Dear Sir/Madam,



I had recharged my Tata photon plus data card on 24th Dec, 2010 by Rs. 650 through my ICICI bank online transaction. My bank account was debited by the same amount but my data card was not recharged. The reference ID #[protected]. I have made one online complaint to Tata photon plus (complaint #
265129) but, till date I have not got any solution. I have already contacted ICICI bank and they have asked me to contact Tata photon as the problem is not from their side but, with the biller desk and the online transaction gateway. The question is that if the data card was not recharged then where that amount has gone? And why the transaction was not reversed till date? I request you to take this matter on priority and take immediate action otherwise I will take this matter with Mr Jogesh Nayar and Mr Sunil Batra.

    My tata photon whiz is running in Tariff plan of Rs150/month.,., In the month of march 2011 bill amount was Rs476 and i paid Rs 500 on 8th march. After about 10 days i have got mail fron tata indicom that ur amount due is Rs.1300. so where is thid 1300 came from? What the worst service is this. my tata photon whiz num is-[protected]. Owner name is Aditya Kumar.
    II was using Tata photon whiz which is a USB type mobile internet connection.i am in Rs 325 plan in which 30 hours is free per month.There after 0.50 paisa per minute.there is a option in this to check your usage with date ,time from,time to which tells exactly the usage in HH:mm:ss format.i used to note down the usage for my reference separately.for the month of nov my usage was approximately 35 hours. i am supposed to be charged for the excess five hours @0.50/ps/minute.so rs 325+rs150+tax @10.5% it should be around Rs550.00 where i received a bill for Rs1006.00.i made a lot of complaints,visits to show room,calls to customer care.no result/response since last 15 days.i was threatened that my service will be disconnected.

    TATA Photon Whiz — excess billing

    i am ramya .My tata photon whiz number is [protected].i was in the plan 150 last month..and i have checked my bill at the starting of next month.it was 650.But now it was saying that it is 958.i have called the customer care and spoke to the executive...but when the call is being transferred to another department...the call was being ended.....like this call was being ended about 10 times..........could you pls help me
    surely t complaints to be processed well then only customer will be satisfied. when taking DELL, they give high prefernce to customer tech support. similarly tata should proceed..
    FRIENDS, IF YOU REALLY WORK HARD TO EARN YOUR MONEY, THEN PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR TATA PHOTON, . THEIR BILLING AND USAGE METERING HAVE GOT SERIOUS SOFTWARE ISSUES, (IT IS AN INSIDER NEWS), WHICH ARE UNABLE TO FIX..

    FOR A FEW MONTHS TIME AVOID TATA PHOTON INTERNET CONNECTION ..

    TO ALL THE OVER-BILLING COMPLAINTS POSTED HERE, THEY ARE GIVING A SIMILAR SWEET RESPONSE THAT THEY WILL RESOLVE IT..

    BUT IF THE INSIDER HAS TO BELIEVE, WE MUST AVOID TATA PHOTON AT ALL COSTS FOR A FEW MONTHS, UNTIL THEY GET THEIR SOFTWARE PROBLEMS SORTED..NO COMPANY WILL ACCEPT ITS DEFECT ON AN ALL INDIA FORUM...
    Thats True, I also have the same problem, I have taken 500 RS plan, every dya i use max 1 hr, but the Total bill is around 2000 Rs.

      Hello Sir,
      I had taken new tata photon+ number [protected] for the internet the connection is only one month older and from the day first I am continiously calling the customer care executive and they redirt me to the tata indicom outlet for the replacement of the device as the device is faulty and error promt me unable to connect the host computer,but after the continious approach to the tata outlet of sahara mall gurgaon

      and sec 18 noida, they told me the customer care executive do not know any thing and the device is not faulty.So

      not able to replace the device however I am facing problem from day first.I am continiouly getting the call from

      the excuti577ve to visit to my home but one month past no one here to give me the resolution.so I am left with the

      last option of CONSUMER COURT which I am doing right now.Today the executive come to my house and told me we are

      not able to replace the device.
      Hope you will take some action asgainst Tata Indicom photon Plus
      I had also attache the file for the number of complain against the device but always the service ticket is closed without any reason.

        This is bring in to your notice that I have a USB modem based broad band wireless connection under your brand band TATA Photon on number [protected] with 5 Gb unlimited plan. I am using this connection since Dec 2010.
        I have tried to contact your customer execution number of time on number-[protected] but instead of position or fair response, I have received negative response showing no interest in my complaint. On 9 April my complain no[protected],whan I call to your customer executive, they said our engineer is visit to your side today but after 36 hrs nobody is come , Than I call 10 April morning, customer executive are say same our engineer is visit to your side today. If you not take any action in this case I will go to higher Authority.

        Dear Sir,

        1. Please refer to Customer ID No [protected].

        2. The said broad band connection is faulty and not working since 08 April 2011. The complaint regarding fault has been lodged to customer care, Tata Photon vide Complaint No[protected] dated 09 April 2011 and Complaint No[protected] dated 10 April 2011. Thereafter several reminders have also given to the customer care, but without any result. Every time it is assured that “Our Service Engineer will visit your office soon”. After lapse of 96 hrs your Engineer came to our office on 13 Apr 2011 and after checking he declared the device faulty. He told that it will be changed within 24 hrs by our Service Engineer. As 48hrs have already past, no any person visited to our office to change the device. Our official work is being hampered due to the same and it has already been intimated to your office repeatedly.

        3. It is a repeated recurring problem which has never been rectified properly. Refer our Complaint No[protected] dt 22 Feb 2011 and[protected] dt 05 Mar 2011 and also e-mails sent to your department on 10 April and 14 April 11 (copy attached) . The payment of bill is being claimed/paid despite the device being faulty which is also not justified. If the problems can not be rectified, our deposit be refunded and the device be deposited back at the earliest so that we can apply for some other better connection.
        COMPLAINT REGARDING NON ATTENDING OF FAULT : TATA PHOTON PLUS

        Dear Sir,

        1. Please refer to Customer ID No [protected].

        2. The said broad band connection is faulty and not working since 08 April 2011. The complaint regarding fault has been lodged to customer care, Tata Photon vide Complaint No[protected] dated 09 April 2011,[protected] dated 10 April 2011,[protected] dated 15 April 2011 and interaction ID No[protected] dated 16 April 2011. Several reminders have also given to the customer care, but without any result. The device has been declared faulty by your engineer who visited on 13 April 2011. It was told by him that the device will be replaced by other engineer within 24hrs. After passing of 24hrs we again reminded the customer care who said that the device will be changed by 4 PM on 16 April 2011. It was still not done by 4PM of 16 April 2011. We again reminded the customer care who given address of Lajpatnagar Service Centre saying that the device will be changed by them. Our representative went to Service Centre at Lajpatnagar. They said there that the device is not available with them. These course of action is only harassing the customer which is not acceptable.

        3. In view of the above, you are requested to look into the matter personally and instruct the staff to rectify the problem at the earliest. If the problems can not be rectified, our deposit be refunded and the device be deposited back at the earliest so that we can apply for some other better connection.

          I am Nagarajan. i use tata photon plus prepaid ([protected]). it is not working in roaming side. i have complaint above 18 times (Error : 777) but there no response in your side. i visit near by your show room also in Pondicherry two days before but they also didn't take any action. In Local Chennai person contact me and give his show room number and another guy give his personal number. these two number i below mentioned. when i come to roaming side i contact that person but they didn't response me. your side is very worst service. This problem i am getting 6 months.

            Hi,

            I have made multiple complaints at this ID and called on given no of Nodal officer, Suguna Shetty many times. But call is never answered by her.

            I am having serious speed issue with my Tata Photon Plus and after raising no of complaints, problem remains. I am having Tata Photon Plus(device no#[protected] , account no#[protected]

            Now, it seems that you have put some restriction on donwload as it is not exceeding beyond 11 Kb.

            You have no right to put such restriction i[censored] have done so.

            I am going to raise complaint in consumer forum as issue is not answered after multiple complaints.

            Plz respond immediately otherwise I will seriously be taking legal action against this. Before having Tata Photon Plus, I had Tata Indicom DSL line and I was told that I would get better speed if I upgrade.

            TATA Photon Whiz — Sharing of Complaint

            Tata Photon Whiz is very slow even if the signal strength is full. for example, i waited for 5 minutes to open this page (great huh?)me too i am facing the same problem, so Tata Indicom proprietors ... its high time you people do some thing about it. you cannot just fool people and be silent about it. we want explanations. your company survives because of the public and its up to you guys to decide whether to stand alone or side with the public and their needs. i had to save money for 5 months to buy it and now am cursing myself for opting Tata Photon Whiz but, actually its not my fault, it said 153 Kbps Tata Indicom company fooled me. i am going to paste the same complaint in all my account (facebook, my space, twitter, hi5) and even tell all the people i know. all of you guys who is reading this please do the same. Let use make our world a better world. let us fight those who cheat people by posting attractive ads and provides the opposite. LET'S FIGHT BACK TATA INDICOM AND GIVE THEM WHAT THE DESERVE

            Tata Photon+ — Very Very Very Poor Speed

            MY TataPhoton ID is [protected].I was promised upto 3.1 MBPS but I am getting the speed of only 300 kbps and that too gets disconected after 20-25 minutes.I expected a lot from Tata but now I feel I need to tell TATA BYE BYE to tata.VERY VERY POOR SERVICE and CUSTOMER CARE.....Never go for TATA Photon.I pay monthly around 1000 rs as bill.

            Tata Photon Plus — Extremely slow download speed

            In spite of the "upto 3.1 mbps" claim, the download speed that I get on my photon has been on an average 2-3 kbps and 5 kbps at best. I am thoroughly frustrated with such slow broadband, but I'm stuck with a Rs 2500 investment in the hardware.

            now i converted to unlimited plan.....and wen i activated unlimted , i called to customer care , and they told tht upto 5gb u r net speed vil be gud upto 2 mbs ,,, for some days i got download speed nearly 100kb,, fromm past 20 days i am getting the speed of 5-15kb which of not use of paying the lot of bill for tht speed..

            hey man, is it the speed u get in torrent downloads coz even i get the same speed : max : 10kbps while downloading torrent files.
            They are shaping the traffic for torrent softwares. It is a common practise to put a cap on p2p softwares in the Western countries.But atleast they admit that they do it, but here in india, these guys clandestinely put a cap on unlimited plans.

            There is no action taken yet, they have just changed download speed to 40 Kbps for any normal download and while charging they will be asking for entire monthly plans fee

            I have complained a many times. Every time a representative comes and Tata closes the complain. It is height of cheating. I must say this broadband service provider is a big cheat...:(
            It seems that you guys cant read or I havent explained properly. First, Fix the root cause. We should get the speed which is quoted in your ads. If not then you should apologize to public and fix the problem. You are doing nothing to fix the issue. For first one month, there was no problem and suddenly you have issues even though you have 2 sites/servers in nearby area. Whas is done till todays date that I am more keen to know.
            I am from Delhi and I am also facing the same problem here. I took this connection based on the TATA's reputation, but sadly they are taking the customers for a ride. They do not understand that today the customer has so much choices that if you do not meet the service obligations, you are losing a customer Forever. I am just waiting for some more time to see if they improve. If not, then its time to move to another ISP. Also, I guess they will not like the negative publicity that comes with a customer leaving their network and then telling 10 others about it. The "intelligent" people who have taken this decision need to rethink about it. The customer is paying for the download and it does not matter how much data is downloaded since you are always going to bill him/her for it. Do not understand on what criteria they are voted "Product of the Year". May be saving revenues by fleecing customers.

            "Tata Tele" do not take your customers for granted and misuse the trust that people have in your brand.
            My name is Arindam Chakraborty, from tripura, Trust me when i took the connection i loved it, but now i hate it coz the down speed of torrent is below 11 kB/s. What is wrong with TATA? They want to continue the business based on cheating the customer...Do something quick and fast... I am not paying the TATA for some connection... And about that Product of the year... Thats a total for us... I am very serious about that, do something about this torrent speed, because the money we invest has value to us...

            Man wats wrong with this connection now... My torrent download doesn't exceed 12-13 kbps !!! WTF speed is that ? My 128kbps bsnl modem used to give this speed 10 yrs back. I thought my torrent software has an issue but later came to know that my friends are having this issue as well. P2P download is a basic requirement today - how the hell can they limit the speed without informing the customers. Now wat do I do ? chuck this Data card and buy some other one.             Hi folks, I have taken TataPhoton+ connection recently, and the excutive promised me to get the minimum 1Mbps(as per add 3.1Mbps) speed in my area. But in reality those people has cheated me. I never ever get the speed above 200Kbps in night times and 500Kbps in day times. This TataPhoton+ guys collected 5000/- rupees for 6months and the customer service is so bad.

            FYI: I am not using any P2P softwares, my net speed itself is very low. I have already rose many complaints but the result is same.

            I think we need some person like "Anna Hazare" to fight against these kind of fraud services and false promises.

            I never understande that how these people got the awards for this poor quality of service.

I guess another 2G scam in the making :) This time its the DOWNLOAD SPEED SCAM. Bad service might never brings any good to the service provider. The customers might come in impressed by your so called "Product of the Year" sham, but eventually they will get disgusted and turn away. So, its for you to decide whether you want the customer's trust for a long time or short time gains.

            well well seems like many ppl r facing the same problem, , , , , , as one o[censored] have stated correctly abt the port blocking thing, , , , whereby in western countries ISP do block the ports pertaining to P2P data sharing, , , , seems like same is happening ovr here in a silent way, , , , technically speaking no hues & cry vl alter our(TATA) ISP's decision as this is something illegal as these P2P sites hog space without paying anything, , , , so in that way the step by ISP is legitimate, , , , ,

            hey friends dont trust anybody.think before buying anything.i was puchase tata photon whiz before7 months they told me 4 156 kbps.but its downloading speed is just13 kbps. more and more times site not open.

            now ia have bsnl sim i use 280rs plan gives 6gb limit.i use phone sony cybershot
            normal speed 30to 50 kbps.reaches to 120 kbps using downloading with IDM.

            Hi guys dis is somen! I've read your comments one by one. But i should tell you that i'm also using tata ph+ and getting the downloading speed 200 kbps approx and i don't think other broadband companies can give you the same speed. However, i can suggest you to use IDM or DAP to speed up file downloading. Good luck.

            Tata Photon+ — very low bittorrent downloading speed

            from last 1 month downloading speed has dropped to 15 kbps.it was about 150 kbps earlier.
            they claim to give 3.1mbps surfing speed but the speed is too low..

            I am having the same problem with TATA Photon+. Direct downloading speed is around 100kbps but when it comes to torrents it sticks around 15kbps. I don't know how to solve this . I know that TATA takes care of its customers but this type they have messed it up. Why need to put restrictions on p2p download?

            Please solve it fast or Dokomo & Reliance also have better plans.
            HI friends, I am from Tinsukia, Assam. I have been facing the same problem for last two months. When I download TORRENT the download speed is around 14 KBps. Means practically I am getting a 110 kbps connection. But when tested with speedtest.net it shows 700 kbps download speed. It really confused me. The service engineers from Tata teleservices shows the speed as shown in the speed test website and terms the speed as a good one!

            When connected to BSNL broad band at that same time the very torrent is downloaded at around 200 KBps.
            Thats not true, I am not getting very poor speed for anyh type of download, FB videos take time to load etc
            tune lena hi nahi chahiye tha na tata photon! Airtel best hai! aur un logon ne mereko yeh likhne ke liye 10rs. diya hai... :D
            Damn it !!! Tata has restricted P2P services e.g. Torrent, kazza, LimeWire to the speed of 128kbps.

            Nope u must be getting 15KBps (1KB = 8kb), so 15KBps ~ 15X8 = 120kbps.

            Suddenly TATA Tele has decided that they are the flag bearers of Anti Piracy campaign!!!. Why do they think that people only download illegal copyright content using P2P software? Do they really believe that they can stop people from downloading content by reducing the speed? The only thing that will happen is that it will take longer than usual to download content because of the slow speed. Also, by making the upload speed double the download speed, they are making sure that people upload more than they download, hence exhausting their limit at a faster pace. Since, now one has to remain connected longer to download via P2P due to slow download speed, its natural that you will upload more (due to the double upload speed). So the benefit honors go to Tata Photon+. And that is the reason they are the PRODUCT OF THE YEAR. Innovative strategies, fleecing customers.
            I am from bangalore... and I too am facing the same problem of limited download speed between 11-13 kbps for torrents. This is cheating
            I am planning to buy a tata photon plus connection, but reading these reviews i would give it a second thought. If their speed in cities like delhi, bangalore etc is 10-11 kbps, then what to talk of small cities like patna, ranchi. People please give your opinion.
            please discontinue tata photon + as they have cheated users, they will block speed in utorrent as i have written proof of their email which i am enclosing below . please discontinue their connection as i have done in next billing period

              hi this is poornima. I have the problem with the tata photon+ device. I bought the device around 15 days back, but till today I could not check one mail also till today.

              Google search will work but not gmail, i am not able to check the mails in yahoo also.

              if somebody knows the solution for this please help me.

              s i do get such problem.
              atleast you can connect to the internet ... i can't even do that. It does not allow me to authenticate
              sir so many times we called up the customer care. lodged a complaint. at the end they are blamed my system is not proper. they are asking us to go to some hardware people. I am going to do it tomorrow.After that if it does not work god knows what to do with that.
              Where is the system configuration mentioned in the manual which you are given along with your device.
              I am sorry to tell you this, we would have called so many times the customer care the solution I got are different from different people.
              Sometimes they will not have the patience to listen to us.
              except google search for all other sites I am getting either connection is untrusted or connection is time out or server not found.
              ur customer care people says if google search is working then there is no mistake in the device.
              my question is net means only the google search?
              how about other websites?

                  Hello Tata Photon,
                  I am a recent user of the Tata photon + service. My recharge number for the device is [protected]. I have been having problems on accessing to the internet. Whenever I start the process of connecting to the device it either states the remote computer did not respond or the process was terminated by the remote computer before it could be completed.
                  I have tried it on my 2 HP laptops and the same message pops up instead of authenticated.
                  For your information i use Windows 7 32 bit. I want to know what is going on?
                  Is it the problem with my computer or the device.
                  I spent 700 bucks on this device's recharge. It has probably been only 6 days since the unlimited recharge.
                  I have another postpaid device. It seems to be working fine. Is this a trick you are playing on the Prepaid Customers..?

                  I dont know if it is deliberate cause but it has been a co incedence rather for many customers..
                  It would be helpful if you just tell me what to do with the device and how to configure the computer so that this device of mine starts working...

                    Hi,

                    I am one of those royally fooled customers of Tata Photon Plus. I have taken this connection yesterday near Tata Indicom Showroom, Akkayapalem.

                    I was told the signal in Akkayapalem is min 1mbps and in Seethammadhara it will be better than that.

                    When they activated the equipment, it showed speed upto 512 kbps in akkayapalem and then I was told by cust serv rep that a booster will be installed at my home and it will enhance the speed upto 2mbps (never told that it is wired equipment and will have to sit in one place and work).

                    The next day...they installed booster... to my suprise it never crossed 1mbps (horrible signal). I went to seethammadhara assuming that signal will be better and once again fooled myself.... worse than akkayapalem (signal never crossed 200 kbps).

                    Worthless investment.

                    This is not a complaint against showroom ... this is a complaint against Tata Tele Services Ltd for providing such a poor..rather real horrible signal service.

                    can't even imagine recommending this product to anyone.
                    I am totally unsatisfied with Tata Photon Plus

                      I registered my number on tata indicom site for tata photon + price. Next day a female (SHIKHA-[protected]) called me and said Sir....... do you want to buy tata photon +. We give 3.1 Mbps speed in Rs.800......I was in a need of wireless internet so i asked about the device. But i need that device for Rewari which is in Haryana. That telecaller told me that we can deliver that device in delhi only but after billing you can use it anywhere without any charge. I asked about the speed in Harayana 3-4 times, she confirmed that i will get 3.1 mbps speed there.The dealer had also confirmed the same.

                      Now after the billing process, when i checked the device is Haryana, I am getting a speed of 17 Kbps!!!!!(downloading)
                      WHAT IS THIS!!!!

                      I contacted Customer care, they told me that tata photon + is not activated in Harayana.The telecaller misguided me, they registered my complaint, but closed that complaint saying my number was not reachable, and our telecaller called you. Then i spoke to their SR. EXECUTIVE. That SR. EXECUTIVE said that company can't do anything in this you should talk to the dealer directly or YOU CAN WAIT FOR THE TIME WHEN TATA LAUNCH PHOTON + SPEED IN HARAYANA. The dealer is saying that i sold many connections in Haryana all are working at Photon + speed.

                      So TATA is now advertising by convincing the consumer at any cost, it doesnt matter if its a fraud!!!!!

                      hey man, is it the speed u get in torrent downloads coz even i get the same speed : max : 10kbps while downloading torrent files.
                      They are shaping the traffic for torrent softwares. It is a common practise to put a cap on p2p softwares in the Western countries.But atleast they admit that they do it, but here in india, these guys clandestinely put a cap on unlimited plans.
                      lets get together and kick their !

                      Updates on my complaint:
                      Now an executive called me and said "we had asked to the respective dealer and agent, they are refusing from any type of commitment given by them to you. The dealer is saying that we had given the right info to you.".

                      WELL EVERYBODY KNEW THAT DEALER WOULD SAY THAT NOW!!!

                      I asked him to call the dealer as a customer. But he refused
                      I told him to check the call records of the telecaller who misguided me. But he refused that also, by saying that sir we dont have the authority of checking the call records.

                      THEN WHY IS HE CALLING ME IF HE DONT HAVE ANY AUTHORITY. Just to convince me for using there low speed net which is not even near to 3.1 Mbps.

                      Company is generating my bills. But they are not resolving my issue. I wasted Rs.1799 on the device first. Then Rs.800 is my first plan that i activated. But after having the problem i changed the plan to Rs.250 BECAUSE TATA DONT GIVE YOU THE FACILITY OF HOLDING YOUR ACCOUNT IF ISSUE COMES. Now it becomes a total of Rs.2800 wastage.

                      I asked the executive for giving me a single reason of paying my bills. Then he said i can reduce Rs.200 from it sir.

                      WHAT D HELL!!!

                      He has the authority of deducting my bill. but he dont have any other authority of doing anything which can resolve my issue. Great!!!

                      TATA PHOTON PLUS becomes a nightmare for me!!!

                      I cant stop my account. i cant put it on hold.Nothing

                      I more good news they have also increased my maximum credit limit automatically, which means my account will not close until my billing amount crosses Rs.2500.
                      Cheers...

                      DONT BUY TATA PHOTON PLUS EVER FRIENDS.
                      ITS A BIG RISK.
                      NOTHING WILL HAPPEN IF YOU GET ANY ISSUE

                        Tata / Tata Photon Plus — Very Slow Internet Speed

                        I am using TATA PHOTON plus in a high speed network area (Network is always more than 90%) of Kolkata. Device speed according to their AD is upto 3.1 MBps and I expected around 1Mbps. But I am getting only 30 or 35 KB /s maximum download speed.Most of the time the download speed is around 10-15 KB/s.

                        All my attempts to evoke response from Nodal officer, Call centre have gone in vain, I wish to lodge a formal Consumer complaint for a) Fradulent Advertisement b) breach of contract.

                          My Photon Whiz No. [protected] is not working since last one month. I have given several complaints ( Complaint Nos[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] etc ) I was asked to hand over the device to Service Cenrtre in Mumbai at Ghatkopar. The device was reeived by due servicing after 10 days. Then I was asked to hand over to Tata shop for activation. The device is not getting activated. Every day I am making complaint to the Tolll free number provided by the company, next day I get mail from Tata Photon services web side that the complaint is resolved and closed. I daily fight on the phone and raise fresh complaint.
                          I do not understnd how the complaints are getting closed without resolving? Is their any senior person to look into the issues? No senior persons phone number are provided by the the company. Also their contacts are not available on web side.I do not understand where to fight for the issue.
                          I am getting mentaly tortured by the company services as also the bill is getting generated monthly.

                          If the issue is not getting resoved I will be forced to move to consumer court.

                            Tata photon plus sucks!!! Speed is the most pathetic of all broadband providers.
                            Anyone who wants to go for Tata photon plus or any other tata photon services beware.
                            Tata photon plus speed is a maximum of 10 KBPS in Assam
                            I have been paying Rs950+/ Month for this [censored]in ...even reliance 356 Kbps connection at Rs550/month gives u a minimum of 35 KBPS
                            Which part of Assam are you based in. I currently have a Tata Photon+ and will be moving to Mangaldai - Darrang !!

                              I have a tata photon plus connection at delhi, not received bill as well as the connection not working since one month, on enquiry was informed that I have to pay for the duration the connection not working plus other amount etc etc to get reactivated.
                              I have not received any intimation on my email too on any pending payment.
                              THE COMPANY TOO IS NOT BOTHERED/Inefficiency followed by Goondagiri ?

                              I wish to get it terminated as the situation / inefficiency will continue

                                I have purchased a Tata Photon plus a year back and was promised 3.1 MBPS speed but from the day one it has been performing like a simple GPRS or a typical BSNL dialer connection with speeds averaging 120 KBPS. I have complained 10 times so far. Once in Srinagar a technician came to my house and declared that problem is with the tower but I find the problems everywhere I go. Recently while I was in Delhi the problem of slow speed continued. It has become a nightmare for us. It has let us down at difficult times when we needed internet badly for health reasons at midnight. Now I am being told that since my plan is 950 unlimited so it has a cap after 5 GB download but it seems the cap is on for ever. I have been calling their nodal officer in Jammu at [protected] but a couple of times someone else picked the call saying that "mr Fotedar is not available to talk and he doesnt respond to complains so better talk to me" Now when I call the number even at the time of writing this complain there is no response. I am sick of Tata Photon plus and request people not to fall prey to Tata adverts which are all false. There was time we were proud of brand Tata but now I feel disgusted.

                                  Tata Photon — roaming problem

                                  I have a tata photon whiz. it does not provide service in rajasthan. I have complaint against this but service provider does not take any action. plz take a action. Thank you
                                  That Photon + Issue is resolved, This issue gone through Manager Level .after that this issue solved...like this...Problem
                                  While using Tata Photon + (Pre paid) devise other than metropolitan cities and getting the following errors
                                  1. getting *678 Error
                                  2. when we test the devise connection with Activation process and getting the message as ‘The remote computer did not respond’

                                  Reason for this problem
                                  Other than metropolitan cities (where ever the *678 error is coming) the towers and internet Switch’s are mapped to use Tata Indicom devise and not for HUAWEI devised like Tata Photon +.

                                  Steps to resolve:
                                  1. Check the Settings  Network  Mode Preference– It should be Hybrid / Tata Photon Whiz
                                  2. Do the following steps
                                  a. Get the ‘account tool for TATA.exe’ software from Tata customer care (This software will help to connect Tata Indicom switch’s from HUAWEI devices)
                                  b. Install the ‘account tool for TATA.exe’ in the computer
                                  c. Run the Account.exe software and enter the following information
                                  d. MIN Number - We can get this from Customer care by providing your 10 digit Account number
                                  e. MDN - This is your 10 digit Account number
                                  f. SPC Code – 000000
                                  3. Restart the Tata Photon + devise
                                  4. Check for the Internet

                                    I am using TATA Photon Whiz dialer at my office. Now i got the internet connection from company side, so i have visited TATA office, Limda Chowk, Rajkot. Mr. Prashant is the chair person at TATA office Rajkot whose official contact number is [protected].

                                    I have kept my TATA Photon Whiz connection in safe custody mode in January and Mr. Prashant has committed me that he will call me once your TATA Photon Whiz connection will be properly accepted in safe custody mode.

                                    Though i have made call to Mr, Prashant many time but he was always telling me that he would call me but I have not receive any kind o[censored]pdates on this regard till today i.e.[protected].

                                    Photon +, Tata indicom — No proper service

                                    Last week, i bought Tataindicom Photon +, yet there is no proper signal. Many times, i made complaint to customer care, they did not take any action so far...pls take action against them and ask them to return my money 3500 for their photon+.

At the time of opening the account as per the verbal terms and condition it was informed that for unlimited connection monthly charge would be Rs:800/- per month. But my first bill was for Rs:830/-, and second time the amount was for Rs:950/- & for third time a message for Rs:1028/- received. I am not receiving any bills regularly except first bill. This may be verified at your end the discrepancy may be rectified in order to avoid any further hardship to me.

                                      i had a postpaid tata photon plus connection which i bought in bangalore, Karnataka 1.5 year back. i moved to chennai, tamilnadu after that. 8 months back i changed my connection from postpaid to prepaid in chennai tamilnadu. it got converted based on my request.

                                      But after one month it is disabled due to the documents are not received. still it shows the same status and am not able to use the photon plus connection for past 8 months.

                                      In the mean time i have given my documents again for 3 times in 3 different tata indicom stores in Chennai (based on the customer care executive told ) still the issue is not resolved.

                                      Am tired on calling customer care, and submitting documents again and again. i want to get the resolution for this ASAP. Else return back my money and take the tata photon plus device. ill go ahead with the good customer friendly service.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I am user of Tata Photon+ data card on my no. is [protected]. Tata claimed speed of 3.1 Mbps., but I am getting very slow speed. I made repeated requests to them, and today on 05/06/2012 at around 20.00 hrs., at their tollfree no.[protected], some person Mr. Zeeshan attended the call and told that we claim speed UPTO 3.1 Mbps. my speed of download was 0.75 mbps and upload was 0.51 mbps and ping was 100 ms.

                                        The person told that your speed of 0.75 is our average speed and we can't register your complaint.

                                        I request you to kindly look into the matter that what speed Tata is claiming and charging for that and what speed they are providing.

                                        It is a clear cut cheating with the subscriber, they publish Highest speed to attract the customer and when customer complaints about speed then they say about average speed.

                                        Kindly look into the matter and take serious action against the cheating with the subscriber.

                                        However I am attaching the printscreen of speedtest.

                                        I have a tata photon plus. i am recharged it with 1200rs plan but i am getting very slow speed between 5kbps to 15kbps
