I am using ta tatasky dth services for last one & half year. They have deducted money from my deposit for usage of sonypix and music channel. I subscribed for sonypix for one day, but at the time of cancellation i was told that i have to subscribe for minimum one month, but to my utter surprise despite the fact i have repeatdly been requesting for discontinuation of this channel tatasky kept on deducting money for this channel. Further i am the subscriber of metro pack in which the channel being shown to me in music channel are included but for this also to my utter surprise they are deducting money from my a/c.I am struggling by all means including chat on line on 30th sep with tatasky representatives but in vain. They have troubled me for last so many days they haye not only wasted my valueable time and money on making so many calls but also given me mental agony wich i am not to undergo because of my ill health due to my kidney transplant.Despite the fact i kept on requesting to tatasky to look at my complaint and tell me the balance amount they did not do so but using their highhandedness to disconnet my connection.     Tta Sky is non ops since 04 Oct 14. Could not get through Helpline No. due to heavy congestion since they do not have enough counters. Finally lodged complaint at about 0930h on 05 Oct 14. The Technical Rep/Team contacted after sometime. I asked them to come before 1600h since we were not available at home after 1630h. Surprisingly, the person called up at 1730h(approx) and announced that he is coming. I requested him to come on 06 Oct 14 between 1100 and 1200h. Since these people did not even contact even upto lunch time, I called up TATA SKY and lodged complaint. They promised that within 1 Hour someone will get in touch. It was only at about 1600h that the same person got in touch and said that he will come only after 1800h. I asked him why he did not come at 1100h as promised. He did not say anything and cut the call. I again complained to TAT SKY and told them about misbehaviour, coming unannounced and not attending to complaints. They escalated to higher level on my insistance and promised that within an hour they will get back. No response till now even after 48 hours of complaining twice. THis is not the first time this is happening. I had the same experience atleast on 2 occassions earlier also. THey need to be taken to Consumer Court and made to pay for their deeds.

    Tatasky is horrible in the rain it stops in the summer it stops! It never works properly and their helpline executives are ignorant and totally unhelpful. Videocon is much better

      my subscriber id is [protected] . I have lodged complaint on 26th September 2014 for set up box complaint as it was not working properly and it has been replaced on 30th September 2014 and the person collected Rs.500/- as charges along with service charges of Rs.150/-.Total they collected Rs.650/-. Contact number of the Person who collected the amount is [protected] / [protected]. After the replacement the set up box is not working properly till now and from the day onwards i am trying to contact this person but he is not responding. When i visited your tata sky gallery they are telling that they dont have the alternative setup box for replacement. So i hereby inform you that i just want to cancel my subscription and i want my money back amounting to Rs.850/-. I dont want any of your services from now onwards.         Hello, I would like inform you that I am a subscriber of Tata sky and want to log my complaint regarding the rate increasing twice in a year by Tata sky services without any consent taken from us, Whenever call to them about this query they reply very rudely and speaking like this, if you are having any problem with Tata sky then go for discontinue. Within a year my package rate increases from 240 to 290/, I think this not fair to increase such a way even their service is also very poor. Need you help to solve this issue.             A recharge of Rs620/- was made on line through ICICI Bank vide their transaction remark [protected]/0 dated 6/10/14 but yet Tatasky has not credited my above account but instead sending reminders about payment due. Moreover, their helpline number is not free and the IVR is only in Hindi and lacks clarity and audibility. Their choice of menu during IVR is very limited with no scope of speaking to customer care.

To day ie on date[protected] without our prior permission you have started Active Cooking pack worth Rs49/00 per month and I had received SMS regarding this package So I had contacted to drop this unwanted package from my package on your no [protected]. They have reply that This package is not dropped for to day and after one month I have to call back for dropping this un wanted active cooking.
              This is totally unfair hence If this problem is not solve then I am have to register this compiling in consumer grievance.

                I made a call to the call centre on Sunday the 6th Sept 2014 to install
                my Dish and mentioned its a relocation, the answer was yes sir we will
                have some one to call you shortly in the next 24hrs, they did call me

                  Hello, I am Prakash Chetwani from Pune I have purchased a Tata sky SD DTH connection online with subscriber id [protected] on 28/09/2014. For Installation purpose, the concerned team has raised my request, but its almost 2 weeks now, yet no one from their side has came to install the set top box at my place. I wrote mails and called them many times, but they are not even appearing or giving me satisfactory replies for the same. Also, Regarding this, I contacted the Corporate sales office of Wakad, Pune, The person assured me of visiting my place to install the set top box, but the person didn’t showed up on that date and even on contacting him he gave me different date to visit, but till now he hasn’t appeared, he is not even responding me, neither he is picking my calls. I never expected this kind of treatment from a very reputed group company, pretty dissapointed.

                    I had subscribed to Tata Sky annual pack in March 2014. In April I subscribed to their jingala offer to try Acive Music for Re 1/- for a month. I was not satisfied with the Active Music and since May I have been calling up customer care and requesting them to stop the service. The customer care number is manned by non-professionals operating from their home. Most of the time you get distracted with the surrounding noise. They do not understand English, speak only in Hindi. After a struggle to find someone who speaks English, if you are lucky, you get a customer service representative who can talk in English. You explain your problem and pat comes the reply "I can not disconnect Active Music. I will connect you to a Senior. Again after a while, you get someone who starts questioning you why you want to discontinue Active Music. You explain your reasons and convince him to disconnect. He promises that it will be done in 24 hrs. But it will never be done. I have gone through this process at least 5 times and Active Music is still active and I lose out Rs.1.50 every day. I request your help to make Tata Sky officials to drop the pack and refund the charges levied from May 2014.

                    I have a tata sky connection with subscriber id [protected]
                    there is a main connection and an add-on 2nd tv
                    due to cyclone in Visakhapatnam, dish got damaged.
                    I have raised a complaint with the customer care on the 21st of oct 2014 (Work order No# FCVB40I) and they promised me to solve the problem in 24 hrs.
                    when it was not solved, I raised an online complaint in the 23rd oct (SR # SR[protected]
                    even then there was no response. on 25th they automatically closed my online complaint without even solving the problem.
                    I called them and made a request again. (W.O. ref # FECTBHP)
                    I have made repeated requests every day and they even got me to talk to their supervisors on 5 occasions.
                    on 29th I got a message that my complaint made on 21st is closed.
                    when I called the customer care, they said that it is a technical problem and even they could not understand why the problem is unsolved.
                    they then made a new request (W.O. # FG7SVUF).
                    even then the problem is unsolved.
                    when I called on 1st Nov at 11:58 hrs, they said that they could not retrieve my account details due to a technical glitch and asked me to call after an hour.
                    I called up again t 13:30 and they said "please call after 2 hrs".
                    i am being put at task for the past 12 days without any result.
                    i am unable to view my tv since after the hudhud cyclone and i regret the decision to purchase a tata sky connection. i wish to cancel both the connections and request a refund of the balance amount from my subscription.

                    My Id is [protected], for the past 10 days i am not able to view the Regional channels(Tamil&Malayalam), I have called to customer care on 05.04.2015, they told that there is a satellite up gradation is going on &the problem will resolved with in 24 hours.For the next day the channels are able to view, but the third day same problem persist.Then i have called to customer care and lodge a complaint, they told that with in 24 hours their technician will come & check the issue.At last a technician came on 12.04.2015 he checked and told that Set top box needs to replace with a new updated one, but at the time technician visit the set top box is working, he removed all the connections and told that take the box in to our office and we will replace with a new one at free of cost.He charge me 200 rs as servicing charge.The next Day 13.04.2015 my father take the Set top box to the Tata Sky office at palakkad, kerala they told that the box is not working because a lot of dust inside the box they demanded for five hundred rupees for the new set top box, My father told that he doesn't bring money after a long chat they give a new set top box to my father and told that rs 300 will be deducted in our account.We fitted the new Set top Box with Tv but still the Regional channel are not able to view. Inform this to the Tata sky office, He told he will arrange a person to check this issue.The technician called me and asked rs 200 as a service charge before he comes.Already I have pay rs 720 for this and the problem is not solved.This is a very very poor response from a corporate like Tata .Hope that i get a justice in this

                    I am not able to view any channels on tata sky, may be due signal issue or whatever from your side.

                    In spite of my repetitive complains nobody is bother to respond.I am only getting a SMS from your side that your complain is in process SINCE 3 rd of April 2015 and when i call customer care I get to hear only your recorded MSG that all our customer service executive are busy.

                    This kind of service was NOT EXPECTED FROM TATA'S.
                    Let me know when it will be resolved and WHY I SHOULD PAY FOR THIS INCONVENEINCE.

                    I've complained to Tata sky representative in April first week that my set up box is not receiving signal properly.
                    They conveyed apologies and promised that a technician will visit in next 24 hours to resolve the issue.

                    Waited for 5 long days but no one showed up. Called customer care again and heard that ticket has been closed.
                    I was pissed off and logged a new ticket, again waited for few more days and called them back regading technician visit. This time I was literally gone mad after hearing that this ticket has been closed too.

                    I wonder why the heck you people will close requests without attending it? How come you people play with customer's valuable time?

                    At last they got responded to my 4th complaint ticket and fixed the issue on April 30th. Complete one month I was suffered with this issue and they charged 271 rs for the month of April.

                    Only day I watched TV properly is April 30th and I paid 271rs for one single day in April.

                    Please ref my Tata Sky ID [protected]. I am Colonel P Venkatachalam from Bangalore. I write to you today to express my deep anguish and disappointment at the poor service of TATA sky.
                    Problems started during installation when your mechanic Gurdeep from Bangalore came and tried to use my existing Sun Direct connection cable to install TATA sky. When i questioned him about it, he damaged my Sun Direct antenna and feeder thus causing me a damage of Rs 2500. He said he will come within two days to get it repaired through Sun Direct agencies since it was his mistake but he completely disappeared after that. I promptly complained to you about this incident but I have heard no response on the matter till date. I am thoroughly disgusted by the poor customer service and lack of concern to your customers complaints. I would hence request you to compensate my loss. About 10 days back your TATA Sky rep rang up to take HD connection for Rs 70 pm for two months which i agreed to but since my TV has packed up I request you to cancel the HD connection with immediate effect and retain only basic South Indian packages @Rs180 pm.

                    There was no service on 20.05.15 from morning. I had to see IPL match through Laptop. I spoke to customer care personnel with great difficulty (queue no.28 & queue no.14) twice to rectify the problem over phone but in vain.
                    On 21.5.15 morning registered a complaint and received WO:I6S1CLB through SMS mentioning technician visit between 15.20 & 16.00 but in vain.
                    On 22.5.15 afternoon I had online chat with TataSky personnel who apologized and said that I will be intimated over phone the timing of technician visit but in vain.
                    Do refer to attachment for name and script exchanged during the online chat. As of now 3 days without service.
                    I had to engage a third party and paid a premium to rectify the problem.
                    On 25.5.15 again due to non-availability of service, I had to register a complaint and received WO:I9GDQJP with a sms 'We will contact you soon for taking appointment related to technician visit but in vain.
                    Later in the day I received SMS that visit is scheduled between 16:00 and 16:40 but in Vain.
                    Then at 19:06 another SMS that mentioned schedule time between 19:20 & 20:00 but in vain.
                    As of now 4 days no service
                    I had to engage a third party and paid a premium to rectify the problem.
                    On 26.5.15 at around 3.30 p.m. again I contacted tatasky personnel through online chat(refer to attachment for snapshot of chat window) and insisted on refunding the rental for the days of No service, which he also registered.
                    Hi my subscription id is [protected], I have raised concern about changing my set top box and it have been 15 - 20 days, I was informed that someone will come in 2 - 3 days even though the recharge was done but I was not able to view any channels. Whenever I have called I have been informed someone is on the way to my address to replace and had to avoid other work because of it but nobody turned up. I have been speaking to Customer service but they have no answers to my simple question when someone is coming to change the DTH box but rather to avoid any questions they feel comfortable to disconnect the call at their end. I also spoke to a so called supervisor ROHAN today who hardly bother whatever our concern is and also disconnected the cal saying he does not have any idea when our set top box will be changed and we may have to be without television for another month... I don't feel this is a good customer service. I feel when we call we should be given solution to our problem and at the end of the incomplete conversation ROHAN the supervisor gave me a small hint saying that if we want to CHANGE THE SERVICE PROVIDER he does not have any issue... So I had to speak to other service provider

                      My Subcriber ID No.[protected], My monthly charges are Rs.190/- for South Indian Pack with Telugu Language. I paid my monthly subcription charges on 27th Sep 2014 and the due date as per the SMS received from your Team is[protected]. But now there is display in my TV on 3rd Oct 2014 stating that My Monthly Plan charges are Rs.340/- and due date is 6th Oct 2014. This is 2nd time that I am receiving this type of messages on my TV screen when I complained on 1st August 2014, I did not received any reply and now again I received the same type of messages.                           I have been paying approx 450 rupees a month from past 3 years for the tata sky connection and my experience has not been great but in the past few weeks it's been the worst customer servic experience ever. I have not been able to watch about 14 channels like star movies, star world, hob, zee studio, Comedy Central, discovery turbo, etc. from the past 3 weeks. When called to register a complaint that a few channels are not coming, I was old I pay 150 bucks so that a technician could com and check. It's like buying food and then paying again to eat it. When I denied and asked to get my connection cancelled the guy says "I won't disconnect your connection just don't recharge when the balance is finished" and hung up on me. I was hung up on like 6 times and hen I finally gave up. I have been cheated with all the stupid promises made by tata sky and it's marketing team. I would go to any extent even if I have to release a video explaining how stupid the tata sky customer service is.

                          We faced same issue with dish tv, funny thing is they gave same reply regarding one of our comlaint .. They all are same, airtel dth, dish tv, tata sky, they think customer is fool, and they stop telecasting any channel that we dont watch frequently. I think they dont have any fear about consumer complaints.
                          This showS how concerned Tata Sky is about its reputation and name in the market. Believe me this going to be big for you guys...

                            WORST SERVICE EVER !!! I LODGED A COMPLAIN ON 02nd October 2014, REGARDING DISRUPTION MY SERVICES AS I WAS NOT ABLE TO SEE DUE TO SOME TECHNICAL REASONS !!! IT WAS TOLD TO ME ON NEXT DAY MY COMPLAINT WILL BE RESOLVED PERMENANTLY BUT NO ONE HAS ATTAINED THE CALL TILL NOW ... FIRST I GOT SMS STATING COMPLAINT NO F4M6ITB WILL BE ATTAINED ON 03RD OCT 14 THEN I GOT A CALL FROM THE SERVICE GUY MR. AJAY ( [protected]) FOR CONFIRMING MY ADDRESS AND HIS VISIT .. BUT NO ONE VISITED THEN I GOT ANOTHER SMS CONFIRMING RE-SHEDULED VISIT ON 04TH OCT 14 .. I GOT A CALL FROM THE SAME SERVICE GUY MR. AJAY ( [protected]) FOR CONFIRMING HIS VISIT, BUT TILL NOW NO ONE HAS COME TO MY PLACE, I HAVE BEEN CALLING 4 TO 5 TIMES SINCE THESE 3 DAYS ... NO SOLUTION TILL NOW !!! TERRIBLE SERVICE... IN THE FIRST MONTH OF CONNECTION I AM FACING SUCH PROBLEMS..AND MOST PATHETIC RESPONSES... ALL FALSE PROMISES WHENEVER I CALL !!! [protected]. our tata sky set top box is not working properly. whenever we switch on the TV it displays a message " Please wait. initialising ".and TV does not start. We have to wait for long and also after that it does not start. We have to switch on and off it again and again.we face problems due to it.                                 I have called their call centre to cancel and disconnect both my connections due to the pathetic attituted of the outsourced people they have kept to address customer issues. They are using faulty and degraded parts and then charge customers for visit and repair. Airtel and videocon D2h service is far better than this Tatasky. They are ruining the Tata name. Don't buy Tatasky, its from experience that I a saying this.

                                  I purchased Tata Sky HD. I was told (From number- [protected]) that a person will come to install today (3rd Oct, 2014) between 1-2:40pm..But nobody appeared, neither did anyone bother to call me and ask if installation completed. After that I have already called thrice to your customer care only to hear that the person will come in next 1 hr. And now nobody is even picking up the call on the mobile number I mentioned above. You spoiled my holiday. Since morning I am waiting for you guys. This is how you treat your new customers???

                                    since the last one week all the english channels, hd, etc. are being relayed with constant disruptions inspite of the weather being ok. there is no rain in chennai but sill the disruptions continue. we are unable to watch any channels. pls look into this immediately. catherine yourey

                                      Today at around 10.05PM, connection to TataSky was disrupted with the error message that card is not inserted properly, whereas we have not done anything. This means though the problem was at the end of Tata Sky, however message was that we have done something wrong with the Setup Box. When contacted customer service at 10.13PM and talked to Customer Care Executive NAV, despite telling the problem I was asked to repeat the complaint twice. This shows that the executive was not attentive to the customer. Second time talk to Customer Care Executive Jagdish at 10.19PM and asked to talk to customer care manager. Despite this the call was transferred to Sr. Customer Care Executive - Amit, who simply refused to call the Customer Care Executive. There are no Grievance Redressall or Appellate person contact details available on the website of Tatasky.

                                        During installation, charges of dish is taken from many subscribers for individual dish.But on a single dish, DTH connection is made for all the subscribers. Also whenever any default occurs for any subscriber in the building, the problem for that subscriber is solved but the DTH signal issues occurs for other subscriber.This problem occurred for the second time.This seems to be an idea to earn visiting charges.
