Hi,
I booked a toll free number from 'tata tele services' the number alloted to me was [protected]

The scheme was that i don't have to pay rental for initial 2 months but i have to pay the incoming & outgoing call charges.

This same number was alloted to many other companies like future pay, free charge, big bazar & many other companies. (Proof attached)

I haven't promoted this number from my side nor i got any call regarding my business (Xpress diet).

I got almost hundreds of calls regarding the enquiry for future pay, big bazar, free charge, etc. I have the call recording proofs & images which have the same number (Image attached with this post)

'tata tele services' is a fraud. They are allotting the same number to many other companies to earn money.

Now, tata teleservices has generated a bill of rs. 413 (Screenshot of the bill attached) asking me to pay the bill regardless o[censored]sing this number.
I haven't used this number till now, so why should i pay the bill?

Furthermore, i have made several complaints to the company about such incidents but there is no such resolutions.

    We have 2 landline connections from tata telecom which are not working from past 40 days. Numerous times we have complained about it but till now the phones have not been operational. The numbers are[protected] & 66595299

    They only kept giving excuse that cable has been cut due to metro work but can't it be repaired in 40 days. Tata teleservices service is the worst service amongst all service industries because last year too we had the same problem and phone lines were for a month

      Since last year I faced lot of issues with tata tele broadband services.
      Finally after getting tired of calling customer care I requested for disconnection and refund of money as broadband never worked in the last month before I sent email for cancellation of connection.I received legal notice asking for payment for that month and additional payment for 15 days and interest etc.They claimed they had disconnected the connection due to non receipt of payment whereas I had sent email for disconnection and I have it on email.It is harassment extortion and airy arrogant dismissal of facts by producing false evidence and lies.
      I have all email communications.this harassment and if they don't apologise for the misbehaviour i have no choice other than to sue tatatele directors.

        I have applied for tata pri / sip line 25 days before but they not providing me yet. They first promised us - we provide
        Connection within 10 days but now 25 days is over but till we didn't get connection line in my office... My employee are seating idle with no work.
        Very very bad experience i got from tata tele services. I continuously try calling them but they didn't received my call.
        I suggest who read this please don't go with tata tele services.
        If you want sip line please find out their channel partner and go with them for
        Fast services they can provide connection within 5 to 6 days. With same billing price.

        Guys don't buy this product directly from tata tele services
        Please go with their channel partner

        Thanks tata tele services for giving such bad experience

          I have received a Cheque of RS.928.15 of HDFC bank today . I don't understand at all what this Cheque is for ?
          The cheque issue date is - 12.03.2019 and I have received it today - 14.06.2019
          Over the cheque -it is clearly stated that cheque is valid for 3months.
          Is this a kind of Joke ? Or any scam undergoing in your prestigious company.?

            Hi,

            Tata tele services come out with new scheme of toll free services with 2 months free if you provide annual contract with plan of 999. But without our knowledge they upgraded to 4999 package. After i told to stop the services, still they are generating bill for us. I thought of tata is the big brand, but they are fraud with the peoples money. So dont go for these kind of product

              I was using tata docomo broadband my account number was[protected]. I requested for deactivation of my account on 10th jan'19 as i was not getting the right wifi speed. They replied the same day with following guidelines:

              Kindly refer to the below guidelines regarding cancellation:

              1) request you to clear your outstanding amount of rs.825.00/- final bill will get generated post termination of entire billed and unbilled amount on your account.

              2) the line will get barred on 4th day, will suspend on 7th day after registering termination request and permanent disconnection will be done in 90 days.

              3) the equipment from your premises will be collected within 45 days if provided by us.

              4) refund or adjustment of your deposit, if any, will be processed within 45 days from permanent disconnection date.

              We paid rs 825/- on 11th jan'19 and i wrote to them.

              To listen

              Kindly deactivate my account.

              I have cleared all the outstanding and will clear my next generated bill once it comes.

              The bill shall not exceed today's date that is 12.01.19.. Kindly note the same.

              Following which in the next bill cycle i was expecting the bill on pro rata basis while they again mailed me rs 825/- bill. To which i replied to kindly correct the bill and send. But nothing happened. They kept sending me the same bill.
              One day i received mail from an advocate:

              As instructed from my client m/s. Tata teleservices limited, 2-a old ishwar nagar main mathura road, new delhi – 110065, herein after referred as my “client”, we serve you with this legal notice:

              1 my client is a leading unified access service provider in india and provides various telecom and other services in various telecom circle in india by virtue of licenses granted by department of telecommunications (Dot), government of india.

              2 that you approached my client for availing services, for which you have duly signed subscriber application form and other related forms and submitted documents as per the norms prescribed by dot for availing the services.

              3 that my client was induced to provide you its services, whereby you were allotted connection nos.[protected]

              4 that you represented to my client that you would make timely payment against the usage of the aforesaid connection nos. Charged on you.

              5 that basis representations made by you, my client activated your connections on (Date of activation of service) 16/03/2016 and you started using the same.

              6 that you stopped making payments for the services rendered by my client for reasons best known to you, despite availing the services of my client to the tune of rs. 1623/- that when after repeated requests you failed to make above said payment my client was constrained to temporarily suspend / deactivate service of your del no:- on (Mm/dd/yy)

              7 that thereafter my client requested you to make the aforesaid payment, however, in spite of repeated reminders and requests, you have failed and neglected to make the payment of the legitimate dues of my client amounting to rs. 1623/- as on date.

              8. That your acts and intentions clearly amount to breach of trust and dishonesty to our client. Hence you have made yourself liable to be prosecuted under various provisions of civil/criminal laws, as applicable.

              9 by this legal notice, you are hereby given a final opportunity to make the payment of rs.. 1623/- within 2 days hereof, failing which we have clear instructions from our client to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against you for the aforesaid offences at your costs, risk and consequences.

              My client may forward your details to the concerned credit verification agencies to take appropriate action in their database.

              We request you to contact mr. Bapu kamble ([protected]) mr. Sachin bakle (Mob no. [protected]) between 10am to 6pm

              I called mr bapu kamble and had a thorogh discussion regarding what went wrong in communication and eventually it was decided that we have to pay something about rs 400/- as the remaining due. He said he will start the correction process at his end meanwhile asked me to send a similar mail to tata team.

              I replied to that mail from advocate.

              Dear sir,

              There is a huge communication gap between tata team and us.

              I have asked them to reverse the bill and let me know the same.

              I have talked to mr bapu ji and sorted it out.

              I am also marking this mail to tata team for their understanding too.

              I thought the matter is sorted and was waiting for the corrected bill from them but today i got a call from a lady, who was very rude, saying that they will write off rs 300 but i will have to pay rs 1323/-

              I was shocked! And i wrote back to them.

              Dear tata team,

              I had called mr bapu kamble and sorted things out.

              Today we get a call from a lady ([protected]) talking so rudely and asking us to settle the account by paying 1323 rs!!

              What is this?? This is beyond my understanding!!

              I am aghast and shocked by the communication and commitment level of tata docomo professionals!

              Pls do not confuse us with one the a day and different on another.

              Provide us with solution.

              I am still under shock by this unprofessional behaviour by a renowned company like tata!

              I will request them to send me the corrected bill so that i can pay the same and stop harrassing me over it. Thank you.

                I am pradeep karmakar have left tata teleservices on july 2009 and my pf number was ap/hy/32831/18977. I have send the hard copy of pf withdrawal from to tata teleservices head office mumbai, one and half month before, still i am waiting to get my pf amount.

                    This is regarding my tata teleservices account number[protected].

                    I had requested for a plan upgrade to [protected]@1099 in december 2018. After due diligence was done i was told the plan will be activated from next bill cycle starting on 5th january. But it was not activated on 5th jan. When i contacted customer care, they told me service request is still open and i was informed it will be activated...

                    Tata sky website doesn't show different boquets with it's contents and tariff rates for boquets like it is shown by trai in tariff section.
                    It is also charging rs. 59 compulsorily for tata sky promotion.
                    While earlier the charges for multi connection was much lower, now it is very high. After all it is only an additional cable/wire from the same dish. It is unreasonable to fleece subscribers.
                    After trai notification, subscribers have to more than what they were paying earlier for more no of channels.
                    Prayer tata sky must show different boquets with it's contents indicating language of boquets with tariff as shown by trai in it's website and allow subscribers to choose from these. It must discontinue charging rs. 59 compulsorily for it's promos. It must drastically reduce the charges for multi tv connection.

                      I have a landline number [protected] which has a plan for three years for minimum usage as we use that services for only incoming as we do not have proper network for cellular services so we have diverted all the number to our landline... But to our surprise once fine day in november we found that our landline services were terminated, checked with the tata customer support and received information that as there are not many land line users at our location they have terminated the services. But that is not my problem as they are at their peak for bad services for broadband and cellular service.
                      I had asked them as we have already paid for the landline in advance for three years how can they do so, on that they are sorry and said that they will refund the balance amount in 90 days from termination. My concern is what about us as they are not giving any option before this action. I spoke to one of the customer services desk and demanded a call from he supervisor but did not receiver any return call for any clarification. Finally a put a mail too but did not receive any replay for that... Please help.. As if i go for another new landline connection i will have to pay again installatiuon charges and i will not not get the same landline number, who will take care of that as tatateleservices have said they will not take any responsibility for same... I request please look in this matter at the earliest...

                        I had requested to disconnect docomo broadband services with immediate effect from 16th aug, 2018 as i wasn't getting connection from 12th aug. The person said it's in the hands of the builder. I therefore asked to discontinue the services.

                        However, i was later charged for the whole of aug 2018 and then sep 2018, and slapped with a legal notice causing mental harassment. I will paste the email below.

                        With deep regret I write this mail on behalf of my organization- C.Prakash & Co.

                        And expect justice.
                        There was a contract between C. Prakash & co. and Tata tele services of 60 pages or so, agreed but who reads that…

                        It’s only the sales team who says that this is the best plan and my boss would have agreed for the same. We were under the impression (as told by sales team) that the Epbx system was going to be ours (C.Prakash & co.) after 3 years… we could not complete the tenure of 36 months. The Epbx as per my knowledge was never used up to the fullest reason the company had only 8-13 extensions in use at any point of given time… none o[censored]s are technically sound… whatever the sales guy told we believed… we dint even bothered to get a second quotation from any other vendor.

                        We got a call from your officer Sarang Madane stating that the Epbx system needs to be surrendered as it is the property of tata… (Though my boss was under the impression that we were paying so high rental of 8850 the ebpx system was going to be ours)

                        It is only after Mr. Sarang brought to our notice that it was never going to be ours and was always tata's property.

                        We surrendered the Epbx system to your officer Sarang Madane.(attachment)

                        Each month the bill was paid for the usage...

                        Mr. Sarang Madane said that post this no call from Tata would be made regarding to any outstanding, But few days later we got a call from Mr. Dharmendra Devar stating that there is an outstanding of 48379 as we did not complete the tenure (36 months) which we were only made aware by mr. Sarang that such a contract existed.

                        The sales person was only allowed in our office as he belonged from Tata.
                        We always believed in the professionalism and ethics that Tata works with.

                            Even though i had requested to cancel it in aug 2018 they did not take congnisance of my request and asked me to pay the bills first. I paid for aug and then also sept 2018 but still they did not cancel it. Finally in oct 18 they accepted my request with service no[protected]. But they are now asking me to pay bill for oct 2018. This is ridiculous.

                            They have still not cancelled.

                              I am having internet problem for last two months. I had tried to compliant the same with tatadocomo. But the contact numbers, email id available on line are feck. Nether of them is working.
                              Tatadocomo is not warring about their customers.
                              I am unable to contact with the service provider tatabocomo.

                                We have received so many calls, emails for our discontinued (Without notice and suddenly by ttsl) 4 mbps internet lease line. And this is because of non co ordination between technical dept. And billing dept. Already paid till 5 days more then discontinued date then also demand for next quarter bill. Even demand for exit charges.

                                  My mobile number was in zero rental plan. But since last two month, it is showing that 99 rupees monthly rental in my plan. And bill was generated according to the same with rs 225 approx for last two month. I was not informed via email or call or sms for the same and charged 118 rupees monthly forcefully. When i called customer care they said that your old plan(zero rental plan) was discontinued by tata docomo and 99 rupees monthly plan was activated on my sim.
                                  Is this how any company forcefully activate any plan in your account?
                                  Someday after they will activate 1000 rupees plan in your account. Clear case of fraud in telecom sector. If your company is not making any profit and being outdated in front of jio, vodafone, airtel service provider, then this is how you want to earn profit?

                                  Consumer complaint not forwarded complaint to tata services. Where to go now? No proper escalation system exists in india. Even for consumer court complaint, you have to spoil your whole day which no one would like to do.
                                  So now I haven't any expectation from consumer complaint.
