dear sir,
im fed up of your this bad service of photan plus in lucknow city,from last 4 weeks im continiously trying your customer care number,but on each call im put on hold then it will be disconnected.
the internet connection is working very slow,some times it wl stop working suddenly,im very much upset from this service,it wl wirk like a mobile net connection not such as a "HSIA".
either gv me the solution or pls tell me the way to surrender this connection andgo for a better one.

    Hi,

    This is regarding the tata photon plus connection(Device number [protected]).
    On Saturday my net connection got disconnected suddenly without any prior information, mails or calls.
    On Saturday i called the customer service around 7-8 times !!!!!!!!
    Around 5:30 when i called, a lady picked the call and told me that i will get the net connection Saturday itsel[censored]
    Premnath(The supervisor) told me it is not possible and he told me that it will be done by Monday, when i called the customer service on Monday someone called Salima picked the call and told me that in her system the resolution date is 23rd!!!!!!!!
    I explained her all the scenario then she promised me on Monday it will be done.
    Monday i waited till 7 Pm and again called the customer service someone named Sreedhar picked the call and said it will be done by 10:30 pm for sure!!!!!!!!

    I waited till 11 Pm and again i called then some Manager told that it will be done on Tuesday only and he disconnected the call just like that!!!!!!!!!

    Just now i got a call saying that it has been activated..........

    Sorry to say this but this is not the customer service i expected when i paid around 2800 for this product..



    I don't know why you people are contradicting with each other??? Please don't cheat your customers like this..
    I have never experienced a worst customer service than this..The supervisor himself is not capable of doing anything(He refused to send a mail also)

    my tata photon plus ac no[protected], when connected my device this type of error viewing the scren
    (the connection attempt failed because the modem (or other connecting device)on the remote computer is out of order).please solve the problem immediatly.

      Dear Sir/mdam,

      I bought a Tata Photon two months back having Tata Indicom number [protected].
      After using the photon I found that speed is very very low. I contacted customer support they gave me various settiing but couldnot increase the speed. The speed I was getting was in the range of 100 to 200 kbps. This was tested from the website provided by Tata support executive. The complaint was registered docket number[protected] has been closed on 03-FEB-11.Now i dont understnad how could they close the complaint without my satisfaction,the executive who visited my place,also admitted that iam getting a speed of 200 kbps after he checked from his method.
      Various executive visited my house, changed various setting in the computer but could not increase the speed. They checked with 2-3 computers at various locations in house and even used their own laptop to check but of no avail.
      Now i dont understand the executive went back and didnt replied as to what action he is taking for the slow speed.You are requested to look into the matter with urgency iam paying heavy bills every month ,which i cannot bear any more.if you are not able to resolve the issue ,do let me know and please refund my money and take back the apparatus or replace with somethnig that gives speed.
      Now if my problem is not resolved soon i will take stern action against the company for this poor service.Can anybody help me to get rid of this tension as iam simply harassed by this poor service as Iam unable to work and Iam using my relatives broadband for my work.Its really bothering me.If competent are reading this better do something ASAP.I will take this matter to higher ups if its NOT resolved in reasonable time. iam paying 900/month as rental and iam not able to use even Rs9 worth of internet.Please look into the matter with utmost urgency.
      i know the technical feasibility and here iam not asknig for 3.1 mbps speed but atleast it should not be 200 kbps.I do not understand why do you people need so much time to resolve such a petty issue,you have executives,franchises in every nook and corner of the city.
      so i hope a speedy reply and response from the people at tata.

        I have purchased the TATA Photon+ from Vriti infocom on 8th Feb 10. For three days I am trying activation but it is not happening. When I call Vriti infocom no body is picking up the call and some times during conversation they are disconnecting the line. when I was calling TATA customer care every time they are giving new reasons and asking me to contact Vriti only. I am fed up now and want to surrender the Photon and look for the another option.

          i would like to introduce myself as a customer of tata photon plus as well as land line connection. i am having one tata photon plus no [protected] in the name of chandra nand jha. agianst this no i have got the bill of rs 930 and the due date of which was 23rd feb but i have already paid in advance but even after that the connection is being disconnected. i was on my business trip of ahmedabad but the same no was being disconnected by the company resulting to that i was not able to complete my urgent work. now i request you to please return my money as i am not interested to continue with the same.

            Hi,

            I have downloaded Photon TV application on my laptop. But i am unable to subscribe to the channels.

            As per instructions of subscribing to channels i have selected the channel->clicked on play button-> it gets stopped and nothing happens.
            In actual scenario a popup should open and ask for subscribing code right?


            Kindly revert asap what i can do further.
            I am another victim of pathetic Photon TV. Half the time "Data Error" even when my network connection is alright. Pathetic service. Why do you guys sell something which you dont have?

              Sir,

              i have tataphoton plus mobile number: [protected] from mumbai. i had taken connection from purohit(india) infocomm. i took my conection on 18th jan 2010. the agent from dealer came to my place showed me the speed ,installed my software adn i paid 5200rs in cheque for 6months plan of 5GB at 3.1mbps and after that unlimited at reduced speed. The internet worked fine for 5-6 days until my cheque is passed.After that my problems started. i was unable to open any website from the home. i called the customer care centre to find out the reason. They said that there is problem of internet all over india that day. Next day i called again as internet is not working at all and asked technician visit. the technician called next day at 3.15pm and said he is coming n i said ok. i waited for 2hrs and moved out. he again called at 5.20pm and said he is will come . i said i waited for him for two hours then called customer care to inform i am leaving as i have appointment.i told him to come at next day between 4-5pm. Next day the technician came at 12.30pm and closed the complaint with out telling me why i was getting slow speed. i got a mail from tata telling me my complaint no.[protected] is closed. i called customer care to know the reason but they told me that i will get only 15kbps speed at my place. the rpoblem is with rf. he told he cannot do any thing instead gave me email id to cry on mail for the loss of money. i am staying in mumbai at santacruz ( its like centre of city not out side of city). i am loosing money buti cannot do any thing until i get signal in my place. it will happen only when they install new site signal( some blah blah told by customer care executive named rajesh).i paid for 6 months, now i am loosing Rs 27.7 per day as i am not getting any thing out of my internet connection which i already paid.

              i feel like i am cheated. above that customer care executive said he is helpless.

                  I have two tata photon + connections. Both were previously postpaid. I gave an application to migrate both the conncetions from postpaid to prepaid. I submitted proper documents along with the application on 23rd December 2010. The person who received the application said it would take 48 hours. After 2 working days I called to ask the process, they had not even started, so I raised a concern in Tata Photon customer care. So they migrate from postpaid to prepaid, did not even inform me about it and did not give me directions about what to do next. I had to continuously call them to get through the procedure. So on 1st January 2011, both the numbers were converted to prepaid. So I recharged both the numbers with Rs.500 each. Then suddenly on 14th January both the connections were disconnected without any warning. When I asked the reason they said the documents were not updated. Since the migration was done I had presumed the application along with the documents had reached the concerned person at Tata Photon and hence processed. Instead of trying to find out where the application documents were lost they insisted me to updated the documents again. It was the beginning of the working week when I lost the broadband service and could not update the documents. The same weekend was a "bandh" in Bangalore hence the outlets were closed hence could not update the documents. Again the next week I could not make time to update the documents.
                  In all this time I spent hours repeating the same story to all the people in customer care. All the customer care executives were either giving false promises or try to speak to me like it was all my mistake and I had to face the consequences. One of the executives told if I scan the documents and send to customer care email-ID, the problem will be solved. I scanned the required documents and sent via email on 20th January 2011. Nothing happened after that. The frustrated phone calls to the customer care continue for hours all these days.
                  Now I want to cancel both the connections.
                  I want to get back the device money and the recharge amount that I have not used.
                  I want to complaint against:
                  - their un-professional action of disconnecting the connection for no mistake of mine and in-spite of paying the amount and submitting the application and document.
                  - keeping the customer away from important information like documents being lost, or steps to activate the account or about possible disconnecting of the connection.
                  - their customer care executives who made many false promises, not keeping the customer information and complaints updated and trying to confuse the customer purposefully and distract the customer from the complaint.

                    the speed of photon plus prepaid is too slow.what company offers speed is totally baseless.it has low speed of 1kbps...i think aircel provide a good speed at much cheaper rates 98...

                      Serious complain regarding the method of approaching , about the speed .... , and after sale services....., and also login, time taken to accept the rechgarge and validate......, for this we had face lots of problems... and as such the rules & acts ammendment by the DOT,.. it is therefore very serious for the people of our state to accept such types of services from your end.



                      the Photon + is being purchased by us at about 8 months before pursuated by a fraud shop namely swagatam lacated at the city of Agartala.

                      It is therefore requested you to kindly stop such type fraudness makes by your agency.. for betterment of mankind ....

                        I urge you NEVER USE THE SERVICES OF TATA PHOTON PLUS, SERVICES AND NETWORK IS VERY VERY POOR, BETTER OPTION TO GO FOR BSNL INTERNET SERVICES. I had very bad experience of Tata Photon Plus. Never in my life I will again use Tata Products.

                        Tata Photon — cheated wrong speeds target offering by company

                        i the owner of tataindicom photon was told that they are offering high speed internet with a average range between 300kbps to 900kbps but i am getting average speed of 60 to 85kbps my phone no of TATA photon is [protected]
                        Dear Team,
                        Because of really bad speed after 5 pm, I would like to disconnect my tata photon subscription.Also I requested to block my connection for 1 month as I was out of station still i paid 1127 Rs as bill amount to renew my service, If I have not used my net connection why I am supposed to pay.The speed after 5 pm is like up:0.1Kb and down:1.2Kb
                        What I will do with this much of speed.I cannot do my office work.
                        And while logging complaints the system shows the below error:Error occurred while inserting the complaint.Please try again.
                        Dear Management, I have purchase tata photon worth of Rs.1700/- on 11.12.09 but till today i.e. 18.12.09. Due to company's hardware problem i am not able to use this modem more than 10 minutes. From last 5 days of time Ace Tele Services at Bhavnagar informing that this is your lap top problem. They have change my XP version from service pack 2 to service pack 3 but there is not any result. Then dealer's technician has try the same in their two different desktop but finally they accept the default. But between this time of acceptance and non-acceptance i have lost my atleast 10 working hours of time. Till moment, they are discussing the problem instead of change the instrument.
                        my complain is regarding TATA photon prepaid connection no [protected] deactivated without any information when i go through verification than , i just find out that my documents are not reached to pune office so they have disconnected my photon plus even i have recharged it with 500/ rs but balance is not showing whose transaction id no is[protected] if it will be possible to send my documents on mail by scan copy let me know but not activating my photon is just i am losing the confidence in using tata products in future .please do the needful otherwise i launched the complain against the dealer ,these peoples are just interested to make the targets not interested in giving the services . or please take your instrument back & pay my amount as early as possible.

                        tata services are just sales man target achievements based they are not interested in giving good services to the costumer .even when you inform top management than they try to solve the problem if you know anybody on top other wise just don't purchase the product in future.
                        yes i also have the same kind of problems the problem is in initial stages, iam not told as to how to check balance.

                        when i go to tata indicom web site and register for new user and type my 10 digit photon plus prepaid number it say that the number is wrong

                          the tata company is fraud they are theifs taking money from there costumers .tata photon dosnt give speed of 3 mbps also we didnt get above 2.5 mbps airtel is beter then this garbage.we are feeling very bad that we have brought this filthy gadget.
                          Tata photon plus have cheated consumers and are cheating many more They have disguised the consumers by claiming very high speed i.e Upto 3.1 Mbps This wordings is a trap as its actual speed falls between 238 Kbps to 650 Kbps This I have tried at various location and at diffrent timmings Can TRAI put this to an end????????

                            sir, i ghannshyam kandel from bhopal, and i used tata photon whiz postpaid plan for 6 months, but now i want to dissconnect my number, i also give application for discontinuance of my number, but even after 48 hours they didnt discontinued my number.Please disconnect my plan and settled my account as quickly as possible, because i dont want to pay for extra days.My tata photon whiz no.[protected] and my contact number is [protected]

                            I am using Tata Photon Whiz.I am getting message when I am getting recharge but recently I recharged with Rs.224 easy recharge to my modem mentioned above recharge was successful ok but how can I know the free minutes status of the modem I don't understand because when I called to customer care executive they replied to get register in Tataindicom website I am not getting clear information regarding the status of my modem please help me it is request.

                                This is regarding complaint of my Tata Photon Plus INternet card.

                                  I had taken phton plus postpaid connection 5 months back. Since my laptop got crashed i had to close my connection on 15th Jan 2011. Before closing account i have contacted customer care offfice and they intimated i can take connection in future since the Photon Plus device is not not refundable. And now when i am trying reactivate my account, neither they are giving me service nor returning my device. None of the customer care giving the exact solution. They are harassing by giving multiple tata tele service outlet address but none of the outlet giving the right solution. regarding this i have lost my whole day and not finding an issue till now. I dont have more idea about Pune city and they are forcing me travel to one location to another. Please halp me...i am really fed up with their service.

                                    According to the Customer Care Manager Vishal Kadam and jayesh I am getting the proper and fine speed..but I am getting only 130-560 Kb/sec.. And on the contract its no where mentioned that I will get around 256 Kb/s .. I am on 3.1 Mb/s. but they never gave any speed near to the Max speed.. Everyday I am lossing 2k from last 10 weeks... I Want all copensation of 10 k.. as the behaiour of agent is so rude.. I made 50 calls atleast but no action has been taken what so ever.. Please Help me..

                                      Received Photon plus on Tuesday afternoon[protected]. Activated the same day by your man. Gives me a speed of 10kbps only. Today's file will open tomorrow. Absolutely no customer service from your end. I chose Photon over Reliance only because of the name (Tata). All telephone numbers given to me by your representatives remain ringing. This product - if not set right within 24 hrs. will be released to the consumer court as proof of your representative cheating a senior citizen.

                                        I am using an Idea mobile number from last 2 years. Now from last 6 months i am receiving sms and calls from tata photon for bill payments and internet usage details of number [protected], but I am not having any tata photon connection. on asking the help center in sector 35, Chandigarh, to remove my number they refused. I also talked the customer care and they also didn't gave any good feedback and they said this number(my mobile number) has been registered with us as a alternate number and will not be removed.
                                        I don't know how i can get rid of this problem.In future this problem can be faced by anyone as people change mobile numbers so frequently

                                        Please go through the mail below before buyng TATA Photon Plus.

                                        Latest update : After posting this mail to Tata indicom customer care, I got a reply saying that if I pay 1500 and buy a new device I will be able to use Tata photon internet. So they mean that everytime you switch location, you dump your device and buy a new one so those at Tata indicom will get their monthly pay.
                                        Even though I am the owner of the useless device, I am unable to use it because of the in TATA indicomm.


                                        This is regarding the series of issues I am facing with my TATA photon plus usb device.

                                        I bought a Photon Plus device last year, from a TATA dealer at Powai, Mumbai. I gave my local Mumbai address (Mahakali Caves, Andheri, Mumbai ) and obtained a postpaid connection. The postpaid account number is[protected]. The TATA indicom person came to the address specified above, and installed the device on my laptop . After using the postpaid connection for about two months, I applied for converting my postpaid connection to prepaid connection at TATA indicom showroom at Sakinaka, Mumbai. I went to Sakinaka office continously for about three months, and then got my postpaid connection converted to prepaid . The prepaid number is [protected].

                                        Till December, I was using the prepaid connection, after which I got transferred to Chennai, TamilNadu. After that when I tried to access my device in Chennai, I got an error that my account was blocked. So, I called up the Customercare and they said that an address verification was held in Mumbai at January, and since I was not at Mumbai at that point of time, my device was blocked.

                                        So, I applied for a fresh prepaid connection at TamilNadu, and tried to activate the device. But again, when I tried to activate using the new number, I received the message that my device is blocked. So I went to the dealer at Chennai, and told him the problem. He checked with TATA authorities and said that the Mumbai number is still in my device and it needs to be removed from my device in order for me to use the device again. So, when I tried to contact customer care to remove the Mumbai number from my device, I got the most surprising answer from the Customer care executive . He said that the number [protected] was registered to some other person (it was a male) in Mumbai.

                                        It was a shock to me to know that the prepaid number which I had been using for about 3 months was actually registered in the name of some other person. Finally the customer care guy said that it is impossible for me to use the device again, as the number can be removed only if the person to whom the number is registered to, applies to disconnect the number.

                                        My wonder is how come people at TATA indicom showroom at Sakinaka gave me a prepaid number that was already registered in some other person's name. They had given a connection in the name of some non-existent person, and finally say that the device is blocked because I was not at that address. How can I apply to deactivate the connection if the connection itself was provided in some other person's name. If I had given wrong address, how could the TATA indicomm person come to that address and installed the device on my laptop?? This is really irritating. Because of the mistake done by some stupid officials at Sakinaka office, I am unable to use the device that I bought for about Rs. 1800.

                                        I have enough proof to show that I am the original owner of the device and that I was using the postpaid and prepaid connections from my laptop.

                                        I bought the device using TATA employees discount. I had provided my ID card for ID proof. I have used my HDFC account to pay bills for my postpaid account, and to recharge the prepaid account.

                                        Since I am the original owner of the device, I feel I deserve the right to use the device. Just because some careless registered my connection in someone else's name, I cant be made to suffer for his carelessness. I can provide enough proof to claim the ownership. And that being said, I request you to act hastily so that I could be able to use the device within a week.

                                        I am getting frustrated day by day for wasting my money on a useless device. Its been six months since I came to Chennai, and I am unable to check mails or connect to internet just because I bought an useless device. I request you to take the necessary action immediately, as I cannot waste my time further on this useless device. If my complaint is not resolved in a week, I have no other option than to dump this device and opt for some other network provider who provide good customer service, and most importantly, who dont cheat customers . I also inform you that if I cant use this device, I want a full refund of my money, failing which I may be forced to take legal actions against you for all the distress and mental agony that I have been through so far.

                                        Hoping this issue will be resolved soon.
