I had ordered TataSky last week (14 Dec 2015) and they had called me after 2 days. For some- reason I could not not answer the call (as I am a School Teacher). The next day (Thursday) I called them on their Customer Support helpline[protected]. After holding the line for about 25 minutes, I got to talk to a customer service executive. The executive blatantly told me that since I was not able to answer the call, my order has been cancelled. He did not talk anything about refunding the amount I have paid online. I then requested him to activate the order again. He then said that the order is active and tata sky will be installed on Saturday at 2 pm. And as expected they did not care about installing it.
Today (Sunday), I have been trying continuously to contact them but the I am put on hold for indefinite time after which I cut the call.
Just to check if they are working today, I made a new request for a connection, through their website by filling the online form (without any payment) and after about 10 minutes I got a call from their executive.
I then told him that I had ordered a connection online and I am trying to contact them to ask about the installation and not receiving any response. Then the executive asked for my phone number that I had entered while ordering online. After checking the details, he asked me, "Sir, is your name Shinde?" I said yes. And then he immediately cut the call.
All these things have given me a lot of stress. The order amount was Rs. 1850. I want a full refund of this amount or installation of the service as soon as possible.
