RE: - Dissatisfactory service during installation of Tata sky
Dear Sir,
I would like to inform you of my dissatisfaction with regards to the purchase of the Tata sky DTH product and the subsequent installation service.
On date, 15th November, 2010, I purchased a Tata sky DTH unit for Rs 1200/-, which include the recharge cost, from m/s Jeevan radio house (Add: - Main road, Taluka- Srirampur, district- Ahmednagar – 413709).
Unfortunately, both, the installation service performed and the behavior of the seller was disappointing and unexpected. I was told, rather rudely, to get my own ID no. for recharging the DTH monthly service, in spite of paying Rs 200/- upfront for the same. The unit was not functioning for almost 5 days after the purchase. I was also asked to switch on the television for the entire duration until the service was started. This resulted in my television being switched on for almost 30 hours over a period of 5 days. Calls went unanswered and repeated attempts to contact the dealer were futile.
Finally after 5 days of continuous attempts and influencing the dealer, I somehow managed to get the service started on the 19th of November 2010.
I’ve had a harrowing experience during those three days and this has seriously has cast a doubt in my mind about the brand value and promise of a product like Tata sky.
I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem, and will allow myself 10 days before seeking help from a consumer protection agency
I possess all the original documents including the bill of transaction, the installation copy and the warranty card.

DEAR SIR,
I am a customer of Tata Sky Service in Kolkata. I purchased my Tata Sky
from electronic shop, near new alipore, kolkata, west bengal
and I lunched a complaint on 21/10/2011 & 27/10/2011 in evening time by mobile phone. complaint that my set top box in not working” at Tata sky customer care. Since then they are giving me assurity that they will solve my problem well the same evening.
And still the Tata sky customer care are
not responding me.
I need to launch a complaint against the District office of Tata sky for not solving the problem and harassing me continually.
Please help us out..
