With extreme exasperation I wish to lodge a complaint against tata sky, who has repeatedly been activating unneccesary packages without our consent. Despite that on submission of request for termination of the package on the same day of activation, the request is refused on the remarks that its a monthly pack. Today 26/2/15 a call came from tata sky customer service for introduction of active javed akhtar pack. Which was promptly refused and the phone disconnected. Despite this the pack was activated on 26/2/15. Same day I visited my tata sky account online and requested for droping the plan. But was refused on the pretext of it being a monthly pack and will not be deactivated before a month. Please help.

I feel you have no right to activate any challe with out our consent. Just the last day the monthly pack was Rs.240=0 not it is Rs. 264=00. Why? Change it back to Rs.240=00 or disconnect the services.
( tata sky id [protected]) many a times i have faced the problem of activation of channel with our our consent, which is immoral and dissappointing . Till last month the monthly pack charge was Rs.240== and now it is Rs. 264=00. Please change it to Rs.240=00 or disconnect it.

    we have been receiving incorrect balance and recharge details on tv monitor for balance and recharge position in respect of some other sub id no.[protected] which might pertain to any other consumer.Our consumer sub ID NO. is [protected] which is not under the pack of Rs.240 as shown by you .Please correct your position and send correct and factual details in respect of sub id no.[protected].

          i want to stop few of my chanel of tata sky. but nat able to contact living person. all time my call is connected with computor. in few situation whene ever i was able to contact with any person, they immidiatly connect my call to computor. i am very much disappointed with this type of working. i am doing hard since last 15 days but no result.

            For the past 20 days our 4 Tate Sky connections arent working ... I have filed innumerable complaints ... The technicians visit and do some work and they start working again ... As soon as they leave the connections conk off again !!! The call centre staff are most unhelpful and seem to have no records of the fact that we are lodging complaints almost every day ... Would appreciate if someone senior in the organisation gets involved and solves the problem. Joyeeta kumar [protected]

              Respected Sir, my request for change of Set top box is rejected due to non attendance of calls from Tata Sky. We are busy in our work when you are calling us every time we are unable to receive your call and as such you are requested to change the set top box without calling to us. otherwise disconnect our service we shall get another companies service

                Tata Sky Subscriber ID: [protected], i had recharged this account with rs.1400. my monthly charges was Rs.125 per month. i expected that if i pay eleven months charges the twelve month would be free. For that i called at the customercare so they said they will give the twelveth month free, instead they CHANGED MY MONTHLY PACKAGE TO RS.240 WITHOUT MY CONCERN, and i called several times to the customer care they arent giving a proper answer. i even have the records of my recharge and also the messages sent by Tata Sky. After recharge they had messaged in my registered mobile number the right monthly package rate rs.125 but when i called regarding the 11+1 scheme, instead they did whatever they felt, WITHOUT MY CONCERN THEY CHANGED MY MONTHLY PACKAGE.this is wrong at the company's part. i seek justice. yours sincerely, Ajaylal Maity Subscriber ID:[protected], Registered Mobile No. [protected].

                  Hi! This complain is in regards of the charges that you charge on us, being center of point I am talking about Relocation charges for which you guys says that it will be charged on us even we haven't used your Service for the same, This relocation of my set top box is done by me so I don't think I should pay that money (what you say!) to you even that old address and present address are both ours and even we can show you id's for that. Then if I don't use that service of yours than I don't think it will be charged on us in any case or in any circumstances. As you know in Past Year Tata Sky had revised two times its base package without giving any reason to its coustomer and you guys thinks that it is not questionable - as you guys say! But I tell you I don't think like that Sir if any thing is in public interest/use than it is complainable!/questionable So it is requested you to please change that Relocation charges(Rs200) thing as I was using your service since many years, anfd will not like to disconnect from your services, and for that relocation purpose I suggest you something please if you think like any thing than please on that relocation see Personal Id's of the person using - as this thing (Set top Box) is relocatable and A coustomer will not like to pay charges for the services that even he haven't used.                     I have been using tata sky service more then 8 years now.I have made so many calls to the there call centers and the promise to send there repair person and they don't send the person and no one calls back from tata sky to check. Its very unprofessional for tata sky to not check back on there customers.its been more then 3 days they had promised to send there installer to repair my set up box.I have not yet revived any call or no one have come from tata sky to repair it. When u call back on tata sky call center and complain and all they do is put your call on hold and later cut the call so u waste your 6 min holding the call 4 min explaining the matter and after everything they cut your call so u have to call back again and do the entire thing again. Explain same matter to some one else

                      I bought Tata Sky subscription online after speaking to support and comparing the services offered with other competitors. After getting this in Dec, my first hiccup was during activation, it appears its not enough if you buy HD subscription you need to pay a separate charge for HD access. This is not documented on their website, not mentioned by the installation guy, support - basically no way of knowing this until you come to the day when you need to extend your subscription. I find this shady since it was not even listed in the monthly statement I received. I am fine with the fee but against this malpractice of duping users - you could have listed the amount along with the base plan. If we look at base plan it states you get xx HD channels in base plan, what is the point of giving HD access if the user account cannot access it? And if you still want to collect access fee why not list it somewhere? First you have to buy a HD box to receive content, then you will charge extra for HD channel and then you need to pay extra to view HD channel over tata sky - WHAT a Joke. When I have paid for HD box, paid for HD channel why are you charging me extra and if you want to charge, why not be transparent? During installation, the local support or the phone support could have clearly informed you need to pay extra for HD access and I could have taken a call if I want to use Tata sky. I was asked for extra charge of 125/- when I enquired I was told the payment was pending and since I had paid online the amount did not get collected. I could have been informed upfront that this is a monthly payment in addition to the charge of base plan. All were interested in trapping consumers rather than keeping the process transparent. Now, when I have raised my complaint with support the resolution was to discontinue with Tata sky as you cannot help. I was promised a call back which was not made. Subscriber ID: [protected] I would have never signed up for Tata sky if I knew there is an extra charge, that too 125/- per month. If I need a decent set of channels, I have to pay 500+ per month. I would have got Airtel HD for 300 from my local guy. Now I am stuck for I have invested in setup. You guys are pathetic. Why cant you be honest? I want my money back I am done with you guys.

                          I made recharge for Rs 1000 today i.e.[protected] through my HDFC Bank Debit Card by mistake.I had to recharge for Rs 385 only as I am leaving India on[protected]..It is now requested to refund Rs 615 to me or keep balance till I come back in the last week of May 2015. Thanks.

                            Dear Sir/Mam, My customer ID is [protected]. I am not able to watch TV from last 10 days. There are some technical problem as communicated to us over phone but no body is responding to fix it up. I have registered my complain at customer care 6-7 times but every time they cut their phone without listening our problem. Every time customer care executive ask for 24 hours/4 hours/2 hours kind of time but no one is listening and fixing it up. If some of you are looking after these thing actualy. Please take the corrective actions and solve it my money is deducting unnecessary or return my money which is lying into my account; I will take new coonection from another service provider.                               I regret to inform you that I had an appalling experience with Tata Sky during my relocation. After several reminders, the technician visited me to relocate the Tata Sky however to my horror he was inadequately equipped for the job. I was told that the wire which was working perfectly fine at my old address is defective and must be replaced. Thought not convinced, I gave him the permission to change the wire. He was no carrying the wire with him at the time of installation & promised me that he will visit me the next day with the wire so that the installation can be completed. After waiting for days, I got in touch with customer care which could not help me either. What’s shocking is that when I asked them to terminate the services, they will more than happy to do it without even making an attempt to resolve the core issue. It’s been days that I have not heard from him. I have made numerous attempts to get in touch with him however, all my efforts have been in vain. It’s extremely shocking that a simple task like relocation should take this much time. I have been a loyal customer with Tata Sky for the last 2 years and have been relatively happy with the service until now. The experience so far has been very excruciating, this type o[censored]nprofessional behavior is not expected from a brand like Tata Sky. This type of service not only maligns the brand but also compels customers to look for better options. Needless to say that I am extremely displeased with the way I have been treated and this mail is an attempt to request you to look into this matter urgently and get this issue resolved on a priority.                                 Subscriber ID [protected] Tata Sky is a cheat. My hd+ set top box burnt out on its own in less than one year of installation. Service technician refused to replace saying his area service manager refusing. Whenever I call their helpline the executives say I am entitled to free replacement. But area service manager Mr Amit always says no. Tata Sky is duping its consumers.

                                Yes I think Tata Sky has gone down in its services and product. The New set top box is very fragile and gets burnt and no one is owning its responsibility

                                  My Tata sky dish relocation is not done after I logged a complaint in evening on 16th Nov 2015 using the company website. Till date its not resolved. This way Tata sky will surely loose business after relocation issues. Only one person from Tata sky visited & didn't done anything. I got many calls from their call center stating it will be resolved in 24 hrs; but their time line doesn't seem to end.

                                    Dear Sir, Myself Dipayan Mullick resident of 111, Sunderbagh, Lucknow had purchased a Tata Sky connection today ie. 22/02/15 through your telephonic facility. The instrument along with the Set Top Box was installed by your local service mechanic. As per terms I had paid Rs. 2270/- through cash to the person who fitted the gadget. However he refused to give me an official receipt for the payment made to him saying that he was not having any receipt book. Later, on while contacting your local office I was told that such a receipt and a warranty card on purchase of a product cannot be provided to me. I think that this is total violation of sales and service condition where no official receipts are issued to customers. Please look into the matter and arrange to provide me a receipt because TATA Group is known as a pioneer organisation in Indian market with worldwide reputation and hence such lapses are totally unjustified.                                       They change the set top box before 2-3 months...and now it is not working...v haven't said that change our old set top box...but they changed it and now they are saying they want charge for new set top box of 500 rs. I m not agree with this. In 2-3 months I m getting problem in this STB, than what is the gerranty of new set top box. And why I pay 500 rs. I want my old STB. We have a common disk in our society. V all r not satisfied with tata sky. every time getting problem. v r tired now. set top box is yr instrument. than u have to pay for that...if it was 5-6 yrs old than i can understand that it can happen. i m getting out from tata sky. i m having mentally haressment from tata sky now. i will not pay 500 rs. i[censored] want to change STB, than ok otherwise v whole society will leave yr tata sky connection. that's all.
