I purchased a TATA Swach Water purifies on 16th May 2010 from Rakesh Bhandi Bhandar, from Bazarpeth, Bhiwandi.... After 15 to 18 days there is black water coming from the BULB of purifier... I placed complaint to dealer and dealer forwarded my complaint to Service person but till now my complaint is not resolved, so i called on companies toll free no. the lady gave me a landline no. after dialling landline no. thay gave me a mobile no. [protected](Mr. Swaroop). I called him 2 times but till now he is not resolve my complaint.... Dont purchase TATA Swach......!!!!!!! To avoid suffering of bad uses & service also....!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a totally different experience of customer service from Tata Swach. Initially I faced a problem of the filter not working. I called the call centre and they mademe do a lot of things and tried explaining the things. Still the water wont flow. I was suggested to send mail on the official id of the tata swach company. I received immediate response and my complaint was also attended in 3 days
Maybe your hard luck buddy!
I purchased a TATA Swach Water purifies on some day before.. After some days there is not water coming from the BULB of purifier... I placed complaint to dealer and dealer forwarded my complaint to Service person (mr umesh) i called mr umesh and iplaced comlain but till now my complaint is not resolved, ...!!! from vasdev sahajwani advocate my email id [protected]@yahoo.in

    I had purchased TATA Swach water filter. The product is defective, fungus deposition starts in filter bulb. Complaint was attended by technician -[protected] but more than 45 days have passed & they have not rectified the defect.

    There is no mecahnism set by TATA Chemicals to register complaint & track them. Customers are suffering due to defective product & poor customer service.

      The bulb of the Tata Swatch has gone , within 15 days , We are very surpised and also your service centre says that they do not have any bulb,

        Sir please reply for the followng immediately matter is extremely urgent and very important

        COMPLAINT & RFUND CLAIM ON TATA SWACH FILTER.
        THROGUH ELECTRONIC TRANSMSSION.

        THIS IS TO INFORM THAT THE UNDER MENTIONED, HAS PURCHASED ONE NO TATA SWACH FILTER UNIT (9+9 LTR CAP.) ON 11-5-10, VIDE BILL.NO. 189, CASH PAID RS.999-00 THROUGH TATA NOMINATED DEALER NAMELY R K HOME APPLIANCES IN T DASARAHALLI BANGALORE.TEL.NO.[protected] MR. RAKESH. - SALES MEN.

        IT IS SEEN THAT THE SAID FILTER IS NOT DOING ITS INTENDED PUROSE ( IT SUPPOSE TO FILTER THE WATER, IT IS SEEN THAT THE WATER IS COMING OUT IN A FEW DROP LETS, IT TAKES 3-4 HOURS IN FILLING THE BOTTOM 9 LTR. CONTAINER) AND ALSO THE RED POINTER IS NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BULB UNIT, IT IS CLOSE TO BOTTOM RED BUTTON, IT IS APPREHENDED THAT THE BULB MAY NOT SERVE 3000 LITERS AS GUARANTEED IN THE CATALOUGE.

        AS IAM NOT SATISFIED WITH THE PERFORMANCE, I WAS COMPLAINED TO THE DEALER, WHO IS TOTALLY UNWARE OF ANY REPAIR DETAILS OF IT, INSTEAD HE GAVE LAME REPLIES AND ASKED ME TO CALL TATA SERVICE CENTER ON THE TOLL FREE NO[protected],IT IS SEEN THAT THE TEL. NO IS NOT FUNCTIONING. I WAS GIVEN ANOTHER LOCAL NOS,[protected], [protected], I SPOKE TO YOUR MR. PRAVEEN AND SUNIL, THEY ASSURED THAT THEY WILL SEND SERVICE ENGINEER TO THE DEALER AND I WAS ASKED TO DELIVER THE FILTER UNIT TO THE DEALER, I CARRIED THE SAME TO DEALER at 9 AM ON 13/5/10, BUT THE DEALER INSISTED TO COME AGAIN AT 12 NOON, I WENT AGAIN, HE PHISICALLY INSPECTED THE FILTER AND SAID THAT, HE WILL ASK TATA ENGINEER TO RECTIFY IT, HE REFUSED TO KEEP THE FILTER UNIT WITH HIM, HE ASKED ME TO CARRY IT TO MY HOUSE, SO THAT HE WILL SEND THE ENGINEER TO MY HOUSE, HE MR. RAKESH SALES MEN IN RK HOME APPLIANCES TOOK MY ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NOS.[protected]. [protected]

        EVEN AFTER 2 DAYS NO BODY HAS COME TO ATTEND TO THIS PROBLEM, I MADE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS, ALL MY CALLS LEFT UN-ANSWERED.BUT ON 4RD DAY OF 14/5/10TH EVENING AT 5 PM, DEALER INFORMED THAT TATA SERVICE ENGINEER HAS, HE WILL NOT COME TO MY HOUSE, ASKED ME TO CARRY THE UNIT FOR HIS INSPECTION. TAT SERVICE TECHNICIAN HAS PHSICALLY INSPECTED THE FILTER UNIT AND SAID THAT THE RED POINTER POSITION IS APPROPRIATE AND THE BULB FUNCTIONING IS ALSO CORRECT. HE SAID THAT THE UNIT SHALL FUNCTION SLOWLY AND THE WATER COLLECTION SHALL TAKE 3-4 HOURS, ACCORDING TO HIM THE UNIT IS ALRIGHT, BUT I REFUSED TO ACCEPT HIS REMARKS/OBSERVATIONS AND TOTALLY DIS-SATISFIED WITH THE CAPTIONED FILTER UNIT. I CONTENDED THAT THIS SHOULD BE A FAST FILTERING UNIT WITHIN 15-20 MINUTES TO FILL WATER IN THE CONTAINER, BUT THIS UNIT IS FAILING TO SERVE THE SAME. SO I AM NOT USING THE FILTER AND KEPT THE SAME ASIDE.

        FOR THE REASONS EXPLAINED ABOVE I INTEND TO RETURN THE UNIT, PLEASE ARRANGE FOR REFUND OF RS.999/- WITH IMMEDIATE EFECT.

        I Chandrakant Thakur purchased Tata swach purifire last month. Earler it was giving good performance but after 15 days water is not comming in lower jar. I cleaned all the mesh so many time and also put to the bulb in bucket full of water but still there is no improvement. I request you to please let me know what to do. Is it necessary to replace the bulb?

        I echo the same. Cleaned all meshes, but water is coming into the lower jar is in the form of droplets only and its taking ages to fill the jar with pure water. Not sure how did TATAs launched it without even verifying the product for quality.

        I have purchased the product from TATA's very own shop 'Chroma-Thane, R-Mall, G.B. Road, 400607 and never expected such thing. I must say this is very big disappointing thing to be expected from TATAs.

        I hope TATA Swach Service Team will take this issue to higher level and pro-actively provide the resolution for the same.

        I am one of your TATA SWACH customer & purchased the unit before 4 months at an outlet in yeswanthpur, bangalore(M/s.Jayalakshmi industries).



        In the first installation itself, it was not working properly & water leaked in all sides… I had to make 3 to 4 attempts to resolve the issue.

        Again after 4months, when water purifying bulb doesn’t dry full, filtering water stopped entirely. I went up to change the bulb by paying Rs.300/- & even after changing the bulb water is not flowing inside to the bottom. I had returned it at the outlet for repair & had to wait around 10 to get it replaced.



        But, the shocking experience again is still the problem not resolved & I couldn’t use the purifier even single percentage.



        Pls note that, I have a kid of 4hrs old & the main purpose of opting for TATA SWACH is the quality that the brand hands on it.

        It is really disappointing experience & Support from TATA SWACH & I couldn’t reach your people through the TOLL FREE NUMBER.

        Now, I keep the unit un-used even after spending Rs.1400/- & experienced enormous mental agony….



        Hope, TATA would address my problem immediately.

        Tata Swach — water is not purifying/filtering

        We purchased a Swach in the month of April 2010, & started using after one month .
        We are facing lot of problems from that date onwards. We changed the battery in the month of Feb. 2011, whoever, we are still facing the problem.
        To day we contacted to your service center on mobile no. [protected] Mr. Shiv kumar. We are sorry to state that he was so bussy that he could not responded for our first 4 calls , later on he said that he was in the meeting & he is not having a service man to attend our complaint & advice to put the complaint on sms.

        We contacted on toll free call, the gentleman adviced us to approach the shop where we purchased the Swach after 2 days from the booking of the complaint.

        I too have faced a lot of mental agony on using TATA SWACH.
        after multiple visits to TATA CROMA, my problem is still not resolved.
        the bulb doesn't filter.
        i have been buying water because there is no other alternative.
        i have been spending Rs.60-70 per day buying water for the last 10 days because TATA SWACH is not working.
        I was so proud of owning TATA SWACH because i thought i made a good decision of buying a purifier at such a reasonable cost.

        but all this pride has turned into disgust now.

        I am totally agree. Worst Filter. I read those blogs before purchasing TATA swach but but i relied on TATA brand. But now i am finding that in my City Pune has lots of lots complaint in TATA swach Filter. TATA swach toll free number never works. Even those who purchased product online, in that case local distributor for service never entertain.

        I strongly recommend new buyers "not to buy" this wastage of money. Better take Some Device which works on reverse osmosis and charcol (carbon) which provides you safe drinking water.

        Since my TATA swach stopped working, till date no body from TATA has contacted me. I email them my address, contact number every thing. No response at all.

        I, Pradeep Kumar, purchased the Tata Swach Unit in Bangalore, half an year ago. After initial couple of months I feel that the unit is not functioning properly and even the indicator present in the bulb is not doing the intended function.

        Purifier emitting harmful chemical

        This is the second instance of tat swatch is not working correctly and cheating people... I will launch a police complaint and consumer court case if its not fixed in 2 days for Certain .
        Hi, I recently purchased tata bulb 3000 ltr, problem is water filtering to fast like running water with light red color, i think is diffectve, pls help to solve the problem
