After the recharge of INR 424, there seems to be a problem with the Set Top box as it is logging it off as soon as I select to see the HD channels. However, there is no problem in viewing the normal channels. When called the Call Centre, I was told that there would be a charge of INR 170. I am told that there is a problem with the set top box and might have to be replaced. Please check the record as the box was purchased in Oct/Nov.
I am totally clueless on the below points:

1. Why do I have to pay the charges if the technician comes to check the device (though normal programmes are running fine).
2. A company like TATA is selling the low quality Set Top Box- The box was purchased on Oct/Nov 15 with no receipts and warranty. I am told that he warranty expires within a month from the DOP. Moreover, there is no information if i am getting a brand new box. The old ones are replaced by the company and might be possible that it is sold (as a new box) to the new consumer after getting it repaired.
3.There is no transparency between the 3rd party technicians as it would be their motive to sell the product rather than reparing it. They are there to get revenues and doesn't cares if the customers are satisfied or not.

I am thinking of switching to other company as I dont think a company like TATA can do such things to the customer.

INR 170 is a nominal amount but it is strange to hear that a technician will charge from the consumer in case there is a technical fault from the company.

    I was charged RS/2285/-for Installation, When on the website it was stated
    asRs/1779, with one months free viewing.
    Before submitting the package I was asked to pay RS490/- to avoid disconnection.
    After paying the amt.I get a message, that I had to recharge byFeb 14 i.e hardly 15 days, also Rs485/ is the amt .for making the pack.i am not able to understand this nonsense.Pl send ur representative, to clarify these points, or else refund my money.

      There are issues related to broadcasting and we have also spoken to the customer care executive but they didn't take **** action against it. Very much disappointed with the product and the service. Next time I'll not come for the tatasky and let my friends and neighbours to go for this.

          The remote handset given has been malfunctioning. I was asked to lodge a complaint by speaking to help line number which I did. I was told that a replacement would cost me Rs.375 bucks which I agreed to pay. Work Order No MGRA5MU was assigned on 24th Jan 16 at 8.23 PM and I was advised that some one would contact me in 2 hours. This never happened.

          On 25th I got a call and again I went through the rigmarole of repeating the entire issue and I was advised that some one would visit on 26th Jan 16 between 19.10 hours and 19.50 hours to deliver the gadget.

          On 26th I got a message at 4.21 PM stating that the visit is unilaterally rescheduled on 27th Jan 16 between 19.21 hours and 20.01 hours

          On the same day at 10.02 PM I got a message stating that the work order had been unilaterally cancelled

          This being the quality of service I am astonished how a company that uses TATA Brand in its name, can afford to be so indifferent to customers, how they do not maintain any channel of escalation of complaints in the company web site and also how they get away with unilaterally hiking subscription month after month

            Whenever I recharge my tatasky account I not get the validity period they show on their packs .It is to costly to call them .If they recive call they reply the reson which is not given in their prospectus .I am very much upset with its service.

                I am a Tatasky customer for 10 years. I have a multi TV connection. I want to disconnect the secondary TV connection and retain only the primary TV connection. For this purpose, I have called Tatasky customer care atleast 10 times in the last 15 days. Every time the representative will tell me that their representative will call me in 24 hours. Till today, even after my 10 calls, nobody has called me.
                1. When I have made a request to cancel, why somebody has to call me in 234 hours.
                2. How long have to wait to receive Tatsky call. Tats were known for good customer service. I am experiencing the WORSTY service from Tatasky.

                  The recharge was done on 19th January 2016 however through PAYTM and the recharge was successful. The tata sky customer care denied that any recharge was done. I spoke to PAYTM and they gave me the below response.

                  We got this reviewed with tata sky and they have confirmed that mobile number [protected] has been successfully recharged with INR. 415/-. Please find the details mentioned below:

                  The operator reference number is [protected]C2E2D.

                  However even after this tata sky has taken no action. I feel they are looting people.

                  Please resolve this.

                    I have been trying to get in touch with some one who can help me at tata sky help line [protected] from 1300hrs to 1900hrs on the 26jan 2016 during this period I have made at least 7 calls and all the operators have the same "solution" which is turn your set top box on and off ...reset the set top box ..remove the tata sky card and re insert .. And the most annoying is "what's the error message on your screen " and when I ask for the manager they all of a sudden get defensive and just will not let me speak with maybe someone that can / may help me ...well why I have been calling them is because all my channels are showing perfectly well EXCEPT the Sony six HD channel ...it is in my sports pack that I have subscribed for there is no error message on the screen its like anyother functioning channel except there is no image /broadcast on it ...now to the tata sky call center [protected] except for a lady everyone else was rude ( in the actions ) like keeping me on hold indefinitely ( 10 minutes ) once they know they cannot help me ...logically if someone is incompetent they should seek help from their seniors ...now what am ibsupposed to do just wait and pray for the channel to start working again ..BTW thisbhappened when the merger with ESPN and Sony happened before that everything was good ..

                    Me again ...I understand why they ask the same questions coz they have a protocol to follow, and by the process of elimination to MAYBE get to the the problem and find a solution ..but in one call if your asked 5 times " what error message is showing on the screen " and having told them the same thing on all 5 occasions ...I also understand these people may not be technical or know anything about how broadcasting etc works ...BUT then that's when you seek help from your seniors or a manager they seem afraid to seek help ..and then either disconnect or keep me on hold for the 10 minutes after which the call gets cut automatically... Anyway if some one can help mebwith this SONY SIX HD channel will be grateful... Very frustrating dealing with tata sky helpine ...BTW this is not the first horrendous experience ...

                      we regularly pay 250INR per month regularly, but they charges for 25 day not for 30days they takes us 50rs extra every month.
                      please resolve our problem, every month we have to pay 50 more,
                      please consider 30 days charges instead of 25 day

                        TATA Sky arbitrarily changes its price without informing. Though I have paid for 4 months of service, it reduces to 3 because of such frequent changes. Price changes are too frequent. I started around 500 INR per month for 2 TV sets 1 year ago and now it is about 709 INR per month. Such a steep increase in such a short time doesn't happen with any service.

                          Last one week my tatasky service is off with SMS stating call customer cell I have logged complaint n not received technical assistance yet. Your customer cell is purely a waste of time n money. Your service fellow don't abide by time. I have received a SMS now from customer cell that your WO#MG6SE09 dated 23/01/2016 21:50 has been cancelled. For queries pls contact our Helpline on [protected] which r always congested. I think I have made a mistake by selecting Tatasky

                              Tata sky was requested to provide two HD connections of grand sports with transfer/recording for one year. I have paid Rs.25980+140 as per your demand .It was commited by Mr. Naveen customer care representative to provide the package for two connections at above rates with annual subscription and HD subscription free for one year.

                              But it is regretted that the HD package for one year is not being given to me against above ID.

                              Pl.look into the matter and provide me the package grand sports with HD connection annually.

                                    I am not receiving signal at my set top box id [protected] and i am very much disappointed to see that even a brand like TATA is careless about its customer i have call ed the customer care but they replied they can't help me as they are having some system up gradation.
                                    I am very much offended and even decided to drop the line.

                                      I have been facing problem to see the Ch no-472, 473, 477, 503, 509, 519, 520, 523, 525, 530, 531, 836, 837, 843, 844, 845, 846, 848, 849, 986, 991, 995, 997, 998, and many more since last one week. The signal failure lasts from 6.00 PM to 6.30 am EVERYDAY. Other time The signal is available and those channel can be enjoyed. Please do needful.
