I have a Tata Photon Plus data card i have a problem with this device while connecting the network from tata photon+ dailer i am getting an error like "The PPPT link control protocol was teminated".

can any one give me the solution for this will appriciate.

    I have purchased a tata photon + on 16th of july . On 23rd of july it was giving error 698 . After conforming it from customer care i got to know that my retailer has not submitted documents . I have registered the complaint for this request code is NTT[protected]. After shouting on his head for several times he gave me mobile number of distributor Vishal sharma . After calling him for 4 days , my number finally started on august 10 th and my first recharge plan is going to be over ob 16th august . Today on 12th aug it is giving error 734 after calling to customer care they say that this connection has been purchased long ago which cant be possible because till 10th of august my documents were not submitted. This is too much of misguidance .My tata photon no. is [protected] .If my tata photon doesnt start by today evening i m going to register case against company in consumer court .

    Hello,

    I have purchased tata photon + last yr (November) with 6 months recharge (prepaid). I request every1 not to do recharge for 6 months directly. First check the speed at your place. As the person who comes to show demo of data card won't have any speed prob. So basically m facing speed issue from last yr. After complaining several times its not getting resolved. Just receiving sms stating your compliant has been resolved. So its a waste of money that i did. I will never suggest any1 to buy tata photon +.

    First of all this number was purchased by Ms.Bulbul Saraf not by any Mr. Dharmendra. Sbalnce Secondly My balance cant be expired in just two days and i m fed up of submitting my ID proof every now and then. If my photon doesnt work then there is surely a case for ur company on consumer court. U people are just fooling and wasting time and money o[censored]r customers and creating headache for them

      I purchased Tata Photon plus on 30th July, 2011. My Tata photon number is [protected], account number[protected]. I chose the postpaid tariff plan of 300min @ Rs.250/-.
      My account on www.tataphoton.com shows my usage today as follows:

      Session Wise Usage Summary
      Total Peak Usage (MIN) 39
      Total Off Peak Usage (MIN) 15

      Whereas, my unbilled amount till now shows the amount as:


      Unbilled Usage
      Gross Unbilled Amount (Rs) Net Unbilled Amount (Rs) From Date To Date Type

      950 644 Individual Connection

      Please explain to me how my unbilled amount can be Rs.644 when i have only used it for 54mins. I have not used my Tata Photon connection for the last 3 days. So all the figures in these tables are updated. I am unable to use my connection as I fear the unbilled amount rising even more rapidly. I request to kindly resolve the matter at the earliest.

        In April 2011 , my tata photon internet connection had been disconnected without informing me.
        In June 2011 , I had paid the pending amount by cheque but till now
        I am getting the call for bills.
        I had asked number of times for bill details but haven’t received anything.
        .It’s really frustrating.. Could you please look into it

          This is the 3rd time I'm filing the complaint. It seems like I've to file a complaint every month whenever the bill is generated. I'll cancel this connection if I get the issue in billing in the month (September 2011).

          I was informed of Bill Value Discount Rs 150 for 12 Months. But in the bill, only Rs.87.10 has been deducted. Refer the attached screen shot and infer how TATA is cheating its customers world wide.

          I want the bill to be regenerated and my bill should display 799+10 % taxes which should be Rs 880/- I cant pay a single rupee if the generated bill amount is more than Rs.880/-

          I filed the complaint on 11th July 2011 regarding false billing. But the complaint is not resolved yet. How come you are assuring the best services at all times?

          I can't pay the billed amount of Rs.1048 because I'm informed to get 799 plan. So you generate a bill amount of Rs.799 - Rs. 25 + taxes which otherwise I'll not be able to make the payment.

          If you are not willing to generate my requested bill amount, you shall go on to cancel the account.

          Based on the total number of complaints registered against TATA Photon Plus and reliance net connect, is it not possible to register a case against these companies in Supreme Court to ban their products? Is it not possible for the government to take action against these companies?

            I COMPLAINED TO MANAGER OF CROMA (Mr. DEEPAK) AND THEY ASSURED THEY WILL RESOLVE THE MATTER VERY SOON AND AFTER 2 DAYS THEY PROVIDED ME WITH THE
            NUMBER OF Mr. KIRAN (TATA PHOTON MANAGER) WHO ALSO REPEATED THE SAME THING AND SAID YOUR PLANNED WILL BE CHANGED AND WE WILL START YOUR SERVICE VERY
            SOON. AND SERVICE STARTED BUT WITHIN SAME DAY IT IS DISCONNECTED AGAIN AS SAME BILLING WAS NOT DONE FOR THE LAST USAGE.
            BUT, WHY SHOULD I BILL WHEN I APPLIED FOR UNLIMITED PLAN AND IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE WHO STARTED THE WRONG PLAN AND THEY ARE BILLING

            I don't know what happened to TATA's ethics. Something similar happened to me, and when i went to get my connection disconnected after 1 month of poor satisfactory, they told me that its company's rule that you cannot get your service disconnected before three months. I'm sorry for you Mr. Saurabh, but you'll have to pay your bill otherwise you'll soon get a call from their lawyer from somewhere in Delhi, who'll talk to you as if you have committed a serious crime and would threaten to sue you.

              I am user of tata photon plus. my photon no. is [protected]. that I have made two payments in the month of may,2011 i.e on[protected] and[protected].but company tells me that they have received only one payment. so far I have sent them transaction ID and also I have called them so many times about my problem but they only give me false assurances. and my problem still remain unsolved. moreover during this period my tata service was also stopped for two times.
              . when I showed anger about my problem their answer was to leave this company.

                Hi All,

                I bought TATA PHOTON PLUS device on Jan 2011 as Prepaid Service (Tata no: [protected]), i used the same prepaid service until July 24th 2011. I never faced any single problem at the time of JAN 2011 to JULY 15, 2011.

                Then i wanted to convert as post-paid(corporate plan), so i went to Tata Indicom Outlet which is near to Richmond Circle. There i have been told as, "if you want afford corporate plan, you have to de-activate your current number and submit your documents.Then you will get new number and you can use Post Paid Service(Corporate Plan). I did everything, what they told.

                Then i got new number Tata no: [protected]). When i started using yesterday ( July 30th 2011), its showing TATA PHOTON WHIZ tower in left side of Dial up connection window instead Tata Photon plus.
                Then i called Customer Care for nearly 10 to 12 times, every-time they told me that with 4 or 5 hours you will getting cal from our side. Then i waited for whole day, i didn't get any single call.Even for connecting into TATA PHOTON WHIZ mode, am doing nearly 5 to 7 attempts. Just for opening Google home page its taking minimum of 1 minute.Service and Fast of Tata is really Pathetic and horrible.

                when i called for new connection first time, they called me back for ten times and also Tata Executive came to my home with in one hour of time. But yesterday when i called for Service nearly ten times no one responded properly. They are just saying " you request has been taken as most important " and we will get back you soon.

                Also am located in same area from past one year (CMH Road, LAXMIPURAM, Halasuru, 560008)

                  Hello i have been using tata photon plus from quite a long time now, even though it gives really slow speeds as compared to advertised i continue to use it, but from past week this new problem has started it is continuosly getting connected and then getting disconnected i am a day trader and continuity in net connection is a must for me i called customer service few times first time they said that this is a general problem and be rectified in 2 hours( but nothing happened as expected) and the next time i called the execute asked me to uninstall then reinstall then resart and lot of stuff but after everything has been done the problem still persits, i know tata photon is a really big internet service provider and one customers problem doesnt really matter to them but if everyone one started to get dissatisfied by your services then photon would be history so plese look into the matter.

                    I had registered my first compaint on 15th of July and subsequenly on
                    the 19th again when the tata engineer( vishwanath) picked up the device
                    stating that it was dffective and that he would replace it , he
                    returned the device later that day stating that the warehouse person
                    wasnt available and that it would take 3-4 days to get a device. No
                    one from tata followed it up to resolve the issue. I registered a
                    complain again on the 23rd, when tata engineer (James )picked up the
                    deivice with a commitemnt of returning the device the same evening or
                    the next day. Once again there has been no follow up from tata to
                    resolve the issue till I called james on the26th evening to and he
                    repeated the same excuse "the warehouse person wasnt avaialble " and
                    that he would revert shortly , I called him on the 27th morning and he
                    did not respond to my call.
                    I called customer care and they said my device is active ..... which
                    means that some one else is using my device and this is a serious
                    breach of customer confidence and a security issue.

                    I had asked to speak to a manager in customer care and was promised a
                    call back and like all "tata" promises it wasn't kept , I called again
                    after a gap of 4 hrs this time insisting that I will not get off the
                    line till I spoke to a manager, after 30 mins of insisting , Charan/
                    Sharan came on line and said that he saw the status of the device was
                    reported as ok and only delivery was a problem and that he will ensure
                    it would be done.

                    I have been waiting since and today 28th July at 18:30 still do not have the device.

                    To top it all I get a mail immediately after my call with Sharan /Charan that the problem is resolved and enquiring if I was satisfied....
                    Is the tata expectation that I be satisfied when I dont have my device ?

                    I am now told that they are unable to replace the device because the carton in which the device was supplied is not provided along with the device.

                    Is the expectation that we store all the cartons in which we get our home equipment in ? Not possible .
                    This is a lame excuse to skirt the issue of poor service

                    I would like to know what is happening to my device and why a customer should face such tribulations for having chosen a tata service.
                    I have run from pillar to post since the 15th of July and do not have the time to spend hours at end every day .

                    As a Director at a MNC I donot have the time for all of this . Is there any one senior at the tata group who can address this issue for me ? My work connectivity has been adversely affected by tthe pathetic service rendered by tata.

                      I have recently purchased TATA PHOTON PLUS - Prepaid modem.

                      After installation and log-inn from my laptop, I am getting message as "SVCHOST.exe- Application error" and after this error all internet applications gets disconnected.

                      I have tried taking help of customer care center, they suggested following basic checks which I did already. I have not got resolution to my query yet. The response from customer care was not satisfactory. They want to appoligise for problem and inconvenience caused, but nobody has resolution to problem.

                      Basic Check was :
                      (1) Un-install software and reinstall
                      (2) Un-install drivers from Mycomputer->manage option
                      (3) Delete cookies
                      (4) Restart computer
                      (5) Change setting of network type to - hybrid (it was already in - hybrid)

                      I believe this mistake is because of incorrect software provided by TATA PHOTON. And to be resolved on high priority.

                      I bought a new tata photon netconnect+ data card with unlimited plan(Rs 950) on 10-Jul-2011. This card was activated on 10-Jul-2011. Since then, the maximum speed I am getting is 15-20 kbps. I called customer service and followed all instructions like cleaning up temporary files.or something port setting change the speed.but my connection is slow.i dont like this connection please give me a suggestion what can i do...please give me a reply.my email id is ([protected]@gmail.com)

                          My Tata Photan plus data card no. is [protected]. I had register first complaint in April 2011. Before registering i had visited two times c/c Tambaram.also visit two times at the shop where i had purchased data card.April, May, June, July2011 within four months i had register total six complaints.except two c/c visit.three times i had recharge data card with Rs.250/ voucher three times. because when does visit technician he had told me that your balance is 00.00, it is only active mode,
                          Now we are come to the point, i have a connectivity problem in my Tata Photan data card , all my three recharge had gone waste for single time connectivity checking of technician, they could not do any thing except checking connectivity, they visit again after fifteen day when my balance had been lost validity.
                          They had always said to me and my father that they are trying to resolve my problem in top priority .last time registered complaint docket no. is P T C [protected] which was registered on 15 of Jul. 2011

                            I had a Post-paid Tata Photon Plus Broadband connection. The usage details for the month of May-June were more than what I have used. As a result the billing was also excess. When I informed the Company about this, they send me a usage details for that month and asked me to compare it with my usage details and told me to inform them about any discrepancy. I did that and send them the errors. But after that they haven't contacted me back and closed my complain. I have send many mails to them but they haven't responded. On the contrary they sent me a bill for the next month which included the previous months disputed bill and the fine for not paying that bill in time. When i contacted them about this, they haven't responded me. Instead they have disconnected my connection without any information.

                              Please go through the mail below before buyng TATA Photon Plus.

                              Latest update : After posting this mail to Tata indicom customer care, I got a reply saying that if I pay 1500 and buy a new device I will be able to use Tata photon internet. So they mean that everytime you switch location, you dump your device and buy a new one so those at Tata indicom will get their monthly pay.
                              Even though I am the owner of the useless device, I am unable to use it because of the in TATA indicomm.


                              This is regarding the series of issues I am facing with my TATA photon plus usb device.

                              I bought a Photon Plus device last year, from a TATA dealer at Powai, Mumbai. I gave my local Mumbai address (Mahakali Caves, Andheri, Mumbai ) and obtained a postpaid connection. The postpaid account number is[protected]. The TATA indicom person came to the address specified above, and installed the device on my laptop . After using the postpaid connection for about two months, I applied for converting my postpaid connection to prepaid connection at TATA indicom showroom at Sakinaka, Mumbai. I went to Sakinaka office continously for about three months, and then got my postpaid connection converted to prepaid . The prepaid number is [protected].

                              Till December, I was using the prepaid connection, after which I got transferred to Chennai, TamilNadu. After that when I tried to access my device in Chennai, I got an error that my account was blocked. So, I called up the Customercare and they said that an address verification was held in Mumbai at January, and since I was not at Mumbai at that point of time, my device was blocked.

                              So, I applied for a fresh prepaid connection at TamilNadu, and tried to activate the device. But again, when I tried to activate using the new number, I received the message that my device is blocked. So I went to the dealer at Chennai, and told him the problem. He checked with TATA authorities and said that the Mumbai number is still in my device and it needs to be removed from my device in order for me to use the device again. So, when I tried to contact customer care to remove the Mumbai number from my device, I got the most surprising answer from the Customer care executive . He said that the number [protected] was registered to some other person (it was a male) in Mumbai.

                              It was a shock to me to know that the prepaid number which I had been using for about 3 months was actually registered in the name of some other person. Finally the customer care guy said that it is impossible for me to use the device again, as the number can be removed only if the person to whom the number is registered to, applies to disconnect the number.

                              My wonder is how come people at TATA indicom showroom at Sakinaka gave me a prepaid number that was already registered in some other person's name. They had given a connection in the name of some non-existent person, and finally say that the device is blocked because I was not at that address. How can I apply to deactivate the connection if the connection itself was provided in some other person's name. If I had given wrong address, how could the TATA indicomm person come to that address and installed the device on my laptop?? This is really irritating. Because of the mistake done by some stupid officials at Sakinaka office, I am unable to use the device that I bought for about Rs. 1800.

                              I have enough proof to show that I am the original owner of the device and that I was using the postpaid and prepaid connections from my laptop.

                              I bought the device using TATA employees discount. I had provided my ID card for ID proof. I have used my HDFC account to pay bills for my postpaid account, and to recharge the prepaid account.

                              Since I am the original owner of the device, I feel I deserve the right to use the device. Just because some careless registered my connection in someone else's name, I cant be made to suffer for his carelessness. I can provide enough proof to claim the ownership. And that being said, I request you to act hastily so that I could be able to use the device within a week.

                              I am getting frustrated day by day for wasting my money on a useless device. Its been six months since I came to Chennai, and I am unable to check mails or connect to internet just because I bought an useless device. I request you to take the necessary action immediately , as I cannot waste my time further on this useless device. If my complaint is not resolved in a week, I have no other option than to dump this device and opt for some other network provider who provide good customer service, and most importantly, who dont cheat customers . I also inform you that if I cant use this device, I want a full refund of my money, failing which I may be forced to take legal actions against you for all the distress and mental agony that I have been through so far.

                              Hoping this issue will be resolved soon.
                              I didnt used my tata photon plus for the past 3 months, but got a bill worth 4000,
                              when i asked to them they have replied that u might have lost ur device which could be used by some other, and
                              when i replied that i only having that device then they told, we will just need 4k other than we will look after.

                              Dont Buy tata Photon Plus! U u really wanna use buy MTS prepaid best plan and compare u will no worthy!

                                m raju majoka...fom sohna....diconnected ma photon whiz([protected])..around 7-8 months ago i hav given the application in written.....n instead of disconnecting ma tata photon whiz they changed ma plan....kept on continuing... the said me it is disconnected...now they r sending me bill n forcing me to pay the bill of last 7-8 months......even i didn't used it.....they also said if bill is not paid the will sue me.....but m ready for such things..

                                  I have been using Photon Plus Corporate Connection for IBM employees since Feb 2010. My current plan is HSIA 2GB @ Rs. 600. But now the plan amount has been reduced to 2GB @ Rs. 425 or such.
                                  Hence I was requesting them to change my previous plan amount to current plan amount for 2GB from the next month i.e. August 2011 & mailed them to the ids as 'Customer.[protected]@tatatel.co.in' and 'customercare.[protected]@tatatel.co.in' but no actions have been taken from their side. Whenever I called the customer care they are telling me to drop a mail at this ids but nothing happened yet.

Sir my complaint No. is[protected] and i cal your complaint cel 121 number of times and my complaint was not resolved and asked me to wait till 17 july for the complaint to be resolved and when i call 121 Mr. shrinavasan told me that the complaint would be resolved till 23 july and when i call at the number of Neeraj fotedar they asked me that he would do nothing as the complaint would be transfered to the technical staff and i should wait till 23 july and if the complaint would not be solved they would extend the dedline for resolving my problem.
                                      I think the staff of tata photon try to haressed me and did not fulfill their duties and not try to solve my problem.In this circumstances i had no choice to surrendered my photon as i have two photon in my name and surely i would surrendered my both numbers becuase tata photon service is pahtetic and did not solve the problem intencially.
                                      Now the Neeraj fotedar the Nodal Officer of J&k also did not pick my phone intencially and had no time time to talk to me then what is the fun to hire him as Nodal Officer if he has no time to talk to the customers .
                                      please release him from the job so he can do other work which is of priority for him.

Sir i have made so many complaints from past one year even now i don't remember complaint Nos.even i have tried 121 number of many times and my complaint was not resolved and asked me to wait till still i am waitingmay be my complaint would be resolved. now i have stopped my no to use because, they tell each time after end of the month sir you have used your 5GB data, now you will get the minimum speed, when i told them sir i am getting 32 kbps, then they don't have answer. now why i have stopped to use that is some customer care executive misbehaved with me and told me get ready for court orders, when i have all the legel proofs against company, even the downloaded attachment of speed test. I call at the number of Neeraj fotedar they asked to me that he would do nothing as the complaint would be transfered to the technical staff.

                                        This is to let you know the problems and the harrasement by the Tata photon plus product and the support staff...Here is what I have gone through these days.This mail is in regards to the issues with the three Photon Plus connections I purchased from Tata Photon. Since that day onwards I been having issues with the slow connectivity and reporting the same I have lodged several complaints with the customer care and Nodal Office as well, but they seem to be in a mood of not resolving the issues. When I contacted the customer care dept. (SR No[protected]Aarif, Yuvraj Chahuan,[protected] Sainath,[protected]. They keeping giving fake promises to resolve the issues saying that the technical team of photon would call back to resolve, which that never happens or they say the Tata photon plus usage has crossed the usage limit of 5GB, hence the speed has been limited to 155 kbps for the remaining the bill cycle. Frankly speaking it doesnt make any difference because even if you are in or out of 5GB data usage you speed would remain (4kbps-13kbps).
                                        > Customer service agent or technical team agents in Tata photon complete their job policies at work by sending in a mail stating that the issue has been resolved. It is really irritating and feels emotionally tortured by having taken up three connection and paying[protected]Rs) per month for each connection with a speed of (4kbps-13kbps). Even I had an instance with customer care agent whom I asked for a senior and his response was shocking and rude stating that he cant transfer. Gave him a warning of reporting the incident to the higher authorities he said go ahead do whatever you want,I wonder if this is the way the agents have been trained to handle the customers in problems. My greats nightmare was when I recommended Tata photon to my brother and relative because Tata Photon offers you speed o[censored]p to 3.1mbps till 5GB and 155kbps after 5GB usage. Now my brother and relative keep calling me just to say the same thing Im experiencing related to slow speed .We never got a speed which is more than 16-20 kbps on a constant bases (expectation with Tata photon at least 100-150 kbps of speed = Never fulfilled)....I remember 2 magical days when it was varying from 33.4kbps-52.6kbps).The download speed is around (4kbps-13kbps) maximum and while surfing, the webpages takes 3-4 minutes to load which a ridiculous considering the speeds that Tata Photon Plus claims to offer its customers.
                                        > Being fed up with the customer care dept. and their technical team I finally lodged complaint with the Nodal Officers Office[protected],[protected],[protected] Roman Agarwal,[protected] he assured me that the issue will be taken care very soon on a highest priority. After which I received a call from the technical dept. and confirmed about one of the SRs.When I asked him about the other two SRs he said that it has crossed 5 GB and we cant resolve issue with those connections. In order to avoid an argument asked him about the speed Im supposed to get after my 5 GB data usage he said 155 kbps.So informed him that the speed with the connection is less than 14kbps.Finally he said an Onsite technicians would come to check the issues with the connection.Next day when the Onsite technicians visited the place confirmed to his seniors that the speed was really slow it ranged between (3kbps-11kbps) after which the technician informed me about the seniors informing it to the network engineers and that they would call back to resolve. Hearing this I called up the nodal officers office and reached Roman Agarwal one of the executives with Nodal Office informed him about the same and made the On-site technician to have a word with him with regards to the connection. And then Roman Agarwal assured me that the issue with regards to the slow connection will be resolved by evening of July 5 2011.Soon after the conversation ended a network engineer called up saying Tata Photon has network issues and would take 1-2days to get it fixed. On July 06 2011 one of the executives from nodal officers office called in informing that the speed with your connection will only be 40kbps and are closing the case. Hearing this I was really upset and asked him for the Nodal Officer in order to express my sadness and how I was being treated with regards to the photon connections. The executive says he isnt available, so asked him the best time to reach the nodal officer and the answer was he isnt aware of it. So asked him if he can arrange a call back when the Nodal officer is at his desk, the executive said he would schedule a call back.
                                        I waited for a day and never received a call and to my greatest surprise I received a message stating that the issue is resolved. Every time I call up to speak to the Nodal Officer this is same reply I get. So I wonder if at all there is a Nodal officer assigned by Tata Photon to express the grievances by the customers. Moreover I am attaching few of the documents stating the error reports.Pls do the needful ASAP to resolve the issue or else sorry to inform failing this will esclatation of the issue to higher authorities and to the consumer court.

                                        Below mentioned are few details with the Tata Photon connections under my name:

                                        This was the mail that I sent across to Mr.Sarfraz Vanoo-Nodal Officer with Tata Photon and in response ,First day a technician (Rakesh Hatankar-734) from Photon Technical Dept. came in to check the connections and speed with my Tata photon plus and as well as with the Demo Tata Photon he brought. Below are the speeds measured as per Tata photon.

                                        My Photon Speed: Result Speed ->7 kb/sec-14 Kb/sec (Below 5GB usage)

                                        Demo Photon Speed: Result Speed ->29 kb/sec-35 Kb/sec.



                                        After which the technician informed the technical Dept. about the speeds measured and then Rakesh asked for the MEID and pESN for all the three photon connections for the technical team (Mumbai) to send a mail across to the technical team (Hyderabad) to check status of AAA (Photons Technical Term) activation, the technician also referred to a network issue in the place. Finally he said that he would forward this complaint to the network team who will call you tomorrow. Below mentioned are the MEID and pESN for all the three photon connections:

                                        Next day on July 14 2011 Awadhesh Pal a network engineer visited the place to check the speeds, he diagnosed the issues checked the speed of connection both with my Tata photon and the demo he brought. Speeds measured by him ranged to 7 kb/sec – 17 kb/sec and 18 kb/sec – 20 kb/sec (Below 5GB usage).After an hour of R&D Awadhesh said that the location doesn’t have proper network hence the speed is low and gave job card and left stating he will have a word with the network team about the issues. And today on July 15 2011 in the afternoon an executive Vijay Yadav from Nodal office called in saying that I will continue to have the slow speed issues for the next 5-6 months. So I asked if I will continue to have the slow speed issues what’s the point of paying should pay for 950/month and the answer from the executive was to switch over to 1GB speed. Tell me how ridiculous is that! When my usage exceeds 5GB and goes to 10-15GB per month how can he suggest me to switch over to another plan just because you guys aren’t able to fix the issues with your product. You go ahead pay for Tata Photon unlimited [protected]@950 p.m. from the beginning and after complaining about the issues, one fine day they call in asking you to switch over to 1GB plan. Let me ask you if the Tata photon is the one who decides what plan a customer should take or if it’s on customer’s interest. When I purchased this connection the executives marketed the product by saying if the data usage is fewer than 5GB the speed you will get is up to 3.1 Mbps and after crossing you will get a speed of 156 Kbps for sure. No one informed or mentioned anything about the outage or the issues for the next 6 months with Tata Photon in the area.
                                        Stating the same I drafted a mail to the Mr.Sarfraz Vanoo-Nodal Officer with Tata Photon asking for an explanation ,but no one even bothered to call or responded my mail..This is irritating and a worse thing to happen to any customer who pays for around 900-1000Rs/Month and doesnt even get 15% of the services now the speed with my Tata photon while submitting this complaint is around 2 kbps-7kbps.This shouldnt happen to any customer hence forth.Please let me know the legal way to file a complaint against tata photon

                                        Please go through the mail below before buyng TATA Photon Plus.

                                        Latest update : After posting this mail to Tata indicom customer care, I got a reply saying that if I pay 1500 and buy a new device I will be able to use Tata photon internet. So they mean that everytime you switch location, you dump your device and buy a new one so those at Tata indicom will get their monthly pay.
                                        Even though I am the owner of the useless device, I am unable to use it because of the in TATA indicomm.


                                        This is regarding the series of issues I am facing with my TATA photon plus usb device.

                                        I bought a Photon Plus device last year, from a TATA dealer at Powai, Mumbai. I gave my local Mumbai address (Mahakali Caves, Andheri, Mumbai ) and obtained a postpaid connection. The postpaid account number is[protected]. The TATA indicom person came to the address specified above, and installed the device on my laptop . After using the postpaid connection for about two months, I applied for converting my postpaid connection to prepaid connection at TATA indicom showroom at Sakinaka, Mumbai. I went to Sakinaka office continously for about three months, and then got my postpaid connection converted to prepaid . The prepaid number is [protected].

                                        Till December, I was using the prepaid connection, after which I got transferred to Chennai, TamilNadu. After that when I tried to access my device in Chennai, I got an error that my account was blocked. So, I called up the Customercare and they said that an address verification was held in Mumbai at January, and since I was not at Mumbai at that point of time, my device was blocked.

                                        So, I applied for a fresh prepaid connection at TamilNadu, and tried to activate the device. But again, when I tried to activate using the new number, I received the message that my device is blocked. So I went to the dealer at Chennai, and told him the problem. He checked with TATA authorities and said that the Mumbai number is still in my device and it needs to be removed from my device in order for me to use the device again. So, when I tried to contact customer care to remove the Mumbai number from my device, I got the most surprising answer from the Customer care executive . He said that the number [protected] was registered to some other person (it was a male) in Mumbai.

                                        It was a shock to me to know that the prepaid number which I had been using for about 3 months was actually registered in the name of some other person. Finally the customer care guy said that it is impossible for me to use the device again, as the number can be removed only if the person to whom the number is registered to, applies to disconnect the number.

                                        My wonder is how come people at TATA indicom showroom at Sakinaka gave me a prepaid number that was already registered in some other person's name. They had given a connection in the name of some non-existent person, and finally say that the device is blocked because I was not at that address. How can I apply to deactivate the connection if the connection itself was provided in some other person's name. If I had given wrong address, how could the TATA indicomm person come to that address and installed the device on my laptop?? This is really irritating. Because of the mistake done by some stupid officials at Sakinaka office, I am unable to use the device that I bought for about Rs. 1800.
