I have purchased Tata Photon Plus connection in the last week of April 2011. They had the corporate offer foer our comnpany MKCL, Pune. According to this offer, the MKCL employees were supposed to get the 2 months rental n usage of 2 GB free. My network connection started fronm 29th April 2011. In May 2011, I recievced first bill of Rs 500 + taxes. I immediately contacted the person who sold us the offer and device. He assured that he will waive the bill immediately. In first week of June I recieved another bill for second month which showed the pending bill payment of privious month. Again i made the complaint and again I was assured that I will get 2 months bill waiver.But then after 15th June my acount was disconnected giving the reason of nonpayment of bill. then again made the compliant to the same person on phone and also to the consumer support. connection was reset in 3 days. after thta again within one week the connection was terminated for the same reason. I started recieving calls for paynment of bills. For about more than one month I am facing this disonnection problem and and every now and th en i am getting calls for bill payment. it has become my duty to keep on calling various persons and to the customer support. Everytime they register my complaint. then within 2-3 days, the connection resets and again in next 2-3 days it gets d due to non payment of bills. Now about 2 days back again recieved a call asking me for the bill payment. I told the lady on call that I have filed a complaint regading this bill and I hope it will get resolved. her answer was 'do you know, how much is rthe bill pending? if you have enjoyed the internet service then you have to pay for this. apko kuch sharm nahi aai kya itana istemal karate waqt?' That is the worst experience I have got from this company. I am all frustated with this connection.

    Hi All,

    Never purchase TATA PHOTON+, I bought it a month ago and was stunned by commitment they give before buying and the result I got after purchasing. On the web site its clearly shown that you get 3.1 Mpbs before bundled usage, and 155 Kbps after Bundled usage. But in reality, I got only 90 kbps inside Bundled usage and 15 kbps after bundled usage. This is hell of a lot of difference in what they have mentioned on their website. Also after calling customer care, they always give you Complaint number and nothing else, your speed will be same through out the process. Nothing happens. My heartily request to all you guys, please don't buy TATA PHOTON+ ever.

      My data card no. is [protected], i had complaint about connectivity, you had tried several times finally you have changed data card ,but it is not connecting . your technician has said to me that you have to format tour laptop so i have done and also install new a/v.then two times i have recharge rs. 250/ voucher to check connectivity. but not success pl.check immidiately because i am wasting my money in recharge to check only connectivity, not using single a minute internet browsing. pl. note my contact no.       Pl. try immidiately to connect my data card because when i purchase it was connecting very easily, so not reason to it is not connecting in my laptop, as your technician was telling.

      Dont reply with your messages, instead of resolving the problem, you just reply back with your kind messages and [censored]ing assistance. I dont need your assistance and messages, just increase my speed as i mentioned above in my message. You dont commit anything and send these messages without resolving the customer problem, from where the hell you have learned that. increase my speed to 155 kbps as mentioned on your website, currently i am getting 10 time slower, 15 kbps. what the hell is this service, put customer service in your .

          I have purchased tata photon plus postpaid.I started using from yesterday but i am getting less than 100k speed as per your plan i should get min 2 MBPS but instead i am getting less than 100k. i bought this for my office work. i am not able to do any work using this .... could you please look into this asap.

          Tata Photon + — Very Low Speed

          I bought a Tata Photon + on 31st July 2009 having number [protected] and account number[protected].

          After using the photon I found that speed is very very low. I contacted customer support they gave me various settiing but couldnot increase the speed. The speed I was getting was in the range of 100 to 300 kbps. This was tested from the website provided by Tata support executive. The complaint was registered vide email on august 10 2009 vide docket number[protected].

          Various executive visited my house, changed various setting in the computer but could not increase the speed. They checked with 2-3 computers at various locations in house and even used their own laptop to check but of no avail.

          On complaining to nodal office on august 11 2009 he closed the call informing me that speed between 256 kbps to 600 kbps is Ok. and had no explanation why my Photon is working so slow.

          On appealling to to Applleate Authority vide no.[protected] dated 14th October 2009 I am yet to receive any answer.

          I hv stopped using the connection and is running around to get my refund from the comapny, for this expensive white elephant where the ad claims speed upto 3.1 MBPs but comapny says it is not possible.
          I totally agree with you. I am also facing the same problem. The company executives them self said that there was a network issue in my area and the problem was from their end, but still they dont have any provision of returning the modem for which we pay almost Rs. 4k. Really sick and tired of their service.

          They are only intrested in money. the complaint has remained unresolved for last 3 months. The complaint to appellate authority is still pending. But they want there money without resolving the complaint.
          i am using this photon plus for about a month and a half and the speed was slow ,i tested it many times ,so was done on the phone by the call assistents.but of no use.someone was even ready to come to home but didnt respond .so please tell me how to get them physically to check the problem.

          My complaint is about the Tata Photon Plus broadband service. i bought it 3 months back ever since i am suffering from the very very low speed. though the product promises high speed of 3.1 mbps but it is not giving more that 7~15kbps. i have complained few times but no use they just acknowledge ur complain& then after two day close saying it is resolved. actually it is not. it is the worst net service to use.

          GUYS PLEASE DONOT USE TATA PHOTON PLUS , IT IS WORST NETWORK TO USE. BETTER BUY SOMEOTHER PRODUCT.

          TATA PHOTON PLUS IS THE MOST WORST PRODUCT TO USE.

          This is just a statement always the company makes, I have the similar problem like this but my device speed keeps floating in between 0.09 mbps to 0.15 mbps, whenever i have compained regarding this customer care says we cann't take the complaint as it is prepaid account. How is it possible that customer care does not take complaint for prepaid. I have taken connection some four months back and the thrice(three days) the speed has crossed 1.2 mbps. And during my Postpaid period company never called back and the speed never crossed morethan 0.41mbs. I raised the complained by going to the store as of now i haven't recieved any call and nobody has come to me as i m handicap, even stating this to customer service they ask me to go to the outlet and lodge the complaint. The company which even doesnt think how a handicap person can go to outlet and lodge the comlaint.

            My internet speed was damn slow on 12.07.2011. Try to download a purchased antivirus of 108 MB and it was downloading at speed of 12 kbps. I called customer care three times within one hours but they are simply useless. Sugeesting to clean up disk and reinstalling software. I called again on wednesday but didnt get any help. After that i launched a complain in tata photon plus help desk[protected] & "Pamela" told me that before thursday night their technical engineer will visit and resolve my speed issue. But even today at 10.15 AM when i called that lady again she told me that she will check. Feel cheated because I am paying Rs. 950 per month for net connection and still these people are treating us like a bunch of . Need help, these tata photon customer care peoples are simply useless and service they assure to provide is baseless.

            Now I don't believe anyone from Tata Photon Plus because you people gave me baseless and false assurance of service. Your arrogant and shameless customer care agents have kept my call on hold for more than 20 minutes or refused to transfer when I wanna talk to their manager. They simply gave me excuses that "we have network problem for last few days" or "re-install your software again" and worst was "restart your computer". If you want, I have name of few agent who did this. Will you take any disciplinary action against them. I don't think you will do this. Your zonal office representative told me that she is helpless because she is depend on other person for service. How can you give commitment of service when your team is not capable.

            I have called your hyderabad branch office today but they are also like your customer care representative. Told me that they will call me after 5 minutes at 10:10 AM, I am wondering now can you people spoil "Tata Group" Brand name. You people have resolve four complain regarding net issue within 1 or 2 days without any solution.

            Now I am waiting for my detail phone bill of this month so I will have a proof regarding my calls a various level to tata photon plus.

            Never ever experienced this type of service in any form from any service provider company. Extremely disappointed with this kind of behavior.
            Check your database before insulting any lady on such forum with salutation like this.
            WT[censored] Technical engineer came to resolve my problem has turn off smart firewall of Norton... Is this service you have assured me to provide??? Disappeared within few second after doing some like disk clean up, re-installing google chrome and turned off smart firewall of purchased antivirus.. Why don't you people give new excuse that Norton's smart firewall is blocking Tata Photon Plus speed.

            Not getting speed for which I am paying 950 bugs. I have already make-up my mind to disconnect this connect after you people's attitude and service. Worst customer care agent are seating in your office, they don't have manners, etiquette and behave arrogantly.

            Now I will make sure that to give damn negative feedback to anyone who ask me about your service. Thank you TATA PHOTON PLUS, it was damn frustrating and biggest mistake to be your customer.

              I am jayesh Kumar m j, i am using tata photon whiz since one and half year
              My Photon whiz No is -- [protected].When i taken that conncetion, tata indicom executive was saying that
              max. speed of tata photon whiz is 153.6Kbps.But that time i am getting maxi [i think so] still last 1 mounth the speed 3 to 4 Kbps.some times that not move
              Regarding it i registered three complaints so meny times

              Coplaints no is 312683 ,[protected]

              But issue not yet resolved.


              .Every Month I Use To Recharge 550 its Unlimited Plan

              I raised a complaint with the call center agent If They Lisen This Kind Qurey They Wil Cut The Cal,En Wen Ever Month Am Faceing Same Problem promised that I would get

              them had called me back. Now when I call the call center for updates on my complaint they inform me that it has been closed and they are not ready to give proper

              explanation.

              Already i contacted showroom exicutive , customercare exicutive and your technician.But all ares listen to me. But Problem not solved stil date.

                i am photon plus postpaid user.i have purchased ur device on offer of purchasing of acer laptop.i got it @ worth Rs750 and 1 month free usage on 28 may 2011.but when i opened my account on 9 july to watch how much data i have used it shows that much data which i have not used. i am in dinjan cantt. 10 km away from tinsukia city and i am getting a speed of whiz whis in tata photon zone and do you think in whiz speed how 1 can use more than 2 gb with downloading speed in 800bytes to 5kbps?why i have to pay for that which i have not used?on asking from customer care that why i have recieved bill in free(offer period) month they are unable to make me understand that what is the issue and i advised him to you speak to me in hindi if you have any problem while making me understand,he said he dont know hindi?what a shame for this company and their employee that they dont know their own language in their own country how they will handle the customers.i would request the company either take any action on my bill or please disconnect my photon service how ever it is in free 1 month use which is over.i dont want such a bad service provider which takes time and money both but give only tension and nothing else.i will be thankfull to that employee, who will save me from this matter.

                  heyy my name is kamal bhutani...actually mai apna tata photon plus ka device disconnect karna chahta tha...q ki mai 3 months ke liye out of delhi ja raha tha...maine tata ke customer care pe call kiya,and kaha ki mujhe apna tata photon plus kuchh time period ke liye band karwana hai...mai baad me dubara activate kara lunga..unhone mujhse kuchh information collect ki like tata photon number,dob,address detail etc to confirm my details...uske baad 30 minutes tak unhone mujhe pareshaan kiya...
                  sir aap band kyu karwa rahe hai..
                  sir koi chhota plan le lijiye...
                  sir mai 3 mahine ke liye stoppage me daal deta hu jiska rent sirf 75 rs per month aayega...
                  sir jaha aap ja rahe hai waha bhi chalega tata photon plus
                  sir disconnect karane ka koi solid reason batao...
                  sir aap ruko mai apne manager se baat karata hu aapki....
                  sir plzzzz mat band karao...
                  sir aap dobara call karo...
                  sir mai aapka call hold pe daal sakta hu 1 min. ke liye...par mai 10 min. ke liye hold par raha...
                  sir aapko kuchh discounted plans bata deta hu...
                  fir end me sir aapka 7 days ke andar band ho jayega...
                  ab ye batao 7 days ka bill kon pay karega....plzzz contact me asap

                    There was a wrong information provided by customer care of tata photon whiz to me about the monthly internet recharges.

                    on 09/July/2011

                    i call to customer care to ask about the recharge amount for unlimited internet, then they told me that i can Recharge by Rs.299/- but after that when i recharged it and start using it then after 2 hours my Internet stop working and my core balance becomes negative.
                    then i again call to customer care for that problem then he said to me that the Recharge of Rs.299/- is valid for Home zone areas and my location is not under that zone. But previously that Home zone information was not provided to me . customer care also said to me that the Recharge of Rs.299/- not becomes void for your location. so now if i want to use that internet then i have to Further Recharge with Rs.555/-.
                    so now conclusion is that i lose my Rs.299/- due to only because of wrong information which was wholly provided by customer care.
                    when i asked them for any alternative to use that recharge then they said to me that there was no alternative.

                    and i also have all call recording about that conversation.

                    and My TATA PHOTON WHIZ no. is [protected]
                    and my no. is [protected].

                    So kindly return my money back and solve my that serious problem.

                      I am giving this complaint after so much frustation from Tata Photon plus customer care people. I have send so many mail from past 7 months to them. Still now I didn't the things [Bag] I supposed to get.

                        This is BR SINGH from DoomDooma post sukreting and I am Tata Photon Whiz prepaid service since last 2 yrs but before 15 days I have changed my room shifted to sukreting post DoomDooma. I am facing very difficulty to surfing(internet) because of bad network or no network .moreover I tried to call customer care but its more difficult to call.I am fed up with this casual approach towards providing better services to their customers by Tatatelecom services in Tinsukia DoomDooma.

                        I don't know, how can tatatele services comparing with others in terms of better network coverage?...

                        kindly release the gain of nearest tower of my location. I hope Tata Network Provider will take necessary steps ...otherwise they will become bad service provider and also they will loose their credibility .

                            They have not honoured business commitment and feel bad for placing order with you.

                            1) As confirmed by them, written order confirmation has to be forwarded after my confirmation. Not done after my repeat emails.
                            2) Payment was made on 24.06.2011 and the Cheque was deposited on 28.06.2011 by their rep., with an Delay of 2 working days.
                            3) Payment was credited to their account on Wed (29.06.11) afternoon.
                            4) As per the commitment, product should be delivered within 2 hrs of payment.
                            5) Still now, it was not delivered and the local representative talk rubbish.


                            We are totally dissatisfied with the service and would like to cancel the order. Requested to return Rs 5000/- immediately.

                            No Response event after talking to them (Tel No. [protected]). They operate web site in the name www.connectindia.com

                              my postpaid connection no was [protected], which i got in sept 2009, all were going well and smooth till local dealer/retailer did unwanted behaviour with me when he exchanged my number with the number [protected] saying that it is a new device [older was red & black and the new was blue], later i came to know that it was a malpractice by him, all were recorded by your chandigarh office, after that the local dealer/retailer returned my original number, and he stopped to let me know my bill position by phone, initially he did not record my right e-mail id also, so i decided to close my connection and for that i handed over an application on a plane paper to the local dealer/retailer in first fortnight of dec 2010 [do not remember the date] ,but now deleting my old emails i have come to know that there was a mail for feb 2011 bill of the number which i did not use after december 2010, is it not the duty of the local dealer/retailer to give me receipt of the application without my demand , myself also want to know that what action taken against the local dealer/retailer for the device/number changing malpractise


                              all about the matter i have complained on line two days ago but today found that ''the matter has been closed that no requests received for disconnection ''

                                I have taken the internet services (data card) of tata photon plus 2 months back. But they have not provided me the appropriate services. I applied for the best connection which was worth 1100 per month with the speed of 3 mbps. But they dint provided any services. I bought two connections and neither of connections working properly. I also complained many times but their was no response from there side. Due to this I have to bear heavy losses in office work. This company is also liable for my all other losses. The customer care people also talked in a harsh manner with me. If I have paid the amount I am liable to take the services. They are the worst services provider. Please see through my complain and please help me out. I want my money back. It would be a very great support from the indian government if they will help us. I will be very thank full to your services. Please sir help me out.

                                  'Matrix Communications' Kilavasal, Madurai 9 sold me a Photon plus modem and said we are booked for a unlimited package. However my connection was cut in just 8 days with a message that I exceeded my usage limit. I then came to know after repeated phone calls that it was not an unlimited plan and i had to pay extra charges. i then discontinued my subscription. Again in the next month I recieved a bill for Rs. 800. After another dozen of phone calls they cancelled my connection again. On the whole i had to pay more than 2000 rupees for nothing.

                                    DO NOT GO FOR TATA TELECOM PRODUCTS. My experience is :No.[protected]. I requested Tata Tele Services to close and disconnect my TATA Photon plus connection because I was not happy with their service. On 1.6.2011, they sent me an email to pay Rs.824/- to close the connection. I remitted on 02.06.2011 and confirmed to them through email. They did not respond. Now they raised one more bill and asking me to pay again. The customer service is very bad. They are harping on bill payment of the closed disconnected TATA Photon plus connection. Nowhere I found such begging over the closed account. Ther service is also very bad. I lodged my complaints through their website but of no use. Kindly advise them to close the unnecessary correspondence and unsolicited emails about the closed connection.

                                      i have purchase a Tata photon+ device from Tata Dealer/distributor VIRTI INFOCOM PVT LTD.in the date of 18.06 2011
                                      Now the problem is my device not working because deactivation of device. I have called many time at his contact number[protected]/94) but any body not responding my phone/not pickup my phone, before calling of VIRTI INFOCOM i had called tata customer service his executive said first you call your dealer they have not submit you ducoments yet in tata.
                                      I kindly request to you please do the needfull.

                                        myself applied for tata photon whiz on 25 sept 2009, the device given to me was of having number [protected] and used it for a long time, the local dealer boy sunny used to telephone me for the bill and myself paid all the dues, meanwhile sunny plays a trick with me that new device is given to me on a concessional price , he took the old device and gave me the new number , when a call came to me rom chandigarh that the latter number is of some kalpana, and for that some man from jodhpur intermediated and the bill was adjusted, after that myself asked sunny to disconnect my connection as i have taken MTS number for mbrowse in december 2010...but surprised to find the feb 2011 bill of rs 982 for the period i have never used ..kindly take necessary action for the deed performed by the company
