I have a tata sky DTH connection. It's ID is [protected]. I have relocated my DTH to Hyderabad 2 days ago.my DTH is not receiving signal since then. I have been continusly complaining about it to tata sky customer care. But they are failing to solve my problem. Yet I am not receiving any signal, they are charging me on daily basis. Please help me to get proper serve. Thanks

    Hi,
    The no signal issue from 15th april.
    Our subscriber id - [protected].
    On 15th april noon onwards after switching on the set top box, 'no signal' is gettiing displayed. No rain or cloudy and its summser at its peak. Switched off and and on back. No change in behavior.
    We have paid for 1 year in advance and is not due untill next september.
    Following this we called the help line number 5 times untill now only to be told that a tecnical person will be sent within 2hours. None showed up or any sms were sent of the details.
    The only thing we have now as of now is the complaint number - 07wxjjk

      Sir,

      My Tata Sky STB was replaced on 6th Feb 2016 in lieu of the existing faulty STB. I had paid around 900 for the new STB. We are in April 2016, and the replaced STB is also not functioning properly. When contacted the help line, they are insisting on buying another STB by paying additional money of Rs. 900. This is a money making scam.
      Moreover their customer response time and help is pathetic. Promises and assurances are made by them help line in terms of technician visits; but has always defaulted on time and days.
      I have paid more than Rs. 5500 for TS STB and also full year subscription charges. They are holding us customers at ransom.

        I have two tata sky dth connections at home in modinagar, consumer number [protected]. On 11th april 16 i have registered a complaint with tata sky for "no signal" problem in one of the connections. The technical person visited my house and just adjusted some cables connected to the set top box and told me that the issue is resolved, but after he returned the same issue continued. I registered another complaint on 13th april 16 and i told them since the problems is repition of the earlier one i ahould not be charged rs 170 as service charge and the persopn spoke to me agreed to the same.Technician came for checking. He told us that the set top box is defective and replaced the same. But after replacing the set top box the problem continued. Then he checked the dish antena and tightened some screws on the same at the terrace. The issue got resolved only after this.

        Surprisingly i was charged the service charge of rs 170.00 and the charge for replacement of set top box rs 400 and the amount was recovered by tata sky from my recharge amount by force without any prior intimation to me.

        Then i spoke to customer care department of tata sky and they told me that they will verify the refund the amount charged by them. Later one of their service in- charge called me told that the old set top box is defective and rs. 400 is charge correctly by the co and i will not be refunded any amount including the service charge.

        I am very upset by the attitude of this company and the negative approach and response from the people of the company as well.

        I do not know whether some on this company will act on this complaint. I am registering this complaint for the benefit of the public.

            Since last 15 days we are facing issue during day time it's work only in night to morning. Couple of time i had logged a complaint but no docket id received yet on registered mobile..Costemer care agreed on free service.. But engineer asking for 200 rupee service change every time..Still issue not resolve..Following with customer care is expensive cause of no toll free number. Spent around 300 rupee for followup.Need refund for last 15 day & restore service asap.

              I am an old customer of tata sky services. I have been using your services since many years. On 13/04/2016, i made a complaint at tata sky recharge office, raja park, jaipur-302004, that my connection is disrupted and office noted complaint and sent a person named mr jahoor ( with telephone no [protected] ) came to my residence to make repairs. He repaired the connection and took me on the roof and changed one joint and a part on the dish saying that the parts were not original. He ask me to pay rs 500/-, which i paid. Later on when i visited tata sky raja park office, i was informed that he was not authorised to take any money. Such people operating with the network of tata sky are spooling the name of tata sky.

                I had raised a request with tata sky on 8th of april reg moving home.
                My request (No. Sr[protected] was not processed to even after shifting to my new home however when i checked track request i found that my service request was closed on the same date.
                I raised another request (No. Sr[protected] on 12th of april requesting tata sky to discontinue the services and refund me my balance subscription fee. However this time too they did not process my request & closed my sr.

                Based on the above i request tata sky to refund my amount or else i will take this to the consumer court.

                  My TATA SKY Id. is [protected], Yesterday i Called to TATA Sky to shift my account to another location since i shifted from my old house. He did not answer properly for my few question and then he was listening my question then he transfer my call to another place without notifying me but after that no one answer my call. Since then no body called me from the TATA SKY..

                  I am not totally satisfied with their service. Still i am waiting for their call to change my location of the service and also i am not happy with his behavior.

                    I paid inr 800 on 5th April as subscription fee for tata sky account [protected] but even till today on 15th April I am regularly getting msg on my tv for urgent payment reminder. Regarding this I called today on 15th April and Himanshu from tata sky was on line and said your problem resolved. But again problem started, again I called them Ashraf attended the call and this time I asked for complain or reference no. He started talking rudely and disconnected the call suddenly. I again called and a lady Chanda was on line to get a complain no. Against the tata sky employee this kind of irresponsible behaviour and poor service then Tata sky employee who was on line to reply my third call on the same day said to me that there is no such record of any call with Mr. Ashraf then I said to give me the complain or reference no. Of this issue as well she denied for this and my call again went on silent mode then disconnected. It seems this third employee of tata sky also was an irresponsible one.
                    I am using tata sky since 2009 but since 2015 I have experienced pathetic and worst service by Tata sky. I think better to go for other available option.

                      Tata Sky recently changed its Ten Sports channels but did not give any alert. To find out one had to phone there 1860...number which is charged at special rates by airtel.
                      when submitting a request through Help Desk on their website after logging in, immediately after submit button is pressed you are logged out. Tracking request also does not work.

                        My customer id is-[protected] and i am tatasky subscriber and i am fed up with tatasky company.my recharge date is on 22/4 16.every time one week before you send reminders to recharge the a/c immediately.we may continue or may terminate our membership with you.that is for us to decide.then why do you start begging us to recharge.last month i have recharged my a/c on the due date and i am still getting your message that please recharge on 23/3 /16.your begging has gone to the extreme.i thought tatasky was owned by the great tatas.but now i know it is owned by a worst beggar in this country .i do not like reminders from you hereafter.if i see such messages in my tv again, i shall go to consumer court and also post the photographs i taken in the social media such as facebook and twitter.

                            The TV stopped working and complaint was lodged. Technician come after a long time and did something and TV services started but only for little time (less than 1 hour). Complaint lodged again immediately, spoke to the call centre several times another technician came after a long time (several days) and fault corrected. Tatasky insisted on charging for the technician again which was resisted by me eventually they agreed. After a few days the services stopped as according to them my subscription was overdue. On inquiring from the call centre they informed that these charges are for the remote they gave me. Since then they have stopped that services. I would like to state that no remote was given to us and we still are using the old one and that Tatasky is not telling the truth. I sincerely expect that you would help me.

                                On 9 apr 2016 i had subscribe jingalala sat. offer in which tatasky offer ten 1 ch. in 1Rs for 1 month, i got msg from tatasky of successfully recharge for TEN 1 till 8 may 2016 but, TEN 1 is not activated yet, i had called tatasky customer care several (5-7 time).in which i have waste my phone balance...they put my phone hold for 5-10 min. continuously saying its technical problem n bla bla...we will shortly sort the problem...but sitll im unbale to view TEN 1.i think they are making me fool ...plz help me out tatasky sucks...

                                    I am a Tata Sky customer. Subscribed to their Mega pack. I have lodged a complained to them on 7th April, that I am not getting signals for watching TV. Till date 14th April i.e. after one week of continously being in touch with them they have not rectified my problem. I am paying for every single day and its one week and they have not attended to my problem. Their call centre people are not at all bothered. They keep telling me in 2 hrs some one will contact you. But till date not one has come to attend to it. I am disgusted with their services. We are sick of speaking to their call centre. We need a consumer complaint number where we can speak to some high ups. Please ensure that the company provides us with a telephone number of their senior executives who can look into the matter and resolve our problem. After my due date I am seriously wanting to discontinue their services. Please help me.

                                      We had requested for a relocation from Bangalore to Mysore. The guy came and uninstalled and later when we moved to mysore, one guy named Arun whose manager is Manjunath came to install the connection.

                                      Post installation, there was lot of signal problem for which i raised another request for resolving the issue. There was another engineer named Prakash who came to rectify, which he did and left.

                                      After this, we figured out that we had been charged a total amount of Rs 1200 instead of Rs 500 and when we raised a complaint on this, we were shocked by the false claims/void requests they had taken to unresonably charge us more amount.

                                      They had falsely claimed that a new set box and dish were provided which was utterly false. When we requested for somebody to visit the house and see if it was old or new, nobody turned up.

                                      They had falsely claimed that we had taken multiple connections which was again totally untrue. Again, When we requested for somebody to visit the house and see if it was old or new, nobody turned up.

                                      They had falsely claimed that we had taken multilple relocations which was again totally false. where in, the second technical guy had only come to rectify the problem and not relocate the dish.

                                      Following these event, we raised a complaint through customer care. and all we got back in return was a request number which was never attended to.

                                      Everytime we call the customer care, it goes to a different person who gives a false promise of it being in process and a false dead line which are never met.

                                      The local team Manjunath and his boys who had come to set up the connection refused to answer calls and threatned us rudely asking us to not call them again.

                                      We wonder if tata sky is a professional direct broadcast satellite television provider or GOONDA company who cheats and threatens people and extort money unreasonably.

                                        I have requested to relocate my Tata sky since 30 march technician couldn't relocated my Tata sky.
                                        Technician directly told me dish couldn't dismantle buy a new dish which is for 850rs and with bargaining service then told for 800rs and customer service is telling for 650rs.
                                        Third class customer satisfaction service for old customer.
                                        Only advertisement service for customer third class service for customer.

                                        Set top box was installed 3 days back but since then it has stopped working. 15 times called up customer care. every time i am told that it will be resolved in 2 hours and will have a technician visiting my place, but those 2 hours have still not come. utterly disgusting service. pathetic
