Dear Sir


This to bring to your notice about Harresment i have faced due to poor Services of Tata Sky On 7th i called & register a relocation of my Tata sky Set up box & clearly told them My relocation Address & Old also, At that time i have been told that they will Uninstall the System & Give to me & it will be my responsiblity to bring it back to new Address & they will install it next day, which i agree & i did the same.


After this waited for 1 Day & Yesterday i called your Faridabad Service Center Mr. Amit for Installation & he Clearly told that you need to logged the Service request again & they are not responsible for any thing it is the TATA SKY who owns the responsiblity, i Confronted because i have registered it but since in the end i made a mistake to purchase Tata Sky i agree to log a call on the assurance that it will be done today.


Aftert logging the call & assurance from your call center i immediately received a call from service center (Faridabad), I was surprised to hear first he told me that it will not be done today in any case & second he said our call center doent know anything they only make false commitment to the customer, it will be done according to what he told me .


I again called your call center they again assured that it will be done in 2 Hrs, I waited for 2 hrs and called again this time talked to you supervisor he also told it will be done today, this time i recorded what he said ( Recording is attached ), he Also confirmed after asking that if not done today my Payment of Setup box & other things will be refunded.


Just to aagin comfirmed it is not being done uo to today, i called your call center again i thing 5th time in last 2 days & spoke to Mr Chiranjivi & he added another part that, he asked you tell us what you want to do if you want we can close your connection, but you will not be refunded a single penny & only way you have is to do the reinstallation, which is telling your customer now since you made a mistake of purchasing Tata Sky you will be Penalised


Kindly revert other wise i will have no other option than going to the Consumer court, Irrespective of Installation will be done today or not, since i dont think we can sell a box for Lifetime & than Blackmailing him for the Life time .


Apart from the Above Iam really unhappy with the Approach of your call center not even onced they confirmed what is said by the service center is wrong & Which in anyways confirm that they are useless.

    Despite having a fully-paid for account for 2 TV sets, I am unable to view some channels for past 1 week - these having gone off the air. Issued complaint No. SR[protected]. Then issued a WORK ORDER No. O2VIMEX dated 9th April for a Technician visit. Technician came and attended to problem but refused to get Customer signature that job had been attended to. Left my residence stating that problem was unresolved and would be solved provided I called him to make certain investments in additional parts, wires etc. now required due ti some back-end technical changes made by Tata Sky, without which I will not be able to see all the channels I have paid for. Barely 10 minutes after his departure, the said channels (which had made visible) - disappeared again and have NOT resumed since April 9. I however, received sms from TATA SKY that my WO O2VIMEX was closed and my problem resolved. I have informed TATA SKY but no one has responded. I am still unable to view channels I have paid for annual charges in good faith.

      I have the same concern of not being able to remove package which I do not want via online or mobile. You can though 'add' packages with just a press of a button! Why this double standard. The company hasn't thought at all about the consumers. This is very bad customer Experience. I have called customer service more than 5 times and not being able to connect, I am guessing that those who choose to drop packages on mobile are sent on call line for eternal waiting. This was not expected from a company like Tata who believed in policy of principles. Utterly disappointing.

        Dear mr.Vikram kaushik,

        This mail is a consumer harassment complaint. My customer id is [protected]. I am a subscriber o[censored]ltra pack with monthly rental inr 530.00. I got the connection on 17th march 2016.

        After switching the plan from dhamaal mix to ultra, i found that many channels are not working. I called the customer care on 8th april 2016 and raised the issue. I was assured that the technician will visit by 11:00 am on saturday the 9th april 2016. I waited till 2 pm but i neither received any call nor the technician visited. I called the customer care again and i was assured that either the technician will visit by 7 pm the same day or on 10th april 2016 i.E. Today by 10 am. Again the time crossed but the technician did not visit, neither did i receive any call.

        I again called the customer care and i was told that the technician will visit in between 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, however, this scheduled time also crossed and there wasn't any visit. Since 2 pm today, i have made numerous calls to the customer care and every time i was given a 1-hour deadline. I had even made this clear that if it is not resolved with an hour of my last call, i want this connection to be cancelled and refund of my whole amount of inr 1929, which includes the initial payment of inr 1399 and current month recharge of inr 530.

        However, even after all this, the issue was not resolved.

        For your information, the signal issue has not arisen in these two-three days, but since the three days after installation. Initially, i did not take it seriously assuming it to be some technical or subscription issue. I thought it will resolve on its own. However, it did not happen, and i took the matter seriously only after i switched my pack to ultra and i found the no signal issue persistent on the subscribed channels.

        Please note mr. Vikram kaushik, the customer does have just this work to wait for your technician. I have wasted enough time waiting for your technician's visit and i am shocked and distressed to see the way you treat your customers.

        Now i do not see any other way than to cancel the connection. Therefore, mr. Vikram kaushik, please cancel my connection and refund my whole amount i.E. Inr 1929. If it does not happen, then i will drag you to the consumer court.

I have received confirmation message from icici bank as well as paytm that ur a/c has been charged with rs 315 but till now my a/c not yet credited with said amount . Therefore resolve my complaint as early as possible

            Tata sky showcase movie deptt is losing its charm. You book a movie at tata sky showcase & immediately they will deduct money and then the movie will not appear on the screen. You call to customer service & after holding for a long time, somebody will take your call after passing through all the recorded messages. They will either say that there might be problem in your tv set and executive will come to resolve the same on chargeable basis or they will forward the problem to the concerned deptt & the same would be resolved within 48 hours & bla.. Bla.. Bla. For reversal of money, they claim that it will take 2-3 working days. Just imagine that you are relaxing with a good mood on a sunday with your family to watch a nice movie on so called reputed tata sky d2h but you land up into series of problems after ordering movie on showcase just wasting your time. Earlier tata sky used to be very good while ordering showcase movies i. E. Immediately after ordering, there is sms on your mobile and the movie is on in your tv at particular channels. But now it is losing its sheen. Hope they see this message and take corrective action to resolve their own problem at the earliest. Apart from the showcase problem, tata sky is very good as d2h system

              Hi all,

              I am Facing some issues regarding set top box. From last 15 days continuesly I am trying to reach customer care but IVR says number is invalid. I had registered my complaint through mail and got complaint number and then I visited near by dealer show and he said this complaint number is not correct.
              what the hell they are doing with their customer

                This is the worst customer service i have been dealing with. They asked me to recharge for a minimum of rs 150/- so they could activate my account. But its been 5 days since i recharged, it is still in pending & not activated.

                I call the customer care twice everyday and all i get to hear is my wait time is 10 minutes & even after 30 minutes it stays at 10 minutes, which is totally bull!!!

                As & when i get to speak, all they say is they have registered my complaint & it will get done in 24 hrs, which again remains the same after 5 days...

                  I have tata sky connection and my register mobile number is [protected].
                  Two days back I decided to purchase second and third connections(child connections) on my existing connection. So i called customer care and after they come for installation and installed 2 connections of Rs. 9140 recording box and Rs. 2040 set top box
                  Which cost total of Rs.11000.when I demand keriko system with mic as per their scheme, they told me that it cost additionally Rs. 700. Here there were wrong in this matter. We were not aware about that additional charge which is told by their executive after installation done. When I told that I don't want it without that system, than they told your recharge of Rs. 11180 is done by us. So now you have to pay for it. But without my approval how can they recharge for Rs.11000? And when I told them that I am not at all ready to pay Rs. 11000 if you are not giving me that system. Then they uninstalled my connection.
                  Really I am really shocked such a bad behaviour from such a reputed company.

                  Please do needful as early as possible in the matter without charging me extra charge.

                  Tata sky cheated me by demanding Rs.700 extra for keriko system.
                  This system include in rs.11180, so no extra charge for that, which is clearly shown on their website and advertisement.

                    I have one primary and two secondary tatasky connections.

                    I have been following up daily for the last 9 days for deactivation of one of the secondary connection. Every day they say that they lave lodged a request in the system and the back end team will deactivate. But nothing is happening.

                    Is there some way that action can be taken immediately. Daily charges for the additional connection are being recovered which is a fraud on me.

                      This guy took rs. 3000 from to pay for 6 months prepaid charges from march thru august 2016, in addition to additional package for hindi movies, & english movies .
                      Unfortunately he paid in banjara hills, hyderabad tatasky office, rs. 1000 only @ 395 / month charges till may, 27, 2016,
                      He made fraud for rs. 2000,
                      Could you please find out this guy & take action against him & either return the money or pay the continuation charges with additional, package for hindi movies, songs, english movies,

                        Today i have received call from tata sky in my landline number and they asked about my tata sky package after some time a message received in my mobile that your fun learning service activate in your package for 30 days. when i try to drop this package then a msg appear that you can not drop this package for 30 days because it has been locked. it is requested that kindly de-active this un-necessary activation please.

                          I have sent the below email to the nodal officer:
                          Dear sir/madam,

                          This email is regarding the complaint i have registered for tatasky services wherein the representatives call us and despite our refusal activate unwanted packs on our account. They not only activate the unwanted pack but we also lose our money every time ending up paying for services we have not asked for, may i ask why??

                          It is a good idea to have the representatives to call customers for promotions, but i am unable to understand how this behaviour of activating packs to charge customers for services they do not need is justified. On registering the complaint i did receive a call, but as usual the person on the other end blames us instead of helping.

                          And the wonderful part of the whole conversation is that the person first cross checked with me if i have a recording of the conversation which indicates how smart a move it is to prove your customers are wrong. With due respect sir, i am done with all of tata services for my lifetime and i pledge that i will never own or subscribe to any tata products. Will make sure i share my bad experience with one and all so that indians are aware of how the service industries get their revenue by taxing customers for something they do not want and then pushing the blame on them. I am certain that there would be many out there who would agree that it is wrong way to get the revenue. We all may have targets to fulfill but using such means is the lowest form of service.

                          I had asked for a refund of the amount deducted, which is a very small amount, on ethical grounds. Unfortunately people do not seem interested in the customers or their retention. I am unable to understand how someone can take a judgement of losing revenue for rs.500 or more every month per customer for such a measly amount.

                          If you are able to address this and put a stop to such unethical behaviour from the representatives calling customers, it will be of great help to the customer as well as tatasky. People look at brand value so it is important to live upto it.

                            First of all i have to call multiple times to connect to tata sky service center. Secondly after registering my complaint they send a technician who doesnt know how things work and talks rudly and takes his bag and goes off without fixing the problem and when i tried talking to the occ of the service persons he threats me that he will not do it i should go and do whatever i want to. I am a tata employee myself and didnt expect such a service and threating from a person who doesnt have sense to talking itself. My number is [protected] and my tata sky is linked to the same number. And i am still without the tata sky fixed for me and the call center is always putting me on hold whenever i call them

                                We are costumer of Tata sky for almost last 5 years. There is intermittent loss of signals almost 100 times a day, lasting from few seconds to 20 minutes for last one month.
                                We have registered complaint to tata sky for this for 4 times, they have sent engineer twice, but when engineer comes if it's working good for last 5 minutes, he says everything is ok and issues is still unsolved. We pay 380 per month for this poor quality service... Requesting a refund of one month or urgent repair if they are competent enough. ID [protected]

                                  My subscription account is [protected] and my pack includes the following:

                                  1. Lok Sabha TV
                                  2. Rajya Sabha TV
                                  3. Bloomberg TV

                                  In addition Tatasky has started some new channels - NatGeo People, Travel XP etc which are showing as part of my pack WITHOUT additional charges.

                                  The First three channels were coming till suddenly one day recently they have stopped coming.

                                  The new channels have never come since starting.

                                  Whatever was suggested by the Call Center or the Chat Agent did not work. Neither are they able to escalate the problem to technical seniors.

                                  Now they want me to pay for service engineer to visit when none of the above is my fault.

                                    I have been contacting tata sky and they have put me on hold every time for 15-20 minutes every time without solving my query. now they are forcing upon to settle for an amount and surrender the account.exec have been calling 5 times daily and just irritating and mis informing . is there some one to listen properly and understand my concern. i could not even watch the finals of WT20 due to deactivation on their own. such apathetic service was not expected from TATA SONS, hope Mr. Mistry reads customer complaints

                                      Hi,

                                      I paid the amount via online to tata sky and it has been told to me, it will be installed within 2 hrs.
                                      Nothing happened, after 2hrs i called again .Again same thing has been told the person will come in another 2hrs.

                                      Finally after 5hrs, call came to me saying that today will not be possible .Tomorrow will gonna come for your installation.

                                      Today too, Same thing has happened .I called them five times but everytym they told techinician will come today before for sure by 5PM.

                                      Already its 6 PM now, nonone came and they have taken the money too and no call from their end yet.

                                      Tata Sky Worst Service i have ever seen and not even picking calls now and took the money too.

                                        Dear Team,

                                        This is with reference to my complaint number NY0DK39.

                                        Yesterday i.e on 04/04/2016, my TATA SKY got off in the evening, it started showing "NO SIGNAL" error and I saw that your engineer who was come to resolve issue of Mr. Pai of our building. I requested him to resolve the issue, since this is second time happening the same thing, that whenever your enginner comes to resolve the issue of Mr. Pai, my tata sky gets off.

                                        Your enginner didnt accepted to resolve the issue and was not ready to accept that he has touch, but I can prove this with evidence that this is the fact.

                                        Yesterday I was not able to view the important event of T20 WORLD CUP FINAL.

                                        Whenever I m talking to your person, they always says that "Apologize" "sorry for inconvinience". Myself paying for complete year and getting this kind of service which is not accepted from my side.

                                        Now today morning your escalation team has called me and telling me that engineer visit is chargeable. Now why should I pay the same, because it is not my problem.

                                        I would have done the payment, if problem would have been from my end, kindly note the same, as clarified earlier.

                                        Kindly resolve the issue at the earliest and I will make sure that I m not going to pay and do not deduct the amount from my recharge.

                                        Inspite of talking several times, no resolution is coming. Always getting time frame of 24 hours...very bad service from Tata Sky this time.
