I have purchased PANTECH 7155C against their Invoice-cum-delivery challan No.72555, dt.25.12.2007 for Rs.2999.00. But the same was under problem their technical/programme error. I have asked them for replacement of piece after confirmation of their report of technical/programme error. They are enquired against this with their department and informed me that we will replace it shortly. But I have not received any piece from them till now. Hence, you are requested that to kindly arrange to grant me the same piece specified in their Invoice-cum-delivery challan and oblige. In this regard, I have approached their Customer Service Centre and Nodal Officers of Andhra Pradesh on TATA INDICOM. This is for your kind information and oblige.

    I have purchased a new number of tata indicom dt : 10th June, 2008 and activated services as 224+75 (T to T)+ 75 (Northern coridor)+50 (SMS pack).
    I had made other request on the same date to deactivate 75+50 only. Lateron i have made another request to cancel my previos request and to issue bill at my gmail e-mail id.

    Firstly, they have deactivated my all my add on packs, asking for updation, they have not taken any action in favour but deactivateed my account and no able to make incoming and outgoing call.

    Tata Teleservices Pvt. Ltd. — Billing Issue

    Hi, This is Nitin Manchanda from Swadhaar Finserve Pvt. Ltd.

    There is lot of dispute going on for Tata PRI Line account #[protected] since February 2010 till date regarding Payment Outstanding.

    We have emailed the complaint to the Nodal Officer (complaint #[protected] in the month of June, 2010 and have got replies from them that they are working on the issue but we have not got any resolution till date. We also spoke with Mr. Harpal Singh Sahute for the same but he was unable to assist us. In July Mr. Shahid Shaikh (Account Manager) visited our office and since then he has been giving up false promises that they are looking into the issue and will give us the resolution soon. We have provided them emails which were sent to us by the Sales guy which is good enough proof for them to refund the money. With such a simple case they are unable to give us a resolution for the issue.

    Your prompt action will be highly appreciated.

      The biggest mistake in india is none other then buying a product of Tata Teleservices mainly Tata Indicom postpaid walky landline connection.

      I wish the company Tata should get closed as soon as possible. No one should buy any thing from Tata even for free. Specially bringing a tata phone is same as invitation to dacoits, burgalars, thiefs and Naxalites in your house that too in your absence.

      L V Vijay Shankar & Associates & Tata Teleservices combinedly harassing me by cheating me and black mail. All my problem is due the Tata Indicom postpaid walky connection (number is[protected]. Tata Indicom is continuously cheating me with money from the time I have taken the postpaid walky landline connection. I lost lot of my money, time and my effort for which they are not giving any refund. L V Vijay Shankar & Associates, Plot no 186, Motinagar Hyderabad-81 & Tata Teleservices has sent me a demand notice from giving them 3500 rupees for no reason. I have been using the tata walky and paying postpaind bill (can be checked in my Tata Indicom account no[protected] properly but suddenly I received a demand notice for money. I don't understand why the people don't understand the strategy of making money by the Tata people. This is the only way left for Tata to stay in indian market because it is very easy make business in the indian market by cheating.

      Tataindicom Postpaid — I have been cheated

      Respected Sir,

      Please Help Me

      I received a call from tata outsourcing. I agreed with the call and called the sales person Mr. Chirag ( Ph. no. : [protected] ). I gave him 600 Rs. ( 06X100 ). He asked me choose the no of my choice. I choosen [protected]. He called to the no and told me that I can get the no surely. He gave me the SIM CARD. I received the calls for address varificartion from the same office and they use to say me that the are calling me from TATA head office ( Nos :[protected] &[protected]. This was done to make me confuse. At that time I was using TATA PREPAID ( No : [protected] ). From this prepaid no I called 121 and ask to mention the complaint ( Ref No. :[protected].

      I use to call the dealer to acct. my no. and he use to say me that your no will be acct. anyhow either today or tomorrow morning. At last, after 08 days they given me another no ( No : [protected] ) and the acct.
      But they changed my plan.

      Firstly they told that we are giving you the PLAN 224 ( including T 2 T Free ).

      They changed my plan and didn’t give me the above PLAN. They issued me the PLAN 224 but I have to pay Rs. 125.00 for T 2 T Free.

      This time I made another complaint to TATA 121. ( Ref no. :[protected],[protected].

      I wiss that this mail could help you to understand the condition of the tata outsourcing.

      Going through through the letter I understand the plight of the customers of this private telephone services and internet services.In this cut throat competition the consumers are made scape goats and thery are fooled .Many a times the consumers ends up paying enormous money for faulty billing and poor services by this business houses.The following are some of the complaints which the customers usually have.
      1.Irrational exhorbitant billing.(When the customers asks explanation, the service provider never gives explanation and in turn asks so many questions and finally says their system doesnt accept the code or not verifiable)
      2.In post paid sometimes at a stretch 10 to 15 days the line will not work for some technical problems and it will never work even after complaining.But the customer is asked to pay the full amount for the month .
      3.If any postal delay they put delay charges also on customers.Most of the time they hire couriers who never make a door delivery.( he simply throws the letters some where at the ground floor and vanishes.
      4.The complaints of the customers are not solved.But bills are generated generously with out knowing the status of the services.
      Really it is an unfortunate thing that some Advocates and their firms who are supposed to play responsible role also collude with such business houses for their personal gain and harass the customer by blackmailing and sending demand notices with out carefully evaluating the cases.
      Such business houses instead of spending the money foolishly they can strengthen their technical support and customer care by providing proper trainings and getting feedback from the customers for improving their services.

      TATA Indicom — 3500 rs paid but not reflecting in my account

      Hi,
      I am a Tata Indicom broadband user, I had deposited Rs 3500 on account of my renewal for broadband connection on 22nd of february but till date the same is not reflecting in my account and neither have my services been restored.
      Have called the customer service a number of times and every time these guys tell that they are going to get back to us, and till date the same has not been resolved.

      Request help on the same, as I am frustrated and I want my money back.

      TATA Indicom — Wrong recharge Commitment

      On 4th Of April i got msg On My Cell No [protected] That
      GET LIFE TIME VALIDITY FOR JUST RS 79/- WITH ALL LOCAL TATA TO TATA CALLS AT 25P, OTHER LOCAL MOBILES @75P, LOCAL [protected]@RE 1 AND STD @RS 1.5/-
      and i recharged my number with this voucher i got life time validity but calling are still old one, , , calling rates is not changed this is Really disgusting and wrong commitment...how can i trust future recharge msgs and your services?/

      TATA TeleServices — Harassment by Tata People

      Dear Sir

      I am receiving continous call towards outstanding bill of rs. 1200/- from tata indicom collection agent from phone no[protected] persons saying i am calling from Delhi High Court and giving the adovate no from Sanjeev sabharwal & co. Mr. Pramod sharma No-[protected].


      I am not using this number since 3-4 months and was dicontinued due to insturment problem and not repaired by tata indicom despite seversal complaints. phone bills started rising due to interruptin in calls and i have already requested to disconnect the number and provide the discount in bill to pay the same. But no resporse came to me.

      I am ready to pay the bill after providing the bill details duly providing the waiver for poor services and excess charges due to poor phone service.

      May please guide as to what can be done in this respect.

      it is to bring into notice that, we had removed our tata indicom phone connection long back. one person from department has come and took the piece, and gave us the receipt, he also made us to pay the bill of Rs.500/-. He took the piece also. now L V Vijay Shankar & Associates, Plot no 186, Motinagar Hyderabad-81 & Tata Teleservices has sent me a demand notice from giving them 4500 rupees for no reason. we are not using their service, but still asking us to pay the amount. instead they did not refund the amount of Rs.1000/-, which they took as deposite.
      please, make use your service in a proper.

      TATA Indicom — wrong commitment

      my name is ranjith from chodavaram(visakha dt)AP. i am using tata indicom prepaid connection [protected].

      Sir the problem is from 2006 iam using same number same network. in 2007 Dec the tata indicom offerd me to "recharge with 2008 rupees and you will get full talk time and 5years validity and 5years local tata to tata nonstop and any other local networks @50paisa".

      from 2008 January to 2008 December they given the offer what they offered me.
      in 2008 December my tata to tata free is not working i was shocked and i was called the costumer care(12524)they said your offer is over and again they said "from 2008 January your offer changed to monthly600 min tata to tata and local other networks 50paisa, the validity same no change in the validity, if you want tata to tata non staop for one month recharge with 51".
      from 2009 January to 2009 November they given the new offer.in 2009 November in my mobile December month 600 min tata to tata was not credited. i was called the customer care([protected])they said this offer is also over. for tata to tata nonstop for one month recharge with 51.i recharged my mobile with 51.
      in 2010 January i tried to recharge my mobile with rupees51, but the message is you are not eligible for this offer. again i called the customer care they said "sorry sir this offer is over, in your account only your validity will be there" i asked them lot of times why you given wrong commitment they did not respond my words. and when i called to the customer care they putting my call on transfer and i waste my valuable study time for them and heavy mental tenxon, what they are doing and why they changing my planes"

      is starting 2008 to 2008 what they said is "you should maintain your account balance with 2008 rupees i was maintained the 2008 rupees for one year and after that i asked them why sir why removed my offer i maintained 2008rupees balance in my account" they said "no need of maintain sir who said that to maintain".

      please solve my problem or please tell me the way to solve my problem.

      I have a connection with your co.Tata telecom/ Indicom NO.[protected] with unlimited tata to tata free calls also recahrged in 2008 with Rs 2008 company given Unlimited Tata to tata free call till 13 june 2013. Now from last week company charge me for local tata to tata When I call up to cutomer sevice nobody ready to answer logical question with co. When i purchased some content with define prize so without my permission how com. can change the terms and condition.Its clear cut case of ceating .If you are unable to solve the my grevance so plz provide me the contact of superior authority or farward it higher authority.

      Its my request to co. kindly give my service that i purchaged otherwise i will go the legal.

      TATA Indicom — Wrong Commitment Cheating

      I have a compliant against wrong commitment by TATA Indicom people, my compliant is i have a no of tata inidcom [protected] and im using this no from last 3-4 years i visited to the tata indicom shop for convert it to postpaid to prepaid, the executive of TATA indi com shop located at R.K. Road near zoom hotel told me that you are our gold customer so you please not convert it to the prepaid, i will give you the better offer so you use this no under this plan (plan is 99 per month with full talk time value of 99 call rate 0.50 paise per mint local and national) and also committed with me as you are our gold customer we are giving you a add on pack of rupees 99 in which 900 min local tata to tata is free. the same has he committed with me while i visited the tata office. the plan was activated but the add on pack is still not activated, regarding this i was call to tata toll free no 121 the customer care executive told me the pack is not activated and we are not receiving any kind of request from your side, than i submit the complaint regarding the same issue a call again received by me from the tata office from mohali he told me the commitment was not to give me 99 pack but give you the 200 free for three month. and when i same conveyed to the mohali office they said we are again written your compliant and resolve before 25th june 2010. today i received a call from mohali office mr. sachin said we are not giving you the 99 addon pack. i told him that all the commitment made by your executive to me was not verbal i m giving the written letter to your executive bring my letter and than talk to me i m wrong or your executive wrong. they said ok we are not help you, you take your action. after that sir i again visited the R.K. Road office i again met with the same executive and he is again agreed for their commitment but now he is refused and said donot talk with me if your compliant for our agency than go to the mohali people. they give you the solution we are nothing do for you. its a clear cut sign of harassment and 420 . if i use your connection from 4 year and i paid arround 600-700 per month why not i paid 200 but its a matter of cheating and wrong commitment.

      so please take necessary action and resolve my issue.

      TATA Indicom — acceptance of faulty billing but no buy back of phone

      i purchased a tata walky data phone from one Mr Firoz [mobile [protected]] in Apr 2010. i was apprehensive about buying a phone but he assured me that he will take the phone back and try to get me atleast half the money.

      i started the walky phone number [protected] with a unlimited internet plan [ i dont even wish to discuss the poor connectivity and pathetic download speed but u can see that even in the whole month i have not been able to cross 8 GB of data]

      then came a shocker- my phone was disconnected on 06/07 may 2010 -- on enquiry, i was told that my internet usage has been high and i have an outstanding amount of rs 4699 pending. if i wished to avail the phone faciilty, i may immediately deposit the amount and the services will be restored. i obviously will not deposit this amount. just to check the statement of the customer 'care' person i logged in my account online and there was an unbilled amount of the same value.i called up the person who had sold me this set and he assured me that my plan was for the unlimited net usage.

      today however the bill has been generated and i find that that entire amount has been waived and the bill is only for the plan.

      in other words the company's software created a situation in which internet usage was billed separately and in a classic case of left hand not knowing what the right is doing, my phone was disconnected due to high usage.

      now imagine if i was depending on this phone to run my daily affairs. it would have disrupted life for all these days it was disconnected and for no fault of mine.

      this incident is a shock to my faith in TATA services--- and after that i contacted Mr Jain Nodal officer at delhi-- he investigated and accepted that my claim was correct-- he offered me one month o[censored]sage to check the services which i had to accept since he was not willing to stop the phone immediately.

      so after one month i contacted him again and in jun my phone service was finally closed. EVEN THOUGH THE COMPANY ACCEPTED ITS MISTAKE I WAS NOT OFFERED A COMPLETE REFUND AND BUYBACK OF THE DATA PHONE WORTH 1700 Rs

      then i called Firoz who initially told me to wait a few weeks in which he will try to dispose off my phone like he had promised. now after two weeks he says he cannot help me at all-- its a miracle he accepts that he sold the phone to me!

      is there any justice

      i have bought a blackberry handset which supports to cdma tech.. from Tataindicom outlet in the month of august 2010.

      the handset has worked only for 6 months , from then onwards , the handset is troubling me a lot.
      i have intimated to the tataindicom customer-care but no valid reason or proper action.
      so please do take action regarding my complaint

      I agree with the above L. V. Vijay Shankar & Associates had send me a demand notice by a tel no: [protected] and A/C. No:[protected] and send to my address, The truth is never used a tata telephone only, but i got the notice. I can't understand what theses people do they simply give the mobiles to un know persons and simply irritate the public, they can't even see that a person who brought the proofs is he / she is present or not at least they even don't check who's signature is present. simply to sale their product they do what ever they like.

      viji Associates — not delivered in time

      A document sent by my business associates M/s Om biotec, Daryaganj, New delhi- through Tracoon Courier no:[protected] dt.13.06.2011.Not yet reached me. While tracking with their official site, understood that it reached Cochin on 14.06.2011 and forwarded to Kozhikode on the same day. But kozhikode officee is not responding in a fruitful way-iresponsible reply given by them then contacted Cochin office[protected] on 21.06.2011 and they said, will be calling me back after conducting Kozhikode office but not conducted me. Once again today22.06.2011 conducted Kozhikode office the lady staff who took the phone never bothered to answer in a good manner instead she said the document from Cochin it was misrouted. Immediately I conducted Cochin office they after conducting Kozhikode office informed me that it will be delivered today.
      I have had similar issues ... this is harassment and should be dealt with severely . I am approaching the Consumer Forum. I have had similar issues with both tata photon as well Tata indicom. Bunch of cheats
      Im writing this in regards to the notice which I received from the above company L.V Vijay Shankar & Associates .

      I have cancelled by Reliance Brodaband connection 2 year back and due to incorrect billing by reliance, i was asked to pay 2500 amount which was due.

      However after many follow ups with Reliance, the issue was sorted out and reliance has confirmed that there is no due which I have to make as payment to the company.

      Surprisingly after 2years I receive a mail from these L.V Vijay Shankar & Associates guys saying they are going to proceed legally against me.

      Please assist on the same and confirm on what needs to be done in this case so that il get rid of this reliance issue completely.

      Dear All,

      The worst services and the biggest fraud of the world is the name can be given to TATA Indicom.
      I had requested to discontinue to services of the datacard in saeveral time as the services where MTS is charging 550 from me they wee charging 1050, also my device was first broken then lost, they told me that i will have to purchase a new device for Rs. 1200/-, I told them to discontinue as i can get better services with other operator in less payment, their retention team started calling me everyday by telling that they will send me the new device but i strictly told to discontinue.
      Now god only knows why they kept the services on and sent me a bill of more than 2700/- to me, with their calls every now and then that pay the bills else we are taking you to the court, when i asked them if i didn't pay the bill for a month why did you keep the services on for three months, they had no answer.
      I wrote several emails to appellateauthority keeping the consumer Forum and trai ID in the loop but nothing happened.
      They kept threatening and harassing me that we will file the complaint (we have a spare guy to go n sit in the court everyday, u think what would you do) and now some Mr. D.K. Malhotra [protected] called 4 days back claiming to be a lawyer of TATA from tees hazari (which i am sure was not a lawyer) and asked me to deposit it and he will release a NOC from court within 2-4 hours.
      Now when i found nobody is there to help me, as there nothing exist in this country named Justice (which is proven as all the higher authorities could not even intervene being in the loop everytime) god only knows whether i am going to get the NOC ever from the court now as after several calls the same response i got that the server is down.
      Anybody could help me in this case or if any complaint can be filed against this fraud pls do let me know.

        I would like to present before you the highhandedness of Tata Tele Services in regards to misappropriating subscriber's payments and then subjecting subscriber to harrassments to extent that the outgoing as well as incoming services being barred.

        Tata Tele Services have engaged one M/s India Collection & Bureau Pvt. Ltd., B-1/637, Second Floor, Janakpuri, New Delhi – 58. to collect payments from subscribers. The Telecallers from such companies start calling you for making payments before the bill could reach you. On 20th February one such Telecaller called up and asked if she could sent the collector to collect the payment. Though the due date was 24th of February, we asked her to send someone immediately. we issued a cheque Numbered 722034, drawn on SBI, Shanker Road Branch of Rs 1098.00 towards outstanding of Number [protected] for which the collector issued a reciept number 882820. The cheque got cleared on 23rd of February. To my utter disbelief the outgoing services of number [protected] were barred on 28th February 2008 without any rhyme or reason and without any intimation to me which resulted in great humiliation, harassment and frustration.

        On persistent request from my side, to the customer care, by giving the details of the payment, the services of the mobile number [protected] were reinstalled on 3/4 March-2008 but again on 5.3.2008 the Tata Tele Services disconnected my number without any prior intimation.

        I kept on calling and requesting the customer care to restore my outgoing but in vain. It was a shocking revelation that on 19th of March 2008 the Tata Tele Services distrupted my incomming facility too. Because I am into profession of rendering services, I was left with no choice but to kneel in front of dadagiri of Tata Tele Services by shelling out another 1100.00 (Rs One Thousand one hundred only) in cash on 19th March 2008. The amount was paid through recipt no 790790.

        The outgoing and incoming facilities were immediately restored and I was relieved by having got my services restored. I contacted customer care, tried explaining them to please rectify the account so that I do not face the problem again, despite asurances I was subjected to a rude shock on 28th of March when my outgoing services were barred and then incomming services were again barred on 17th April 2008.

        It is crystal clear from the above mentioned facts that there is a complete negligence, deficiency in service and dereliction of duties on part of the Tata Tele Services, who have disconnected my mobile services despite receiving the bill amount and knowing fully that the payment was duly encashed as the same was intimated by me.

        TATA TeleServices — Harrassment by TATAteleservices

        The company introduced EXCHANGE OFFER for P-800 telephone instruments, we got faulty instruements now the company offering to change against payment which is adjustable in subsequent bills. In the exchanged telephones the battery life is very short. Actually, the TATAS is cheating its valued customers. I am fighting on this issue for the last one and a half month. If anybody wants to join he is most welcome.
        You are right Tata TeleServices is providing worst services to customers.

        Even i faced the same issue similar to yours.

          i am using tata indicom No. [protected].this No. had been disconnected from 11 april and did not started even after paying 150 % of my billing amount. each time after calling custemet care they give me new reason and additional deposit to start my phone. finally it starts on 18 april but i sufffered a lot and decided to file a case against them. tell me the way how should i proceed for it. i also given a letter to there regional office but they yet not replied it even after 10 days.
          please guide me to file a case against them in consumer forum

            i) That I called Mr Sanjay Patel of Shree Shubh Tele at my office in GIDC Gandhinagar in 3rd week of January, 2007 for getting Telephone/internet services of Tata indicom at my residence and based on his information handed over Rs. 1350/- cash(for Telephone equipt, [protected]@ Rs. 150/- and activation [protected]@ Rs 600/-) alongwith requisite document as proof of residence and identity).

            Complaint: (i) Improper cash receipt against money paid
            (ii) Improper charges for activation against as promised.
            (iii) Didn’t return the balance money.

            ii) Date of Issue of receipt: 03.02.2007 Signed by D A Patel, wherein Amount collected shown as Rs. 1122/- and activation charges were not shown clearly and were overwritten(unreadable).

            Complaint :Bill not received resulting into disconnection of services, delay in payment, loss of opportunities and embarrassment for non-availability of services when it was inevitably needed.

            (v) That 3rd bill received,

            Date of payment : 29.05.2007 Rs. 534/-

            (vi) That 4th & 5th bill were received with cumulative Amt Rs 1114/- and by this period there were disconnection, and difficulty in getting the services restored and very embarrassing kind of services since beginning. As a senior Management executive of a company heading HR & Admin dept. found the services very deficient, unprofessional and myself did not find time to bother about such services and so decided to discontinue with the service. Finally services were disconnected on 05.06.2007 by the service provider.

            (vii) That on 29.11.2007 received a threatening call from mob. No.[protected]
            attended by my wife, the caller misbehaved on phone and and instead a plea or a
            gentle instruction for balance payment of Rs 1114/-, threatened to bring the
            matter to court. And the very next day i.e on 30.11.2007 a pre-litigation Lok –
            Adalat notice was delivered at my residence. As per the terms of notice, payment
            were made on due date i.e. 08.12.2007 at City Civil & Session court, Bhadra,
            Ahmedabad

            Complaint: No sensitivity towards customer needs/ grievances and in place of customer care, complete disrespect was shown against the norms of civility/behaviour which was again very embarrassing, insulting and we had to deplore and regret such a degradable act/services.

            (viii) That on 17.02.2008 a threatening call was received on my mobile for non submission of Telephone instrument where as while installing the services Mr Sanjay Patel of Shree Shubh tele had misrepresented the fact stating that Rs 1122/- includes

            the cost of instrument and is non-returnable and data cable extra @ Rs 150/- for which receipt was not issued to me. On 18.02.2008 a notice has been served on me by A C Choksi, Advocate, Gujarat High Court on behalf of Tata Tele services asking to pay the cost of instrument @ Rs 8000/- plus charges for serving the notice @ Rs 1000/-.

            Complaint: (i) Misled by misrepresenting the fact.
            (ii) Receipt not issued for the amount collected and instrument issued. (iii) Caused humiliation and dishonour causing mental agony and unwanted
            harassment for the services deficient in all counts from the service
            provider whereas nothing was/is denied from customer in utmost of
            good faith.

            It is therefore prayed
            (i) That Complainant may please be compensated to the tune as deemed fit by the Hon’ble District Forum for the deficiency of services, mental agony and harassment caused to him/her in the due course.
            (iii) Cost of litigation may also be awarded suitably.

            Tata teleservices has over charged us. Whereas the receipt of Rs. 1399 is given to us the rest of the Rs.400 has not been accounted for by giving a receipt despite asking.
            After paying and fulfilling the formalities, we were harassed and it is after constant request and one day waiting for 4 hrs by my elder father aged 73 years of age, we get the connection. after two days the connection is suddenly severed off. when we ask the true value shoppe employee Mr. subash, shop no. 16 - True value shoppe, Alaknanda main market, we were told that the 'person came for verification but noone was there at home'. It is impossible becuase during the working hours as well as beyond we were at home waiting for the man to come.
            This completely amounts to customer harassment. We have already paid for the service but in vain.
            this matter should be looked into and our connection should be resumed asap otherwise we would like a refund of Rs. 1800 and also compensation for the harassment given to us.

            tata internet — harassment and mental agony

            I have subscribed for the Tata wireless internet service.The authorised officials in orissa circle took all the necessary documents and the security money for installing the service.But they only supplied the instrument and neither installed in my pc nor activate the same for which cause I could not use their service.I repeatedly requested them to instal the insrument and activate it,but they never care to look into the matter,rather they started issuing bills even though I have not used.After a lapse of 3 to 4 months I requested to take back the instrument and settle the account.Hearing this,the Local office served a Legal notice through their advocate demanding a rupees of Rs2835.00 or odds/

            Prayer: I may request your consumer forum to kindly insruct the company to settle the account,take away the instrument and adjust the security deposit as I require no further harassment through their advocates.

              I purchased a Tata walky number [protected] on 03-09-06 from your franchise shop. The phone and net is working very good but in April 06 the walky started showing problem. I make a compliant regarding this on 11-4-06 (no[protected] at 121. After that the problem is continuous. In gist your engineers coming 5 times and phone is also goes to your repair shop but the problem is continuous and I make complaints time to time the last engineers visited tell me that problem is solved when phone is replaced and assured me that presently this model is not available in stock as it coming to our stock we replaced after 3 months a person is coming to my house to change the set with different model, I say to him this is the different model and if you want to replace by this than also replace the internet cord which I purchased from your authorise centre. He say me that I will come on next day with the same model or cord, but the next day is not coming till date phone is showing problem and I make complaints as usual. As you can see entire history from your 121 computer records if they mange and Now from 3-4 months the started saying to me that our upgardation is going so you are facing problems, if this is true I want to know why consumer is suffer? If there is any inconvenience you should inform in advance to consumer and reduce the call charges for that particular period.
              In Oct. month a call is coming from your call centre that you are providing a V-card for your old costumers for better internet services at nominal charges. Because of above problem I agreed to purchases and on 16-10-07 Mr. Deepak, Account manager come to my house and installed the V-card ([protected]). It also generates some problems but after installation of repeater the problem is solved. The bill of this new no is coming with my tata walky number.’
              Now I received a separate bill on 25-01-08 showing Rs 599.00 outstanding, I surprised that I pay advance payment & how this happened and why a separate bill come. When I see the no mention on bill I surprised that this is not my no ([protected]).I make a complaint (no[protected] on 29-01-08 to your help line that a fraud no is generated on my ID without any physical verification (as you earlier done with my both numbers) and this will be dangerous because I read in news papers that terrorists are using no. generated on fraud ID so first stop this no and than make a inquire. They assured that the problem is solve within 24 hours.
              Next day a phone is coming from your helpline on my mobile and there is a lady on other side saying rudely to me that “phone to use karte hai bill nehi dena chate ” I replied first mind your language I am 2 years old costumer and if any thing happen wrong I shall make a FIR, as she listen she cut the phone without replying.

              Now I become fed up from the problems of Tata teleservices so I write a latter to you and request you to First stop the no [protected] than make a enquire and inform me who is responsible for this fraud because this is serious matter in national point view
              I also request you to change my walky no [protected] after checking the history on your helpline 121
              Please solve both the problems within 15 days and I am sorry to say if this will not happen within time limit I will stop payment of bill coming and I supposed your not inertested to solve the problem and forced me to file a compliant against you in nearest police station and go to consumer form for justice

              Tata Tele servicese — Not connecting Walky Phone for last 3 months

              Dear Sir,

              SUB : COMPLAINT AGAINST TATA TELE SERVICES


              I had purchased a WALKY from TATA TELE SERVICES shop at Lee Road against bill number 329 dated 27th April’09 and application number[protected].

              The said phone with number:[protected] was installed at my residence on 3rd May’09 and activated on 5th May’09. After running for 7 days the phone was disconnected and calling up the same number it said “ PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER”.

              Now, complaining about the service for last 70 days to call center and authorized agent, we did not get any fruitful results.

              The harassments were immense as we were asked to submit the documents several times and people visited our residence several times for confirmation.

              Since, this phone number was supposed to be used for commercial purpose; we have given this contact in some of our advertisements and printed documents.

              We request your intervention urgently to penalize the service provider for the following misconducts.

              1) Commercial losses
              2) Mental Agony & Harassments
              3) Loss of Time & Money

                I have taken a plan of 512 kbps, Broadband Connection. According to TRAI guide Lines, we should receive atleast 80% of our Plan's Speed, in my case it is 512 kbps, so I should receive 400 kbps speed. But they are giving me explanation that they have an compression ratio of 1:4 in my plan. If so, why they are charging me for 512 kbps speed ? - Even as per their explanation I should get atleast 128 kbps speed, but I am not getting that speed also. I am getting only 68, 50, 40 kbps speed. I have tested this speed from the following URL's as under :-

                My ISP is TATA Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd., Mumbai (India). I have taken a Broadband Connection of 512 kbps from them. Their Plan is "Business 700 - 512 kbps" with 1:4 compression ratio. Firstly, I should get an real speed of 512 kbps, but they argues that as per compression ratio you will get 128 kbps speed, but then why they are advertising this as 512 kbps plan. Now as per them I should get 128 kbps speed, but in actual I am getting only 90, 80, 85, 60, 40, 9, 8, 6 kbps speed only. I lodged about 22 complaints with them, but none has been attended. I have tested their speed at various level, and have the records of all those tests. They are charging me about 1200/- Per Month, but giving only 60 kbps speed against my plan of 512 kbps. They are just cheating to public. I hereby warn public, not to take their connections.

                Sub: Complaint against Marketing officer namely Mr. Promod - [protected].

                I am subscriber to the Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited. Originally I was subscriber to the Tata Indcom (VSNL), having Email ID – [protected]@vsnl.net. I am Company Secretary in Practice giving professional services in Law. I was operating my small professional activities from my residence at Andheri. I was doing my professional activities since last 7 – 8 year from said Andheri residence cum office with the help of above said email ID, which was widely known, circulated to all the clients, professionals, friends and relatives. Since I have taken new office I wanted to transfer my Broadbend connection of VSNL (Tata Indcom) to said new premises, However we have been given to understand that due to the technical non feasibility in the area of said new office, it is not possible to shift the same. We were trying to retain same Email ID.

                In mean while we got in touch with Mr. PROMOD – Marketing officer of your company, (Cell No. [protected]). We explained our requirements to him and he has confirmed us that since Tata Indcom and Tatatele being same company we will be able to retain our ID same. We requested him to reconfirm the same, which he has assured us and informed that he has confirmed from his senior also. According to said assurance/ confirmation, we have subscribed the connection of tata tele. After activation of the connection we understood from the engineer who has installed the same, that both the Company has different rules and we can not use same ID. Now we understood that in order to sell their one connectivity, said Mr. PROMOD (cell No. [protected]) has mis leaded, wrong represented to us. We go to “TATA” because of their known ethical principal, we never known that for having business of one connection their representative can mislead / wrongly represent the public to this extent.

                The above act has put us to great hardship, we were forced to renew VSNL (Tata INDCOM) to continue our business, the same has effected our business uninterruptedly. Every time we call the call centre is not able to Answer only refer to their seniors, the so called senior again refer to their senior and chain continues without any result. Please do the needful.

                In mean while we have received 1st Invoice, we did not paid, Tata Tele sent their representatives to our office and we were forced to make payment without utilizing their services. We also informed the person came to collect the cheques to discontinue connection, since the same is not of any use to us. However no progress, Now we have received 2nd Invoice. We are not going to make payment unless our grievances is resolved and we get compensated for the loss incurred by us.

                Another instance of cheating to the organization by Mr. PROMOD (Cell No. [protected]) is of insisting us to sign the two forms of subscription to facilitate him to count his so called achievement of getting more client or may be reaching to predetermined targets of the Company, which we have denied.

                Looking all this it seems more better to go to other internet player and disassociating with such unethical company, who can do so much for getting business. What future reliance can be made for business relationship.

                Please do the needful without giving standard answer of getting back within 48 Hours. I do not know when this 48 Hours will be completed and our grievance will be resolved.

                If my problem is not resolved immediately or if we are not reimbursed the amount spent on tata tele, we will be constraint to go to consumer court or other legal remedy.

                Very Poor Quality Broadband - Against 128 kbps getting only 30 kbps

                My ISP is TATA Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd., Mumbai (India). I have taken a Broadband Connection of 128 kbps from them. Their Plan is unlimeted 128 kbps" with 1:4 compression ratio. Firstly, I should get an real speed of 128 kbps, but they argues that as per compression ratio you will get 30 kbps speed, but then why they are advertising this as 128 kbps plan. Now as per them I should get 30-40 kbps speed, but in actual I am getting only 40, 9, 8, 6 kbps speed only. I lodged about 2-3 complaints with them, but none has been attended. I have tested their speed at various level, and have the records of all those tests. They are charging me about 399+ srivice tax 49/- Per Month, but giving only 30 kbps speed against my plan of 128 kbps. They are just cheating to public. I hereby warn public, not to take their connections.

                  Dear Assistant manager - HNI.TN - circle ,

                  I'm writing this mail regarding the surrender of mobile connection, Mobile No - [protected] under the tariff plan – Get More 99 plandue to unsatisfactory services.

                  Since the day of your bill No.[protected] dt.17/8/07 for the period 15/7 to 14/8/07 for Rs.94.38, I have contacted your office over phone to send somebody to my residence for clarifying some of the doubts which I could not follow over phone. But nobody turned up to clarify my doubts.


                  One of the doubts I had was about the credit limit of Rs.2500/- which was mentioned in your bill. I could not understand why was I asked to pay the bill amount of Rs.532/- in spite of the credit limit being Rs.2500/-. I received a letter on 1/12/07, dated 28/11/07 which mentioned that the failure of payment of bill amount totaling Rs.532/-, would lead to legal proceedings against me.



                  So I called Mr. Iyyappan as advised by you in the above mentioned letter, to surrender my connection and in turn he deputed Mr. Venkat of M/s. Lakshmi Credit Consultants, Chennai – 28. Mr. Venkat collected from me a cheque no.167116 for Rs.532/- and a letter of cancellation of mobile connection with immediate effect on 10/12/07.



                  In the mean time I was trying to call other numbers from my TATA INDICOM mobile in order to check if the connection has been cut but unfortunately found out that still the connection has not been cut. Hence I tried calling Mr. Iyappan several times to confirm the disconnection but he did not attend any of my calls.



                  So I called up the 121 customer care to inform the same and thereby requested them to process my disconnection as early as possible. The customer care executive, Ms. Lakshmi, told me that the disconnection request was registered on 11/12/07 and therefore the disconnection will be effected within 3 days which is supposed to be by end of the day on 14/12/07. Hence I waited until yesterday for the same and still find that the connection has not been cut.



                  Hence I request you to process the disconnection without any further delay and state that I will not be paying any more bill amounts from Tata Indicom in this regard.

                    Today when i talked with Mr. Pradeep in Kota,Rajasthan who is responsible for customer complaints, started giving abuses for asking simple question ..
