My story comes with a heavy heart and disbelief I never thought I would be in a position where I am left with no choice but to take help of social media in order to get some response from TATA, it’s a sad state where I have posted many positive feedbacks and lovely experience of HEXA XTA, I have to admit that those were is mere excitement and now when the actual picture came in front I am deeply saddened.
A few words of my back ground, perhaps I am the oldest fan of TATA in passenger cars starting with their first Indica and then upgraded Indica, followed by Safari storme and now to HEXA XTA. While many o[censored]s may take this as false information so I am even writing the registration number of the vehicles for the verification purposes, perhaps even some TATA guy who is lesser lethargic then the ones who are dealing with me will find time to study the pain.

Every moment of these purchases I have gone through bad referrals from all my known peoples and some of the typical sentences were.
Don’t take Tata product they are terrible in support..
Don’t keep tata car even one day post three years, else it will show its true colors.
Tata Can only make trucks, don’t buy passenger cars.
I really don’t know why I didn’t listen to them and went on purchased TATA cars throughout my life because of many obvious reasons as you all know being supportive of INDIAN company.
This belief and trust of mine has shattered and I have suffered a lot, all troubles of Indica were ignored because let’s give them chances they are new and will gradually improve the platform, promises of SAFARI quality were told to me by the dealer sales team now that TATA is using the expertise of Jaguar and Land rover so be assured of it, however I had huge trouble of AC. Let’s keep the story short and come to current one.
I purchased my HEXA XTA vide number UP14 DJ 3266, on 26 September 2017
March 7th 2020 I found that there is a minute cracking sound when I switch in the AC, out of my aged experience with TATA it was clear that might be a fuse or some issue which I will get it addressed when I visit the workshop. However I did call their customer care 1800 no of 15h March and updated this, I was advised to visit the nearest dealership, one more thing usually we keep the number of workshop people whom we get our cars serviced regularly, in my case it was concorde motors Patparganj but they have shut down shop, so I complaint to their toll free number and these people act like a bot with typical answers.
Thanks to CORONA I couldn’t go to workshop but I was abit relaxed that it was announced that car services shall be extended.
Another major factor was my job comes under essential services and hence I was given an ePass for movement during corona, the ePass needed a car number and it to be pasted on windshield hence I used my other car and HEXA was idle at home as I cannot use both the cars during corona.
I took my HEXA to SAGAR MOTORS Noida on 13th October and I was told that the AC compressor has gone….
The chain of pain started from the same day..
Let me be very clear here that I am not posting this message to save my few thousands but to make people aware the torture I have gone through.
I decided to approach the correct forum which is customer care centralised email, regional manager customer care, dealership all in loop and decided to escalated the request to higher authority if the action is not taken, to my surprise the BEST LETHARGIC TEAM OF Tata Motors didn’t even tried to contact me except the emails which has come from dealership end proposing me discount in repairs.
Can you believe that ?? I now realise that why my friends were opposing going to this brand and also had various apprehensions. All were true..
A 20 Lakh car, meter ticking 47000 Kms only, always serviced on time from dealership has AC compressor gone. And the TATA Support team didn’t even have time to respond, the answer from dealership end is three years have been passed and we guaranteed your vehicle till three years.
Wow, perhaps they didn’t know that the AC compressor of any car be it, has a minimum life of ten years, I would have accepted their arguments if the vehicle would have run more Kms or their might not be CORONA which has forced me not to come out.
I am not surprised now by Tata Motors out of their attitude in taking this case forward. I also heard that we took the case to proper forum of customer care and they rejected.
Rejected ??? as if I am begging for a discount, I just want them to accept the fact that their best CAR HEXA XTA AC compressor can go off in three years and few days.
Just accept this fact that you have fooled us by the name of inheriting jaguar or land lover legacy while selling tata cars and it is nothing but a piece of [censored] which won’t work even 10 days after 3 years.
I will gladly junk this away, but answer this publicly and accept this, you made mockery of me by not following the peoples recommendation not to go for TATA BRAND.
YOU CAN CHANGE THE SHAPE AND NAME OF YOUR PRODUCT, YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE IT HAS WORSEN FROM WORST.
Why should I alone enjoy the humiliation, dear tata motors, please prove that whatever I am saying is not correct or face the firing. Of course I will take you to consumer forum but first taste the social media.
