18th or 19th has come and gone. No callback/feedback from Tata. Even my last message to you was replied to. So I guess I'm wasting my time...

Supply of FuelPump for Tata Nano

Your dealers Wasan Is not keeping stock of above item.Due to which it will take minimum 8days to replace pump. Pl tell me what should I do .My car requires replacement of fuel pump.it was replaced in September 2014.

    I have booked TATA Nano Car and received a letter from Tata Motors Dt. 23rd June 2009 regarding Allotment of Nano Car indicating Unique Identification Number:[protected]which confirmed that I will get delivery between July-September 2009 through A S Moters Gwalior.
    But after lot of reminders till Date A S Motors Gwalior or TATA Moters is not in position to give me delivery status.

    NANO DELIVERY — LATE DELIVERY

    I would like to complain about Tata Motors who promised in writing that I will get Nano Delivery between Oct to Dec 09 and till date they have not selivered the car, moreover denying the interest amount payment of 120000 which thay had taken in the month of July.
    Kindly suggest what I need to do to get this sorted out as I am not getting any prope response from them.
    Its mental harassment on daily basis.
    I have all the proof of communication for delivery date etc.

      I cancelled my TATA NANO booking on 30.09.2009 and as informed waited for 30days but on 30th day i.e. 30.10.2009 i get a call from TATA Pune office asking for my account number, name, address and other details and when i ask the executive why he is taking all the details now, when i was supposed to recv my refund cheque he says sorry and informs me that i will recv my refund chq in 10days. After waiting for 10days i call the call centre and lodge a complaint and below are the facts and i am still waiting for the refund cheque. Today it is 26.11.2009. Still waiting..............

      Gave me number[protected] and asked me to speak to Mr Shivraj. When i called no responds.
      3) Tabeeb on 17.11.2009 @ 10.40 AM on phone no: [protected]
      He says that they don't have a manager in their organisation
      4) Rajender on 19.11.2009 @ 11.50 AM on phone no: [protected]

      6) Tabeeb on 24.11.2009 @11.45 AM said his seniors would call me by 4pm, Did not recv call till date
      7) Prasad on 25.11.2009 @ 10.50 AM said they have forwarded the request and still are awaiting for reponse. (As usual)
      8) Faisad on 25.11.2009 from Head office he has taken my account number, Bank name, IFSC no and address. Said he will check, if cheque is not sent he amount would be transferred directly to my account.

      Today 26.11.2009 : Nothing has happened still waiting for someone from TATA MOTORS to take necessary action. It is one month 26 days till date and no action is taken.

      TATA NANO — Refund on cancellation not received

        Dear Sir,
        I had Booked Tata Nano with full booking amount i.e. Rs.1, 40,200.00 (Booking Amount + Form) from SBI A/C by net banking on April 10, 2009 through on line and after the Draw I recived the allotment letter of Tata Nano and inform me that that they will delivered between April - June 2010. As the delivery of the car will be too late for me, I had applied for the cancellation on 08th Jul 2009 & they allotted me Refn No. EARDQ66210 and ask me to submit all necessary documents at the dealer. As there are no TATA MOTORS dealers in my state MANIPUR, I sent the documents by speed post directly to Mrs. S URSEKAR, Tata Motors Limited, Teen Hath Naka, Gyan Sadhana College Service Road, Thane - Pin No. 400604. But till date I haven’t received my money & I also called Tata nano customer care several times, they told me that it’s under process.
        I therefore request you to kindly help me to refund my booking amount at the earliest.

        TATA MOTORS NANO — BOOKING MONEY REFUND DELAY

        Dear Sir,

        I have also have the same complaints but the full advance money paid by me has been
        accounted for to different Application No. say original No.8787, allottment made for No.
        8887. However, the name and other details are same as outlined in my original
        application form. Who is at fault, SBI (who had collected the application with
        full advance chq or Tata Motors). However, there is no proper reply from Tata
        Motors about the allotment despite reminded them end number of times.
        How to proceed further, your candid view is solicited please. Regards,

          Dear Sir,
          I had booked a Tata Nano LX model. I was kept in retainers's list. Iahd applied for cancellation of my booking on 4th July 2009. Till date I have not received any answer from Tata Nano mamagement gruop for cancellation status on my application. I have been charged Rs 1397 towards the interest on bookibg amount by my financer (Canara Bank). Canara Bank has charged interest due to delay by Tata Nano mgmt on cancellation. How can I get reply from Tata Nano group. This is purly cheating to the small customer. For Ratan Tata this is very small thing but for small customer like me, this is very big and shocking thing. I had sent series of mail to '[protected]@tatamotors.com ' but I am not receiving any answer from this mail I.D. Even cutomer care Executive are knowingly avoid our complints and not reply any message to me. My dealer has also raised hand due to unnecessary delaying policy of tata motors. Dealer clearly told that I have to corrospond directly to Tata motors on this issue. My UIN no. is[protected] and Cancellation referance number is BAPST 46525. I have made several calls to the call centre with a promise everytime that i will receive a cheque within a week. Now asking about the status of my refund cheque they say that my car is not cancelled that is cancellation refrence number. Now my question is How is it possible that I received various communication from Tata Nano ?

          dear sir, i booked my nano on 23 june 2009, the delivery time was given in the month of january 2010. thereafter i had remmited the full amount with tata motors, i was promised by the dealer then, that i was going to get the interest amount on the regular basis, quarterly.thereafter i received a cheque worth re.2776.58 but due to delay in posting and i being transferred to bhopal it could reach me beyond expiry date. after lot efforts i succeeded to get it date modified.i wnat to clarify that after september 2009, it is now more than8 months have gone away and i have not received a single cheque thereafter. i had lot many times called at poone, finally my complaint was lodged on[protected], no-00003.i request you to do the needfull in this matter as earliest as you can. thanking you ----anil kumar geete [protected]

          Dear Team,

          Against my above reference for Nano Booking, necessary formalities and amount payable has already been completed on 07-Aug-10 with the dealer R.D.Motors. It was been committed by the dealer that car will be provide with 15 days after completion of the formalities.

          However, it is unfortunate that delivery for the car is not yet been done even after a month. No communication has been made from the dealers end for the such delays. On trying to contact the dealer, vague responses were given that the car is not ready due to some reasons or other.

          Request your urgent intervention for delivery of the car at the earliest.

          I would like to put forth following incident for your information and needful action :

           I had booked 2 nano cars with you in June’09 and had been allotted both the cars for deliveries in 1st & 2nd Quarter of 2010.,
           A few months ago I have taken the delivery of 1st allotment which is in fact in the name of my wife Ashwini Patwardhan,
           Subsequently on 10/07/2010, I submitted all the relevant documents, duly giving details of cancellation reference (obtained from your call centre), as asked for by your dealer Sanghi Brothers Indore, to them .for which I had been given acknowledgment also by your dealer,
           Thereafter as had been told by Sanghi Motors, in 2nd week of August I contacted your call centre, to check the status of refund of amount and to my surprise I understand that no documents have been received by you from your dealer,
           Again while approaching to your dealer, it was revealed that all documents were till then (16/08/2010) lying with them, for which no convincing reply I could get.
           Then on 16/08/2010 they forwarded the papers to you, and I was told that I will have to wait for 30 to 40 days which is a normal processing time needed for refund of amount,
           Past few days again I am in touch of your call, centre and the gist of communications had is as under :
          - About 10 days before while approaching to your call centre, I was told that the refund case is in process and will be cleared in a week’s time,
          - Yesterday for checking the status when I called up, one Mr Kishan picked up my call and said my address is incomplete ( whereas in cancellation form, I do have copy with me, the address is written up to postal pin code ), any way I tried to give him full address again which he did not take, instead asked me to communicate my bank account details with name, address & IFSC Code of the my bank,
          - Today I again dialed up your call centre to give details as asked for yesterday and the person attending to me said no more details are needed and your case has been processed for refund and I will get the payment through cheque at my address with in 7 days time,

          I am really disheartened to witness such an irresponsible behavior from the persons belongs to a company of having such a wonderful rapport in the market. Also in process an amount of Rs1.40 lac is blocked..

          I have cancelled my booking for tatanano and submitted documents ton 13.8.2010 through dealor and i was told that processing will take a month or so and at any cost amount will be refunded in 45 days. i have waited patiently till 19.10.2010 and contacted call centre. Receipt of my request was confirmed and the case is being processed, i was told.As per the advise I sent email to [protected]@tatamotors on 20.10.10 and was replied that case is under process, inconvenience is regretted. since then i am in touch with call centre every week and every time the routine reply " case is under process, refund will be reaching you by next week" I don't know 'how many months (not days) for a week the TATAs are having? I reproduce the recent email dt.16.11.2010 ---'refer to your email dt.26.10.10. No progress is seen till date. Your call center also contain no information about refund status than saying ' is under process, will be receiving by next week' the same routine is repeated for the past 20 days. It is surprise to note that the call center[protected] person advises me to go to financer(BANK) and enquire where as I have cleared all dues and enclosed the certificate (in the statement of account it self)from Sr.Manager of SBI to that effect. This information also not updated with call center! Just like a parrot they are uttering the routine replies with out giving the real status of the refund like by what date it will be dispatched and to which address etc? It was promissed to refund within 45 days but now 90 days are over and still your people are not in a position to confirm the status ! Does the 'Ideal man' ( I really mean it ) who did not enter the airlines business just because he was not comfirtable with idea of bribing a minister with 15 crores knows this lethorgy on your part? Even you din't bother to reply to my email sent a week back. If the refund is not arranged immediately I may be forced to approach consumer forum for payment with interest. My UID is[protected] and submitted all documents on 13.Aug.2010 along with Loan Clearance certificate also. (90 days over !)           since then every alternet day i am calling the call center but the same tape is rewinded ' case is under process and will be reaching you iby next week. surprisingly there is no communication over email despite my repeated complaintsthrough mail.Did the corporate sector surviving on such delayed refunds cheating the individuals?             I thought of buying a NANO car and booked online through Carwale.com. One of the executive had visited my residence and told me to sign in the form and he also told me that if in case i am not alloted a car i can either get my money deposited (4,349.00 rupees) back else can carry over to next allotment. I told him i need my money back if in case it is not alloted. I had recieved a message to my mobile stating i was not one among the people who has been alloted a car and my money would be refunded with in 45 days, now when i check with the concerned person he is stating the amount cannot be refunded as it is for thier interest amount. below is the communication which i have done with them. Please do look into this ASAP and help me in this regard.

            Kindly note that the terms and conditions of booking a Tata Nano car was laid down by Tata Motors and the same was available in the application form. Information on process of booking was also available on the website, through call centre & at all dealer locations of Tata Motors.

            Payment of 95000/120000/140000 was required to be made to Tata Motors based on the model of Tata Nano of your choice. And this information was made available in the booking application form.

            Secondly, you are not liable to pay any amount in case of non-allotment of the car.

            When I had discussed with your executive who had come to get the application form filled, he clearly stated to me that there are only 2 options if in case booking is not allotted.

            1. Either the amount would be refunded to me (refunded to my account directly from TATA)
            2. or the same would be carried forward to next allotment.

            I informed him that I am ready to pay full amount by cash and purchase the car, he told me there is no option of making payment as full payment. Any one who would like to go for a car should go through only the process what he informed to me. He also told me nothing to worry about the money as this would be refunded in case the allotment was not made. He was in a hurry and informed me that I have to just sign and he would fill up the application form.

            Would like to confirm you that if he had discussed about the details below either I would have not gone for an allotment or would have paid in full. Please be informed that even I am financially good and I just wanted that I should be the first person to purchase this car in my office. Hence made the payment.

            I need a response on this immediately and I feel this is the right time for me to go to consumer court as I am not happy with the way you have cheated me.

            My questions are:

            With respect to your query, please note that your booking was financed by Tata Capital Ltd. In case you had to book a Nano on your own, from your own source, you had to pay Rs.95000 / 120,000 / 140,000 directly to Tata Motors. And in case the booking was not allotted, the same would have been refunded to you fully by Tata Motors Ltd.

            However, in your case since the booking amount was financed, you had to pay only Rs. 4349-00 which was accounted as under :

            Interest on booking amount (140,000) : Rs.3299-00
            Processing fee of Tata Capital Ltd : Rs. 500-00
            Processing fee of Tata Motors Ltd : Rs. 500-00
            Stamp Charges : Rs. 50-00

            This is non-refundable and the same was mentioned in the loan application form too.

            This is really making me annoyed that the commitment which was given to me when I applied for the NANO car and not keeping up the commitment. If it was informed to me earlier that my amount would not be refunded I would have never applied for the same. At the time of filling up the form it was clearly communicated to me that if in case I am not one among the allotment my amount would be refunded on time and also I had received a message stating I was not in the lucky dip and my amount would be credited to my account with in 45 days. Now it is being brought to my notice that I will not be refunded.

            As you should be aware that 4,349 rupees is not a small amount (especially for me) and request your interference in this and ensure my amount is credited back to my account else I would be forced to go to consumer court.

              I recieved a allotment letter stated that the car will be delivered between Jan 2011 and March 2011.
              I can not wait till that time , so i cancelled it on 11 July 2009

              I gave the cancellation documents to Bhooma automobiles , Saligram, Chennai on 11 July 2009.
              Still I did not receive the refund amount of 140000 Rs or any response from TATA motors even I sent several mails.

              NO response of calling the Nano call center[protected] .

              70 days passed after my cancellation , the amount should have recieved within 30 days of cancellation date.
              TATA motors should pay the refund with the interest , i am suffering a lot because of this nano...

              We also had booked Tata Nano Car. The dealer informed us that the car will be delivered in the year 2011. So we submitted the cancellation form of Tata Nano Car through the dealer to Tata Motors in the 1st week of July. AS per the agreement, it is mentioned that money will be refunded within 15 days to cancellation registered with Tata Motors. Now it is more than 3 months and we are strugging to get any update. Any time we call the call center in Pune, they say that we will escalate this matter. In reality, they dont escalate nor other to do anything as it is a outsourced call center of Tata Motors and doesnt have any information.

              Is there any law that can help us ... as Tata Motors is not going to pay us interest on the money kept with them...

              This is very unfortunate that TATA NANO response to refund your advance booking amount. The total system about advance payment on booking oa TATA NANO, very very late allotment date of delivery, refund respose on withdrawal etc. I don't what is the motive of TATA Motors regarding Nano Deliver.

              Why so much delay? Are they require additional amount for early delivery? If so, tell. TATA Motors should give full effort to early delivery of TATA NANO. They should delivery the car within this year 2009 to all the people who have booked with advance payment.

              Tata Nano Car — non refund of my booking amount

              I have booked a nano car through State Bank of India , Mammallan nagar branch, Kancheepuram,Tamil nadu.
              When I am booking they said you have to pay Rs 3300/, If you are not getting the allotment the amount will be refund to your account.
              Last 3 months back I am getting a message from TATA motors stating that your application was not selected for allotment.
              But so far I am not getting the booking amount Rs.3300/. I contact the SBI call centre (mentioned in the application form for refunding) so many times but they didn't give me correct answer.

              I have booked Nano car on line UIN:[protected] on 9-4-009.on allotment I was told it will be delivered during oct-Nov2010.on enquiry in March2010 I was told that on road the cost of bare vehicle is Rs.1,59,600 which I canot bear.I was also told that I have purchase everything (like insurence etc.) only as per their instructions-not of my choice.I hav cancelled the booking (Ref:NGREG--51005) on[protected].As per the order i am supposed to get back my refund with in thirty days. Please instruct the company to return my mony with at least bank interest at the earliest as i want the money to perform a marriage.

              Consider yourself lucky that you cancelled your allotment and you will receive the Refund someday. Consider our plight. Less than 5 months old Tata Nano LX and run less than 3000 Kms. (i use it sparingly). Two weeks ago received a phone call from Concorde Motors (dealership owned by Tata Motors) asking me to take the car to OMR Check point, a service dealer in Chennai, as there was a "Recall Notice" of the Wiring Kit, and as my car is still under warranty, they will replace the wiring kit free of cost. I took the car in and it was done - "free of cost". The very next time I drove the Car out, the rear of the car burst into flames !!! Luckily i was in a busy & crowded junction and the people gathered around, poured sand etc and put out the fire. Called the 24-hour hotline and OMR Check point came in and towed the car etc. Now, after their inspection, they say that there was an "EXternal Object" - a plastic sheet, was found in the engine compartment which melted and caused the wiring kit to burn. So, it was my fault and they want me to pay for the repairs. It is obvious that they had carelessly left behind the plastic sheet when they replaced the wiring kit. But how do I prove this ? (1) I run the risk of being burnt alive in this Nano and (2) I have to pay for repairs every time the car burns --- what a bad deal ! am very sad i bought Nano.

                I have booked Tata Nano vide UIN no[protected] for rs140000/ and submited my form in SBI borivili branch. unfortunately i have not been selected , when i enquire in Tata motors office they told me that my chq has been despatched fromj SBI in July 09 by DTDc courrier . and asked me to enquire in SBI andheri office . I had called several time but no positive reply they gave me. then again i called up Tata motors office and talked to Me ketan rathord he also no idea about my chq. I thought i had made a mistake booking a Tata Nano in my wife's name. Mr Tata you have done a mistake enganging SBi as your booking agent. lastly I got a no [protected] from call centre of Mr Kaushik Mukherjee who lis a wonderfull person listen my full problem and told me that he will find my consignment and ensure that i will get my refund within 2 days.
                Now after somany followup with Tata motors and SBI I got my refund and my thanks to Mr Kaushik Mukherjee because of him i got my refund.
                My complain is why tata motors does have a proper customer cell to attend customer problem I also ask when tata motors will give us interest for delay refund.

                TATA NANO — Refund

                It is a big shame on the tata nano and the tata group for not refunding the booking amount. i paid 120000 upfront and was not selected in the draw. it has been more than an year and still i dint get the money. Do they know the value of hard earned money of a middle class person.

                Tatas are taking the undue advantage of the peoples money. If they want to do the business in this way they are not going to survive long. It s simply unethical.

                I have been calling them since than with no proper action. And the call center people always makes false promises, every time they assure me that in a week it would be done. It has been 40 weeks and these fricking guys one week is not over.

                I have stopped using Tata products and I will continue to do so, even after I get my money.

                It is a pain in the ... (where you know) when your money is struck when you need it. I needed the money multiple times during this time and I have go nuts arranging it.

                Total jerks and arseholes.

                I can use all the bad words in the dictionary and Tatas deserve them.

                Why dont they beg insted of playing with the middle class peoples life, who work hard to gather money.

                    I booked a Tata Nano Latest Model online and paid the full booking amount Rs.1, 40,000. The UIN No for my booking is[protected].

                    I applied for cancellation and submitted all relevant documents to Fortune Cars on 7th July 2009. I was given a cancellation reference number ZVAZQ-63341. I submitted a cancellation form, the allotment letter, and ID proof copy to the local dealer Fortune Cars shiravane 7th July , 2009. They gave me a copy of the cancellation form, signed and stamped, as proof.

                    I called the Tata Motors call center many times but did not got any feedback, Later on I called fortune cars Shiravane they stated that Mr. Manoj Arora is the right person who takes care of refund. In spite of repeatedly calling Mr. Manoj Arora nothing has happened. I tried to find out the status of my refund at many places every time I get new phone number and contact persons name but nothing happens and was unable to get a status. I observed everybody is passing the call. There is no follow-up happening.

                    I booked a Tata Nano LX online and paid the full booking amount. The UIN for my booking is 22000xxxx.

                    I received an allotment letter dated 23rd June 2009 letting me know that I be getting delivery of a Nano LX between January-March 2011. Since I did not want to wait for the car so long, I canceled the allotment by calling the call center number[protected]. I was given a cancellation reference number. I submitted a cancellation form, the allotment letter, and ID proof copy to the local dealer on July 7th, 2009. They gave me a copy of the cancellation form, signed and stamped, as proof.

                    I called the Tata Motors call center 2 weeks later to find out the status of my refund and was unable to get a status. I was asked to call back during the first week of August. I called the call center on August 1st and was asked to call the following numbers in Mumbai->

                    I was able to get through to one of the numbers after trying for more than an hour. A lady picked up the phone and asked me for my UIN number. She said that the UIN always starts with 11. I told her that my UIN starts with 22. She said that was incorrect and asked for a number that starts with 11. She then gave me another number to contact and directed me to a Mr. Ashok Jadav -> [protected]. When I called this number I was directed to call another number -> [protected] for a Mr. Kaushik Mukherjee. I was unable to get through to him.

                    I have been calling the call center and the other numbers on a weekly basis and I am unable to get any information or status.

                    Tata has lost it's brand trust. With this experience, I swear to stay away from any Tata product.
                    I am travelling in the same boat. I am a senior citizen in my seventies and my 1, 40, 000 rupees is held up with them. No body gives any information. I have sent three emails and they do not have the courtesy to acknowledge them even. God help those who are going to buy this car and deal with the Company.Probabely some body should make a Forum to get our refund. Our trust in Tatas has taken a beating.

                    Tata Motors — No refund on cancellation of tata nano

                    I booked a Tata Nano Model from nearest TML dealership and paid the full booking amount Rs.95,000.The UIN No. for my booking is[protected].I applied for cancellation and submitted all relevant documents to Fortune Cars on 6th July 2009. I was given a cancellation reference number TVXBP.45102. I submitted a cancellation form, the allotment letter, and ID proof copy to the local dealer Sanghi Brothers 6th July , 2009. They gave me a copy of the cancellation form, signed and stamped, as proof.

                    I have cancelled my booking on 15th of July and they told they will refund in 15 days.I have been calling them (customer care) every alternate day and till now I never got a proper response.I tried calling one day and the line got cut.So I called again the information first person gave and second person gave was entirely different.I have my 140000 help with them.
                    i have cancilled my booking on 16 july i have been calling to customercare but they have not provided me proper information about my cancillation and refund of money .so please provide me accurate information .
                    At last we have received our money with the help of MUKHERJEE K [ Manager (Accounts), Mumbai Corporate, Thane ]. His mail id is [protected]@tatamotors.com, he is a very helpful person when we called he redirected us to[protected] /[protected] and with in two days we have recieved our money directly to my ICICI account.

                    Thanks to the person who gave me Kaushik's number in the above comment, he/she is the one who helped us to start with. Hope the information given above will helpful to those who are still awaiting for their money.
                    It seems nobody is taking action on the posted complaints. Somebody has to read the complaint and take apropriate action other wise there is no point in posting complaint on this site

                    I am a winner of tata nano cx model and expected date of delivery is july-sep'09. My UIN is[protected].
                    Till date I didnot receive the allotment letter which I was supposed to receive within 15 days of announcement of the draw as claimed by tata motors. I complained to call centre regading the same several time but yet to receive the allotment letter. Also I wrote to tata nano product group, Mumbai and sent by speed post on 03.09.2009 but till date no response from the address.
                    Non-receipt of Allotment letter may invite trouble for me during delivery.

                    Why so much complaints on NANO - in terms of refunding...Why the public is trying to cancel their Booking
                    this nothing due in my case they said the cheque could not be delivered and they kept the cheque for 3 months and then gave it and now the cheque is timebarred now they tell us to again send it to tata motors Thane for refund, i am telling you tata motors is good for nothing and can never succed in retail, whatever they have launched in retail is totally failure for so many year they are selling indica till date they are not number one, they can only preach tata code of conduct, tbem and all bull.

                    Unfortunately the chairman is a visionery but his bunch of executioners are good for nothing

                    This is to inform you that i have applied for a Tata nano by booking advance mony through UBI Bank nagaon Assam on April 2009.I Was allotted a Tata nano against the said booking.Even after a lapse of few month i got no intimation for delivery of the Vehicle.Out of frustration and finding no other alternative i applied for cancellation of my booking for the month of may/o[protected] through UBI Bank nagaon Assam.UBI Bank also sent a leeter to you for refunding amount.Thereafter Oct/09 my advance booking amount was refunded by Tata motors company.It is therfore clear that i had to wait for long month for no fault of my Own and for abnormal delay of the Company.But now Bank was Charged Bank interest By me approximate Rs 26000.Now i m Sorry to say u that What can i do.i therefore request you that the interest amount of the loan for booking amount should be borne by the company only since the money was in there acccount without fulfilling there committment timely.

                      I have booked TAT Nano Car and received a letter from Cargo Tata Motors Dt. 23rd June 2009 regarding Allotment of Nano Car indicating Unique Identification Number:[protected] & also letter from Cargo Motors Pvt. ltd. Dt. 4th Jul 2009 indicating same Identification Number:[protected] and informed me to deposit balance amount before 15th July 2009. I have deposited the balance amount on 13th August 2009. At the time of lunching the Nano Car at Ahmedabad, Cargo Motors has conform me to delivered the car on or before 15th august 2009 but after lot of reminders till Cargo Motors Ahmedabad is not in position to give me delivery status.

                      We have cancelled the booking of tata nano app no:[protected], we have cancelled tata nano on 7/7/2009 till date we have not received our refund money.

                      we have contacted the customer care and they informed that they have sent the cheque through blue dart courier, when we contacted the courier they informed that the cheque have been returned back .

                      we request you to kindly check the matter, after cancelationits 2 months and we are not receiving our money back.

                      we are facing very poor respone from the customer care.
                      Under these circumstances with not a car on the road in our area we doubt whether they are are capable of delivering .
                      2. we are still to take test drive on this new design & everything new how it performs is still a doubt which the Tata management is not bothered about. We believed on Tata 's image & assurance & you review on the Car show & paid 1.2lacs hard earned money from fixed deposited & waiting...
                      3. If they are not returning the money it is a serious problem.

                        I m Hifzur Rehman Booked Tata Nano with full booking amount i.e. Rs. 1, 40, 000. Form no.[protected] and after the Draw i recived the allotment letter of Tata Nano that they will deliver the Car in Aug 2010. So it is too late for me and thats why i canceled the booking of Tata Nano, and asked for refund along with all neccessary documents on 04/07/2009. and after that they asked me that your refund said amound will be deliver within 30 days of the date of cancelation. after 30 days I have`nt recived any refund and than i called to customer care for refund and than they asked me to wait till 10 of August. i waited but i haven`t recived any refund on 10 of august than i again called to customer care for refund than again they are saying that it is under process, and just wait for some days and you wil recieve soon. and now its 18 of August and i havent recived any refund . for me Rs.1, 40, 000 is not a small amount and i need it for my work.

                          I FEEL THERE IS A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT BY THIS COMPANY TO DELAY THE REFUNDS( WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETED BY 25.07.09) AND GET AWAY BY PAYING NIL INTEREST TO PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO BELIEVED THIS COMPANY BASED ON REPUTATION.                           I agree with you. I have been calling the Tata motors call center[protected] to check on the status of my refund cheque for the past 4 weeks and they keep telling me that refund will be sent next week, blah blah blah. I got vexed with their answer and asked for a supervisor and then was given a Mumbai number to check on the refund status. Tried calling the Mumbai number and no one picks up.

                          Tata motors set up a website to collect payments. Why can't they setup a website to provide status of refunds? They were quick to collect payments yet late in paying back. This a deliberate attempt to generate additional revenue by keeping the deposit amount for an extra-ordinarily long period. To the hell with Tata Nano. I can't wait for 2 years and get an outdated/overpriced car. I am sure other automakers will come up with similar configurations with better features for the same price by then.
                          I agree with you both even i booked the nano car on 22/4/2009 at 0952 am by paying Rs 120200 on online through ICICI Bank net transaction vide UIN[protected].Tata hasn't set up any mechanism to refund the amount.I think they have collected all of our money to pay the balance of jaguar deal.they know how to deal with other peoples money.I expect at least a proper answer from their dedicated call centre and exact date of refund.they have been telling since 25th of this month that the cheque has been despatched last week itself which in turn shows our postal dept in bad light.Mr Ratan Tata pl look in to this immedeately and tell your employees not to tell lie and to reply to the mail immedeately
                          i also have the same problem. they are just deferring the refund process.
                          I completely agree with you, TATA has collected 2500 Crore from only from the Nano booking, And they are deliberately delaying the refund. And customer care also are not confirming the date, today when I called up they told they will start sendig the cheque after 10th of August. Its look like TATA is already running out of money and they want to keep the people money as long as possible. I heared they launch mini appartlent scemes also, I advise the people not to get invloved in any kind of deal with TATA.
                          I think Ratan Tata has dream of " sabka paisa apna" . So if you get your money even by august after four months of booking, you will be lucky.

                          I am frustrated because of retaining the money. I opted to refund the amount and still have been put in retainee's list.

                          Here is the cheating..

                          1. Results were declared on 24 or 25 june.
                          2. Inspite of being unsuccessfull and opting for refund, retained money forcefully. CHEATING No -1
                          3. On customer care they say you have undergo through cancalletion - CHEATING No - 2
                          4. Cancellation will start on July 1 - CHEATING no 3.
                          5. Go to dealer and fill the cancellation form from july 1. After reaching to dealer we found forms are not available to any dealer CHEATING no 4. Forms were availabe after 7th and Even according to this blog at some dealers these were not available till 18 july.
                          6. Amount will come be cheque where as they have taken an extra cancelled cheque for refund by electronic transfer CHEATING no 5

                          Anyways he was supposed to eatup the interest of 90 days. By delaying he might be using it for 120 days.

                          One month ago My brother wanted to get an internet connection. He lives in a remote area and currently there are only 2 service providers...BSNL and Tata..for BSNL you need a Lanline so it was almost decided to go for Tata Indicom USB.

                          After this incident we havne bough any connection so far. I think Tata has already lost the cost of one month subscription and as mentioned I/We are ot going to buy any Tata product.

                          does anyone know what are the other numbers apart from[protected] where we can inquire about the refund? the call center individual in this number simply gives a ready-made answer that you will be getting your refund back in a week. for the last 15 days, i was inquiring about the refund daily, wasting my hard-earned money on mobile phone numbers. finally, the call center individual said that my check was sent, but i din't receive the check. while inquiring again, they asked me to check www.dtdc.com and find out about the delivery. now, since i don't have a computer with me, i asked the call center individual to check it out and let me know. the reply was that i need to find out about it myself. the result is i have not yet received my check. this is the service we are getting from one of the respected company - i am made to go from the pillar to post to receive my hard-earned money (i am a pensioner). so, if anyone knows the number of "higher-ups" where we can pour out our difficulties/grievances.

I was told it would take thirty days for the refund to be credited. There is no sign of any email, or any reciept from TATA Motors till date. On complining over the tele line, I was told to check back after a week. Is this a joke? SOMEBODY SHOULD TAKE THESE GUYS TO THE COURT.
                          I have booked tata nano base model and my booking no. is[protected] but due to long delay i cancelled it on 6.7.09 i approached guinea motors patna 25 times and spent Rs 175 0n calling to customer care and every reply given by them is i 'll get surely but still I have not get my 95000/- back.If i'll not get it back soon than either i'll suicide in guinea motors patna or i'll go to the consumer forum .                           I am totally disappointed with the Tatas too just like so many others. This is something totally unexpected, specially coming from the Tatas, but it is very obvious that they are trying to siphon off money of ordinary, powerless people.

                          The call center agents are being used to shield the real thieves. I called them 6 times and everytime they give a new excuse for not processing the refund. I had filed for cancellation on the 1st day - July 1, 2009 with Concorde Motors.

                          Finally, after losing my patience and called every possible number listed on the Tata Motors website and finally got to Mr S.Krishna (Business Unit - Passenger Cars) in Mumbai[protected]/6615 8402.

                          He gave me 2 numbers of people in his office - Virat[protected] and Shikha Gupta[protected] who he said would be able to help me.

                          I am working with Virat right now who has assured a speedy redressal (within 24 hours).
                          I will update the visitors on my status.

                          But do go ahead and first call Mr Krishnan, so that he, being a higher-up is keep updated with what is going on in his company and let him redirect you to the staff in his office.

                          I am a foolish Indian citizen who booked TATA NANO. Please see the front and back page the booking form. This is not free, I have to spend Rs. 300/- for this form. In the innocent front page of this form , I gave my full bank details and opted very clearly that if I do not get allotment within first 1,00,000 allottees , refund should be done through ECS. I paid Rs. 95,000/- and the amount was deducted from my account within a couple of days. It was seen after allotment that I was not within this 1,00,000 allottees , still TATA MOTORS allotted me a car for an abnormal future date and retained my money. As I opted clearly to refund my booking amount, I hoped to receive the amount to my account through ECS. Things was not happened like this way………. Now, I am going to tell you my painful experience in this matter.
                          1. As I am not within 1,00,000 allottees and in spite of very clear option of refund, my money was retained by Tata Motors. I surprised that after my clear-cut option , how is it
                          possible ? Then I again read the application form and discover that some Section 4 of Terms & Condition was involved with this, where Tata Motors can retain booking amount . If they have intention to retain booking amount , why they have given the option of ECS refund in the front page ? As a common man , I was misguided that, if I do not get allotment , I will get back my money shortly. But, I was fool enough not to imagine that a clear-cut option can have some complicated intention.
                          2. So, I was forced to follow a peculiar cancellation process. I called TATA NANO Call Center on[protected] and generated a cancellation reference number. Please note that from Kolkata , it is a STD call and I have to pay charges for every call. As a part of this cancellation process , I submitted all documents to R.D.Motors, TATA MOTORS Dealer on[protected]
                          3. Then, considering the reputation of the company , I hoped to get back my money shortly and checked my account frequently. But nothing had come. Spending my own money I used to call almost every day to Call center, but they had no information about my money. So I asked them to give contact details of refund section . It is seen that they do not know the nos. The most surprising and peculiar thing of the Call Center is that they even do not know any contact nos. of it’s own corporate office ( i.e. Corporate office of TATA MOTORS).You can just make a call to the TATA Nano call center number[protected] to reveal the truth.
                          4. Then I collected some common contact nos. of TATA MOTORS corporate office and tried to tell them my problem. They always misguided me. Even if they refused to tell their
                          identity and contact nos. of refund section.
                          5.Finally, on [protected] , call Center gave me a cheque number of the refund amount and told me that the cheque will be sending within 7 days. I surprised with this cheque story ,that instead of ECS , why TATA MOTORS had gone to this delay making process ? What is the intention behind it?
                          6. On[protected] at 18:40 hrs. , R.D.Motors ( TATA MOTORS Dealer ) called me to my mobile and threatened me for retention. The man on the opposite side told me very clearly that TATA MOTORS is not going to refund in any case, so it is better to retain the booking.
                          7. At this juncture, I did not believe that TATA MOTORS can do this. I confused and again called the Call Center on[protected]. Thanks to god, they have given me a Bluedart docket no. and told me that my cheque was already dispatched.
                          8. Surprise ……. Surprise ……. Surprise ……… . I called Bluedart Kolkata office and asked them about the particular docket no. They told me that the shipment has returned to it’s origin 0n[protected]. After query, it was revealed that some mistake was there in my address and my telephone no. was not at all mentioned. Here you can note that , I gave my full postal address , which is sufficient to reach a simple post card and also my mobile number. The main question is that why to follow all this cheque, Bluedart, dispatch procedure, whereas they have every details for ECS.
                          9. Then it was found from the web site of Bluedart that the above mentioned shipment was dispatched from Pune on[protected] and returned to Pune on[protected].
                          10.Now please go through the sequence.
                          i) Call Center had no dispatched information before[protected].
                          ii) R.D.Motors called me on[protected].
                          iii) Call Center knew only the cheque no. on[protected].
                          iv) Not writing my mob. No. in the envelope containing the cheque.
                          v) TATA MOTORS did not contact me at any stage of refund.
                          11. All this above actions of TATA MOTORS indicates that they have no intention to
                          refund my money.
                          12. So, as a general people , what can I did ? The only option was there to contact the call center. Today is[protected], the reply of the call center during last one month is also very peculiar ‘ you will be getting your cheque within one week through Speed Post ’ . Kindly note that call center has no information about date of dispatch and Speed Post docket number.
                          13. During last couple of months , I sent a number of letters to the email address of Nano( [protected]@tatamotors.com) , it is only giving out of office reply.
                          So, kindly imagine my condition, my father-in-law is in hospital for some extremely critical orthopedic operation and I have no money for his treatment. At this position I feel that I have done a very great mistake to book a Nano car with full amount. I heartily request all Indian citizen to advice me about how to get the money back and how to save myself from any type of conspiracy.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I have cancelled my Tata Nano LX booking on the 7th of September. Its been 2 months now and there is not update on the status of the check. I have paid 1lk 20thousand which is a huge amount.
                          I have a complaint no. give my the customer service center, which is[protected]KR031109. But which is of absolutely no use. Every time you call the contact center, the only answer we get is please wait for 10 days.Then you call on the 11th day, you get a response, you would need to wait for 20days from the day of giving the complaint number. This is the worse customer service anyone can get AND VERY DISAPPOINTING ITS FROM A REPUTED COMPANY LIKE TATA MOTORS.

                          Would please recommand that there is some action taken and we receive our check at the earliest.

                          I'm sure there are hurdred others who are going through the same situation. There has to be some initiative taken atleast now by Tata Motor returning our money back. Day by day, the company is nothing but loosing its reputation.

                          Tata Nano — Non-refund of booking amount

                          I booked a Tata Nano car and paid Rs.1,40,000/- along with application (No.[protected]. Received an SMS on 25/06/09 and upon visiting Nano website, I came to know that i was not allotted. Expected that the Tata company will refund the amount within three months of closure of allotment to my account directly as they have collected a cancelled cheque as well to have clarity on account details. To my dismay, till now they have not returned the amount either to my account or to the postal address despite two telephone calls as complaint which was registered and an e-mail complaint. Tat is not keeping its reputation by such acts and hope they will realise it soon. If i do not get a proper response and refund within ten days from now, I may have to look other options open to me.

As per their terms and conditions, the amount would be refunded within a month, however neither amount nor any convincing reply is received from them. This type of delay/cheating is not expected from a reputed organisation. It is not known whether the hard earned money will be refunded to me. Instead of looting money in this manner, they can stop the business and do some political work so as to earn/rob public money as they expected.                           I booked Tata nano on the first day. uin no is[protected]. I got allottment .and I cancelled the allottment on[protected].cancellation no is RSTVZ81740. WITH THE CANCELLATION NO we submitted all documents to concord motors on[protected]. As per the website of Tata nano We are suppose to get the refund within 30 days. As we didnot not get anything from Tata motors, we called the call centre on[protected] and they said they have not received any documents from concord motors and asked us to enquire with concord motors. When I went to concord motors on[protected] they said they have sent the documents to Tata motors and they can't do anything. On 08.03.2010 I went to concord motors and called the pune call centre of Tata motors and asked them to talk to concord motors people. Now the call centre person say the booking is not cancelled fully and it will take another 45 days. The concord motor person say you you fill up the cancellation forms again and give it. I refused because I have the proof of cancellation from concord dated[protected]. Now both the call centre and concord motors are not helping us. We don't know where to go for help. We paid Rs.1, 20, 200/- on line from my ICICI A/C AND BOOKED ON LINE. the refund is delayed beyond a reasonable period without any reason .please help.
                          This amount earns interest for Tata motors and nil for the people who booked it.

                          I had booked for a Nano from Tata motors via SBI Attingal Branch vide Regn num:[protected] dt.09.04.2009.by paying Rs.3499/-
                          I came to know that I was not allotted with a car. But I was unaware that the amount which I paid was not refundable and it was actually a Loan processing fee which the Bank intially didnt inform me or any of the customers.
                          At an average 1lac customer would have been denied the allotment since I understand that the booking was oversuscribed 10times Pan india.Rs. 3500 x 1 lac customer is a whopping 35 cr, which the Bank and probably Tata motors have swallowed and this money is showing as profit in the Balance sheet of both the companies
                          Is RBI and MRTPC watching this? Is this righteous on the part of a PSU and a reputed company like Tata to cheat the citizens of India this way?

                          I have same experience with tatamotors. Till today i haven't received any interest cheque. I received sms from tata motors asking me to correct my postal address, interesting thing is that i have received other corrospondence on same address. it is now two monts i have cancelled the booking and waiting for refund. nither dealer nor customercare are giving any definate answer. One have to really think on what type of service you can receive from these people if you buy any car from them.

                          Sir,my complaint no.1-[protected] is assigned to lexus motors ltd-3002150 is this. I want to say that i am not getting any reply from lexus motors about my manual & service book. so,I want you to look into this matter and do the needful as possible.

                          Tata Nano Interest Cheque — Not receiving the interest cheque from Tata Nano from One Year

                          After retaining the Tata Nano booking, the customer is supposed to have received interest cheques every quarter from the Tata Motors Limited unitl the car is delivered. Even after making umpteen complaints to the Tata Nano call centre, they didn' take any action. Finally when I threatened to go to Press, they sent 2 cheques out of the 3 cheques to be received ( quarters considering from July 2009 to July 2010). The very first interest cheque has not been sent still.


                          It has been a year since I am awaiting for the first interest cheque and there has been no action taken from Tata Nano Motors team.
                          we have informed that Our Tata nano will be delivered to us in month of june'10. When we have contact our Dealer, every time he said it is in transit. Till today, the car is in transit...No body knows where it is. Every time dealer is giving new date of delivery.
                          Kindly suggest what happen to delivery of car.

As per the terms and condition mentioned in the application from, we were supposed to receive refund with in 30 days. More then 50 days have since elapsed, but refund has not came . I have queried through the telephone several times and every time we were told the check is under process.
                          Such in inefficiencies of operations is not expected from the reputed house of TATA. As per the terms and conditions Rs 3000.00 are to be deducted from our refund amount because we applied for refund after 60 days. This is really ridiculous on your part. Its been 4 months since the cancellation and whenever I call the customer care they are unaware of the status for the same. For a company of Tata group this is not expected. As we know Tata group sets really high standards in terms of customer satisfaction. If these are the high standards then I am sorry to say that the standards are really low and below par.

                          I request you to release my payment as soon possible. and I request you to look into the matter on serious note so that other customers like me dont face the same problem.
                          I have been calling the Tata motors call center[protected] to check on the status of my refund cheque for the past 6 weeks and they keep telling me that refund will be sent next week, blah blah blah.                           Tata has cheated the faith of INDIANS on tata, its hard to understand why they are not interested in refunding the money if they can't deliver nano in some defined time limits.
                          If they have production limits they must refund the money back, as its not reasonable enough for all to wait for their turn and stick to their plans . The urge of people to have one lakh car, caused enormous number of bookings and was also the reason for the majority to loose their money.
                          One more ridiculous fact !! my delivery date was about one and a half year post booking and now the car is available for open sale in showrooms. If i would have known it earlier that car will be available after one and a half year or two, why should i have done so many booking exercises and lost my money????
                          ALL I KNOW IS THAT I GOT NOTHING IN LIEU OF MY LOST MONEY, EXCEPT WAITING AND LOOSING..

                          K B Motors Kolkata / Tata Nano Car — complaint regarding delivery

                          a nano car model Lx was booked by me in Dec 2010 through a nano sales camp at Kharagpur, West Bengal. Full amount was paid by cheque by the second week of Jan 11 to KB Motors Kolkata for delivery of the nano by Jan end since the vehicle was required to be presented to my wife on her birthday by 01 Feb 11. The contact person for KB Motors in Kharagpur Mr Muneesh informed that the vehicle would be reaching Kharagpur from Kolkata in two days after payment. Every week false promises were made saying that the vehicle will be reaching the next day. From Jan 11 last week onwards, each day on contact it would be told that the vehicle is reaching today whereas it never came.Then finally on 01 Feb after repeated calls by 2030 in the night after nearly 50 odd telephone calls to the manager of KB Motors in Kolkata and the local contact person a slightly used nano driven 3500 km was handed over to me for the completion of the birthday formalities and promising that the new vehicle would be delivered by the next day morn . The vehicle was handed over in a dirty , unclean and non presentable state. This car was given just to complete the birthday gift presentation formalities on this promise that it would be changed the next morning. After this after repeated calls the people do not answer and when they answer they say it is reaching you today only. This is being told for the last two days.Eventually it is said you can cancel your car and take your money back
                          I would like to know is this the way a multicrore company like Tata works?
                          Is this what is called customer satisfaction ?
                          Is this the way to ensure customer satisfaction ?
                          I would like Tata Automobiles to look into the matter and redress my complaint immediately before i approach the Consumer Forum for the same.

                          we had booked TATA NANO CX BS2 Lunar Silver on 25/04/09, whose payment was withdrawn from our account on 12/06/09. under the booking clause on non-delivery in first 1,00,000 nano cars, our amount was to be refunded. it has been 2 years and no progress has been done with respect to our refund. The dealer just gives us next follow up date each time we visit the dealer showroom. the regional officers and the bombay head office have received our numerous mails, but no relief as of now.
                          we even have sent then account transfer copy, bank statements and even sent respective mails they asked us to send and have copy of same as proof, but no help.
                          they are not even informing us about the interest rates and saying that we shall not have any interest rate on the same.
                          spending hours at the show room in lieu of meeting the concerned person, we leave empty handed as the tell us the officer is busy and has left. we hope to seek justice.

                          this amount may be minute to the company but is important to middle class families like us.

                          Tata Nano — Bad Service from auth. workshop

                          My father aged 83 yrs own a tata nano 2009 model .We went to Autolinks for some running repair problem . They kept the car for 6 days &yet the A.C problem is there.The worst part is they returned the car with fresh dents due to their staffs careless driving which they were not ready to accept.
                          I have delivered my nano car no.WB06E8481 to BINANI AUTOMOBILES PVT.LTD...165, B.L. Saha Road kolkata-700053 on 30th July for replacement of clutch which is a days job. Along with the clutch one flywheel is required to be changed which they don't have any stock. I have further been informed they have indented at their Pune unit to send the flywheel at their workshop. It is about two weeks the vehicle is lying at their workshop for the spare. I am surprised how long it takes to receive a small spare within our country at this modern age. Kindly inform the latest position to my mail regarding above.                             My wife booked a Tata Nano and after 3 months we got a letter saying that allotment would be in Jan 2001 at the price prevailing at that point in time. This was ceratinly not what we understood when we booked initially. Anyway, we canceled immediately and submitted all the required documents at the Tata Motors dealer. Now it's been more than 30 days since cancellation and no payment received from Tata Motors. Worse still, when we call the Call Center we get no status from the Call Center and after inisiting on a Tata Motors / Nano office phone no. we got two phone numbers which NO ONE picks up even though i have been trying from yesterday evening onward till now (1.00 PM Aug 11).

                            How could Mr. Ratan Tata allow this to happen? I have always sworn by the Tata Group but the current Chairman and his Senior team (esp Tata Motors head) seem hell-bent on dragging the Tata name down to the mud. Obviously, the Tata Group is in serious cash crunch with their Jaguar - Land Rover misadventure which is why freebie offers on Tata Indicon are being thrown in for advance payment alongwith shameful way of holding onto consumer money with schemes like Tata Nano. What a shame, Tatas !!!
                            I am also facing same issue. I cancelled booking of Nano, however at the end of 1 month Tata has not refunded my 1.40 lacs. My UIN:[protected]. My dealer is Concorde motors, bangalore.

                            Same here. I got a refund checque, with the account number messed up. I had paid via ICICI bank net banking, which meant
                            a) the refund was to be direct back to the same account, and
                            b) they should have the right account number because my booking form says so correctly.

                            Wonder if all these are little ploys to delay parting with the money.

I am expecting reply from Tata Nano on my booking amount Rs.140000+Rs.4000 paid towards the booking of Nano LX. Why Ratan Tata is not taking care of complaints on nano cancellation? After all most of the people who had booked nano are from middle class & lower middle class family. Quick resolution is expected from Mr.Ratan Tata.

                              when i called CS again on 9thSeptember they have provided a number and said it is with bludart, and i called up bluedart they told me it has been dispatched from pune on 28 August, and consignment is returned to origin due to nonavailability of recipient,

                              How can TATA motors people can send a consignment without docket number.

                              i think TATA and BLUEDART are merged together and cheating people.

                              and CS people saying again we need to write a letter(not email) to Mumbai to reclaim.

                              Customer Service people are not at all professional.

                              My TATA NANO BOOKING APPLICATION NO.[protected]. IN THE NAME OF VINNAKOTA VENKATA SANKAR RAO. I have paid the booking amount of Rs.120, 000/- from my own sources and it has been alloted and to be delivered through M/S Swapna Motors Bhubaneswar, during January to March 2011. I left Bhubanesawar on 29th July to Bangalore and till date ie. 23rd October I am at Bangalore on 13th October caually I loged on to www.tatanano.com sight and surprised to note that my booking was cancelled.All the relevent documents and my identity for delivery PAN CARD is with me. On enqiry to Coustomer Care Center I was told it was cancelled on 23rd September. As such I have also contacted the dealer giving details to which they have said what ever needed is communicated to M/S Tata Motors. As per advise of Coustomer Care Center I have posted a hard copy of my letter and also e-mail on 15th October.
                              To day ie. on 23rd October when I contated the dealer over phone from Bangalore, he is avoiding the moment he came to know my identity and disconnecting the phone. When contacted Coustomer Care Center the reply was I have to go to BHUBANESAWAR and to contact the dealer and refused to give any other phone numbers of his superiors.and that they are not responsible for it.
                              As such again I have sent a e-mail to day.to restore the position and advise to my mobile or e-mail
                              Now I am unable to understand what to do, it seems to be I have invited a problem by investing Rs.1.20, 000/- of my own funds and prepared to wait until March 2011 and subjected to a unauthorised cancellation and the silent attitude on the part of dealer as well as M/S Tata Motors.
                              Who are responsible for this mess, who will bare the loss of interest and deduction of penality for cancellation.in case the booking is not restored .When will they pay the money perhaps THE GOD only knows. I am a retired Banker, it seems to me as if it is a way to raise funds for company needs and fool the applicants itelegently.

                                I had booked a tata nano through ICICI bank - Booking/Loan a/c No LLMUM[protected] and allotment letter No[protected]. I have been allotted the car and have been informed that I will get the car between Apr 2010 to Jun 2010. As per the ICICI letter, they have demanded the repayment of facilityl amount of Rs 1, 40, 000.00 by 20 Jul 09and have informed that they would finance this car only if my ITR is Rs 5 lakh during last two years. This condition was never indicated anywhere at the time of booking of the vehicle through them. this amounts to nullifying the allotment and denial of vehicle to me. I may state that I am a gazetted officer of central gove employed under Ministry of Defence and drawing Rs 37, 000/- as monthly emolouments. There can be no reason to deny the loan facility to me.
                                2. From the above, it is clear that the bank is playing big fraud on Nano allottees. I request you to look into the matter immediately and advise me accordingly.

                                My self prabhakar, Hyderabad, faced similar exp.. icici bank not giving loan for nano, that is the principal which they are not discloseing.. lucky I got personal loan from syndicate bank @12% intrest, where if my icici car loan accepted I could pay @ 15.95% ... we should avoid such banks .. think for alternate methods.. nationalised banks are working better thank pvt banks...
                                ICICI bank also did the same fraud to me. They have taken 4000 rupees form me as booking advance. and after allotment of my car (UIN =[protected], now they deny to give loan. as per them they are interested for full payment only. The condition was never indicated. they are also saying that the 4000 rupees is not refundable if i fail to pay 1, 40, 000 INR.
                                Sir,
                                On 27.10.09, I had complained for not receiving the tata nano allotment letter till date.
                                On 29.10.09(today) I have been contacted by the concerned dealer and infirmed that my allotment letter has been received and to collect the same.
                                My earlier complain may please be treated as cancelled.

                                  We got the information from the Concord motors Kochi - that, the on road price of TATA nano LX is Rs.1, 85, 000 - on road. But now, they says- we have to pay 2laks on road for the car. We are really confused.
                                  I got informed on the booking date itself by Concorde Motors, Kochi as the Ex-Showroom Price as Rs.1, 83, 150/- Insurance will be Rs. 4, 542/- and Road Tax will be Rs.10, 990/-. If Registration is Temporary the fee will be Rs.1, 500/- and for Permanent Registration fee will be Rs.3, 000/-

                                  All people's can see the Tata Nano Website also the Price is Rs.1, 83, 150/- for the Nano LX BSIII
                                  So this blame will not stand.

                                  Regarding the Concorde Motors, Kochi - They are not the people like what we see.
                                  Once I got the allotment letter (I'm one of the luckiest to get the Nano LX BSIII Champagne Gold during the first quarter ie. July-Sep 2009) They contacted me immediately on the allotment and on 14th July they collected the money in full even with Insurance amount and Temp. registration fee. (Rest of the Initial booking amount Rs.1, 40, 000/-). As I prefer to register locally at my area, the road tax and Permanent Registration fee I hold in hand, So the rest Rs.49, 192/- I paid them on 14th July 2009. Thereafter till date they do not contacted from their side.

                                  I received an SMS showing that the vehicle available for delivery and I contacted them and they responded as they do not have any such information from Tata Motors and all they knew is they have the vehicle is ready at Tata Motors facility and the Transit takes another 7 more days once loaded on to truck, Also they take 3 days time to unload, make PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) and to get Temp. Registration. They says the delivery will be done before 30th Sep. 2009 anyway, that only they can say regarding this.

                                  As TATA owned Concorde Motors says so, how the rest dealers behave???

                                  So I'm waiting with lot much confusions... Because I have to approach the same dealer for the Service and after care support and how do they behave to me.
                                  I am also facing the same problem . My Nano delivery between July-Sept 2009. Tata Nano BS-3 Racing Red. I paid the balance Rs.50, 504/- To Hyson Motors Trichur on[protected] thinking that the Nano will be delivered in July 2009. But till date no respond from the TataMotors or from the dealer about the date of delivery.I am totaly confused and wasted much time over Nano.The on the road Price for my Car is Rs.145504/- which I have already paid 6 months back.It is a non A/C BS-3 Model.When contcted Tata Call center every time differnce in their answer no one is responsible at the centre .3 month back one man told me that my car has been booked / despatched to Trichur.

                                  The same thing happened to me. I am from mumbai. I was supposed to get my car between july-sept. I have paid the required money in full to Concorde motors prabhadevi mumbai. Asking about the delivery people at concorde give various lies. They have been lying since the very first day. November is over and there is still no progress. Concorde and tata motor call center are lying people who trusted then the most. I don't see a good future for Tata motors.

                                    Not giving back refund amount of Rs 140000/- for cancellation of Tata Neno car. I send the cancellation application with all Doc's as per the company cancellation policy on[protected] & still waiting for the cheque but no body in the compay ready to give customer right information.
