Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a existing user of Tata Sky. I am using tata Sky for more than 3 Yrs. I am using two Tata Sky Plus Set up Boxes. From the 1st Year only I am receiving complaint with both the boxes , Either they gets hangs or not works at all. Till today both Have been replaced with a repaired setup box atleast two times. I have lodged a complaint with Tata Sky on 28 th october 2010 for my Setup Box again not working, But nobody came to replace the box after reminding them several times. They just escaped by saying that Boxes are not available with the service Dept & will be replaced soon.Both my boxes were not working and complaint had been registered many times via email & on Telephone also.
Only one of the setup Box Have been replaced yesterday that too after so many reminder .
I am deeply anguished and hurt by this attitude of your company. Apart from such a mental apathy, our balance with your company is getting reduced. If my complaint is not redressed and my services are not restored upto my satisfaction by 11 AM tomorrow ie thursday 11 AM, I shall be forced to move to higher authorities and consumer courts for harassment and delay caused deliberately by your company.

      Such a poor service, I doubt if Tata Sky a Tata product ? I have serious doubt. You have given me and my family such a terrible headache and I am so aggrieved by your services that I might switch to un parliamentary language.



      I had made a complaint at your Delhi Call center no. [protected] on 17th November near noon vide reference number 1-[protected] This was regarding my tata sky connection not working. After about an hour of arguing and trying for various combinations over telephone, I was promised that ENGINEER from the Company shall be visiting my premises within 48 Hours. I waited till 19th November. On 20th Nov, I again called the call center. I was told that my complaint shall be met with by Sunday 21st November, 10 AM. No one turned up. I called up call center at 10 AM, I was told that some Engineer wd come by Sunday evening. I was given a new reference number 1-[protected]



      We are a working couple , turn by turn we took 3 days ie Thursday, Friday & Saturday. We had a family function this afternoon which we skipped to the dismay of our relatives and friends.



      The synopsis of above is as under:

        left the job incomplete and their customer care is also so loose , lazyness because they dont want to solve the problem except create the problem we are so much harrassed by them we are contacting customer care last four days and they accept that yor querry will be solved wuithin 24hrs.but till now their 24 hours is not finished now

        Tata Sky — Installation incomplete....

        I had purchased Tata Sky in the month of Dec-08. The installation of disk is still pending at Flat No. A-74, Krishnakunj Appartment, Yamuna nagar, Near Millat Nagar, Lokhandwala, Andheri (West). The technician came to my house and connected the cable with another customer's disk in my appartment saying that he will be coming tomorrow and install my disk. So far nobody has attended the job. Now, the current disk, has also not receiving signals. I am unable to avail the facility even after paying the annual subscription and the installation charges. My mobile no. is [protected].

          Sir,

          I have applied for new TATA sky connection through my mobile :[protected].

          My subscriber Id is:[protected]. At the first time when I talked to customer care they have told me that I need to pay 999/- which is one time change for Hardware+Instalation and no hidden charge will be applied to me.

          As per our conversation I have paid 999/- through my credit card,however at the time of installation I was asked to pay Rs 500/- extra to install their hardware (Dish) on window instead of terrace.

          It was not at all communcated to me earlier and I was told that there will be no other hidden charge;but I had to pay total 1500/- to get the connection.

          I aslo refused to pay this extra amount ;but I got the call from customer care that in such a case my cooncetion will be disconnected.

          Could you please look into this matter;I am looking to get this money back (500) from TATA SKY+compensation amount.

            I purchased a LG LCD TV on 17-oct 2010 with which TATA Sky connection is provided as an Diwali offer.
            On 9th Nov 2010 I logged a call for Installation of TATA Sky at desired address for my Tata Sky suscriber ID [protected]. As per given in the Voucher with in 72 hours after the call is logged installation will be done. Since last 9 days despite of everyday communication with TATA Sky Customer care Executives till 18th Nov 2010 installation could not be done.
            Kindly take the necessary action.

              I am a tata sky subscriber. My ID is [protected]. I have relocated my house at Bhopal. For reinstallation of my tata sky dish, I have called to customer care on 1/11/2010. Since no body attended my request, I called again for 8 times. Every time call attender said that I will be done in 24-48 hours. Today is 17th Nov. and am still waiting since last 17 days for reinstallation. Due this harrassment I have decided to remove tata sky connection for ever. If still some hope is remained, Please do the needful.

              I am a TATA SKY customer at Bangalore and my customer ID is [protected]. I have relocated my house very recently (last SUNDAY - 2Mar08). I called up customer care and infromed well in advance about my relocation (much before 30hours) and got appointment. I shifted my house and i was waiting..waiting and waiting..till now nobody came to my place. I made around 30calls to tatasky customer care but they kept on telling "it will be done by today" and at the end of day they used to tell "the engg re-scheduled"..and story repeats everyt-day. There is a BIG gap in comm between customer & engg department due to which customers are having bad time. it is the worst service I ever had in my life time. Thanks to TATASKY for showing hieghts of irresponsibility and not communicating well to customers. I have learnt a lot from your pathetic service. I missed grand cricket FINALand also missing today's match :(. It is a mental tourcher for the customer and BIG harassement.
              TATA Sky DOES have VERY lousy customer care. i JUST don't understand how they recruit personel who do not understand english. I got a time-slot for getting an installation done for 10:30. When i called at 11:30 and spoke to one Jitesh Kulkarni, who spoke very slowly, and ended it by cliaming that the security guards had prevented the installation chaps from entering. I went down, and asked the security people, and they denied anyone had come, at all. Anyways, the gentleman assured me that he would call me, which he DID NOT, and so i called again, at 2. I spoke to some woman called Yogita, who refused to divulge her FULL NAME, and stated that the installaton people could turn up, ANY TIME, during the day. She seemed quite lost, and when i asked her for her full name, or the name of the Customer Care Manager, she started acting funny. She refused to give either of the names.
              I CANNOT believe, that the TATAs are out to run organisations, of world standards, when their customer care management, is NOT in place.
              Also, if there IS an option for language, and one choses English, is it TOO much to ask, that the customer care executive speak SOME english.

              I've a similar experience myself.

              When I intimated customer care @ TataSky a week before the date of my movement (I moved to a different city), I was told to call a day prior to the date of shifting; there's no feature of call logging for this, & I had to call them again.

              The real customer experience started then. After logging my call, I got a call from their engineer from the city I was relocating to; this engineer asked me the way to my new address where I would be reaching after 3 days. Besides, as Channabasavara's experience goes, I never got any engineer at my place on the day of relocation despite many calls made to them.

              Above all this, I was billed differently than charges I was told. On calling customer care, I was told that these charges were revised (they got the revised rates the day I called them, however I was charged with the revised rates 5 days prior.)

              Though I'm not sure about the service levels of DishTV & Reliance (who's launching BIGTV soon), this wonderful experience made me decide that I was going to discontinue their services about which I intimated them on the grivance through a call & through email. They never bothered to a seperating customer to resolve the issues.

              The apathy has made me ponder on how long we have to bear the seller's inaptitutde on customer handling. All o[censored]s have got many such experiences in banking & telecom already; & none of such things have made the service providers improve on their service levels.
              I feel they don't have any customer support at all. I tried to reach[protected]for South and East) to complain about the Tata Sky service being stopped to Sub ID. [protected], which I recharged recently.

              The most irritating part is I have tried to reach them 20-30 times and each time they play this funny recorded promotional ads, and this goes on for ever and no Technical support staff picks up the call.

              I have even faxed the complaint, and even tried to reach local technician but he gives some other number and asks to complain there, which is also not working.

              Their Customer support system is the worst I have seen in my life.

              I'm thinking of going to Customer court if they don't fix the issue immediately.
              I have been using tatasky for the las 1.5 yrs...

              If you ask my customer satisfaction level with tatasky...i would like to go for a couple of digits down to -ve.

              Their charges won't compensate either to the channels they provide and the customer care too.

              I would appreciate, instead of throwing away their, Set Top Box, do I have any option to switch to a different provider with the same equipments?

              Can't even hope they would be fine in one fine day...

              Hopeless Guys! Better to shutdown the operations and stop fooling customers

              Two weeks back, I have tried to call them nearly times and each time play some pre-recorded promotional ads, and this go times for ever and no Technical support staff picks up the call.

              Tata Sky — New Connection - Very bad experience.

              I have purchase the Tata Sky on 29th July'2008, Till this date i haven't received Set top box, I have spent some about Rs.3000/- for follow up calls, Tata Sky No: 66006633 always busy, they will put on hold for hours and hours. Tata Sky dont have their office in AP to contact personally. what to do i am not understanding. Please anyone can help me in this matter.

              I have purchased a tatasky connection form a vendor(subscriber id [protected]) and it is registered in his name. despite my repeated requests to chnage the subscriber name to mine the same has not materialised. In fact the connection was bought for the office use without the TS people not informing me about the availability of diff channels the brochure also doesnt clearly mention the no of channels available.

              I thought the supersaver pack would meet the requirements but to mt surprise it doesnt even support the sports channels the Ts people are asking me pay up an additional Rs 40 for sports channels despite me asking them to take away some entertainment channels like star plus one etc.

              I m thinking for asking for a refund from the Ts people or take them to Consumer court for misleading people.

              I have been using tata sky for a long time and the few encounter that i have had with their customer care team has actually left me quite impressed.. what impressed me was the their quick respones and the how well versed were they with their product since tht is very unlikely.. i have had my bad experience with other DTH and tata sky customer support clearly stands out among other DTH guys ...
              I am using Tata Sky and have beeen a happy customer since.. although i recently shifted and had my doubt bout their efficiency .. but to my pleasnt surprise it was done without any hassles plus they have cut down theri relocation charges now..

              I am the customer of tata sky since one year. recently I shifted my house from tallagadda, hyderabad to another place. My customer ID no. is [protected]. I called the customer care from my registered mobile number to relocate the dish and connection. I spoke to Ms. Indira who answered my call from customer care last saturday night about 8.00pm. i.e., on 30th May, 2009. she was took about half-an-hour time but result is nothing. she always said "one second" one second" but I could not get the right information to reinstall my tata sky connection. I did't understand why those persons were hired by the tata sky. before that, one of the person from tata sky always chanting "like...like...like... " really it is inconvenience to say like like... to the customer. any how any one can do help to reinstall the connection while watch this comment.
              My id is [protected], i has paid for a secondry connection through creditcard & i was promised that the next day i would definately get my setup box & when nobody turned up by afternoon i called the customer service only to be told it would be done within 48 hours, i had no option but to wait, after the completion of the said period when no one responded i called them back again & i was promised by senior personal that he is personally assuring me that it would be delivered directly the engineers by next day noon but again nobody turned up, again i had to call back and one lady so politely told me that she will most certainy look into this matter & will most certainly call me back with in 2 hours, i am still waiting for the call from tatasky...this clearly shows their lack of comittment towards their customer.
              I would like to minimise the scheme whcih I am enjoying at Rs.320/- including southern package, as I want to see only the sothern package I have been trying to contact the customer care service of tata sky which seems one of the worst customer care system in the world because i feel now i am living in ethiopia.I am loosing my time wastage of listening recorded voice from the customer care service of tata sky which is befooling every one india, I am going to switch the connection.
              We are shortly relocating from One city to Hyderabad. What is the process to shift my TATASKY conncection with the same sub id.Please tell me
              Most pathetic DTH Services - Definitely TATA SKY...i made the payments for a new connection in Jaipur...i was told it will be installed in 4 hours time...after making 20 odd calls, 2 technicians (Surprisingly, TATA sky people call them "Engineers"...What a Shame on the word "Engineer") visited after 2 days and when they were told for a conceled installation, first they said it will cost Rs 500 extra...later on, they said they dont know how to do it since they have never done it...My frustation reached to heights when they cross-checked with their supervisor and they informed me that no one in their offie knows about the installation...!!! TATA SKY IS A BLACK SPOT FOR ALL THE DTH PROVIDERS IN INDIA...!
              I had purchased Tata Sky for Ponda on 3rd June 09 from Shree Durga Enterprise Ponda. ID 1-[protected] but till date it has not been installed.
              Within 15 days of subscribing to TATASKY, I decided to say TATA to their service due to their armwisting attitude and sadistic approach of deactivating the connection every second day asking for payment of petty amounts like Rs. 9 and 04 paise, Rs. 18 and eight paise etc. Whenever I start the TV to see breaking news, I get (heart) breaking news that your account is de-activated. On calling up, their customer service centre, after a long wait, I used to get serious advise to go to a near by dealer and pay Rs. 9 and 4 paise for re-activation. Being fed up of this, I switched over to a better service provider at a cheaper rate and now I am happy with their service. On asking for refund of the initial payment of Rs.1999/-, I get a (sub) standard reply that we do not have a refund policy.

              After this experience, I call upon TATASKY to modify their advertisement :

              TATASKY ke sath life Jhinga-lala;
              After getting the payment, every thing Dheela-dhala

              Now I am planning to approach Consumer Redressel Forum to get refund of my initial payment of Rs.1999/-.

              I was planning to buy a Tata Sky connection with three Set Top boxes at my home.

              Yesterday morning some office person called me to confirm the visit by Tata Sky person whom I repeatedly told that I wanted to have the Demonstration first and ten would confirm the purcahse.

              Then in the morning some mechanic arrived with a helper who told me that demonstration was only possible after having confirmed the purchase of at least on e set top box. Naturally the purchase could not go ahead as I wanted a demonstration first. He then told me that for Demonstration I would have to visit the office and departed without telling me where the office was nor also anyone from the office bother to call me afterwards to enquire what the problem was.

              The below detailed questions naturally come to mind

              Why the Tata Sky office persons are so callous in their attitude towards new customers? Why they could not have told me before hand that demonstrations are only given at the office?
              Is it because they are getting salaries regularly and being on full stomach could not care any less for potential customers?
              Where is the Tata Sky office in Pune ?
              Why only some mechanic type person is sent at the time of first visit to a new customer and he is not accompanied by a trained sales person who can answer in a proper way the questions put by the customer?

              Please send me the reply on my E mail address. Especially answer my query as regards the location of the office and give me the name of the contact person there.

              I have purchased a Tata Sky connection in Ajmer on 09/07/09 for my farmhouse and was told it would be installed the same evening/day. It is approximately 48 hours and the same has not been complied with. Engineers are permanently unavailable and do not pick up their cell phones when contacted. My new ID No. is [protected]. And I am already a Tata Sky subcriber with three connections in my town house. And I thought TATA SKY was one of the best dth providers in India well !! I'm sadly mistaken it seems.               As i was outside of my home town i couldn't recharge last week so i recharge my account yester @ night but its not started yet in fact my digicom is on. So tell me what's the matter that even though it's more than 15 passed away but i'm not getting services even at the same time you'll charge me for both the day. Today any how i want my Tatasky turned on. As per your norms you'll deduct 3 days gress period from my current recharge not more than that if i'm not getting services from you end.

I called up customer care and infromed well in advance about my relocation I shifted my house and i was waiting..waiting and waiting..till now nobody came to my place. I made around 30calls to tatasky customer care but they kept on telling "it will be done by today" and at the end of day they used to tell "the engg re-scheduled"..and story repeats everyt-day. There is a BIG gap in comm between customer & engg department due to which customers are having bad time.

              I HAVE A MULTIPLE COMPLAINT ABOUT YOUR (21st CENTURY TV SERVICE)..!!!
              Firstly..I watch English channels, mainly movies...most if not all have been edited so much you cannot follow the story line...you bleep out what you think are offensive words, but you leave the worst in..then you run MINDLESS commercial breaks that repeat over and over again (sometimes up to six times ) in one commercial break...when the movie comes to the end you dont just roll the credits you have a useless commercial break first (for ten minutes) ..then you roll the credits...also during the Movie, or program you have stupid pop ups telling you of other programs...which in turn makes it impossible to read the subtitles..and enjoy the film.
              Please tell me what sort of audience you are trying to attract...because it appears to me you are targeting people with a lower intelegence than monkeys.
              I reccomend you get rid of your program scheduler..and give the job to any Five year old child..I think then we may be able to watch interesting television...and not the mindless garbage you are now transmitting...
              TATA. is a very good company I believe, but you are losing the plot, and business to other companies...Please Credit the Indian people with the inteligence they deserve, and get your act together...

              This is to inform you in writing that i made recharge of Rs500/- my TATA sky connection sub id-[protected] on 08/11/2009 at 1208Hrs, the connection was working okie for two days but suddenly on11/11/2009 at 1400Hrs it stops working.
              I kept waiting that it might start working after sometime, whennothing turned up i called up at cutomer care at 2252Hrs on11/11/2009 to ask whats the problem at their end & to make it resolve even though the office in mumbai & i called from bharuch on STD just for connection that cost to customer.
              After doing a number of times things on channel, the cutomer care engineer (Mr Mohsin) said u need help of engineer & 350/- charge has to bear by customer due to rectify the problem. I don't understand when i have paid the recharge money the services lies to TATA sky, & it should be resolved within time by them as they have taken money for the same.
              Till now 1530Hrs on 12/11/2009 my TATA sky not working. Please stop harassing your customers, if signal quality strength is not coming is it customer fault. no one can come & touch my dish or any other related things related connection, which was installed by TATA sky engineer then why should i pay for the same to rectify as i have paid once for the same, kindly make it rectify & increased my one day recharge otherwise i have file a case in consumer court for the same.

              My ID is [protected]. I had my connection installed in Aug 2009. The installation was dpne late in evening and the technician who came decided to locate the dish in the balcony, though I requested him to locate it on the terrace (I stay on the 7th floor of a nine storey building. There were frequent loss of signal and signal strength/quality used to fluctuate between 70-100%. Frequently there was complete loss of picture at slightest hint of a storm or rainfall.
              On 2.12.09 the picture disappeared completely and was brought to notice of Tatasky dealer M/s Experience Zone when I went to recharge my account.Despite mumerous complaints there was no response and finally on 8.12.09 I went personally to the dealer at 2000 hrs. the dealer was leaving along with a technician to install anew connection but assured me that action would be taken the same day. The tecnician came at 2130 hrs and decided to shift dish to roof top as I had suggested in the begining. Shifting was completed within 30 minutes. Yhe signal quality has since been between 50-70% and being explained as heavy load on connections.
              Next day a SMS was received at 3.34PM that my request had been registered vide WO No-[protected]. It was immediately followed by another SMS received at 3.38 PM that the workorder has been scheduled at 3.50 PM. Without anyone visiting me during this time a 3rd SMS was received at 3.53 informing that it was a pleasure to serve me and asking for my feedback. After receipt of this SMS I had immediately replied that no complaint had been lodged and no engineer had visited me.
              UI had been subsequently debited 300 INR for relocation which I had been forced to pay under threat of deactivation.
              Shifting of dish due to poor technical assessment of the technician can in no way be construed as relocation and customer cannot be made liable to pay for same. Moreover no workorder was produced or got signed in token of relocation.
              The amount of 350 INR along with charges on account of absence of service from 2.12.09 to 8.12.2009 may be immediately debited to my account to avoid litigation in Consumer Court

              Aftr an hr latr the picture got strucked and again i called to SE1. He said dont book a cmplnt, i wil cme and fix ur prblem. I awaited him for 2 days, but he didnt cme to my hme.
              Again I booked a cmpnt on Tuesday evening and cust serv team said, SE wil attend within 24hrs.
              SE2-[protected] came around 1.30pm on wednesday & he said problem with card not digicomp & evening he changed the card.
              Again same problem(after 1 hr the picture got strucked) occured & i booked a cmplnt on wednesday night. the customr team said, SE will come on Thursday morning at 10am.
              Then took half day leave & waited for him but none came. Again i cald customer care at 10.30 am & he said, within an hr he wil come. I received a call frm SE3-[protected] at 11am & he said he will come within 0.5hr but he didn't come upto 1.15 pm.I got irritated & left for office.
              Then i received a call from SE3 at 1.25 pm & said he has come.
              My 0.5day leave got wasted and my digicomp prblm didn't resolved. So i dont want to continue your service. Pls disconnect the service ASAP.

              I've a similar experience myself. I stay at kandiwali charkope sector 8. I purchased there STB on 30th Dec before 1pm. (I was told by the sales guys that if i purchased it before afternoon, it will be installed the same day) But mine was not installed the same day, i was first given the installation time as 11:30 Hrs, then 14:25 hrs then 17:00 hrs and finally the engineers came at 18:20 hrs. whereas had speciafically told not after 18:00 hrs as there is mosqito problem in my area.
              Now after the engineer came he just asked where can he fix the dish antena. And after fixing the Antena on the exterior wall of my living room, he drilled a hole at the base of the same wall to get the cable inside. After getting the cabel inside he fixed the wire at the bottom of my interior walls with nail ties taking it up to my tv set. After finishing this work he requested a 10min break to get a charger as his cell battery is low, i agreed forgeting that these guys are never to be trusted. The engineer came back after full 1 hour at 20:40hrs. In between these time i called him twice, his cell phone did ring but he disconnected my call and later on switched it off.
              Now after comming back all of a suddend he says he cannot give a connection for the installed antenna as there is a common antenna at the Bldg. terrace. And it seems TataSky has a policy saying where there is MDU (Multi dweling unit) installed, there they do not provide a seprate antenna.
              The engineer and the customer care all they could do was just say sorry that it was not inspected first, before reuining my interior walls looks by fixing the cables. Also it is very funny to know that they do not have any database wherein which blgd is MDU. (as told by Customer care)
              Note the installation (which is actually only finding my connection from the society's spliter connection) was completed at 23:15 hrs.
              I want to know who will pay for the damages i will face to cover the drill and nail tie patches and not to mention the mental trauma i am goin thru looking at my interior daily.

              Tata sky call centers are the worst call centres ever. the people hardly respond and whenever they do, they take you for a ride. A recent thing that happned to us was we wanted a new tata sky connection so we called the customer care and they took all our details and then diverted us to some other person. That person stated himself as praful chuahan and told us to take a new connection only through are credit card saying that will get us a better scheme and that we would get the delivery within 48 hours. So we proceeded with the transaction and waited for 48 hours. And after 48 hours when we still dint get the delivery we called the customer care again to enquire about this and these people told us that there is no such scheme. So we were furious and when we enquired further they just apologised and told us to wait for another 7 days. So we were really fed up and called the compalints department and the so called "professional" took us for a ride by saying that 48 hours meant 4 days bcause they only worked for 8 hours, Now please tell me who was this person trying to fool??? and is this what professionalism means?? and what is wrong with the ever reputed Tata group?? I have tried all options, more than 25 to 30 calls, including a call to Mr Suresh of Tata Sky Blore office Area Engineer in charge of my new locality and so far, I have no sight or sound of any Tata Technician coming over to my place to re-wire my DTH connection.

              Is this the kind of service that TATAs are known for... then god save the country and the DTH. Even after logging in a complaint on their website and getting htimeline of 24th Feb 11 12 pm for resolution, there dois complete silence. The so called HELP LINE seems to be a HELPLESS line.

              Can someone advise me what to do ir M? Sure enough, I am going to write to their Mumbai office, but what kind of Service center are these people running. Call them for a new connection and they come running...same day service... is more than assured. But for relocation and repair, nothing. Why should I pay for the number of days I have not had any viewing.

              I am a tata sky user and my ID No. is [protected]. I recently moved from Dwarka, New Delhi to Greater Noida. Before shifting I contacted my area serice provider that how should I go about it. I was told that when I am ready to shift I should call their help line numbers. Thats where my problem started. I have been contacting several times a day from 24 Feb and was told that they have a request for relocation and they would send their engineer in the after noon. Today it is 2 Mar, nobody has come so far.

              Knowing about Tata s name and services, you would never have second thoughts for their quality and commitments. I am really surprised that I have calling at least 20 times a day and every time I was the engineer would definately be there in two hours. Nothing has happened so far. I received an sms and the WO No. 1-[protected], telephone No. [protected] that the visits has been scheduled for 28 Feb at 1600 hours. Inspite of my numberious remainders, nothing has happened so. Every time I called I was that the engineer would be there in two hours. Now when I call, I have just to hear the we are busy with another customer, please try later.

              I wish if some senior or responsible official reads my and may do the needful. I am a cricket fan and missing all the fun. I have been staying in the hope that the engineer may come any time.


              While I am writing this complaint I am told some one should be coming in an hours time to fix our problem. One more interesting thing that our entire apartments are for tata sky fittings. What a pity

                on 16/11/10, i recharged my tatasky id [protected] for two different amounts Rs.150(Trans Id[protected]and Rs. 200 (Trans Id[protected] totalling Rs.350 through SBI freedom.Though the said amount has been deducted from my saving SBI account and transferred to[protected] but recharge amount has not been credited to my tatasky account and the set is still in in-active mode. as such concerned company may please take necessary action to arrange credit of above amount to my tatasky account.

                    Pathetic customer service. All their associates have been trained to lie,

                    I cancelled my subscription 3 months back and am still waiting for my refund.
                    This in spite of their claim that refunds are done in max 10 days.

                    I have also faced a similar kind of problem, in my case i too made a complaint regarding reception of signal but there was no response from TATA SKY over the phone finnaly after 7 days the engineer came to my place but by then i had myself rectified the problem i told him so but since he had come he insisted to have a look i let him do so he hardly attended the non existent problem for 2min & demanded a fee of Rs350 which i denied he left my place when he was sure that i would not pay but now i have noticed that TATA SKY has deducted the amount from my account which is a breach of contract.Therefore i advice i and all not to buy TATA SKY, since they are big CHEATS.

                      I have purchased Tata Sky connection on 3rd November. I am still waiting for a call from tata sky for installation and setup box. I was assured that installation will be done within 5 days but nothing has been done till date. I have contacted tata sky customer care executives many times and have raised 2-3 requests, but even SLA of these requests have been breached(72 hrs). Every day i get the assurance that it will be done within 2 days but story continues the next day. Its very frustating to call and track for installation each day. My tata sky details are as below:

                        I am a Customer of Tata Sky since 2006. My customer ID is [protected]. Everything was going good untill last month.
                        I faced problem of signal receiving on my set-top box. The message displayed that the set-top box is not receiving the signal. I logged the complain with Tata Sky - Customer Service. They assured that the service engineer will visit us within 24 hrs. But after 3 days, I got a call from some guy who I certainly can not say being an Engineer. Any way, he came and changed the set-top box. I was charged Rs. 350.00 for this job.
                        Actual problem starts after that. After some time, I again faced the same problem of signals. Again I logged the complaint and got the set-top box changed. This time, this set top box was not responding to remot. Again I logged a complaint. Again the set top box got changed and the next day itself, the went fully blank. It is not getting the power.
                        Means, in almost 30 days, I have got 4 set top box changed. Is this is the quality of the set-top box provided by the Tata sky. I checked with some other sources. Then I came to know that the set-top box for which I paid Rs. 350 was not seal packed. It was an old second hand box which was pickedup from some other place with complaint. It was repaired and installed to my house. And every time the set top box was changed, it was not new. Every time it was second hand repaired set top box.
                        Since last 30 days, I have not been able to see the TV programs properly. I had been charged the member ship charge as per my package for this period also.
                        My complaint is if I am not given the service, why should I pay? also, if I am being cheated by the employees of Tata sky, I feel they should be paying for this.

                            A recent episode in installing a second Tata Sky connection at my home has been an eye opener, the way this organization deals with their customers. To start with, the HD set-top box got delivered after one week as against the 4 days committed. Then the technicians come and damage the walls (and according to them this kind of damage to customer property happens!!!). But what is more alarming is that when I refused to sign the work order form wrt installation, they forged my signature and charged me for 34meters of cable (Rs 200) as against the actual length of <14m (Rs50). While I cannot comment if it is an act of vengeance or a practice usually followed by Tata Sky, the fact remains they have stolen from me and damaged my property and despite raising complaints repeatedly, the customer service has not addressed/ escalated the same nor provided me with any customer redressal coordinate.

                              Adaptor of Digicomp given by Tatasky was damaged , and being in warranty period, we asked for its replacement on 8th novemeber, 2010. After 11 requests, our complaint has not been entertained till today i.e. 13 nov. 2010.

                              We have called so 11 times since that day, spent more than 300 rs. on making a call and talking to customer care of TATAT SKY.

                              We want an immediate service and replacement for adapter and want Tata Sky to refund the money spent on call, else we are going to complain against tatasky in Consumer court.

                                  On 03/11/2010 I bought another Add-On connection(No 1-[protected]) for My parents through your direct Telephonic Executives by making payment of Rs 999/- through Credit Card.

                                  Till the day I have not recived the connection at my home irrespective of the fact that I have clearly told your telephonic representative that I need that connection installed before 5th as this connection is a gift to my parents on the eve of Dewali and he assured me of Installation within 48 Hours.

                                  Today it is 10th, 7 days has gone by and There is no Installation at my place.

                                  It will not be out of place to mention here that on 8/11/2010 I have a registered a complaint(Complaint No 1-[protected]) at u'r helpline Nos.
                                  Kindly Inform me:-
                                  1. Why a complaint not be made to Consumer Grevience cell at District level regarding Fraud.

                                  I noticed that while the installation of the same, your executives had charged me Rs. 200 for extra wire, even after charging Rs. 500 as installation charges whereas the distance of the new connection is less than the existing ones.
                                  Then why should i be charged extra? I was not even informed of the extra money to be charges. They just debited my account.

                                  I have booked TataSky on mobile on 24th Nov.2008 at Evening 8.00 pm and was talking to Mr. Surendra Javalkar.

                                  I Booked for Super Pack 260 / months, 13 months free subscription (Rs. 3, 999 at one time), 4 months free edu. Gold pack and life style gold pack.

                                  He described me everything and on his suggestions I booked TataSky for Rs.3999/00 on 6 months EMI without processing fee and without any charges, he say only Rs. 3999/- to pay in 6 equal installment.

                                  My first problem is till this moment (2nd Dec.2008 now) I have not received my Hardware (digicom + Dish etc), in spite of repeated phone calls from Mumbai to Pune (STD Calls). (payment for Rs. 3999 already shown on icici credit card and its due on 10th Dec. 2008)

                                  My 2nd Problem is, as suggested by Mr. Surendra Javalkar I insist for 6 months EMI but as informed by my ICICI Cr. Card department on my call to them this transaction has been done under regular basis and not on EMI. And next month I have to pay Rs.3, 999/- to ICICI Cr. Card. So where is EMI for me and facility of paying 6 months in equal EMI?

                                  I phoned to following persons every day from 25th :

                                  2nd Ms. Sindhu Ref. No. 1-[protected] on 26th Nov.

                                  on my phone call on 11.25 am 01.12.2008 Mr. Rahul suppose to give me call for final status Last night (01.12.2008), but there is not call till this time i.e. 2nd Dec. 2008 morning 20.30

                                  From speaking to above lady/gentlemen I realized that they are helpless to tell me when should I get my hardware. they are just pupet.

                                  My question; is this the TataSky Reputation?

                                  Sir, please confirm how will I get EMI facility and when should I get my hardware? As I trusted TataSky and discontinue my local cable from 24th Nov. only. And today I am in dark.

                                  i purchase tata sky+ from its customer care center .at the time of inquiry they told me that ,it is proving HD transmission and all Hindi English channels u will be getting in 275 pm package.since, this was in budget i went for it made payment of 5999 immediately through credit card.but after installation they r telling me they don't have H D TRANSMISSION AT ALL.and for Hindi channel like color plus and ndtv imagine and for sports channel you have to go for add on package which is going to be nearly 500 pm.i was surprised asked them to return money and take their box back.instead giving a what they promised they r telling me that sorry they don't have and my feedback will taken care of.what about my problem.for they r offering me a showcase free.is there anything that can be done against this. i received an sms to recharge my account where as i was suppose to get one month free subscription because i did payment through credit card.

                                  Unfortunately we are using your Tata sky, because last 25 days we unable to get your tatasky signal, We have already sent you the sms worth rs 3/- from my registered mobile.

                                  If there are no any signal from your side, this is not our mistake. For signal detection, one man is coming from your end, but they are charged 350/- which is very ridiculous.

                                  We already try to call to your call center, but they are not attending our call. We are calling from our mobile, after 15 minutes, we unable to talk with your company executive.

                                  There are no any call center in mumbai also. Once we had talk with your company executive, but lake of voice breaking call has been disconnected. But they are not able to call again for the resolve the problem.

                                  We are facing so many problem with 'your' tata sky. We are not trust on you.

                                  I am one of the old customers of Tata Sky and I have Tata Sky+.

                                  I already have Annual Subscription for Super Saver Package and Annual Subscription to Life Style Gold Package.

                                  You have just launched TruPackages and I wanted to avail this.

                                  But when I spoke to your customer care executive, he said, "To avail this facility you will have to forfeit your Annual Subscription for Super Saver package".

                                  I have the validity till May,2011 and if I wish to avail TruPackages then I will loose atleast 1.5K.

                                  This is not at all fair to the old customers.

                                  When TataSky launches any new service they must pass on the benefits to old customers first.

                                  In the cooperate world, everyone cares about their loyal customers, seems, TataSky is an exception.

                                  Tata sky connection not working since 20/10/2010. We lodged various complaints at [protected] despite their assurances no one has turned up to get the connection working till date.
                                  Very much true. On 5th November on the Eve of Diwali i bought TATA SKY, they Told Like as next two days are Holidays we will install it on Monday, i Said Okay, None of them Contacted me and I was keep on calling them they were telling same old stories again and again, that our concerned Department will give a call and will do the setup in your home. they have done on Monday and Tuesday at last i got fedup with the Service that they are providing and i asked them to cancel my Account. with in Seconds they will take the money from us and for providing the service they will bother us like any thing. and for refunding the money they are taking 10-12 working days ( it sounds little bit funny ... Even some sites like IRCTC etc., they are taking 2 days whether it is working day or some other day, they are transfering the money to our Account ). I spoke with few people when we tell our problem they were laughing and giving Answers, they don't know what is manners also. My Suggestion is not to go for TATA SKY.

                                  I have all my sympathy with you and don't worry you are not the only one to face this issue. I am facing the same problem from last one month.

                                  3 complaints, 3 boxes were replaced, they charged me for the new box and gave me a repaired one.

                                  and the repaired one's are not working either.

                                  best is to throw the box out of the window and look for some other genuine service provider.

                                  Tata Sky HD + — No installation

                                  I bought tata sky connection on 8th june and i was told that my connection will happen in 48 hrs which never happened i complaint several times... then on 10th june the engineer called me and told me that i am scheduled to come today then he called and said i cant come i have 4 connections to complete ...i told him i waited for 5 days and you give me in writing you cant come i will get my refund he misbeheaved with me on the phone and said what you want to do go do it i am not coming today his name was MR Yadav ...i took so many off from my office but they were not interested in coming then next day he came and he entered and said it is not possible to fix dish in your house ...we had our own compass we checked from our kitchen we were getting South East direction but he did not check with his apparatus neither tried installing we told him you install even if it does nt come we dont care about the money we shall pay you but he said mam go and refund as if he was not interested in selling tata sky...after that i have innumerable number of times called but nothing happened...

                                  Dear Jury,

                                  I am a subscriber of Tata Sky(Cust Id : [protected]) since 2008 and has been actively using their services since then. Recently I got transferred from Ahmedabad to Kolkata. Thus I have requested Tata Sky authority for relocation which they have obliged and unistall the DTH from my Ahmedabad's multi storey residence. But the engineer who came to uninstall, said our connection is MDU and no dish would be given to us and so he just returned few meters of cable & Set Top Box.

                                  Now when I have raised an request to reinstall, company asked me to pay Rs 500 extra for Dish, for which I have already paid during first installation at Ahmedabad, on my objection, they agreed too that it would be debited from your account but after installation(reinstallation happened on 21st June2011) if you call us we will credit this Rs. 500 back to your account. I have been trying to call them incessantly but no one has replied me back since 28th of June'2011.

                                  I am feeling cheated by Tata Sky as they wanted me to pay Rs 1900 for Reinstalltion and after that they have simply eloped as i have paid for annual subscription. All my talks are recorded in their call centre.

                                  Seek your intervention for fast redressal.

                                  I made a order for a Tata Sky HD Set Top Box on 11th november, 2012 with mobile no. [protected] and I was given ID 1-[protected]. I was told to pay Rs. 2709 for it with two month of free subscription. My order was forwarded to Harbansh Singh Enterprises, Syed Nangloi. In the evening the staff, Sh. Kuldeep with ID: CO10292 came to my house to install the same. After installation they demanded Rs. 3081 without any receipt and that too only for one month of free subscription. We made them talk to the customer care. They asked them to receive only Rs. 2709 for two months of free subscription. But the staff from Harbansh Singh Enterprises refused them to install the set top box on that rate and went away taking their system. When I called the CCEO, Sh. Kundan of Harbansh Singh Enterprises for the problem he again asked me to pay the same money as demanded by their staff. I have complained about the matter to the customer care many times but that too for no result. Still I have not be given the connection.

                                  Please look into the matter and take some necessary steps as early as possible.

                                  Pathetic service at the time of booking> experienced this twice. Money has been debited from my account n tata sky call center people tell you that they have not recvd any money. Tata sky plays with people's time money n emotions . Pathetic is the word.
                                  I am a customer of Tata Sky from 2011. I found Tata Sky is the most expensive D2H service available in the market. The minimum recharge packet is highest among all the D2H services whereas the number of channels given by Tata Sky is the least. If you are proceeding for leave and want to deactivate the service for your leave period which is only once in a year is chargeable Rs 20/ whereas no other D2H service like Videocon, Airtel, Dish TV, Sun Direct etc charge for this. I will sugest, no one to purchage TATA Sky.

                                    I have purchased Tata Sky Digicomp through HDFC reward points. Since last 2 month I have experiance problem in Tata Sky set-top box, after long follow-up it was replaced 2 times. Last time it was replaced on 5th Nov 2010 and replacement was again a faulty box. I am logging complaints and following for replcemen of the same since last five days.
                                    Yesterday I spoke to Tata Sky helpline and I was told that they do not have spare Tata Sky digi comp to replace fault box. I have to wait for another 2-3 days (no deadline).

                                    Please help me to get services and it is really frustrating to follow-up all the time.

                                    Showing Aamir khan on Tv Ad will not help company to boost sales. It is services which makes differance.

                                    I lodged complaint with Tata Sky on its Customer Care No. yesterday i.e. April 07, 2011 and described that the Digicomp purchased by me is giving problem from the first day of purchase. Its lights go off and on usually. And now there is no light in the digicomp. The said complaint had been lodged at Tata Sky’s Chandigarh Office. After registration of the complaint I got message from TD-TataSky as: Dear Customer, Your WO Number: 1-[protected] request has been scheduled at[protected]:59. Thank you. And today at[protected] one Customer Care executive of Tata Sky called from[protected] at 02:50 PM and enquired the matter from me. I told about the Digicomp problem. She told that I shall look in to the matter. But no one responded afterwards. She gave me assurance that the Engineer will be deputed shortly to check the Digicomp. The timeline fixed by the Tata Sky has passed by and there is no sight or sound of Tata Sky Technician.

                                    Poor customer Service A bad name to TATA. Kindly consider the following points:

                                    It is Tata Sky’s DEFICIENCY IN SERVICE.
                                    THE COMPLAINT SHOULD BE ENTERTAINED WITHIN THE TIME LIMIT.
                                    The controlling authority has no control over the Service Engineers.
                                    False promises are being made by the Executives of Tata Sky.
                                    Kindly get the needful done at the earliest to avoid further litigation in the matter.

                                    "Act no. 62 of 2002 seeks to amend Section 14 to empower the District Forum if it is satisfied that the allegations contained in the complaint are proved, also to issue orders directing the opposite party, inter alia, to pay punitive damages, cease manufacture of hazardous goods and desist from offering services which are hazardous in nature, pay such sum not less than five per cent, of the value of defective goods sold or services provided where loss or injury has been suffered by a large number of consumers who are not conveniently identifiable"
                                    The service engineer installed second hand a very rough condition Digicomp at the consumer place with exchange of consumer's digicomp. When the consumer objected the engineer said that we provide replacement of old digicomps, your digicomp will be repaired and we shall install it to the other consumer. What a great service TATA SKY is providing to its consumers.
                                    Kindly don't dodge consumers. When the consumer has agreed to pay Rs 350/= as per the demand from Tata Sky. Then why Tata Sky is playing gimmicks by installing second hand and repaired digicomp and charge for new one in lieu of replacement.
                                    As Service Engineer says that Tata Sky don't provide New Digicomp for replacement and so you will have to lodge your request with the consumer care executive. The said digicomp will be supplied from Bangalore/ Mumbai office and it will take more than one month to reach to our destination if it is the quickest response otherwise it may take say more than six months.
                                    What a great company Tata Sky and What a great After Sales Service?
                                    If TATA Sky failed to replace my Digicomp within three days i.e. up to 11th of April and refund the money charged from the consumer due to deficiency in Service. Then the consumer will be constrained to file the complaint before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kapurthala for redressal of grievances and will demand compensation for the mental and physical harassment and deficiency in Service.

                                    Tatasky has been cheating and is kind of fooling customers. On 13th July I raised a service request that my SET TOP box is not working, the engineer came and replaced the box (This was someone elses reparied box), this box the very next day stopped working, post that again some one came and replaced the box (again someone elses reparied box)... this has been going on since then and now again the same issue.... in 1 month see the no. of complaints and they just provide the so called refurbished box. When called thier customer center they say as per thier policy they cannot provide new one (WHY?)... They should publish this on thier website.

                                    Also I have been speaking to different people today almost 10-12 calls and there has been no response, even when I am asking to cancel all the subscription.

                                    Thier leads Mr Nandan, and Managers Inderpreet from Noida promises that I will get a call in 1-2 hours but the day is over and no call.

                                    This is utter nonsense and these 2 days when I am not able to see TV or the previous request I am still being chargewd for usage on those days.

                                      Its an Awful Experience with the TATA SKY People. I took a new connection on November 5th 2010. and I made a payment of RS. 2844 ( One Year subscription + 999 ) on that day it self, they told me like by Monday u can expect a TATA SKY installed in your home. I gave a call so many times and they were always telling like our Senior executive will talk to you. few of the persons i spoke they were laughing and giving answers, thats really ridiculous.first of all they have to know how they have to talk to the customer when they are asking any questions, this is how the customer center is. When ever i Call to them they were very reluctant to give Answers and for every thing they were telling like concerned department will talk to you sir. when we ask when can i expect the call, they will say without any doubt in two hours they will definitely call you, if you wait for two days also they won't call , that much lazy people are working in TATA SKY.

                                      I do not know how these people are working in corporate company.there is no Co ordination between the teams, one team will say one thing at one time, other time some thing, but everybody will tell one thing same ... "Our concern Department will give a call back in 2 hours sir. and they will tell you when they are going to install the machine sir." Very worst experence and Awful experince i had with TATA SKY. Because of TATA name i preferred to take .. but now its a Lesson for me not to take any TATA Products.

                                      there is no bloody response from any of your tata sky associates. i have launched a complaint 10 days back and still no one has come. if i am calling on no.60006633 they tell me to call some other number and there no one is picking up. this has been happening from past 10 days. now what should i do??

                                        i have purchased LG LCD from Kohinoor, they gave me tatasky Coupon free. For the installation i have to sms them. I smsed them on 3rd Nov. 2010. i got their reply that my request has been registered and they will call me in 4 hours. they didnt call me. after 5 hours i called them on[protected]. they told me that my request has been forwarded again. now i will get a call..., but i didnt get it again. i tried calling them again n again. On 6th Nov. Mr. Sandeep (executive from tatasky helpline no) told me that i will get the installation done today itself by around 8pm. after around 1 hours i got a call from mr. Vijay (again from their costomer care no.[protected] saying that sir you have to sms once again. and after that u will got a call from ourside. i smsed them again. but no call was received from their side. i again called them in the evening, i spoke to mr. Amit (from senior desk), he assured me that i will get a connection in between 24-48 hours. i again didnt get any call or any hardware from their side. i again called them yesterday, i spoke to mr. Neel (Team Leader), he also assured me..., i told him that i want to talk to ur seniors and i want to complaint against all the executives i have been talking to..., he transferred the call to ms. Reshma (supervisor). She didnt do anything..., phone got disconnected..., i again called them... then i spoke to mr Sayiad, who spoke to the area engineer directly n assured me that i will get the connection by today 12pm. but no engineer has come till now... now i am calling again n again... they are not coming on the line...
                                        it is so frustrating.... They are behaving as if they are doing some favour to me....

                                        I have purchased LG, LCD on the Diwali Day on 05 Nov 2010. I got a coupon of TAT Sky for free installation. Accordingly I have sent SMS to 56633 as directed on the Activation Coupon. We got a response that their concerned Department will contact with me withinn 4 working hours but till date no response of the contact persons received despite repeated messages sent to TATA Sky. Please advise me how I have to complaint and get the TATA Sky installed immediatley.
