I received a call in November from Tata Sky. They suggested I change Tata Sky regular set top box to Tata Sky HD for Rs 1500/-. In this amount I would get HD set top box and 1 year HD subscription. HD channels have stopped streaming now. I called the customer care and they asked me to recharge for 510/- for 1 year subscription. I recharged for 510/- and now they are saying it is valid only for next 5 months.

I spoke with Mr Suraj on Feb 14 & Mr Raghav on Feb 16th

Disappointed to see such fraudulent service from Tata group

    Yesterday I have bought a connection at Tata sky and the same was installed yesterday evening 7 pm but till time the dish is not activated. We are locating in valasaravakkam, Chennai and nearby Tata sky dealer swastik agencies, nerkundram, Chennai has done this installation. I have paid 1850 for the set top box and recharging. Your staffs vinoth - [protected] is not attending calls since yesterday evening. Considering your bad service I do not want to continue with Tata sky hence pls take back the equipment and repay the amount. If you are not okay with this I will be launching a suit against you on the consumer court. Do payback my money

      My TATA Sky D.T.H. ID is- [protected], on which I have a second S.T.B. Whereas the main S.T.B. is receiving all subscribed channels normally, the additional box is not receiving any channels whatsoever. Please help to resolve this problem and oblige

        IT STARTS WITH CHARGING ME almost 250 rs extra for almost 3 years, they added some package on my id without asking and after complaining also several times they dint de activated, then i myself had to write many mails to them, at last its sorted out.


        right now i have subscribed for hd channels but some english movies channels are not coming when i did the complaint for the same, first they asked me to replug all the connections, then they asked me for some master setting ls proceedure which i followed but after that also few english hd channels are not coming, including 2 normal channels also.

        now they asked me if i want any technical support at home but for that i have to rs 170 as a service charge, i mean what the hell is this, first we pay for hd channels, then when they are not coming we r suppose to pay visit charges also, even then when the problem is from tata sky end.

        after 15 minutes arguement i asked the lady to raise a complaint regarding my issue, she was like they dont have authority to raise a complaint, lol when a tata sky executive cant take the complaint who else would?she just disconnected my phone without asking me


        i am just not happy with the services and i want every consumer of tata sky to look after there package you might have been paying unnecessary charges.


        if anyone can help me on this to get my extra amount back which i hav paid to them for years, i would be really happy.


        PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SERVICES OF TATA SKY, THEY HAVE THIRD CLASS AFTER SALE SERVICES, THERE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, THEY DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO TALK.

          It was tarific experience of package renewal. As without calling and giving charge biffercation message has been send, and even after that without informing terms and condition charges has been increased on daily basis.

          I hope that company do needful for that customer and if it fail that negative word of mouth can be occur for tata sky services.

            I have changed my set top box from normal sd box to 4k box 5 days back by paying up gradation charges rs 5900. I was not told that there are no 4k channels presently active on tatasky and I can get same services with normal HD box at payment of rs1500.
            Now I want to know why was I charged extra for services which are not even available.
            When I asked for change of box to HD plus box the customer service asked for charge of rs 7900. I should be able to upgrade at a charge of 2000 after giving exchange of my HD 4k box which costs 5900 and was fraudulently sold to me by giving false information. Multiple calls to call center have told me to launch complaint using email.
            Please look into the matter and give your 10 year old customer his due service which your company has always done till now.

              I have done Rs 500 recharge for my Tata sky account through online Tata sky recharge on 15 feb'2016 and the amount already debited from my state bank account but failed to process successfully, it says "Error" reason: Sorry! we are unable to process your transaction.                     Tatasky has done some upgrade due to which small satellite is not supported now .Now they are asking me to change the antenna.Why should I pay when I didn't ask for any satellite upgrade it was tatasky who decided to upgrade it so that they can have more number of channels and be in the market .

                    They have charged me Rs 170 without fixing the issue.

                    SR[protected] tatasky even closed the ticket eventhough I replied that I'm not satisfied and issue is still open.

                    Tatasky executive that came just said I can't do anything on this and other team looks into it .From his side he would now charge for visiting. Seriously are you asking customers to pay for seeing the face of an executive ...


                    I need tatasky either to change the satellite so that my small antenna which they only provided works fine else they should change it to big antenna free of cost .

                    Also they should refund Rs 170 they charged and also would ask them to check how did the ticket close without even asking me.

                    Got multiple calls from Tatasky .Each one has a different story .Technician says tatasky will fix the issue without any charge and call center guy says you will have to pay the amount.

                    Tatasky should note it is not an issue from my side it is an issue from tatasky end .

                    Closed service request again without checking with me...SR[protected], SR[protected] and SR[protected] closed without checking with customer???

                          I am a tatasky subscriber ( id [protected] ) for quite sometime . I am not getting signals since morning and the tollfree nos given is very cumbersome to get tatasky executive on line .

                          I have made quite no of attempts, yet to get them to have phone support .

                          I am switching my tv after a week and found not working . Tatasky is known for deducting rental even when tv is not working .

                            Sir,
                            I have been a Tata Sky consumer from
                            Past 10 years, but from Past 6ths I find that there is deficiency in Service.
                            I am unable to view important CHANNELS ie BBC, CNN, AL JAZEERA,
                            INDIA TODAY, SUN TV Channels.
                            I hv made repeated complaints but of no avail.
                            I have been paying Rs 100/ for every, 4 days ie Approximately Rs 700/ per month.
                            I think TATA SKY is not interested in servicing its customers, so I request them to either refund the excess money so collected from Past 6 months or service my HD Box without further delay.
                            please do not force me to take legal course.

                              I made complaint but customer care unable to resolved rather they worsen my service with their troubleshooting service . Now they told me to call tata sky technician and he will charge for his service. But why should we pay for tata sky satellite issue. I google this problem and found there are other customer who also faced same issue.

                              Tata sky should assist end user with satisfaction. We pay monthly 350 rs for tata sky and we can not view channels. Like we want to waste our money ?

                              Waiting for good resolution as I am tata sky customer since 8 years.

                              I am not able to view the following channels, please look into it provide an solution ASAP:
                              813 - Udaya Movies
                              814 - colors kannada
                              815 - TV9 kannada
                              816 - udaya music

                                Hi,

                                My Tata Sky services were suspended and it is not working from past 10 days.
                                I have raised so many complaints with Tata sky customer care and online helpdesk, I was been told the problem is there and their back-end team is working on it and it will be rectified in one hour of time. Till now problem is not solved and no one cared to respond back with an update. It is very disappointing service from Tata Sky and I have no hope of problem rectification. Since I have subscribed for semi-annual packs and there is no service please refund my money back and terminate the connection. I really feel very sorry for being a customer for 6 years and getting treated in this manner.

                                After so many calls and complaints to Tata Sky finally they have resolved the problem, but it is very pathetic service and so disappointing from them. No proper compensation was provided for the duration I did not get the services. I will go for termination soon.

                                  I am unable to view around 40% channel since long time and tried to contact tata sky associate over phone but for solving the problem they are asking 175 inr against service charge. It is tata sky duty to provide uninterupted services to customer. Today I raised complain SR[protected] but without making any solution it has been closed.
                                  Please help in this regard.

                                        I have taken a new connection on 19th January 2016 with 2 additional set top boxes. Our registered number is [protected], on the name of Jignesh Shah in bhandup. After speaking to customer care we paid amount of rs. 5445 and the set top boxes were installed. We were told that we have a subscription of 1 month free.
                                        In 10 day our tata sky was discontinued without informing. We must have called the helpline number at least 10 times talking to different people. We had a telephonic conversation with Ar. Ayub on 11th february and he said the technical department had used extra cable on day of installation.
                                        In spite of repeated calls our connection isn’t still restored. The problem is not rs.500 which you are charging and we are willing to pay, but someone should bother to inform us before you disconnect. It is highly unprofessional and disgusting the way such a big company works and disconnects for rs.500. It would be preferable to have a written explanation of such unethical behaviour. Today an unprincipled senior employee who refused to share is name, threatened us to disconnect all our wires instead of cooperating with our problems and giving us a proper solution. Are we understood as beggars here?
                                        We have paid the amount you requested and are willing to recharge as well but are highly disappointed with your services and the way your customer care respond.
                                        Could someone please give me an explanation to this or it would trigger me to take this matter to higher authorities questioning about your unique policies on right to information.
