    Dear sir
    I had purchased tata swach filter in the month of Aug' 12, howere the filter / bulb got jammed within 15-20 days.i purchased 2nd bulb by the dealer after fitting the bulb, we filled the filter with water, not even a single drop of water was droped in the lower storage tank, from before 7 days there is no any drop of water to drink in my home...i phoned many times on toll-free number, my complaint no is 134646.

    I had bought the Tata Swach considering the big brand, & considering that the TATA is pro-consumer, i think i failed my test.

    Now i want to return this product to the tata swach company. otherwise i will through this product in dustbin.

      Tata Swatch

      Dear Sir/Madam

      Subject: Poor Service of Tata Swatch.

      We have bought Tata Swatch Model (Rs 1199/-) on 10 June 2012 from Retailer Chandigarh. As per your advertisement printed on Tata Swatch Cover, that it removes 99.99% viruses from water and it purifies 3000 liter water.

      But this product stopped filtering water on 15 July, 2012, just after 1 month, and we immediately approached to Tata Swatch retailer and he had suggest us to purchase new filter bulb. I was shocked because it has not filtered 3000 liter water as it was printed on advertisement and this was same, we had given an assurance by retailer and as well as Tata Swatch Representative at time of buy.

      There are number of other water filters in market, but we had bought it because, it is a Tata Product, but we don’t know that Tata is also manufacturing cheap category products. We had also learned that you are not only manufacturing cheaper products but you are also cheating peoples by giving false product information through advertisement.

      This is not possible for middle class peoples to bear Rs 350 Per Month for new bulb, This mean we have to spent Rs 4200 per annum for water purification.

      Please therefore this is my humble request to you that please refund my money as soon as possible or otherwise I will forward a request to consumer court for this matter.

        This is regarding My Order_[protected] which i placed on 15th June 2012.I paid total amount of Rs1548/-for "Tata Swach Smart + extra Tata Swach Bulb (Tata Swach+extra tata swach bulb+free extra top mesh)"

        After making the order i have traced my order on 20th june and one of customer care executive told me that your order will be dispatched within 48 hr. but after 48 hr. also my product hasn't reached me so again i have made a complaint on 21th june for which i have given a complaint no(110910) and they also told me that your product will reach you within the day till evening but yesterday i have agin called and make camplaint no 112457 now 29 june but still i m waiting for my product.

        i have talked to one of your senior executive(prashant) and Ali regarding my complaint and he have told me that due to some internal problem/staff problem we won't deliever the product .

        Its been over a 2 week now that i did not receive the product and there is no guarantee that i am ever going to receive the product.


        I have mail to [protected]@tatachemicals.com but not getting any response even after 4 reminder mail.


        Now , i dont trust Tatachemicals and this product any more due very sloppy and dissatisfying response from customer care persons, and i want my money back with bank interest.

        Kindly consider regarding this email...and take urgent action .

          I had purchased a tata swach from Mangalore Karnataka. Within 1 months the bulb stopped working, showing accumulation of black water (the carbon filter must have leaked) resulting in chocking of the filter. We made a complaint to the dealer who refused to even take up the matter and instead directed me to call the tata consumer care cell on [protected]. Could someone please help.
          It happning for me again and again. And none of the delaer in mangalore is having the bulb so that i can replace that also. Even "Tata Swath" online buy is also not working properly.
          Please help me out.

            I had purchased a tata swach from maha laxmi still shop yari road andheri just 3 month before but there is some problem in the bulb which stopped working, showing accumulation of black water..... resulting in chocking of the filter, I buy that product because of the name "TATA", in three months we r change 2 bulb .... what the hell it is ...

              Sir, thanks for not keeping me empty handed because whenever I called your call centre I always got new complaint number but the status of product movement is ……………………..blank.

              I opted for Tata Swach which was my worst decision in past few days. On 31st after decision on Kent Gold, AquaSure and PureIt survey and various reviews, complaints I thought to give Tata Swach a chance as it has brand TATA which promises something good and worthy. But on putting online request for which money was deducted instantly there is no sign of product being delivered. The customer care is one of the worst in India who just don't know atleast how to make excuses. Earlier they were promising to wait for 15 days and today they said it's wrtten in TnC there is no guarantee that product will be delivered in 15 days. This is just pathetic reply by customer care I ever heard. Now after eating money for more than 2 weeks the company is saying they don't guarantee to provide product in x days and hence we are helpless in taking any lawful action or making complaint to them. For me rs 1000 is nothing, Tata might not donate ever to needy, I assumed I donated to 1 of the richest person fooling India. Ratan Tata ji, your Tata Swach team is egg on your face.

              Please beware of Tata Swach and never waste money in buying from online site. I checked old records and found people with order no from Oct 1st are still to get delivery! That makes 58 days. Bravo. Eat all interest in name of "we don't guarantee" of ours.

I have been using Tata swach since a 8-9 months in the 1st month waterpurifier was working fine den there was blockage n water was not getting purified so we cald the technician he sd there is an air blockage n he repaired it but then since that time every month there is a blockage n it takes lot of time to remove the blockage some times we are without drinking water n endup getting bisleri at home. It takes like 30 minutes n sometimes even 1 hour to remove the blockage n yesterday i got so frustrated that i thre away my tata swach purifier n because of this me n my husband had a big fight this tata swach water purifier sucks i guess we are gonna switch to other company n will make sure that my friends n family never buys any tata products

                  I am santosh bhere staying at B-303, vinay building, sankalp, nnp, goregaon (e), mumbai-65.
                  Water was not coming in lower container from the date of purchased.
                  I have complaint five times, still problem was not solved.
                  My last complaint was closed by Mr. satyendra giving the reason that product is out of warranty. How can it possible.
                  I am purchased product in 20 dec 2011 & my last complaint was launched in 9 march 2012.
                  Your service engineer doesn't know simple maths, technical knoledge is far away.

                    I have ordered Tata Swach online from www.tataswach.com for Rs. 1199/- Order number:[protected] Order date: 01 December 2011
                    I have received the product on 8th Dec 2011 and I found that the upper vessel got damaged and the tap was missing in the package. I sent out an email to the customer care email address ( [protected]@tatachemicals.com ) and no response. Next day I called the toll free customer care no. [protected] and they have registered a complaint (reference No. 66682 dated 10/02/2011) and they promise the service within 3 days in Trivandrum by defective goods would be replaced. I didn’t get any service, so I again call the customer care and they asked me to wait for 2 more days.
                    Again in the 6th day I have called again, some things are repeating. (Reference no. 68039 dated 18/02/2011 ). Till now no response.

                    I have purchased the good on 1st Dec 2011, got the damaged product on 8th Dec 2011. Today is 21st Dec 2011, no response from TATA to replace the damaged product.

                        Hi. My name is K. Manoj Kumar from Hyderabad. On the eve of Diwali my company gifted all the employees with Tata Swatch Smart purifier (and a winter coat as optional). I opted Tata Swatch, which within a 20 days time is leaking some Black particles in the bulb leaving the filtered water being grey in color. As i noticed it on 20th November, i kept it a side fearing it may affect our health after consumption. I normally have a very high expectation on Tata and all its products due to its consumer loyalty factor. Here i'm very much dissapointed to see this kind of malfunction in Tata's product. I request concerned officials to look into the issue and reinstate the product at its normal functionality, which means Tata still remains the trusted company.

                        Tata Swach Smart — broken product delivered

                        i ordered a tata swach water filter online and the product was delivered in a broken condition.order no. [protected].despite several complaints requesting either a replacement or delivery the company has only issued several comlaint nos.it is very frustating when such companies have such poor after sales service.date of delivery was 28/2/2013.payment was made through credit card.

                          I purchased Tata Swach Purifier in month of May 2011 and within few days water stopped coming from filter. The Service person came and did some cleaning to it and after that black particles started coming from bulb and again water stopped coming. He demanded charges & told me change this bulb & bring new bulb. Service people are not trained people neither they know how to solve problems. I also talked his senior person & but did not solve any query regarding this complaint. I called customer care also but they gave me time for 24 working hours to resolve the problem.

                          If my problem not resolve in upcoming time so i will go to consumer court regarding this complaint.

                            I ordered 5 Tata Swatch Bulbs with the below details:

                            On 18-Oct-2011, I received the delivery from DTDC, but it just had 1 bulb, while I had made a request for 5 Bulbs.

                            Repeated calls to call centre has just one answer - a complaint has been raised, we will look into the problem, and will call you back within 3 days.
                            On 22-Oct-2011, I raise a complaint through the TataSwach website, and I get a reply on 28-Oct-2011.

                            Dear Sir,
                            We apologize for this mistake in delivery, and we would like to inform you that it’s been already forwarded to concern team and it will be taken care of soon.

                            Till date no updates or calls from anyone. This is ridiculous, I want my Money back. Online order has no value in India. Better purchase from Stores.

                              I bought Tata Swach from Laxmi Nagar New Delhi in Aug'2010, and fitted at home, after some time it start giving trouble water filted very slow, whenever i called customer care they are suggesting some manual things to do like remove uper filter, lower filter and just hit on filter by your hand some bubble may got stuck by doing this it will remove and filter will start working. Then i asked if i removed all the filter and patted it then what the use of filter.

                              Its really patetic to buy Tata Swach, i have really bad experience with it.

                              I have purchased the TATA Swatch Serial No.-[protected] on[protected] , ever since then the water is not drowning to the below container and on contacting the shop keeper , he was not helpful . The toll free no. never gets picked up.

                                My maid has been with my family ever since I can remember. She's loyal and looks after my kids and home well. She has 3 kids of her own and lives in a slum in our locality. Every rainy season I've seen her kids fall ill with diarrhoea without fail due to lack of clean water. This problem is worsened by the water shortages and improper sanitation. Her candle filter does not eliminate germs and boiling water is getting expensive with rising costs.
                                This year for Diwali I have decided to give her a TATA Swach instead of the usual mithai & clothes which I do every year! With no electricity or running water required, it’s a perfect solution for her family. It’s also easy to use and maintain and requires no servicing or additional expense for her.
                                It costs me almost the same but I'm sure will benefit her and her family much much more.

                                  I live in Khadki in Pune and load shedding is a part of life. The number of hours of load shedding changes all the time. After we made inquiries for water purifiers in the market we bought a Tata Swach. Since it needs no electricity and no running water makes it very convenient to use for us. We have been using it for about 7 months now and are very happy with it. Thing I liked most about the Tata Swach was that it was so easy to set up and use. Most water purifiers require complex setting up but with Swach even I could easily do it with the instructions given. It can be kept anywhere and is portable so ease to clean. I have kept it in my kitchen where my old matka used to be and it looks so much better.

                                  I bought it from a local dealer in Mumbai recently. The best thing that i like about Tata Swach is that there is no additional cost for servicing. All I have to do is replace the bulb once in a while and clean it regularly. It is very easy to clean and maintain. It is also eco-friendly and doesn’t use chemicals like chlorine. Economically also it is very viable. I hope this product can help save many lives. Another good product from the Tatas
                                  I live in Katraj - Pune, I have been using TATA SWATCH for a year.
                                  I have experienced its easy set-up, affordable price, Less maintenance(once in 6 months), good customer care service and Clean Water.
                                  The major problem is the Scarcity of its Bulb. There are very less vendors. Also I could not buy online because the website was in maintenance (on 11 July 2013). Overall 4 star.

                                    This is to inform you that I, Dr Pramod, bought TATA Swach Smart on 3rd January in Delhi and On 9th Feburary I complained (TSDL[protected], saying my filter is not working, they promised within 72hrs, an executive (Mr Arshad-[protected] & [protected]) will visit my place, almost 15 days and said that he will replace the Bulb next day but, till now no one has come, and when I call cust care they always said that someone will come to you in next 2 day but nobody came. I called custmer care several times but, they assure me every time & result is same "ZERO".
                                    I have called to local service centre at Delhi[protected] &[protected] and talked to Mr Aamir but no satisfty answer he did, till now i have called there many time but nobody is ready to talk and not resolving my problem even after so long time. If I have to face this problem for little more time, I have to file a case in Consumer Fourm for financial and mental trauma. (Because I have to take leave with out pay on 2 different days for wait your executive visit)
                                    TATA is so famous brand but service is very poor which not suit to this brand.
                                    Kindly take some effective action to solve my complaint., Hoping for prompt & kind reply & action.

                                      My complaint is-I brought the Tata Swach in April 2011.My tata Swach is not filtering water past one month,since August 2011, in a proper way.Earlier it used to take 4-5 hours to filter all 7.5 litres of water,but now it is taking 4-5 days to do the same.I called up customer care one month back,they took up the call and instructed how to get it right by simply doing some cleaning the battery,putting pressure on the top,etc.But they didn't worked at all.I am calling them constantly 4,5 times,every time they pick up the call and instruct a new technique to rectify the problem,but none worked.When finally I argued with the and asked to send service technicians to home,firstly they hesitated and then agreed.Took address and other details of the product,but till today none has reached my doorstep.When I again called them they politely answered that the service technician is busy for some unknown reason.It is very unfortunate that a company like TATA,has reached to such low levels of customer care.As a consumer of the Tata Swach,I am highly dissatisfied about the product and the customer care of TATA.Please provide me a solution in this regard,in an urgent basis.

                                      I had purchased the Tata swach in August 2011 but it is not working well the speed of filtering the water is very very slow. I think in 24 hours it
                                      filters around one liter water. I am facing this problem frequently after 15-20 days of purchasing.
                                      I had lodged a complain on 11th Nov 2011. My complain no is 60730 but still no body contact to me regarding my issue.

                                      I am calling them constantly 2-3 times, every they told technician will contact you, but till today no body contacted me.Unfortunate that a company like TATA, has reached to such low levels of customer care.As a consumer of the Tata Swach, I am highly dissatisfied about the product and the customer care of TATA.Please provide me a solution in this regard, in an urgent basis.

                                      I had purchased Tata Swach on 10th October 2011, withing month it is giving problem that water is not coming down, initially we thought we should clean filters and after that some times it worked and some time not, finally we raised complaint at tata swatch. Their engineer visited and not shown much interest, somehow it started for one day and next day onwards it is giving same problem. During his visit he asked us replace bulb soon, I surprised that we have not even used the device for more than two months, still we have to replace the bulb? In my house my wife and 2 children below 15 years stays with me and it is winter. So no question of excess use in two months. I once again called tata swach, they gave me complaint number, this time engineer called me and told me that he will not visit if I will not replace bulb. I think this is the worst case of handling customer. Now I want the senior person interaction
