My complain no is 16a51pmm, but no action has being taken from your end so please resolve the issue As soon As possible . i have contact by customer care
from 12/7/2018 but no progress as bein notified from tata sky.

    I have an annual subscription (ID: [protected]) for TataSky dish tv service. As I was out of town for an extended period I had requested to have this transmission put on hold. On returning to my home, I called the helpline number shown on their screen to reactive the transmission service. This reactivation was done satisfactorily within a couple of hours.
    However, after receiving my monthly phone bill, I realised that I had been charged for an international call (Rs.56 +18% tax) for the call to their helpline number[protected] which appears on the TV screen. No local or toll-free number is provided on the screen.
    The question for TataSky is this: Is this your standard practice to expect your subscriber to incur a heavy telephone charge to avail of a standard assistance of your service?
    Subsidiary questions: Why does TataSky not warn the subscriber that international call rates will apply for the calls to[protected]?
    And why does TataSky not provide a local number or a toll-free number on the screen as a standard practice?
    Also, if I did not have the facility for placing an international call on my phone, I would not have been able to avail of assistance.

      Dear Sir,
      Sub: Customer grievance not addressed and failure to refund for the mistake done by the DTH operator against natural justice.

      I am a customer of TataSky DTH services for long time. Just few days back when I saw Tatasky is providing new kind of HD Set Top Box (STB) with new features Ethernet port and two USB port which I was waiting for long. So I decided to buy a child connection mainly for the new features of the box. So I ordered the child connection with customer care on 11-July-18 mentioning I want the letest STB with above features. But the guy was not technically sound and he promised they will provide me the latest model STB. Within one hour the local distributor sent installation guy with a different STB which was not the model ordered by me.

      When I asked the guy this is not the box I ordered for which he said you have ordered with customer care(herein after refereed as CC) so you contact them for replacement. Next day on 12-July-2018 I asked about this with CC, they told me we will provide what STB is available. So I contacted the distributor and asked about this and he told me had I asked for the particular type of box we would have provided that and now we cant help as you ordered wit CC. CC are not ready to advise the distributor to change the box.

      I wanted to buy one product and placed order for that but I receive a different product which is not required for me because of the fault of either Tatasky CC or the distributor. But it is not my fault.

      So I decided to cancel the order and asked for refund for which the CC head is saying once the product is given out it becomes the customer property and no refund is possible. Had they gave me the same STB which I ordered I would not have cancelled the order. They send a different STB and refuse to give refund.

      This is unfair business practice and against business ethics. I have talked with CC many times but they are nor accepting and on every call they increase one day for redressal call back.

      So I am very much dissatisfied with the attitude of Tatasky in addressing customer complaints and are trying to cheat the customer in whatever way possible.

      So I am escalating the issue with you requesting you to interfere and resolve the issue.

      I want to bring to your notice if all avenues are closed I will seek legal remedies at your cost.

        I have tata sky (No hd) (6 years old purchased set - subscriber id-[protected]). I was facing no signal issue for more than 3 days so i raised a complaint with tata sky.

        Post analysis, technician told me to replace the lnb as my dish had universal lnb instead of super lnb and this will cost 570 rupees! I discussed with him that if this was the lnb which should have been for set-top box then why did they installed the other type of lnb earlier? Moreover such replacement shouldn't cost as the earlier one was not faulty/damaged. But all discussions went into vain and finally i had to give him the money he was asking. Upon asking about the bill he said I will get it on message. My suspicion got stronger when I called customer care and asked about the bill info and warranty of the lnb . customer care representative said if you have paid the amount to the technician then you will not get the bill details on message. I insisted him to pay the bill online then Why the technician asked for the bill amount?
        Since for my set top box it was supposed to be super lnb then why do i need to pay 570 for it. Moreover why did the earlier dish (Complete new connection) was installed with in-compatible lnb. He has installed a lnb of company called 'Sharp' when I searched for the price online I got to know it only costs 240 rs.

        Please take actions at the earliest and revert the amount.

          I recharge my tata sky id for your 11+ 1 plan on 6 jan 2018 my nxt recharge time is 6 jan 2019. But after six month one ur exicutive call to me u have not activated ur account for one year plan. I have no idea o[censored]r plans and recharge and ur company not informed early . Now ur official tell to me ur recharge ends on nov 2018 it is my financial loss.

              My Tata sky set top box is not receiving any signal from Saturday Sunday Mon Tuesday and Wednesday and only once Jagdish attended on Tuesday 11AM saying Splitter used on common antenna is defective and asked for 600 Rs cash to replace it with condition that it should not be informed to anybody in Tatasky .Since he was not giving receipt or take 300 each from both connected subscribers, he left without connecting splitter. After complaining four times also no body attended till now for two appointments given by sms and also promising to repair today morning by TATA SKY call centre authorities no action is taken so far. Your call centre associates/ seniors/ supervisors has no knowledge/authority about the action taken or technician booked to attending fault or their mobile no as EXCEPT Sorry no answer is given by even seniors. Only false promises are given for repairing. To night again third time promise is given to repair in 24 hrs by taking appointment in 2 hrs. So only messages and no work is done by call centre

              once again false promise received to repair in 24 hrs by taking appointment in next two hours. BUT WHY THE TECHNICIAN FAILED TO ATTEND TODAY IS NOT INFORMED. All call centres employees/supervisors are not doing any positive work except listening and replying every thing in one word SORRY AS THEY ARE TRAINED LIKE THIS AND NO INFORMATION FEEDBACK OR POWER IS GIVEN TO EVEN SUPERVISORS OF CALL CENTRE STAFF

              Even Tata sky has not taken any action against Jagdish mob no [protected] technician who removed defective splitter of two subscribers of A4 and A8 and demanded Rs 600 without receipt and condition of not informing Tatasky authorities, because Tatasky do not pay them adequately in time. This means Tata Sky is looting the both customers as well as technicians thereby customer is double looted / robbed by Tata Sky and technicians and still the service is worst which fails as soon as rain starts and so fully on the mercy of Tata sky Technicians and rains in rainy season. So most of the time even call centre associates and even seniors are not available on phone

I registered a complain and your service provider told me you should not pay any visit charge. Further 100 rs visit charge deducted from my account. Why you provide such wrong information to the customer.

                    Its been 20 days that i have the signal issue and have called the customer service more than 18 times and have connected with online chat several times and also raise more than 4 service requests online. requests have been closed without an update, chats agents will reply that they will send a technician to check the issue, nothing will happened and when we call they will schedule a site visit which never happened and they have close the requests that the issue has been resolved. i paid for this month but never used the service..this is the worst customer service i have had in a long time..they send payment remainder messages but dont have time to check the issues...stupid way of running a service.

And why showing amount rs 213 ? Please do next recharge DT on 8-8-18 as p honesty, iam your new customer, unfortunately you charge first few months 180 and now 220, ok paying regularly as you charge, please don't hesitate me to recharge 2 days before date ?

                        Tatasky management wrongly entered cable wire usage and deducted money 350rs from my I'd and collected extra 100rs. Technicians visit home and said that problem is our end will add money within 3 days this happen on 23 June, today date is July 8th till now the issue is not resolved and they closed my complaint without any information to me.                             Some days ago, my tata sky setup box not working, sales person changed it & taken price of it with service charge. After some days of it, It again with same condition, not working setup box. Sales person had changed some cables & adapter & taken service charge more than 600rs. This type of issues happened 2 times after it.

                            Today morning same thing happened, already booked complaint, no person will come.

                            This is worst experience with tata sky, bad service, bad product, bad customer support.

                            Want to change Tata sky to another provider.

                              New website is a disaster..so poorly designed..After struggling 15 min i could not figure out how to renew..it shows the package is due for renewal--but there is no button to renew...no link for any customer feedback/suggestion...unexpected from Tatas..very very poor...their last tv interface upgrade also was disaster..which they rolled back...they should roll back website also

I have contact many times to custmer care of tata sky but they gives only prommise to everytime. The technical team of tata sky is not supporting. My booking id is [protected].                                   this excecutive had call against best offer for my tatasky d2h hd id no. [protected] name:- sameer patel. For one year subscription pack. He called me on 1st july 2018 and says, if you recharge with rs. 7225/- so your 3 nos connection will be contiuenue for the year and its a best offer with 50% of plan from the tata sky company.
                                  After that i agree and recharged but amount deducted from my bank account rs.4600/- but not recharged.
                                  So i request to the tata sky company athorised person to take strickly decesion against this metter.

                                    i had complained on 6th july 2018 11:15 am. As per your tata sky executive, complain would resolve within 24 hrs & u received call within 2 hrs but no call till 7th july up to 5:16 pm (till no call ) I had got message that person would come from 2:20 pm to 4:20 pm. No body came & no call. I call tata sky executive that "person will not come" is not issue but at least tell him to call me or u call him & told me when he will come. but ur 4 executives had told me that this is not possible to call person, this is not in our system . Is this correct system?

                                        Issue - Ref : 14SBIL77 - Given by Tata sky Nodal officer.

                                        My account has been charged Rs/700 for replacement of the set top box which in our view was not to be replaced. We referred the issue to Nodal officer and we had a detailed call. After the call the service manager said that the amount will be reimbursed. However, I am still waiting for it to be reversed. It is several weeks now. Instead my email Id has been blocked by nodal officer. Hence I am using this forum.
                                        I have also registered a complain again 1635OLB1.

                                        Copying the text of my original mail sent on 8th May.

                                        Here are the chain of events.
                                        - We start facing Error 02 a few weeks back. Lodged a complaint. Some one came and cleaned the digi card and said it is old card. Needs to be cleaned.
                                        - The Error 02 started coming again after a couple of days. We started cleaning the card ourselves.
                                        - Since it became irritating, we raised the complaint again/
                                        - This time the digicard was changed. We were charged 300/- . The problem was solved for a few days. But started again.
                                        - We took out the card and I observed the card was a old card. with several scratches. Every time we cleaned, the card would work for sometime.

                                        - This time when I raised a complaint, I insisted that I speak to a senior call center supervisor.
                                        - I informed him that this needs a senior engineer. I was promised that the issue will be resolved.

                                        - The engineer came and said the card again needs to be changed. But he did not have a new working card. He said he will come again next day and replace the card.

                                        - He DID NOT COME and the request was CANCELLED by service engineer.

                                        - I raised this issue to your call center and reach out to nodal mail id.

                                        The engineer came today and said the box needs to be changed. We will now be charged 700 . The box is again an old repaired box. We did not approve the replacement of the box.

                                        Since I was in office, this happened in presence of my wife. We are extremely unhappy with this kind of service and charging for old equipment.

                                        We are actually being harrased by the engineers. The following is the reason
                                        1. They replaced the card with an old card and charged us 300 Rs. Obviously the old card started to give the same problem.
                                        2. Next time, they cancelled our service request without changing the card with a new card. Without informing us.
                                        3. Instead of changing the card with a new card, they have changed the box itself with an old one. And we will be charged Rs. 700 for that.
