On 13/02/2013,I had purchased a tata nano car from m/s Marina motors,Calicut with 100% finance from Tata moter Finance Kannur(Loan no [protected]/C Vasumathi& Damodaranan Nambisan).Unfortunately the loan papers/cheques signed are incomplete relating to quantum of finance,rate of int,repayment per month etc because all these are conveyed to me in black & white by the concerned delivery agent & check list is given to me at the time of delivery of the vehicle which is signed by me along with the co.
But when I received the copies of the loan papers from Tata Finance,Kannur,after a few days,I surprised to note that the amount of loan int rate, repayment amount are quite different from what the have conveyed to me previously .Having taken delivery of the vehicle .&signed the loan papers,I have no option than to file complaint to the concerned( Complain no 622195). I did so with financing co & since then sent 5 to 6 E mail.What they did was that directed me to run pillar to post.I am 67.& I had told them about my inability to run after this.But so far no action.I clearly told them not to en-cash the cheque with higher amount there on .Despite ,they did so thrice.A finance co should not do so.So I request you to take up the matter with the concerned &get it settled.

    on November 2012 my car engine was suddenly stop and exhale a hot water,
    i am taking back my car to the Indore showroom for solution, even my car
    was in warranty period they told me that your car piston was choke , and
    for that you should have to paid around 54000 Rs / - for servicing, i '
    ll paid him a 54000 Rs/- and release my car after 2 month , and then
    again my car engine was suddenly stop, Again he said me that some
    correction is left in head of engine for that you would be paid 24000 Rs
    /- again . I am humbly requesting to you please concern with your Indore
    showroom dealer , otherwise i am going to claim on your company and your
    product service center , and make my issue resolve as fast as possible .

        I have a tata nano for more than a year, I have also got done the AMC for my Nano.

        I had first given my vehicle to Pawa motors service station near 2 months back, the problem was that -

        1. there was a screeching noise produced while applying the brakes and
        2. when I used to apply gears they used to get stuck and very hard to bring back to neutral

        they had not serviced it and had returned the vehilcle as it was given to them, I had made a complaint about the same at there center. I don't know what they did, but after a few days the problem again arised and I took it again to them and they again returned the vehicle as it is. This time I had to use the vehicle in the same condition as I didn't have the time from my office to take a leave.

        When I tried to make a complaint about the same from the web site It came to my notice that the name of the dealer (Pawa Motors) doesn't exist in the scroll down of the Grievance Redressal Box (http://www.tatanano.com/customer_care.htm), and without selecting the dealer the complaint can not be made.

        Then I called [protected], and made a complaint whose compalint number given to me is (1-[protected]). On 19 April 2013 I made this complaint and I had specificcally said that I want to talk to somebody from tata motors and not from any dealer service station. and exactly the opposite happened, I received a call (on 21 April, Sunday) from Narain Singh & sons Auth Tata Motor Service. My point is that they can get my number only when somebody from tata complaint department would have given to them, why couldn't that person talk to me first and understand my Grievance before providing my number to a service station.

        Then I had told the above service station to pick up my vehicle from my house and deliver the same. There driver came and tells my dad to pick the vehicle in the evening as he will not deliver it, when this was told to me by my father I called up the service station and had to beg them to deliver. My question is doesn't TATA motors provide the facility to pick and deliver from the house of the customer then how did the driver from the service station can say that he will not deliver????

        Then I had to call them back by 6 pm on sunday that when will be the delivery made they said that it will be made on monday.

        then I received a call on monday and they told a verbal list of thing they will be doing on the vehicle, I asked that please tell me that whether anything of this will be paid or not, they said that they'll call and tell. No call received that day, and eventually I had to call in the evening that will I get the nano today, i.e. monday, and they replied "no", I'll get on teusday.

        Today is tuesday I received a call in the morning that certain things have been placed in the vehicle which are outside the coverage of the AMC and I will have to pay (which is without my permission, as I was never told about payble items), I asked what is the amount? they said that give me 5 minutes I'll tell. This conversation was done at 12:41 pm and I didn't receive a call till 13:23, then I called to ask the amount, the lady on the phone says that they will not talk to you as there having there lunch, I asked that please ask them what is the amount, she says they are not telling me, then I told to connect to the manager, and she replied that he is not willing to talk to you.


        It's 3 days I don't have vehicle, even after owning a nano I have to use public transportation to go to my office !!!!

        If this is not harrasment then what is???

        TATA — Torture on the phone

        Hi,I have been receiving the calls from 61188750 & 61188752 these numbers and the person is calling on mobile and really torturing which is registered in NDNC. Would appreciate you to block these numbers on urgent basis.

          Subject: Defective "Tata Safari VX" Engine No.: 22LdICORO6JZYJ18018 Chassis No: MAT403745ANJ10277 Dealer: Marudhara Motors, Jodhpur Date of Purchase: 28 October 2010 Marudhara Motors, Jodhpur (Raj) sold us a defective T2ata Safari Dicor on 28 October 2010. The car has a defective engine, braking system and AC. It is a piece of junk. 1. 16 times, In the last 2 years, the car was sent for service 2. After every 50-100 kms, the car gets super heated and need to be stopped to let it cool 3. The car has a defective Braking system. We nearly meet with an accident because of this 4. Car's mileage is pathetic 5. The dealer is arrogant and unprofessional. He never fulfills commitment on delivery, when car is sent for repair 6. Oil was changed at 600 kms, when it was not required 7. The car had to be towed twice to the workshop I am highly disappointed with "Tata Safari" and would recommend people not to buy such piece of

          SAFARI-TATA MOTORS — DEFECTIVE CAR

          I HAVE BOUGHT A TATA SAFARI IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 09.SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE DEFECTIVE LEFT FRONT DOOR OF THE CAR BUT NO SERVICE CENTRE (04 VISITS TILL DATE) HAS BEEN ABLE TO REPAIR IT.I HAVE COMPLAINED TO TATA MOTORS VIA EMAIL BUT THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED.WHAT DO I DO?

          Tata Motors / Safari — Faulty Vehicle

          Vehicle not working properly from day one. Timing belt broke on 8000km. Engine giving wage sound. Head-light, power window switch / motor, temperature gauge, ignition switch all not working. Over and above lot of other problems in the Safari.

          Tata Motors / Safari — INTERIORS FALLING APART

          A brand new TATA Safari came with a ill fitted back cover .The interiors was giving away
          I complained to the dealer during first service he said nothing could be done as it is plastic parts.
          I wrote to theTATA MOTORS - No reply. Another reminder - No reply.

          Even my earlier request at price clarification was not addressed to .

          They don't care .So all customers refrain from buying Tata vehicles.

          Improper service

          My car faces a problem of check engine, took a towing . Again after some days same problem started. Showed to authorize Tata service station to National automobiles Pune. But now again I m facing the problem with wiring . I m fed up with this issue. Its just a year n it's giving so much issue

                I have got my car repaired under extended warranty and paid the full amount. The customer executive who handled my case promised that I will get the reimbursement after a month but I didn't get any refund yet. This was in the last week of december but there is no response yet. When I contacted the executive who handled my case, he said there are many other pending cases which are not yet addressed. He did not give me a satisfying answer nor did he mention any dates when I would expect the refund.

                  UN MOTORS Udaipur has been indulging in complete fraud and trying to haress customers.

                  We closed a deal to buy an TATA INDIGO in AUG last year. We paid 60%+ in advance for the booking. Since we live in a different city, we waited for the dealer to let us know when to pick the car. We had told that we once confirmed we will pick it on the next auspicious day. The dealer after receiving the money never called up. When we went a month later to enquire, we were told that the car has been sold to someone else and now we need to book another one at a higher price. We pushed to get a new booking at the older rate or else return the money. Since 6 months they haven't returned the money and instead have been pushing the date of the payment every week. It is causing mental harrassment to a senior citizen who has been calling them over the phone or visiting them from a different city frequently to get it resolved.

                  We have raised it with Tata motors compliant forum but looks like Tata also wants to be deaf on such issues.

                    1. Tata Indigo(Dicor) was purchased from Tata Motors showroom, Secunderabad(AP) in May 2007.It
                    was the first version of the Common Rail Diesel Injection system to be introduced by Tata
                    Motors.The vehicle is registered in the name of Lt Col Ganesh Surath bearing reg No.AP10AL 0390

                    2. Initially at Hyderabad the vehicle was was admitted to to Tata motors service station at
                    Bowenpally,Secunderabad several times for rectification of problems due to defective timing
                    belt.The same vehicle is now in a Concorde Motors workshop at Bangalore for defective fuel injection
                    pump as the timing belt assembly drives the pump I think the issues are interrelated.

                    3. A new pump cost Rs 30,000/- and once replaced I have been advised that it could also cause issues with the injectors and I believe each injector costs Rs 16,000/-

                    4. In view of the above we will incur heavy expenditure on the vehicle to make it road worthy
                    and we request you look into the matter and do the needful to reduce the financial burden.
                    Looking forward to a positive response from TATA MOTORS in whom we have trust.

                    I bought my Indigo CSLS on dated[protected]. i am found that the car has vibration problem since the date of purchase. I gave my car back to them for repairing on dated 24 june 2010 and many time before date but no satisfactory result.

                      Sir,

                      I purchased TATA NANO CX (Special Edition) on 14-Feb-13. Alloy wheels were to be supplied with that but the dealer said it will take another 7 days for alloy wheels to come. When contacted again he said another two months it will take. We talked to Tata customer care but to no avail.

                      Further, dealer said that car will be equipped with central locking system, when we went to take the delivery it was not installed, when asked the dealer said that it comes with top model.

                      And in the running also, new car is creating problems. The battery suddenly goes dead and if the car is started by pushing it, without pressing the pedal engines accelerates to the maximum. And the speedometer has stopped working.

                      Please help me on this.

                        I have purchased New Tata Indica vista LX on Date[protected] at 6.30 PM , I on next day i.e. On[protected] at 9.30 PM I noticed spare wheel for car not received and that one was accidentally I went to bazaar to purchase house hold material and and kept in diggy as sudden spare wheel cove gets bend and I observed no spare wheel.
                        Next day[protected] at 9.30 I went to Marvelous Motors i.e. Tata motor car showroom at Kolhpur I told them I didn't receive spare wheel. As I told them they says you check at your home it must be there , as per our (Marvelous Motors ) PDI report you have received spare wheel.

                        Now no body is taking complaint and sort out Issue. Till date my vehicle is lying with Tata Motors Showroom.

                        As per showroom treatment If you or other people how Buying Tata Indica, Tata Indica Vista or Tata Indigo then we are Cab Driver for or this vehicle is for transport purpose.

                        If you want a real car or Car owner respect from Supplier then go for Other Brand except Tatamotors and if so then don't take it politely and don't sign any document unless and untill you personally veryfy it.

                        Beware you are buying TATA MOTORS CAR VEHICLE (as cab Driver)

                          With reference to our Manza Car I would like to put the following points.
                          - Details of the Car –
                          o Registration Number – WB06C – 3944
                          o Chassis No. – MAT6130019LK00861

                          - We had send our Manza Car on the 12th of December (not sure about date one day before or after) to Lexus motors service station at Budge Budge Trunk Road at Rampur as there as some sound from the car. The car was running and we drove it into the Service station. The people said they would need to inspect and provide us the estimate. We requested them to provide the estimate before they do anything as if the expenses are high we would not like to go with it. The reason was we had already put lot of money in repairing this vehicle and we did not want invest anything major in it. Also we were contemplating changing the vehicle.
                          - We waited for a good 5 to 7 seven days. Called a few times also visited the services station once. We were not being provided any estimate. The reason we were being told that they want to provide an accurate estimate since the customers do not like the amounts being changed once estimate is provided. However during these visits they provided us with a lot of Gyan (which I might consider it rude and unprofessional behavior) , that our maintenance was poor, we do not change engine oil etc. None of this is true infact and we have documentation to prove it.

                          - On 22nd December we called again to know the estimate, and to tell them not to get the car into a situation where we do not have the choice of not getting it repaired. The gentleman Mr. Asim Guha Thakurta said it takes time to provide an estimate and that ours is not only car they repair. However they did not provide any information, we were told not to hurry up and not to keep disturbing.

                          - We were not happy about it and we lodged a complaint with the customer care. The complaint number was 1-[protected]. We have never heard anything from anyone since these complain.
                          - About 5 -6 days later, we got a call from Mr. Guha Thakurta that they have checked and the estimated cost of repairs is 1,47,000 odd. We immediately told him that we are not interested to get it repaired and we would take the car back. He said that was not possible as the car was opened up and if we have to take it back we have to tow the car and take the parts separately.

                          - We visited the place next day, met the some senior gentleman at the shop. He had a same version that either we get it repaired or get the car towed away. They would provide the opened parts separately.

                          -We had no choice, It was pure blackmail. The company had also not responded to our complain. If we say not they would just leave the car outside with the parts.

                          -We requested them if the cost could come down, since we have already invested a lot in the car and since we had communicated to them that we are thinking of changing the car. They said they would cooperate.

                          - We did not hear from them for a long time. We got a call and a subsequent mail from them about the estimate on 11th January. The estimate was the same as discussed before. We were told that they need an approval in mail to start the job. We provided the approval on 16th January.

                          - We did not hear from them for one month since then. We made occasional calls but nothing. On 25th or 26th of February (Two and a half months after providing the car) we got a call that the car is now ready and the Bill is 174000 which is approximately 30,000 more than the estimate. There was no information provided and approval either verbal or written taken for the same.

                          - On being asked the question we were told there were some more damages which were discovered in due course and if we want to get the car back this is what we need to pay.

                          - My Car is still at the service station. I would not like to pick it up till i have some questions answered and resolutions done. I would like to use all resonable channels that i might have to escalate the matter.

                          Following are my question for which i request answers.

                          - Why can't i have an initial estimate before they get my car into a stage where i do not have any choice of not getting it repaired? Why are not even basic estimates provided ?
                          - If i complain about an estimate to the Company, why would the company not take it seriously. Why would no one even bothered to speak to me ?
                          - If you take 15 days to provide an estimate, citing reasons of providing accurate estimates how can the estimates fluctuate the way they did ?
                          - i was told this happened because of our negligence in changing oils etc. We have documentary evidence that fuel as regularly changed and that too Tata Authorized service centers only. Doesn’t that get the responsibility on the Company for the damage ?
                          - Why would about one third of the cost of new car would be required to repair it only after three years ?
                          - Why are Tata Sales and Service experience so vividly different ? Service is like people doing favor to you by repairing your car ?
                          - I get calls from Tata Call Centers from Pune asking about minutes in service etc. We are talking about 2 and half months here. ?

                          Tata Motors — Pathetic Service and Quality of the car

                          I bought a Tata Safari Dicor LX on 3rd January 2007 and i already have a heap of maintaince challans with me, starting off the day i booked it with Han Motors they took the booking amount after promising the silver color thats was asked and then a few days before the delivery i was told that the color wasn't available and was asked to go in for another color as the money couldn't be refunded "as per company rules" when i finally took the delivary of the car whcihw as again delayed by 5 days on filling up the fuel tank the Diesel Tank was leaking hence it was taken back, according to the han motor guys it was as screw up from tata motors, i still tolerated that, and after a few months i went to shirdi with my family on the way back the car just broke down the steering wouldn't move neither the brakes wouldn't work and all this happened in middle of the highway when the car was in motion, i had to tow my car all the way for which i paid till now the company hasn't refunded the towing charges!! and afetr checkin as to what had happened to my car it was told to me that it was an "electrical failure", just recently my cars brakes failed all of a sudden to which the han motor service station guys have no clue about, i found from other sources that it cannot happen in 29, 000 kms ( thast how much i have travelled :-) ). i really dont know what should be done about this! i[censored] complain it all falls on deaf ears, i really want to sell of this car and will always recommend people never to buy any Tata product, dunno what Nano will have in store for all those whoc buy it??????? If anyone can guide through this it would be of gerat help please...
                          i have perched indigo cs ls on 4th july 2008. there is a lot of rust in my car from since 4 months. i have comlained to many times on to TAYAL MOTORS faridabad . but they don't give any response about it .tey have taken my car's photo &says to replayed after 7 days. but they don't replied about it. please take some action & ask about my comp lend

                          Tata Motors — Poor Service and Bad repair quality

                          I bought my Indigo in October 2004 and installed music system, autolock system etc from a local vendor. 2005 rainy season was horrible for me as first time i experience leakage from door side which spoiled my carpet. I spend almost 1500/- for my new carpet and was assured that no more i will face leakage problem again.
                          Again 2006 rainy season same story but fortunately i removed my carpet well before rainy season (still paid Rs. 300/- as authorised showrooms are charging 600/- for removing carpet and again 600/- for refitting the same).
                          2007 and 2008 same problem and still i'm facing same problem.

                          On service part thrice (2005, 2006, 2007 almost spending more than 2000/-) my door membrane were changed by Om Sai Motors, Kandivali (West) Mumbai.

                          Earlier i had Indica (2nd hand) where there was no membrane and still i did not face any leakage problem. When i told this to so called certified engineer from Om Sai Motors, rediculous answer was "that must have been my good luck". If car runs on luck than... I'm speech less.

                          Next time i tried Wasan Motors, Kandivali (West) Mumbai but still my car leakage is not solved. Though the car is very good, but really disappointed with the service and the quality of the repairs.

                          hope so i can expect any revert to the same.
                          I never took my car tata indica to TATA motors for repairs. and i was very happy with my car for last 7 years. But now i had send it for AC compressor replacement, and i feel i am in some subji mandi, horrible, for 15 days they didn't get the compressor from bangalore. and also after that they are not able to align it properly. they say its leaking, .. when i had asked for complete replacement including pipes i don't know whats leaking.
                          Any How I have to go for New Car next year and i am going through service centres of different car makers for a better company.

                            Last 1.5 yrs I am trying fix the issues in my car engine (Petrol Car, TATA Indigo Manza, KA034949) each and every time they gave various reason than fixing the car problem. Last 6 months, the Car is never in a situation of driving more than 500 KMs
                            Couple of their executive’s claims the car can go 300+ KMS in wrong fuel and see the attachments. Even they are not bothering about creating the bad image to the TATA brand name, by officially giving it in TATA letter head. Since I trusted the brand name and took the car away from the service center and end up in the same trouble in the first drive itself. See the attachments for more info

                            Stay away from you for buying TATA motors

                            I think TATA Motors is the one company all the top management paid well for not during any work and responsibility. All your customer complaint these are the responsible people i came across

                            After 2 months of repair, confirmation of the car quality from the final level, still it is drivable until 500 KMs only. Think 1000 times to buy a TATA car, even they make false promises using company letter head

                              I have a Tata Indica (ev2) car which was met with an accident 20 days back and is at service Centre right now. The name of the service Centre is Oberoi cars Pvt Ltd (Noida Sec-1). My car is there from past 20 days but no work has done on it as the service centre is giving me a talla that they do not have the side past of the body available so they are unable to work on it.

                              The car got highly damaged so it will take 10 day more to get everything fixed and as it is a commercial number vehicle, so presently I have to bare its installments and taxes payment.

                              I had also complaint regarding this in tata motors customer care but did not get any response from anyone.

                              My only question to tata Motors is that when Indica Ev2 is a top selling vehicle of tata motors then why they don't have parts available?? why they are least bothered about providing after sales service to customers.

                              Please look into this.

                              Dear manager,
                              I have purchased an Indica Vista in June 09, being an Army officer away in field areas, veh has hardly run. My wife used to use the vehicle to school. My vehicle had come with Aquamile tyres that were of poor quality. They have been punctured 4-5 times in short period. i have had to put tubes in most of these Tubeless tyres. My wife does not feel safe riding the vehicle anymore.
                              I have made regular complains but no response is forthcoming. These tyres are phased out by the company who is now supplying Bridgestone Tyres. May i request that my tyres may also be recalled as of inferior quality. This action will stand in good repute to a well established and global company. manish

                                my father have tata indigoecs cr4, whenever i drive that car i feel that its steering is very tough , when we complaint about local dealer they said after 40000km it will be easy. but it is still same, when we aproched to local non authorized service center he said that in this model all car have this problem . why it is so? we have total 3 nos tata car. we dont want to go for other brand as some other benefits are very good of tata's car. so plz clear our problems

                                    I had purchased a TATA MANZA Quadrajet from RD Motors of Kolkata. This vehicle bears the following details:

                                    1. Delivery Taken by us 10th Jan 2011
                                    2. Registration at Motor Vehicles 7th Jan 2011
                                    3. Vehicle Registration no. WB06F- 3343
                                    4. Name : Garg Agrotech P Ltd.
                                    5. Invoice No. and date: RDMot[protected] dt 29/09/2010. Time : 10:24:31 P.M.

                                    However, in March 2012, when we approached the service centre for renewal of extended warranty on the vehicle we were informed that the vehicle was sold to us on 29th Sep 2010, and hence the eligibility for extended warranty had expired in January 2012 itself. We fail to understand how, a car which was delivered to me in Jan 10, 2011 could bear such an old date of invoice.

                                    We had subsequently tried to request to the service centre to consider providing us the facility but we were denied the extended warranty. Moreover, even our warranty period was forcibly expired on 29th Sep 2012 itself and we have been incurring expenses on the vehicle since then.

                                      With utmost regret i would like to divert your attention to a matter which has taken place in the course of 5 months
                                      I would like to inform that in august 2012, my father Mr. Navjeewan Kumar Singla became interested in buying one of the light commercial vehicle i.e. TATA ACE ZIP from SPEED MOTORS ,INDUSTRIAL AREA.
                                      At that time we were not aware that it would turn out to be our worst decision. Though at first we thought of getting it financed, but looking at the tedious procedure we agreed on getting it on cash payment.
                                      The same was intimated to the sales agent. We got the vehicle. The sales receipt showed a HYPOTHETICAL CHARGE by HDFC BANK.
                                      We informed the same to SPEED MOTORS. The same was changed but took a long duration of 1 month. I would also like to add that we did not received the original bill.
                                      A duplicate bill was delivered to us.
                                      Now when we received the insurance copy of the vehicle, it also includes a HYPOTHETICAL CHARGE by HDFC BANK. When we had a talk with the MANAGER of speed motors Mr. Kapoor, he asked us to come to the speed motors office and assured us that the same would be corrected. This morning i.e. 11 December 2012, my father reached Speed motors office. he was asked to sit and wait while the same would be done. During this, the papers were handed to some person and the Manager left. My father was left waiting for his work to be done.
                                      When no one came to guide my father, he asked the person who was handed our papers. He said he had a talk with the people from hdfc bank and that my father can collect the NOC from HDFC bank.
                                      When he went to hdfc bank, he was told to submit Rs. 1000.
                                      We have no problems in depositing Rs. 1000 but the question arises Why should we pay?
                                      Was this our fault? We are being harassed at every step.
                                      Now when we are about to receive our REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE we are in a doubt that it would also carry a charge.
                                      I request you to look into the matter with immediate effect.
