Tata Sky work order number: P9B0R1G, complaint number : PBU8T21. Complain was lodged on June 1, 2016 regarding non availability of few channels despite payment of the subscription charges (subsciption paid till October 2016). The set of channels are not available to multiple flats in the same building and several complaints have been lodged from the same building. A technician (Sachin-[protected]) visited the premises on June 2, 2016 and had said that there was 'carbon build-up' on the dish and he would come on the morning of next day and clear it up. Nobody turned up on the next day. We customers kept waiting for the full day. The said technician when contacted said he was on leave and gave contact details of another person Pravin ([protected]). Without inspection, Pravin informed that 'Super LMBF' needs to be installed and he would send a technician on next day i.e. June 4, 2016. On June 4, 2016, Pravin has not responded to several calls on his cell. Meanwhile, Sachin has also not responded to calls. When lodged a complain with the call center on June 4, 2016 at 4 p.m. Mr. Vijay Kumar assured that response would be given within an hour. Again no response! When contacted the call center at 9 p.m. on June 4, 2016, Mr. Shravan was not at all apologetic about the poor services of the company and kept repeating that technician would contact tomorrow - June 5, 2016. I think this is very poor service from the company and absolutely irresponsible behaviour of the employees.There is clear lack of co-ordination and no employee has demonstrated the courtesy to be upfront in giving transparent information to the customers! While the company would not hesitate to cut off the channels even if there is a delay of a single day in renewal of subscription, when its their turn to provide good service, the complains are falling over deaf ears. Hope this grievances reaches the officials at a senior level who are responsible enough to take appropriate action immediately.

Never received any revert on this. Is this complaint reaching the right person?
tata sky is behaving in a very autocratic manner.

    I have been using tata sky from past 2 years, but recently from past 6 months their customer service have become pathetic.
    I called them around 10 times to just get a technician to my house, as i was having some issues with the signal, but no one responded to my request.

    I am still calling them daily, but not getting any response.
    If any body know, kindly let me know is there any other way to get it fixed.

      I have called to tatasky customer care for assistance on signal issue yesterday (3 june 2016) @2.20 pm. A work order no PAO38SR was generated And was told that technician will get in touch within two hours also I recieved the mesaage for the same. But no one came or contacted me. Then I called customer care today @ 9.45am again i was assured that technician will contact within two hours. I waited for 2 hours but no one turned up.
      After all of this again I had to make call to customer care for the same and they also have the same response. I have never seen pathetic service where false promises are provided to customers.
      If this is not resovled soon then I have no option to switch to other dth provider as their dabba setbox is of no use without signals for me.

        I have changed my base pack to dhamal kids but no any kids channels coming.
        I have called 6 to 7 times in customer service.
        Also did sms of sr to 56633.
        But still my issue is not resolved.
        My i'd is = [protected]
        Registered mobile number [protected]
        In my last call the customer service person tells that oi have to pay 200for technical visit.
        This is so ridiculous why should i pay for your foult.
        I am able to see other channels only kids channels not coming, means there is no issue from my set top box or my dish.
        Kindly help in this today by evening.
        Or else i will go in consumer court.
        Also will put issue on social media about pathetic service response.
        Hope you take this seriously.

          I have been following up with customer care since last 4 days and every time they have either given me the fake assurance stating an engineer will come and get the installation done only twice there was a visit by some installers (So called engineers) who came and just saw and said we will come back and every time i called customer care executives mentioned i denied or there was some other nonsense issue... The reason use to change every time i called every executive told it will be done in 2 hours and lastly one executive has disconnected the call and denied to transfer the call. I am very much fed up and the charges are deducted also daily charges are levied without using any services.

            Tata sky call center (Telephone no: [protected]) always forgets to revert package into previous pack after offering additional free pack with existing one base pack for which we, the customers, always suffer for making payment of high rate package.In effect today, i. E., 03/06/16, i have to renew my package further due to deactivation of my account in spite of last renewal on 12.5.2016. The total count of the days from 12/05/16 to 03/06/16 is less than one month.

            My Tata sky Registered mobile No: [protected] . My last two recharge dt 12/05/16 and 03/06/16(due to deactivation). At present I have changed my pack into Dhamal mix pack on 03/06/16 with written complaint to call centre as "Your call center(Telephone No: [protected]) always forgets to revert package into previous pack after offering additional free pack with existing one base pack for which we, the customers, always suffer for making payment of high rate package."

            My main complaint is 1) the practice of change into high rate package without written information by E-mail, is to be stopped by Tata sky call center or Call center has to be change by Tata Sky 2) My early payment on 03/06/16 due to deactivation of my Tata Sky account must be compensated.

              Since long I am not able to view channels like Dd India, ETV Odia, mbc, Prameya news 7 kalinga TV etc which I used to view casually. When I lodged complaint, the toll free technician advised me to lodge complain so that a technician visit my place for which I have to pay.                   I have been complaining about the tata sky from last so many days! Nothing happened! I want to talk to somebody who can solve my problem! The charges of my package increased without letting me know! Hd channels are not working! I need to change my package i have tried talking to customer care but they are so careless they are not even bothered! I seriously wasted my money on tatasky it is not worth!

                    This is to bring your kind notice that i am a user commercial user of tata sky hd set top up box. I am unable to see ten & ten hd channel in my tv. My customer id is [protected]. I made a complain regarding same to tata sky customer care on 29/05/2016 i. E. Sunday. Care center told me tomorrow i. E.30.05/2016 my technician team will visit your place. But no one has come. Again i called to care center on 31/05/2016. I got same reply. I am calling everyday and i am getting same reply. Even i have spoken to higher authority of care center also and they also replied the same. Still the problem has not been solved and no one has visited at our place. Today is 03/06/2016. I do not know what kind of customer service i am getting. Now i am confused that what to do, should i removed the tata sky and get a new connection from other subscriber or what?

                      I wrote a mail to tata sky on 8th May 2016 asking them to stop my services for 15 days since i was going on a vacation. Their call center numbers were not working. The y responded with a automail with a number OCDT5CY. Now when i have asked why the account is not extended by 15 days they say they received no such request. When i ask them about the auto response service request number which was provided to me they say it was for installation. When my mail is for temperory suspension how can it become installation.

                        I have complained for the shifting of my connection from one flat to another flat with in a radius of 50 meters 4 days back and till date even not a single person called or resolved the issue in-spite i have called customer care at least 10 times but except false promises nothing has happened.
                        I request all the consumers to not to have tata sky in your life time as they are simly cheaters.
                        My tata sky complaint no is p8925xl.

                          The above quoted ID user started using service with monthly subscription of Rs. 280/- for the channels made available as per package within the monetary limit stated above. The user never made any call or sent any SMS for increase of any channel. But the service provider kept increasing the channels and monthly subscription and for the month of May 2016, it ask the user for an amount of Rs. 380. It was deposited and its validity was up to May 30th of 2016.

                          On 6th May 2016the user requested the Service provider to change the plan/package and the same was done and brought to Rs. 270/- per month, message available on Mobile phone, with next date of recharge 10th June 2016. On the date shifting of plan from existing one to desired one, Balance of money available, as per information provided by the service provider, was Rs. 323.23. Then, suddenly from 22nd or 23rd May 2016, they started flashing message for lesser amount of money and demanded Rs. 570/- stating 24th as last date and eventually deactivated the service from 24th May 2016. Here, it is again mentioned that there was no demand for additional channels and hence no SMS or call was made. It is also surprising that those channels which are free of cost were also not made available. It is my humble submission to see the case and decide accordingly and justice may be delivered immediately to avoid any undesired legal battle.

                            It's really a matter of regret that after repeated phone call emails regarding no services and
                            signal till today after 72 hours I am not getting services from your side.Everyday I got
                            assurance today my complaint will be sort out but on calling I got massage my complaint is
                            discarded .And your Amritsar service Center neither pick the phone nor reply properly it only
                            ask for money for services and even they don't know how to talk to customer.

                            So I am really impressed with the services which you are providing me after paying advance
                            annual charges to you.

                            So I think that I am not eligible for your such a marvelous services Please took back your set
                            up box and refund me my balance amount.

                              I am sharing my email extract sent to Tata Sky addressing to Mr Harit Nagpal, the Head of Tata Sky on email id [protected]@tatasky.com since I do not have his email id.

                              Dear Mr Harit Nagpal,

                              I am not sure whether you will get this email or not but still I am addressing this to you and shall forward this mail to you through various sources whether it takes me to reach to Mr Cyrus P Mistry or Mr Ratan Tata.

                              I must congratulate you for successfully running the DTH service in the country. At the same time there is a big chunk of customers who are suffering because of poor execution of services at the ground level. I subscribed for Annual period to Tatasky services approximately 40 days ago and my experience from the Day 1 has been horrible, I had to lodge complaints almost every alternate day for weak signal, No signal, No HD reception, Selected channel reception etc etc.

                              being a new customer to any DTH services I expected your dealer to guide me about the options offered by Tatasky but I was rather misguided much about it.

                              1. For two of my TVs I was told to take 2 independent connections rather than One as Primary and second as secondary. As I was unaware of the DTH system after shifting from Mumbai I followed the advice only to discover later that I ended up paying more than required for 2 connections.

                              2. No receipt was given against the payment done to the Tatasky dealer and cash money was taken from me with a promise to deliver the invoice later on. Til date their is no revert from anyone despite reminders.

                              3. The connection of my TV was given through the existing Dish of my neighbor in stead of installing it through the Common Dish of my society. This led to inconvenience to both the Subscriber and my cable was thrown by someone as it interrupted their TV performance. This continued for a week and later on the technician changed it to the common dish of our society.

                              3. Right from the Day 2 of connection the signal reception has been very poor and almost every alternate days I have to lodge a complaint. While lodging the complaint every time there is demand for visit charges which results in arguments and subsequent waiver.

                              Today the connection is doing fine but not sure what is going to happen tomorrow. We subscribed to Tata sky thinking about the Brand Tata behind this service but it has resulted in mental agony for me and my family. I requested for the reimbursement of my money and disconnection too but it was flatly refused citing the policy of company.

                              Let me tell you sir, please do not make your customer feel cheated if he has shown faith in your brand or else this discomfort of customer will multiply very fast eroding all the laurels earned by Tata sky.

                                I had raised a request in the customer care that i am ablle to see only few channels even after recharging the full amount of metro pack.
                                People say the same thing again and again but no body has turned up to cater my request.
                                Everytime i call they say sorry at least a 100 times but they are all the same no work has been done from their side.
                                Request are automatically being closed without even calling me once.
                                Dont know what has happened to tata sky. I am thinking of going for some other DTH

                                  My tata sky is out of order from sunday. I have called toll free no thrice, 1st time some azhar picked up the phone and kept me for hold. 2nd time some meera picked up the phone, she said i will send the technician tomorrow it is already 5.30 pm. Complaint no is p8jzpfi.In the morning i got acall saying confirmation call but till 3.30 pm nobody arrived. Again at 3.35 pm i called some altafaq i don"t exactly know the name he also repeated the same language after two hours you will get a confirmation call then technician will come and rectify the problem. I am paying 1075 rs per month

                                    I have recharge my tata sky account no [protected] with rs. 240. My monthly package was rs. 240 but before month within 15 days my tata sky balance was end and show the package rs.550/-. I have not increase any channel so why did increase my package. Its happened earlier too many time. It is fraud i request customer care to resolve my problem and returned my money in my tata account so that we can countinue the tata sky again.

                                      Hi,

                                      Horrid experience with tata-sky today. The tata-sky website showed the monthly charges to be inr 842 per month while calculating the charges for la-carte channels and multi-tv subscription. Confirmation sms i received put it at inr 1082 per month.

                                      Calling up the helpline didn't help at all cause the representative called shalini put the onus of calculating and checking the charges on me. Arguing my point didn't help much as she put me on hold and then disconnected after having had her say.

                                      I have been a tata-sky customer since 2006. The whole episode is a real shame, regrettable and a blot on the fair name of the tata group.

                                        My account [protected]. I have raised request to relocate my Tata sky within city on 29th May & promised completion of request by 30th May. Apparently no one called and whenI followed up on 30th May, Tata sky customer service representative told that no service available after 5 pm & again promised that relocation installation will be done on 31st May. I have followed up 12 times on 31st May and every time I was promised that technician will contact within 1 hour which didn't happened. I told very clearly that I have taken a leave from office only for this purpose upon promises made by previous CSR. All the senior representative including team leader promised me that it will be done today, unfortunately nothing happened. Around 5:30 pm a person called from technical support team and confirmed that technician will contact at 6:30 pm for installation but neither anyone called nor came. When I tried back technician (mobile no [protected]) person was initially disconnected the line, later picked up the phone and said he didn't received such request and will not come today. When I informed him about the situation he said that he will come tomorrow around 12 pm. I informed him that I have taken a leave just for this purpose and tomorrow I will be at office and no one will home. He said I can do whatever but he will not come. When I asked his name, he refused to disclose his entity and disconnected the line. I contacted back to customer service and provide the details, and representative promised again that this will be escalated and relocation will be done by tomorrow before 8 am. I have no words to describe the kind of mental harassment I have gone through the day and unable to define the worst ever customer service witnessed. Unsure even this will go in deaf ears or is there someone at higher management who cares about service being provided to customers. I have been with Tata sky for over 5 years, but now I am forced to think for an exit due to poor customer service.
