I had bought a Tata photon plus data card from Sairam communication Potheri on 28th march 2011.after ten days it is not connect , I had visited shopkeeper , she had checked it but not success to connect it.

She has told me to go customer care point Tambaram. I had visited two times but they can't do anything , I know the problem is in data card but they are not want to change it. what can we do in this case , actually i have decided to go consumer court finally,
send report to all national news papers, and request him to highlight the case.so that company charmara jaye salo ki, fraud karte hai consumer ke sath.

    I have already registered my complaint stated below. I would like to mention that after my Post To Pre conversion, my access to MyAccount is also not working. I tried to create new one with prepaid category, but no use.

    Below is my first complaint.

    "My name is Suresh T. My connection [protected], Photon Plus was postpaid initially.I have given request to change it to prepaid on[protected]. There after my postpaid got Inactive and I am not able to connect it to get internet yet[protected].
    I contacted tata office at Menaka Ernakulam and got the response that you have to recharge it. So I did an online recharge for Rs. 700 on[protected]Payment Id[protected].But my account got debited and no recharge happened. Then i went to Tata office at Menaka on[protected]. They told me they have raised one complaint and my photon will get recharged within 24 Hrs. But till now there is no response."

    Dear Sir,

    Thanks to the employees who are working for sorting out my problem.
    My online payment which was not credited to my tata photon has been refunded to my account.

    Yesterday I talked to one of the customer care executive.
    Thanks to him who was patient enough to hear my problems and he had solved my MyAccount login issue.

    Also I will be looking forward for the activation of my tata Photon, Which is not working now, after post to pre conversion, according to him will be sorted out before 16/05/2011.

    Yes, Tata seems to be fooling people or they have a genuine problem with their internal systems.

    I am trying to do an online recharge. Yesterday I tried but the system said that I either put in a wrong no. or selected wrong product. Fools! I did everything correctly. I selected the tata photon recharge option before typing my no. Today when I tried I got to the recharge voucher page, but after selecting the value I came to a page indicating "Oops! Page not found" How can a customer rely on them for online recharge with the above described sort of service.

    Further, they provide usage details but they do not show the prepaid balance anywhere. After a online recharge the customer gets a receipt but he doesn't still know what is happening in their internal systems. This is clear lack of transparency. They are only fooling the public with their consumer / customer charter .

    Troubled.

      TATA Photon Whiz — slow

      hey mangru mere slow chal raha hai akal a ke ghar mai thik kardena

      i am using tataphoton whiz, the speed of tataphoton whiz is very slow. plese tell me how can i get fast internet speed in tataphoton whiz.

      when a company like TATA CHEATS then i have no where to go.i opted for tata photon whiz connection in ambala station on pure name sake & promise of adequate speed. i am receiving a speed of 1-3 kbps instead of average 60-70 kbps promised by dealer.i complained and reply was problem in laptop . i checked with other tnternet sevice providers at least speed was much better.pl advice

      sir i am very sad to take this internet service . i m a student i want to take speed upto 2 or 3 mbps but when i connect it to my to my pc its speed is 130kbps sir i canot take it plese solve my problem as soon as possible my phone whiz no. is [protected] sir solve this problem.

      I have just bought this TATA PHOTON WHIZ five days back and till yet i did't get a speed above 15kbps rather at the time purchasing he was assuring a speed of 150kbps.
      I am little bit surprised why a company like TATA is on false committment to the customer.
      Even RATAN tata has proven its every commitment about nano but i feel in TATA TELECOMMUNICATION somebody is just pushing the new launches at the cost of QUALITY.
      Please don't try to break faith in people about TATA .

        We buy the 2 Tata photon stick for our office use we found the stick is not working insted of paying the bill we try to communicate with local supplier as well as the service provider but unfortunatly we couldn't get the fare and decent reply from them and our services still don't working.

              Dear sir,

              This is to inform you that i am writing this email regarding transaction problem that i have faced with my prepaid tata photon number:[protected].
              My subscription was to end on 5 may 2011, so in order to recharge it i used your "ichoose" website transaction steps on 4 may 2011. At the end of the transaction there was some error in the site and they showed that the transaction had been complete, but its not been reflected in my records and a sum of rupees "700" has been charged on the credit card for this transaction that i was ordering for.
              so the summary is i have been charged 700 rupees but my recharge is not yet done. i m a student so its very hard for me to go without internet. I chatted with ur customer care and they are the ones who provided me with email as i was not provided with any transaction id during the transaction or in my mail.
              please do the needfull as early as possible.

                its worthless, no need to complain , they dont resolve the problem , I am having problrm since feb 2011, when ever i complained. they call me for the technical changes in my computer.Unfortunately i give up for tata photon plus & ask them to disconnect, they give me some offers & ask to wait till 31st march, Now its 5th may 2011 the problem is there only. ITS WORTH TO BUY TATA PHOTON PLUS ITS WASTAGE OR YOUR PRESIUS MONEY.

                    Again when I ask him to transfer the call to any of the Floor Supervisors or any team lead he transfer the call to Ms.Savitha when I spoken to her she said that she was floor Supervisor she was spoken me around 15 mints includes of 6 mint hold again she transfer the call to Mr.Karthik he disconnect the call.

                    When again call to the same no Mr.Madava has pick the call and he said that he will transfer the call to Team leader but the same executives are round off the call with the wrong attitude so when I said her to transfer she said in telugu to one of his Collogue that (novvu team leader anni chappi mataladu) tell him that ur the team leader and speak, for my goodness the Headset is kept in mute and I listen the thing from them

                    I strongly feel that none o[censored]r Executive have professionalism instated of Corporate I fell like a Fish market, Whatever they want they can do. No one has transfer a call to higher Authorities of Process.

                    Note:Still I have the same problem with the Device.

                    Hi guys, MY PHOTON NO IS 92335040 I am living in a rural area and here is very poor internet services, I looked for all available internet service provider here such as BSNL, Reliance, Tata. The only one solution that I find is tata photon whiz, that work in my area with very very poor speed. All other service available in our city area, but not work in the rural area.

                    I am getting speed of 0-32-40 kbps with tata photon whiz, which is very low speed. For opening any site it take lots of time and sometime if the page is very heavy, it even not open.

                    Please guys help me by informing about any hack or any software that can increase my speed. I have no any other option to choose internet service provider in my location.

                        I have downloaded the Photon TV application on my laptop. But i am unable to subscribe to the channels.

                        As per instructions of subscribing to channels i have selected the channel->clicked on play button-> but then it asks me for an authentication code which I don't know where to get from?

                        I even tried calling your customer service and spoke to a friendly advisor called Mohit who too tried to help me but in vain and in the end said I would have to uninstall the Photon TV application and redownload and install it again...which I did but still the same problem?

                        I just want to subscribe to Photon TV and need someone to tell me how do I go about it?

                        Kindly revert asap.

                          Hi,
                          I have a tata photon+ device([protected], accnt no[protected] with 5GB @950 plan, I purchased this device around 8-9 months back at the time of purchasing the executive told me that this plan is unlimited plan, I will get speed upto 3.1 MBPS till 5GB usage after that speed will be decreased but I will not get the extra bill for that, but in this month I am getting a bill of 1097, according to that conversation it should be only[protected]/- discount for 1 yr + tax).

                          When I am talking to customer care they are saying that my plan is limited plan, and nobody is ready to register my complaint, I am not going to pay this much of amount, I will pay only the correct amount.

                          Again I have got a call from a executive she is saying that we have unlimited plan with the name o[censored][protected]@950 but your plan is [protected]@950, You have to confirm it by calling customer care number at the time of purchasing the device.

                          The person who come to deliver the device was a senior person(ASM) and he told me that This plan is unlimited plan, when a senior person is saying any thing then we can trust upon him, If we can't trust even on senior person then why TATA devision has all these senior person, leave all the things to customer care. I don't have the 6th sense so that I can know that you have different plan in the same rate and your senior person is not telling the correct thing.

                          I have got this month's bill with the late payment penalty of last month, The payment was delayed because of late response from your side so why should I have to pay late payment penalty...
                          As per the discussion with your staff I will not get the penalty charge because the payment was delayed because of the complaint procedure but I have got the bill with 100/- late payment...

                          I am getting speed issue most of the time speed goes down, when I am trying to complaint it in customer care they told me some setting changes, but I am not getting any solution till now after doing those changes.


                          Device is showing full signal even I am not getting good speed.
                          Engineer has visited at my home, he is saying that problem is from server and it will take at least 2-3 more days to resolve. Until now when I am calling to customer care they are always saying that there is no problem in our end, your no is working correctly, now the engineer is saying that problem is from server, then why your customer care executive is not ready to listen the customer, why are they insisting on what are they saying..

                          Most of the time i am not able to open google.com because of net speed, some time its works fine and i am getting good speed, but i am not paying for the thing which I am getting some time I need consistency.

                          If you can't provide good service then please discontinue my number I am ready to pay the outstanding amount till date.

                          I also have a TATA indicom postpaid connection([protected]), I am using this number since last 4 yr, I am also getting network issue on this number(on 22-MAY-2011), I am not able to make call and if someone is trying to call my number it is saying that "this no is out of the network" My mobile is on and showing full signal still it is going out of the network to other callers. Even I am not able to call customer care no(121), activation no (*228). I tried many time by switching of my mobile and remove and reinsert the SIM card. but still no solution found.


                          I am getting problem on both of my TATA indicom no (Photon + and mobile no).


                          How you can say that TATA indicom is a good service provider?

                          I have a tata photon+ device([protected], accnt no[protected] My billing date is 2nd of every month and the hard copy should be delivered latest by 15th of every month. Today is 18 July but I haven't got the bill of not only the current month but also of the previous month, I have just got the SMS so I have paid the bill of last month, I am continuously complaining about the delay of bill but still I haven't got any solutions, I have also complained about the speed issue but... as usual ... no resolution...

                          Now I want to discontinue with TATA photon. So please refund my last months billed amount because I haven't got the bill so why should I have to pay? and disconnect my number.

                            I have been using Tata Photon for last six months. Since begining I am not getting proper speed. It becomes worse after 10 PM. We can not open 2 pages at a time otherwise it stops working.. It is really frustrating. I do not understand how it did receive Product of the year award. Planning for BSNL broadband. bye bye to Tata.. I am sure tata Indicom people will respond to this complaint with their standard sentense 'Dear Customer, we tried to reach your alternate contact number but yuo were not reachable'. I am not expecting any service from Tata customer care now.

                            Tata Photon Plus — Poor speed

                            I have a photon plus ([protected]) connection. The speed is very poor. I had written several times to the customer care including the senior officials. They admitted that there’s some issue going on in my area due to large number of connections. They assured me that the issue will be resolved soon. I got responses like we are working on it, please bear with us, etc., but there was no actual solution.
                            Now, they have stopped responding. I've decided to close the connection. I’m writing here with the purpose of saving others from buying/wasting their money on a useless product. They claim the speed upto 3.1 mbps, but it's similar to a gprs connection. I am also not expecting full 3 mbps but it should be at least 700-800 kbps so that I can work. It's a learning for me after wasting good amount.

                            Prior to this I’d strong faith on the TATA brand but now it’s hazy.
                            This is what is happening since the last 2 months only promises but no improvement. They have updated here that they will revert back big lie.

                            I've lost my money in such a fraud product.

                            I am happy to announce that finally I have cancelled my Photon plus connection and happily enjoying BSNL broadband with WiFi modem. Its far far better than pathetic Tata Product called Photon plus.
                            I have bought a new photon plus in kolkata in new alipore the speed is very poor and i have already registered a complain with the photon people, i wish they could resolve it earlier because my activation has also taken a lot of time. for this complaint also i have not yet got a call back from them. My complaint number is[protected] . I want the people to come after 19:00, i.e. after my office hours

                              I have got above Photon+ prepaid connection through agent([protected]) on 22/4
                              At the time of demo I was told that the I will get good speed when my documents
                              will get registered in company system. I reminded agent on following days. I was told
                              that i will get full speed on monday, if not then call help desk. I have taken my connection
                              in Dombivli and I have MTMLmob/BSNL land line
                              I am not able to connect to that number.

                              Moreover the mail box of nodalofficer is rejecting the mails
                              Customer care site is poorly managed if I put valid tata number still it tells to enter valid number

                              at present speed of my device is very poor please do the needful

                              I am very sorry to inform you that the consumer center has informed me that the speed which u r mentioning in u r add i.e. 3mbps is available only at limited locations and dombivli is not in that area and also note that the add is very clear it mentions upper limit up to which speed can go(??) but the lower limit is not given in the add(it can be 0kbps!!!) Tata Photon+ is not suitable for Dombili . This is your official feed back.

                              I fell for this &&%^#. My mobile GPRS is much faster than photon.

                              Call center is useless, mail is useless, shopkeeper looks other way now, even shouts! Pathetic data speed, ads say "get speed, get time", my foot!

                                I am the customer who got cheated every-month by TATA PHOTON PLUS post paid.

                                This Connection is in the name of : GURUVIKRAM

                                I am gettiing very less speed 10 KBPS... infact its shame for a Internet Service Provider to call their product has speed. "SPEED" "SPEED".
                                Even in rural place the people getting more than 10 Kbps. The Dial-Up connection is better that TATA PHOTON+. Every-month without failing they are sending Bill. I am Paying. They are telling 3.1 Mbps.... i have never got 5% of 3.1 MBPS. I have complained around 15 times. never solved my problem. This product is a Bull . The company is not worried about customers. Worried about the money.Please DONT BUY TATA PHOTON+. Other networks are verygood. Other Internet service providers offer good Plans for less cost. Why to pay 830 Rs for a internet connection which is not giving a speed sufficient to open Gmail.
                                The Advertise TATA PhOTOn + is an Idea to make Customers unhappy. From past 4 months i got an average speed of 12 Kbps.... I am Bored of complaining. I have never seen such a Bull product.

                                Unfortunate to see such a pathetic support from Tata group.



                                I purchased a Tata Photon+ connection last month from one of your executive Dev ([protected]).

                                1. I have been told at the time of sale TATA has services in my area but after the activation the speed in my area is less than 80kbps. Now the support staff is saying that they don’t have services in my area so they can’t help. If this was the case why they sold me the connection with wrong information. I hope this is not a part of Tata sales practices to cheat their customers.

                                2. I have also been told that I can disconnect the services any time and I will get my refund of 1700 after submitting the device back to TATA. I confirmed this again and again from your sales person and he told me that I will surely get my refund amount but now your support personal are saying that there is no refund policy.

                                3. Yesterday I went to your Bangalore head office to deactivate my connection and support staff told me not to disconnect the connection and they will install a router in my apartment so that I can avail the services but today I receive a call that they cannot do that. If they were not going to install the router and they knew that in advance then why the hell they gave me this wrong information.



                                I know that I will not receive any reply of this mail either. I would like to know if you can provide me services in my areas(as committed from your sales executive) else refund my amount of 1700. Till that I will not pay my monthly bill.

                                I hope someone in TATA still feel responsible for their brand image and will look into this.
                                You are unfit for fixing my problem. You are hiding truth from cusromer... now 30-apr-2011 is over... You may feel that you have resolved the problem. you want see the download speed?
                                This month you lost a customer that is me... i am goint to disconnect this Photon+
                                I am switching to AIRTEL... or BSNL

                                the connection Tata Photon+ values for max of 50-60 Rs per month.

                                Enough ids Enough with your connection. Dirty BULL
                                Because you I lost My 2200 Rs for this hole device...

                                  I booked a Tata photon data card on 21st Apr,2011 from connectindia.in website which is being managed by VRITI INFOCOM PRIVATE LIMITED,Noida and they contacted me to deliver the device next day.
                                  After providing the data card,they have not yet activated the data card connection(almost after 6 days) and not even bothered to answer my calls.When I personally visited their pune office,they took the device with them for activation and when I tried to contact them for activation status update,they are not answering my calls and not even bothered to contact me for any further update.THis is the worst ever customer service I have got from any company which is into the telecom sector and creating a bad impression for a brand name of TATA PHOTON.

                                  I want a strict action to be taken against VRITI INFOCOM as they are making false commitments and providing worst customer service.It would be a huge negative impact on brand name like TATA who is commited to provide best customer service throughout the years.

                                  TATA teleservices and Consumer forum,please take strict action against this company.

                                  Dear Customer care team,

                                  Thanks for looking into the issue from your end.

                                  Today I have got my Data card back from the dealer and it seems to be activated however I have not thoroughly checked it.I hope it should further work.

                                  Apart from my case which is not being taken care properly by this dealer, there are several other cases in which VRITI INFOCOM is providing their worst services to the customer and not bothered to communicate with the customer to resolve their issues.

                                  My suggestions for TATA Indicom customer care team is to give continuous attention to those cases in which customer have purchased data cards from this dealer as this is finally impacting the image of a brand like TATA on which every indian rely.

                                  Thanks once again for looking into my case through this consumer forum.

DEALER CONFIRMED ME THAT THE SAME WILL BE ACTIVATED WITH IN 1/2 AN HOUR.TODAY IS 28.04.2011, TILL NOW IT HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED.                                       On 06April2011, I made a additional payment of Rs 1500.00 through online from tata-photon official website.The same payment was debit from the my account, I got the transaction/reference id from the site which given below. But from the that day to till date, this payment is not getting reflected at tata-photon.

                                      I have logged 03 complaints with Tata- Tele-services ltd and all 03 complaints are closed without solving.

                                      I have escalated so many times to their nodal officer "nodalofficer.[protected]@tatatel.co.in" and "APPELLATEAUTHORITY.[protected]@TATATEL.CO.IN" also. But they did not get any response and resolution.

                                        Hello, I am having a Tata Photon Plus connection with 2GB @ 750 per month plan but for the last 2 months, I am getting excessive bills against very average kind o[censored]sage.Please suggest me how to go about otherwise I have to withdraw the connection.

                                        i got a tata photon connection in a scheme with samsung laptops after paying an extra sum of rupees 1500/- and in return company promised me to give 15 gb data per month for two months and after two months an additional 2gb for next 4 months.My connection was activated on 7th of march.so according to the terms i should be provided 15 gb data free for two months ending on 6th of may.but the data used by me on 6th of may was charged which was around 3.9 gb and it was in the limit of 15 gb per month.so you are requested to look in to the matter and please do the justice as these private firms are betraying customers everyday and nothing is happening to them.my tata photon details are given below

                                        I am a TCS employee and would never want anyone to feel like what my brother has faced.
