DEFECTIVE CLUTCH SYSTEM

I bought Tata manza around 18 months back in April 2010, after 5 months of purchase , after driving for 1200 kms , i notice that the clutch was started becoming stiffer day by day , till it started aching my knee i went to their dealer techno motors , they said it is normal. Then the car was sent for third service after one year of purchase around 7,000 kms at Sanya motors (Mayapuri) , they took around Rs 4000 for changing the oil, i told...

Im sujai tyravels anan nagar my driver
I have booked a Tata indigo White color (execl – Diesel) at VST MOTERS MOUNT ROAD Chennai . India, on the 14 septmber 2011, and I settled full payment , they promised me deliver the car on 27th SEP.2011 , but till I am no delivery .

I again repeatedly tried to contact Mr. JEGAN – Sales Officer – VST motoers on 27.9.2011, but he did not response me, and I had discuss with Mr.jegan , he said me , it is not our problem that is our company INDIGO designs problem..


Due to non-delivery of vehicle, I have some problem with my travels . I have 22 Nos Vechile , including 15 Nos. Tata vechiles in request you to, when the Car will be delivering.

Ordered for one manza/aura/white on 14/1/10 , with a promise of delivery within 21 days max. But great work by tata , they never delivered the vehicle even in two months and top of it G.M. of techno Auto never even knew when can the delivery done ...
.Atlast i had to refund the advance and had to undergo lot of harrasment /pain from the dealer ,,,

Great work .. Techno Auto and Tata to save me , else i had to really crip for 4-5 years..

    I purchased my Tata Safari in February 2009. After about an year and 3 months (sometime during May 2010) i received a mail from tata motors asking me to come for a timing belt issue that was there in this vehicle. This was more of a recall of the vehicle to correct the problem. I diligently got the problem rectified (at least that was my understanding when i got the vehicle back). however the same component failed in August of 2011.

    I did not notice any jerkiness in engine or any issue with performance or anything but randomly the timing belt got cut. I had to tow the vehicle for service. I registered a complaint with Tata Motors and they said they will work with the service station and resolve the issue.

    During the service of my vehicle i was informed my fuel injector has failed my alternator failed and when the vehicle was serviced i received a bill for almost 66K. when i asked TataMotors about the reason for other components to fail they did not provide me with any convincing answer but said the fuel injector failed because of bad fuel or diesel contamination. If this is really the case then there should all Safari diesel vehicles in bangalore facing this same problem. Also they did not tell me why my alternator failed.

    Now i would like to understand in the first place, i was driving a faulty timing belt for almost 2 years. Can Tata Motors prove it that driving a faulty timing belt cannot fail on fuel injector (is the required pressure going to be maintained. are misfires going to be controlled correctly). Is the alternator going to continue to work fine with incorrect timing issues.

    Also what was interesting is when i took the vehicle to service station i was given an estimate immediately for 60K. (How did the service guy know other components will or would have failed - Interesting). The service guy says in his experience he has seen these components not holding up if the timing belt fails.

    When i spoke to TataMotors i was informed i should have taken extended warranty and this would have been covered. Now is this a scheme to sell extended warranty to customers and for those who opt out they will be given second class vehicle.

    I have used TataSiera for 15 years before this and did not face a single problem (the main reason to choose TataSafari has my next vehicle). When i mention this to TataMotors or the service station they tell me the technology is different. So does that mean in the name of new technology TataMotors are delivering lower quality products that do not even survive 2 years as compared to my 15 years siera not having a single problem.

    I need TataMotors to come clean and solve the issue. They need to accept the issue caused by the faulty timing belt and reduce my burden of the service cost. This problem i strongly believe TataMotors is aware of but not willing to accept. Imagine having to spend 66K plus all the services i have done regularly (about 4 services close 3K each), i am spending at a rate of 39K per year for a new vehicle which is outrageous.

    TataMotors I have lost faith in your vehicle and i need justice done.

      Dear All
      On Oct. 8, 2010, I purchased Tata Manza Aura ABS.
      I started having problems with M/s Grover Motors, Bareilly - Tata Dealership from the day 1. When I took my Tata Manza for the first service, the service advisor, (Mr. Vivek Sharma) told me that the horns of the car are not functioning properly and offered to replace the same. On my acceptance, they brought two horns of some local company and before I could ask anything, peeled the wires connecting the original horns. When confronted as to why the wires were peeled off and why they were not using the original sockets for fixing the new horns, they took away the local horns and brought a brand new pair of orginal sealed 'Tatas' horns and fixed then using the sockets. However, the wires were already peeled off by then. Therefore, I made a written complaint about the same since as per the warranty clauses, in case any wire is peeled or cut or damanged, the warranty cover stands cancelled. However, I did not get any response either from Grover Motors or from Tata Motors about the incidence. This was my first experience with M/s Grover Motors, Bareilly.

      On the 3rd service, again I was assigned to the same service advisor (Mr. Vivek Sharma). He refused to carry out the service of the car since I had brought a sealed can of Exxon Mobil 1 engine oil (as per the recommendations given on pg 156 of the Owners' Manual) to be used in the car. He insisted to use their own brand of engine oil. My efforts to contact M/s Tata Motors on the issue were all in vain. I was forced to collect my car as such without III service from M/s Grover Motors, Bareilly under protest. The engine oil, I had taken to the Tata Motors service centre is the same as mentioned in the Owners' Manual of the car. However, M/s Grover Motors did not accept the oil and did not carry out the service. I was told that they were doing so on the instructions of M/s Tata Motors. However, Tata Motors has not yet clarified its stand in the matter, My car has got a extended warranty cover for four years. This way, Tata Motors have deviced a way out to fleece the customers as the tata dealerships/ service centres are charging not only heavy amounts (about Rs 1500 /lit) for the engine oil, but also using poor quality oil. Thus, M/s Tata Motors through their dealship/ service network have devised a way out to monopolize the market by disallowing the consumers their right to choose a product and by forcing them to accept whatever "they" provide us under the disguise of 'warranty cover'. This in simple words amounts to cheating.
      I hope M/s Tata Motors (not a small name) will refrain from resorting to such cheap tectics and shall face the competition in open and will also abide by what it has mentioned in his Owners' Manual.

      M/s tata motors — Car servicing

      i have indica DLS eruo III.
      i went for 3500km servicing of the car to
      autolinks, vasant kunj new delhi on 6 Nov 09.
      i was charged around Rs 3700
      but the services provided were far below the excepted standards non of my complains were rectified eg Noise from the door,noise from alternator belt, problem with rear door
      in the view of the above i feel like chitted.
      on contacting M/s autolink they ask me come during working hour Bt 0930 to 1700, which not possible for me
      you are request to advice me what actions i can take
      I second the expressed opinion. Even I have had quite bitter experiences with Grover motors. They would prefer to argue with you to prove that you are wrong about spotting the complaint than trying to understand it and fix it up.

      On one instance, they refused to deliver the car to my driver post service just because I told them that I could fill the service feedback form only after trying the vehicle for some time.

      Quite high handed approach to prove their might...

        I purchased one Indigo CS eGLX Limited Edition model of 2010 make from Maa Samaleswari Automobiles Sambalpur ,bearing chasis No.MAT601655AWK45165, and the same was delivered in the night of 30/08/2011 and I was not in a position to check all the fittings of the car as I was completely fadup with the unwanted charges claimed by Mr.Subodh Dora,a service provider of Maa Samaleswari Automobiles and the agent of Tata Finance.Ofcourse I got back the extra charges amouting to Rs.900/- after lodging a complain in the Indian Complaint forum.Honestly I did a mistake in believing the employees of Maa samaleswari Automobiles,Sambalpur.On 16th September,2011 I found the missing of one rear Audio Speaker of the car and I immediately informed the G.M. Mr.Sushant Mishra, who was kind enough to show sympathy in some other way, but he expressed his helplessness as I have not been able to inspect the vehicle in the night of delivery. Some honest employee admitted that the speaker was being stolen by the employees of the firm itself and it has become a general practice . I never got replaced the stolen audio speaker and I was compelled to purchase a pair of speakers. More over I was being threatened that I would not be provided the required services as I have lodged a cmplain against the firm.I am yet to receive the bills for the logistic charges and more over it should have been included in the MRP of the car and my state exchequer could have received some more road tax from me which was not being practiced by the company.

        Tata Group of companies never try to screw the dealers rather they try and torture the customer.
        the techician/mechanics are demand money for each service except the bill amount which is not satisfied. some one Javed has taken Rs. 200 towards repair of AC and side miror.

          I had booked an Tata Vista Aura ABS on 23/07/2011 with Rs. 25000.00 and was assured delivery on 09/08/2011 as such delivered my old Indica for Rs. 127000.00 to M/s. TC Motors with understanding that the value shall be adjusted in my new car invoice.
          The delivery schedule was confirmed twice by TC motors but was not met, Neither their GM or the management was able to keep their words as such I wrote them for cancellation of my booking on 27/08/2011 and asked for refund of Rs. 152000.00 for which no response has been received till date.
          Subsequently the matter was also brought to the notice of Tata Motors vide 2 hand delivered letters to their Kolkata office, but have failed to evoke any response.
          I understand that I, who has been loyal customer of Tata Indica twice before has been harnessed deliberately due to poor marketing ploy of the company to compete with Swift's order book.
          I hereby solicit advise from this forum for ways to get my refund.

              I am a owner of TATA Indigo CS dicor model with Reg No :- KA-51 P-4216.
              Purchase Year :- 2008

              Dealer:- Preana Motors-bangalore

              last month 14 th 2011,My car got fire when i was driving in kerala and i called the tata service center RF Motors in Kerala,Thodupuzha,Iddukki Dist,they came and took the car to there service center.And the promise was the car will be delivered in 15 days maximum.

              After 15 days i called the showroom people they said they are waiting for the parts from TATA MOtors Pune and the told 3 more days.I called last monday[protected] again for the delivery of my car ,then they said they didnt recived the ful, parts yet.The RF Motors people are friendly and they keep updating.

              how tata is not able to give the spare parts for a car under production for more than a months time

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am not able to get any solution for alternator belt break down again and again. i just changed my alternator belt 23rd August 2011 and after driving max 40 Kilometer, alternator belt broke again on Saturday 27th August 2011. My car registration Number is MP-04-T-6576 and my name is Shyam Kukadia.

                    Now according to Mr. Hiteshbhai at Tata Twin wheels, Near Jalaram Mandir, Karelibaug, Vadodara showroom called me today that Engine valve got bend and car got locked completely after giving ignition once or twice, so car need to be taken at Tej Motors Ahmedabad showroom.

                    Please tell me just in 4 days alternator belt broke again.... and due to that any other fault may come in engine according to Mr. Hiteshbhai.... why do i suffer for that monetary loss? why should i pay for the mistake which i have not done? its just because alternator belt was not installed properly broke in 4 days and due to that if any other expenses in car/engine occurs, it's Tata motors liability to get it done... why should i pay for that?

                    I have already paid almost more then Rs. 35000 for the problem of this alternator belt. they make me unnecessary cost of changing A/C compressor(Rs.25000) by saying that compressor pully is out. but still problem is not solved after changing unnecessary compressor. who will going to bear that Rs. 25000 cost of A/C Compressor? Please take back that A/C Compressor and reimburse me the cost of it...

                    Why you people not got technological sound and experienced engineers at service station? i am just fade up of spending loads of money on my car Fiat Palio 1.9 Diesel. I already spent more then cost of car and that all was unnecessary cost occured due to wrong suggestions by Tata Twin wheel karelibaug vadodara.

                    Please give me proper solution to my car which is lying right now at Tata Twin wheel karelibaug vadodara. on saturday car was picked up by guys from tata twin wheel after having talk with Mr. Hiteshbhai.

                    As if now My car was taken for service second day of complaint and got delivery of car in 4-5 days as they dont have engineer for Fiat car work and service according to Mr. Hiteshbhai and i understand it. I am satisfied with kind of service given by Mr. Hiteshbhai later on.

                    As if now i am satisfied that Alternator belt has been changed but i am not finding a final solution for that. why alternator belt breking out again and again although i did spend more the Rs. 35000 for the same.

                    In first instance they said there is problem in tensioner so changed it then they said A/C Compressor is out, you have to install newA/C Compressor, so i changed my A/C Compressor though it was working and still alternator belt is breaking down....

                    Till when i have to pay again and again for the same matter? please give me final solution for this matter.

                    In my car once way back in past Alternator Belt of my Car broke up, so i visited to TWIn Wheel service station and they installed me a new Alternator Belt and it was good service but in next 10 days only my Belt broke up again so again they replaced it with New Belt, I said OK and again in next 15 days it Broke up !!!!

                    Then they said, they have to analyse the exact problem and they will take time, i said ok...after some days they came with solution that my A.C. Compressor Pully is OUT and i need to replace it. (A.C.Compressor which cost almost Rs.25000), I said OK and Given Rs. 5000 in Advance... Later on they said i need to change the Tesioner and Round tesionar also, I said OK change it if problem can get solved....

                    I came up with total expence in total approx. Rs.35000 but what i got is only after near 25-30 days again Alternator Belt Broke up...........!!!!!

                    I mean what was being analysed by the tecnical person at your TATA/FIAT Service Station?
                    I have wasted my lot of Money, Lot of Time while they were expecting A.C. Compressor Delivery and Fitting and all...
                    Please Give me a proper solution for this matter, what i need is perfect solution for problem in Car for which i have already paid lot of Money.

I also registered my Complaint online on tatamotors.com website but i have not received any mail or sms for the same also. today i also called customer care call center of tata mortors but they kept me on hold for 1 hour without giving any resolution.

                    Please Help me out with the below matter. My car is already lying at Tata Tween wheel service center Karelibaug, vadodara. Gujarat from last 12 Days with the same problem of Alternator Belt break down again and again. PLease give me solution for the same. I already spent almost Rs. 40000 for the solution of the same. everytime they told me to change belt and tensioner and once they also make me change A/C Compressor costing Rs. 25000 but still problem exist and belt used to break very frequently. last time i just driven my car only 25 Kilometer and new belt broke down.

                    If A/C Compressor was good and no problem was with A/C Compressor why do i bear cost of Rs. 25000? PLease take that compressor back and reimburse me rs. 25000 for the same.

                    Please for God sake give me solution for the same.

                    I am not able to get any solution for alternator belt break down again and again. i just changed my alternator belt 23rd August 2011 and after driving max 40 Kilometer, alternator belt broke again on Saturday 27th August 2011. My car registration Number is MP-04-T-6576 and my name is Shyam Kukadia.

                    Now according to Mr. Hiteshbhai at Tata Twin wheels, Near Jalaram Mandir, Karelibaug, Vadodara showroom called me today that Engine valve got bend and car got locked completely after giving ignition once or twice, so car need to be taken at Tej Motors Ahmedabad showroom.

                    Please tell me just in 4 days alternator belt broke again.... and due to that any other fault may come in engine according to Mr. Hiteshbhai.... why do i suffer for that monetary loss? why should i pay for the mistake which i have not done? its just because alternator belt was not installed properly broke in 4 days and due to that if any other expenses in car/engine occurs, it's Tata motors liability to get it done... why should i pay for that?

                    I have already paid almost more then Rs. 35000 for the problem of this alternator belt. they make me unnecessary cost of changing A/C compressor(Rs.25000) by saying that compressor pully is out. but still problem is not solved after changing unnecessary compressor. who will going to bear that Rs. 25000 cost of A/C Compressor? Please take back that A/C Compressor and reimburse me the cost of it...

                    Why you people not got technological sound and experienced engineers at service station? i am just fade up of spending loads of money on my car Fiat Palio 1.9 Diesel. I already spent more then cost of car and that all was unnecessary cost occured due to wrong suggestions by Tata Twin wheel karelibaug vadodara.

                    Please give me proper solution to my car which is lying right now at Tata Twin wheel karelibaug vadodara. on saturday car was picked up by guys from tata twin wheel after having talk with Mr. Hiteshbhai.

                    I am Shyam Kukadia from Vadodara( Gujarat ). I am an owner of FIAT Palio 1.9 Diesel model and i am regular customer for car service and repairing at your TWIN-WHEELS TATA & FIAT Service station Karelibaug.

                    In my car once way back in past Alternator Belt of my Car broke up, so i visited to TWIn Wheel service station and they installed me a new Alternator Belt and it was good service but in next 10 days only my Belt broke up again so again they replaced it with New Belt, I said OK and again in next 15 days it Broke up !!!!

                    Then they said, they have to analyse the exact problem and they will take time, i said ok...after some days they came with solution that my A.C. Compressor Pully is OUT and i need to replace it. (A.C.Compressor which cost almost Rs.25000), I said OK and Given Rs. 5000 in Advance... Later on they said i need to change the Tesioner and Round tesionar also, I said OK change it if problem can get solved....

                    I came up with total expence in total approx. Rs.35000 but what i got is only after near 25-30 days again Alternator Belt Broke up...........!!!!!

                    I mean what was being analysed by the tecnical person at your TATA/FIAT Service Station?
                    I have wasted my lot of Money, Lot of Time while they were expecting A.C. Compressor Delivery and Fitting and all...
                    Please Give me a proper solution for this matter, what i need is perfect solution for problem in Car for which i have already paid lot of Money.

                        i m feeling very bad in informing you that i am feeling shame on myself that why i trust on TATA MOTORS .i bought tata indigo ecs in november 2010,unfortunately i met a major accident,due to which whole body of car needed to be change.i submit my car at MEHTA MOTORS,BATHINDA for insurance claim.they rapaired my car and returned me after one month.they made claim bill of approx. 450000 rs.but car's interior is full of scratches,car windows are not working properly,AC buttons are not working properly,unpleasent sound comes from engine,everyday a new problem comes in front of me by my car.i have contact to mehta motors several time,but they provide us satisfactory job.i have already submitted online complaint on [protected]@tatamotors.com,but they did not give any attention on my complaint.now,i am complaining last time,if still u dont give me any response,i will register case against tata motors.car details are as following

                          I had taken a car laon from TATA Motor finanace srinagar on Indica.Contract No 86782.Since I was paying regularly,but due to the political unrest in the valley during the year 2008 and 2010 my instalments couldnot be deposited on time.This was not my fault whole valley was closed due to curfew and strikes for 6 to 8 months during both the years.Even government had issued directions to all financial institutions to be soft on the borrowers on part of collections.I am paying current emis plus 1 emi from OD.but I was not able to pay overdue back log in full.Now I have managed some funds from my friends to settle the case in one go.but TMF employees are demanding extra intrest ODC plus CBC and pre closure payment of Rs 5000 including the future due intrest.which is unfair. I unfotunatly could not pay due to the political crises of the valley and also my salary was with held with deptt as I was transferred from Kargil to Srinagar.Srinagar was closed due to curfew and we were not able to get our salaries.I requested he TMF authrities to help me out I am ready to close the ac on principle amount plus interest till date and other charges levied in the account should be waived off.
                          ..Mr Satish BM.TMF called me from Jammu he was vey polite and spoke to me in a encouraging tone...he suggested me to have some patience till the matter is resolved.
                          But later Mr.waseem called me from srinagar office...he was not speaking in good tone..he was very roude
                          with me...He was not listening to my humble requests..he encouraged me to approach Court rather then comming to an amicable solution.
                          I had repaid to TMF to the best of my capacity..even in the termoil periods and curfew periods of the valley..
                          Mr.Waseem dared me that I have to pay all ODC plus CBC charges and pre closure charges of Rs5000.as per waseem 5000 is a small amount...but for me 5000 means 3 months school fee of my children...
                          I am a middle class lady..whos salary was on hold from my employer due to transfer from Kargil.which is amoung the resons of cheque returns..I have not done a will full default.TMF is a big house and my humble request is to settle my case on the Said amount and indirectly help my family.
                          My husband is idle and is not having any Job.I am having 2 kids and whole responsibility of the family is
                          on my shoulders.
                          I am following my request with the TMF customer care vide i Complaint No.01CUS423788.I had approched the higher authroties of TMF but have not received any revert on my mail requests.

                          Request to consider my request positively.

                          Tata Finance is known to badger their customers and slap them with crazy fines. I guess what else can we expect from a heavy vehicle company. We are not expecting compassion from the financier, we are expecting fairness. They put a penalty and on top of that something called a ODC. Why dont explain all the potholes in the beginning. Haressing women is nothing new to the folks hired by Tata Finance, I guess what they cant show at the big truck owners they show at the Middle Class. If it were not for the name of the Tata group and what they have contributed, no one will step in the direction of the Tata Finance people.
                          Dear madam,

                          I am also faced the same problem with TATA MOTOR FINANCE but what happened is no body will help us due to uncategorised policy ( No control in RBI guidelines) set by the company to our innocent salaried people and even they follow up while we purchase TaTa vehicle only not other vehicle.

                          So, Finally I paid all money for the pre-closure agreement along with pre-loaned interest before 2 year contract.

                          All the people should aware on his loan policy of TATA FINANCE that they will send a bad report to CIPIL dept and have to alert on TMF because no one ( Tata finance representative) will teach or minimum intimation about pre closure given to us before signing in agreement.

                            My sister received a mail from [protected]@tatamotorslimited.com with an appoinment letter for a job in Tata Motors, seeking Rs 8850 towards IDBI bank favouring HR Dept. Authorised A/C.

                            This is a very serious hoax as its misguiding the freshers who are desperate of getting job. Such kind offer from reputed organization can definitly attract anybody to go ahead and try for it by depositing the money and inturn being cheated.
                            Moreover, it will damage the companies image as well.

                            Tatamotors should try to find out the origin of such mail (of course @tatamotorslimited.com cannot be tatamotors mail ID, as it ends with @tatamotors.com) and take punishable action against them.

                              My experience with a company which considers “values are stronger than steel”.
                              In the month of January 2011, I visited Kulathunkal Motors, Trivandrum, the authorized dealers of TATA Motors order a SUMO GRAND. I was shown a car of 2010 October make which was readily available. When I requested the sales staff to clarify the month of manufacture it was categorically stated that it was an October 2010 made car.
                              Convinced about the assurance given by the sales man I paid Rs.2000 on 20th January 2011, as advance for which I was given a voucher. On February 1, 2011 I paid the entire balance amount. No receipt was issued for this payment and instead the cheque amount was just hand written on the previous voucher. My signature was taken on a few unfilled forms with only my name and address saying that the vehicle details will be added only after verification. On 17/02/2011 when I came to take delivery of the vehicle it was found that the defects which were promised to be rectified at the time of delivery remained un attended. As the registration and Insurance were already done I had no other way but to take delivery of the car. It was on the date of delivery that I was given the documents related to the vehicle and the original bill. It was shocking to realise that the make of the car was January 2010 and not October 2010 as explained to me at the time of fixing the deal. I.e. the car has been manufactured more than one year back. The promised discount Rs.100000/- was reduced to Rs.88000. Had I known that it was a Jan 2010 make car I would have never settled for it because these days a car one year old is only worth nearly half the price in the market. Knowing clearly that no one will go for a year old car, what ever discount is offered, TATA Motors dealer deliberately misguided me by deceitfully stating that the vehicle was an Oct 2010 manufactured car. The bills and relevant documents of the vehicle were given to me only on the date of delivery. These papers were prepared much earlier and were not shown to me till delivery of vehicle. They took maximum care in concealing the real manufacturing date of the vehicle. Otherwise the original bill mentioning the date of manufacture of the vehicle and the actual discount given would have been handed over to me at the time of payment itself. This, I think is a clear case of cheating.

                              The way in which I have been cheated made me take the vehicle to an expert to verify what all problems it have due to its more than an year long exposure to sun and rain at the yard. There were flaws in many parts of the body. It was found that all the rubber parts have become brittle. Some of the parts inside and outside the car are either missing, damaged or coming off. One utility box cannot be opened. Rust has started accumulating in some parts and they have been covered up by applying paint. One side of the front portion is out of its alignment and repainted which indicates a possibility of a crash. Rear view mirror is malfunctioning. It was also found that certain parts will need replacement in the near future. Due to its long exposure to sun and rain the quality of rubber inside the seats would have deteriorated. Now both the arm rests are sagging. The car seems to have been used extensively in a careless manner. I had already taken the vehicle to TATA service centre thrice to repair the faulty AC, Power windows and Head lamps.. Now they are saying that the wiring is tampered so it will not be covered under the warranty. One of the head light assembly is shaking and is cracked as well. The Teflon coating and underbody coat which was an offer is done in a very crude manner. Same is the case of the sun film. The film is pasted without even cleaning the glass. Some letters written with chalk is still visible beneath the film. Visibility of Front wind shield during rain is poor due to some sort of white patches spread over the glass and bad performance of the wipers. TATA Service centre has already recommended to change the wiper blade. Day by day problems are arising one by one. When the AC is on smell of smoke is emitting inside the cabin causing uneasiness which I think is a health hazard for the passengers. For a lay man like me with limited knowledge about automobiles these aspects were not noticed. The reputation of TATA Automobiles and its dealers made me believe whatever they say was true. I never had the remotest thought that a reputed firm like TATA would cheat its customers.
                              I have written a complaint to TATA motors after which I received a telephone call from them enquiring my complaint. I requested them not to ask me to take the vehicle to Kulathunkal Motors as I have completely lost faith in them. I requested that a person from TATA motors may be engaged to inspect my vehicle. Inspite of agreeing to this I received a call from Kulathunkal asking me to take the vehicle to them for inspection which I rejected. It is already a month since I have heard from TATA.
                              I decided to buy a new car only to avoid the hassles of maintaining a used car. Due to the mental agony the deal has caused I am unable to use the vehicle with peace of mind. It was my lives saving that I have invested in the car. What ever promises TATA has made is been violated. The dealer has abused the trust I had in them as a dealer of TATA Motors. The date of manufacture of the vehicle was wrongly mentioned to me and the vehicle was not at all in proper condition when it was delivered. All these are clear violation of the sale agreement. And I don’t want my money to go waste on a second hand quality vehicle. I want the car to be replaced with a new one or my money returned back.

                                I am a owner of Indigo Manza and i had purchased it on Dec-09. My car got Accidented in Jun-10 an all Repair work was done by your Authorized dealer M/S Society Motors Kanpur in U.P. After the repair i was facing the Pickup Problem and Complained to Society motors (You can also check on your on road service record, because i had called a on-road service for the same)but when they had handover my car to me the problem was still same. I urgently need to join my Duty in Faridabad so that i came with my car. When i had submitted my car for Service in M/S Triumph Motors in faridabad in Feb or Mar-11, i again reported the same problem, they informed me that the Turbo Charger is Faulty, So i requested to change in Warranty but did not. Again i had given my car for service and reported the same problem and they replied the same about the turbo and denied to replace in warranty. They are giving excuse that the car got accidented so that they cannot give warranty, OK, I agreed, But when my car got accidented and repair done by your service station why the same was not arrested same time and not shown for the insurance claim. Where is the my mistake and why i suffer and why i pay for the same.

                                  I have taken an Indigo CS LXI (White Colour, CAR Registration Number: UP70 BL 7585)
                                  approx. 4 months back. 3 Days back when my family was travelling in the car it started fuming...and suddenly they got out and when they took it to the dealer they said some ECU is required to be replaced which would take 15 days..They would take the same from our car and send to head office for replacement..



                                  Now my question to Tata Motors is:



                                  Why should A car 3 months old give such problems at all… it leaves a scar on TATA Groups and their products and services.



                                  Secondly, who would have been answerable in case of any mis-happening due to use of such out dated parts in a car which is claimed to be one of the best in the segment…

                                      AFTER LODGING MY COMPLAINT ON THE WEB ON 09/07/2011 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE MANGALORE BRANCH OF TMFL ON 11/07/2011 SAYING THAT THEY HAVE MISPLACED THE BLANK CHEQUE GIVEN BY ME. I AM VERY MUCH SURPRISED THAT THIS INFORMATION COULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO ME ATLEAST ONE YEAR BACK. MY QUESTION IS HOW COULD A COMPANY WITH SUCH REPUTE CAN BE SO NEGLIGENT THAT A SECURITY CHEQUE IS MISPLACED. THE WAY THE STAFF ANSWERS IS AS IF THIS IS NOT A BIG ISSUE. I STILL RECOLLECT THE DAY THEY ASKED FOR A SECURITY CHEQUE AND I INITIALY REFUSED FOR HANDING OVER A BLANK CHEQUE FOR THE FEAR OF IT BEING MISUSED OR MISPLACED.THE THEN MANAGER MR. ABHINANDAN JAIN ASSURED ME THAT THE CHEQUE WILL BE SAFE AND WILL BE RETURNED AT THE TIME OF THE CLOSURE OF MY ACCOUNT WITH TMFL.. NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME TO PUT A STOP PAYMENT OF THE CHEQUE. I WOULD LIKE BRING THE NOTICE OF TMFL THAT MY BANK CHARGES ME RS.250/- PER CHEQUE AND I HAVE ALREADY SPENT ATLEAST RS.1000/- TILL NOW SENDING MY STAFF TO TMFL MANGALORE BRANCH FOR THE PAST ONE YEAR. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO IS GOING TO BEAR THIS COST. BECAUSE I AM BEING PENALISED FOR NEGLIGENCE COMMITED BY TMFL.
