I have bought a Tata Sky Connection during the Diwali eve while I was about to purchase a TV at Viveks in Anna Nagar Chennai. At that time Mr.Diwakar who is an Executive of Tata Sky approaced and explained about the Services. He told us that the Usage Charges for us would be Rs.200-00 per month and we will get HD Channels as a Bonus without any additional charges. Now after a Month I got a sms that my Usage charges are Rs.375-00 per month since we are Viewing HD channels for that The additional charge of Rs.175 will be charged. When I spoke to Mr.Diwakar over phone and asked him about this additional charged and he is changing his word and saying that it was free for a month to view HD channel now we have to pay the additional charge. This Executive has no commitment and responsiblity as a Marketing person and to make false commitments with the customer. Already he made some false commitment of some English channels will be given as a free of cost. And again we got the same problem of additional charges levied and we went and fought with him and get cancelled. We believe that the Tata Sky and also believed that the particular TV showroom i.e Viveks as a reputed store but the management is also not good and they have no control over their staff and also with their suppliers.     I am aconsumer of Tata Sky with the above given ID. Tata sky services are not functioning properly for last four days. I submitted a complaint telephonically but the complaint was not attended to.I requested for a customer care man to visit since some channels and some HD channels were not coming and services of some channels were irregular.A person named name Deepak informed he would visit on 16.12.2015 but when we waited throughout the day he did not come.After repeated reminders a person namely Lalchand came to attend the complaint at 6.00 in the evening when it was dark.He could not rectify the fault but to add further problems he discontinued other services as well and stated that the problem would be looked into next day.After lot of request and pursuance and request made to his senior Mr.Deepak who also spoke in a very foul mode stating that nothing can be done .Somehow Mr. Lalchand could restore the servies(which were otherwise available) and wanted to leave.He stated that the TATAsky cable and a service box has run out of order and needs change.I would request TATAsky to do needful.

      Thing is that my tata sky channels vide I'd no [protected] as discussed yesterday nobody has attended my complaint so it is again intimated that send your technician to attend my complaint positively. For more than one month I am facing the disturbance while viewing the television program. The signal suddenly drops at a frequency of 5-10 min. of interval and the screen goes blank and no sound. This is absolutely irritating. Initially there was announcement that they are upgrading the service and soon it will be ok., so we kept patience, but after a week made complaint for the same. If you have to make complaint you have to wait for at least 30 min. as the lines are busy. And if at all you get in touch with the company and register it you just receive message that soon you will be visited by engineer but till today no one has turned to my place. But without fail the subscription message comes to you and we pay like fools because we have no options as we have disconnected the cable TV. This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. We never expected this type of service from the company which has TATA name incorporated. I think someone should take initiative and sue them in consumer court, and make them answerable else I think this will not end. Are you upgrading the service or downgrading.           Subscriber ID-[protected] I have Two set top box . Main set top box not getting signal. another getting signal. I tested main set top box to another connection, set top box is working. For same I already paid rs 170.00 before three months but I think your technical person not fix the issue correctly. and again & again I am facing this issue...for compl. I will have to pay at last Rs 7.00, because No. is not Toll free. Is it good for subscriber to pay rs. 6 To 7 for launch compl. only. And also I will have to pay again & again for same Issue. Please tell me...what to do?

            I am Sandeep jigdung, Subscriber Id [protected]. Not able to get tatasky signal since yesterday. I have called customer care delhi twice but my calls were transferred to someone saying it's not their department. After which my calls were not answered. I had to be online for more than 5 mins on each call. Nobody ever called back to check . I have had a very bad experience just recently where one of your staffs cheated me, that problem is solved though. And again today with no one answering my calls, I am really disappointed. Almost all customer care numbers provided online are incorrect which makes us difficult to contact you in times of trouble with regard to tatasky. Atlast I found one number which is correct and Ofcourse attended but transferred my calls to the other person who never responded. Kindly look in to the matter and do the needful. your quick action toward this complaint would be appreciated. Thanks

                Tata sky Customer ID [protected]: My HD set top box was replaced on the 2nd of Oct 2015 as it had some problem. I was charged Rs 520/- for the replacement. Today this newly replaced set top box has again developed a problem as in the hard disk has failed and it will not record or playback. The technician attended the problem and said that I will have to shell out another Rs.700/- for a new set top box!! This is absolutely wrong!! Tata sky as a company is vending a sub standard product and expecting customers to keep paying for a faulty product every two months!! Tata sky Customer ID [protected] After speaking to a Mr. Hemant Khanna(incharge at their call centre) I have been made aware that there is only a 30 day warranty on your product!! So Tata sky expects customers to keep shelling out money every 30 days if the product goes kaput! According to Mr.Khanna, they cannot guarantee any electronic item.I think he has forgotten that he works for a company that provides service using patented electronic media!!! Fortunately for tata sky and unfortunately for me, we live in a country where such blatant consumer violations and absolutely unethical behavior are the norm!! I am not an unreasonable man. This box was replaced in Oct 2015(2 months ago) after having worked for about a year or so(not sure of the exact date). When it was replaced in October, I did not raise any issue as the box has worked for as much as I could reasonably expect any Chinese product to work. But I have serious issues to raise if I am being expected to pay for a replacement top box barely two months after buying a replacement!! Finally left with no choice, I have paid Rs.700/-(which will be deducted from my subscription account) and gotten a new set top box fitted. The least that Tata Sky can do is reimburse the money to my subscription account and change company policy to raise the warranty period for their box to at least 6 months.

                    Tatasky gives discount coupon for various shops like babyoye etc. but those coupons are not valid and we cannot use them. This bad and cheating . Regards, Shankar

                      We Hotel Reevanta, had 55 connections of Tata Sky for the 8 months n for the last eight months v are suffereing at the hands of Mr. Kamlesh Ojha, ([protected]) who lost the enthusiasm he showed while selling us the product. mr.Kamlesh Ojha is so busy that he never had courtesy of entertaining calls of distress. Always problems with the connection, because of which we bear the brunt from our clients..Please tell us the procedure to cancel and surrender, all our set boxes and retrieve the deposit money back.                           I had launched a relocation request on 14/12/2015 i received msg it will be fixed in 24 hours, i received 8 phone calls from 8 technicians inquired about the landmark and address but no one turned up i was surprised that i receiving a message that my relocation request is scheduled on 17 /12/2015. My question is how come 8 technicians called me ? if it is sheduled after 4 days of request registration the what does it means about 24 hours service?

                            I am a subscriber of TATASKY HD +. The problem is that the reception of the tatasky would just go blank and come back after about 15-20 minutes, I thought that this was common due to weather, but as the problem was persistent even in good weather I complained about the same. A representative from the company came and replaced the set top box and the power supply on the 11th of Dec. 2015. On 15th Dec. 2015 when I put the TV on I was shocked to see that my account had been deactivated and my balance was showing (-)591/-. I was suprised about the same and I called the customer care and learned from them that an amount Rs. 1040/- had been debited to my account, the same being the charges for the set top box and the power supply. As per the agreement of tatsky it is clearly mentioned that the set top box is the property of tatasky. The set top box if defective should be repaired/replaced by the company as I am paying for the services. The person from the company called me to inquire about my complain and when I explained to him about the same, he said that he cannot do anything about the same as the person who came to my house is just an installer of tatasky and not a technician. When I told him that there was a technical problem and hence the same should have been checked before the set top box was changed, he said that he cannot do any thing about it. I told him that I was ready to pay the charges, but that they would have to give me the old set top box and power supply to which he replied that I should not have allowed him to take the old set top box and power supply. When I told him that I was ready to pay the amount if they returned the old set top box and the power supply, he said that he cannot do any thing about it as it was an installer who had attended to the complain. When I told him that they should send authorised and trained personnel to attend to the complains he had nothing to say and said that he could do nothing to help me.

                              We are relocating to mumbai from ahmedabad.in ahmedabad that tata sky guys said that please submit your dish here, we will provide you another dish without any cost on another location where you want to be relocate.but now in mumbai, that tata sky dealer is saying that we need to submit 625 ₹ for getting dish.. If we are ok with this than only he will send person.this is not fair why we have to paid dish charges..we have already submitted dish in ahmedabad...why you people r making fool to your customers..

                                I was told by tata sky executive over online chat as well as their website mentions that Metro pack includes 30 HD Channels. So I went ahaed and got it activated. Now that pack is on, they say I will have to pay extra 175 per month as HD access fees?? Then how does pack includes 30 HD channels. This is broad day light robbery by tata sky. They should have clearly mentioned that i am eligible to view. If it is included that means the charges are also included.                                     Some channels like Gemini, suntv, sunmusic, maamovies are not telecasting well...they are strucking and playing with a time delay...so please solve the problem as soon as possible.
