle but this service centres all are false we used zest for 2 days only and our 2 days expense is rs 1500.
2. Main issue starts from here, after 2 days they called me and said engine head must have to open and they asked shall we open your engine head that time i asked my cousin about it
He said no don’t allow them to open your engine head. Then i visited with him to panchjanya motors
He asked there what happen they just said we have to open the engine head. My cousin inspected the vehicle and he found that hla of engine is broken and he said to crm our engine is in warranty and you have to replace it, engine only ran 700km then the crm and gm agrees to replace it
3. After two days on 18 sep 2017 they said engine is coming from sanand, gujarat so it will available till 20-21st sep 2017, and then they said engine came but gasket is not available. Sir please just follow the consequences here how poor your service is. Then i asked them after gasket come, u will be saying like sir sorry screws are not available. They said don’t be worried we will sort out this issue within 3 days maximum.
4. On friday 22nd sep 2017 i visited panchjanya automobiles service station. My car is there nothing happened and my car was just standing there with lots of dust on it and car is damaged bit at rear left side, no covers on seats and also on body and customer service said me on call that your vehicle is on highest priority. Is this tata’s highest priority?
5. On sunday they said we installed succefully your engine and delivers you tomorrow. On 25 sep 2017, but as i said we belongs to poor middle class family so we won’t be managed 6500 immediately that time so they gave us another reason that your vehicle is under testing please come tomorrow so i went to showroom on 27 sep 2017 without money.
They did all check up and gave me car key and said your car is ready but due to money issue they hold my vehicle and said at least you have to pay 4000 for zest damage and after 2-3 days pay the remaining amount
6. So i paid the 4000 and took my car from them. They hold me 1-2 hrs because there are other issues also, like my car looks like second hand all shining gone scratches all over and not washed well so,
I complained about this and then mr. Katkar said its 6.30pm and station is closing and polish workers are gone but why should i accept the car with scratches and dents? So i complained to gm he solve the issue in 30 min
7. But when i saw scratches are deep so gm said after 2-3 days we will paint major scratches and again polishing and rubbing will done to your vehicle, but how they didn’t bother that i submitted a brand new car without any scratch and while taking delivery after 20 days it looks like old car
8. At the time of delivery i took trial with quality supervisor mr. Katkar that time i said there is lots of engine vibration and noise is very high in car
They said your engine is not set yet its new engine, and they convinced me to take delivery
I am totally upset and frustrated after seeing this service. Could you please tell me whose responsibility is it to set the engine vibration? Why didn’t they tested my car for long run? I had submitted the car @729 km and they delivered my [protected]@ 763 just 33 km they tested
9. When i came to home i went for drive and after, just 12 km my engine gets off again
I tried for few min but it didn’t get start i stopped car and waited for 15 min after. Again i tried then it started so i came home & i called gm of panchjanya they said don’t worry sir we will send our technicians to your location tomorrow
10. My car is totally faulty now its shows on instrument cluster symbols of abs continuously, seatbelt blinking even also seatbelt wore, it appears.
Engine leaves out black smokes continuously
Not getting pickup feels like engine is jam
While starting the car whole car vibrated
Instrument cluster not functioned proper
Dte is showing 210 and i drove car 3.5km then dte is 190. Totally i drove 30km but dte displays 155 why tata give such function which is not proper not even near guess
Difference is 40-50km/l in dte
10. Now i am totally frustrated. Is this a tata motors one of the biggest brand in world and no.1 brand in india, who takeovers international companies but won’t be able to manage own reputation.
Before i bought the car my friends and relatives told me about tata, that tata is good for commercial, but i refused them and trusted the tata’s new premium segment car as tiago rules the market so...
But today all are laughing at our decision. We extremely regret about our decision of choosing tata
These service stations are loop hole for tata’s reputation like tata closed the service station of pandit auto for reason of bad service, but then what? All staff is same at panchjanya service station in pune
11. How would i pay my instalment and why would i pay? Just give me 1 reason to pay the money. I will not able to use my vehicle since 22 days i financed money from hdfc and i got false by dealers. That one is also from tata’s own showroom concord motors.
I am complaining you last time, if i won’t get any immediate action on my complaint
I will take further steps i am going to inform consumer forum and also i will take help from media
And lawyer
I need replacement of my car and want compensation for that we suffered a lot mentally and also financially. Whole month we are frustrated and tensed tomorrow we are not celebrating dussehra.
Our family member our car is not well, remember these words.
Just remember sir middle class person buys a car once in life.
