I am sending complaint of non receipt of the tamil daily

inspite of paying my subscription in the office at mount road

money credited in kasturi and sons in the month of april 2016

i have received paper only may and five days in june2016

I hadbeen to the office twice met only receiptionist but no response from the

office till now . I have lodged complaint in the board but no effect.

I have brought an yearly subscription of The Hindu. I was due to receive the newspaper from September 1 onwards. I haven't received any newspaper till now. I have contacted The Hindu's customer care number but there has been no response from their side. Please take necessary action.

From Last sunday[protected] I was not supplied the English THE HINDU daily by your Agency. I don't know the Agency details as I have paid the Subscription Annually through online. So far the person was regularly supplying the newspaper from the month of MARCH 2016.
Kindly instruct the Agency person to deliver the newspaper regularly without any delay. Otherwise change the agency to supply the newspaper regularly to me.

My name is murugan
I have signed up for a yearly subscription of the hindu newspaper (Rs. 699) on 04.08.2016 through hindu paper agent a. Ponnambalam bearing mobile [protected]. He assured the subscription starts from 16.8.2016 but till date i haven't received a single copy of newspaper. Upon calling he is not mending nor heeding my words instead, sarcastically says to call customer care or look out for delivery boy and request him to deliver the news paper. Already 4 days have already passed. My order number is 189909.

There are errors in the daily newsprint in the kerala edition that is available for us. Repeated notification of the same had been done for which no response is seen from the local authority. Gross negligence and disowning of responsibility was seen from those who attended the calls. Newsprint is recorded and attached as evidence (21/8/2016 pg 1&7)

On[protected], i called hindu chennai. They redirected me to hindu calicut office. Got reply from officials at hindu calicut they will check and will call back. Till now i didn't get a call back. On[protected], i mailed to [protected]@thehindu.co.in, mentioning full details. On[protected] i called hindu chennai office. But is not receiving any favourable response. I want to get either news paper or my money back

For the last one week we are not getting any supplementary pages like metroplus, cinema plus etc and only main paper alone is delivered by the agent. When inquired, the agent informed that he is not getting the supplement along with main paper and is helpless. This reflects very bad on your organisation. The customers after paying full money for the paper should not be denied of suppliments.

It is unfair in the part of The Hindu, not supplying the supplement paper along with The Hindu news paper at Kalpakkam and Anupuram. Same is the case with me also. In case of such apathetic attitude of The Hindu, I will prefer to stop subscribing to The Hindu and continue on The Times of India.

The Supplements are restored by The Hindu but not the young world yet. We are paying for the city edition with without proper supplements issued by the Hindu.
I was subscribing to both The Hindu and The Times of India. My The Hindu subscription was more than 20 years and now due to this cheating attitude of The Hindu by taking city edition cost but stealing those suppliments, I have decided to discontinue The Hindu from Tomorrow (03/09/2016).

Thanks The Hindu, Let me know when your attitude has changed towards customers.

I had taken a hindu subscription for 6 months from 1st oct 2015 to march 31, 2016 with below details :-

I had requested for change of distributor in december 2015 (Ref. No. 042641) since paper was irregular.

After few days, i have stopped getting newspaper completely. Its been more than 7 months now. I have paid up my money in advance and have not received service. I am really disappointed by the service they have offered me.

Later hindu promised to provide newspaper for 3 months as compensation. But never got newspaper.

Then i requested, atleast refund back half of my money. They accepted to refund but till today there is no response, no call back, no follow-up and ofcourse no money. I am fed up. Please suggest, how can i get justice for my money. Its hard earned money.

please look into the issue urgently.even after multiple calls the hindu is not taking up any action nor the local newspaper vendor.I did not expect such kind of response towards the customer from The hindu.my subscription details are updated in the attached pic

I have subscribed to The Hindu newspaper on their website and made payment for 6 months. My subscription id is [protected]. I have not received the newspaper initially for almost a month. After a lot of follow up and mails, I finally started receiving the newspaper and the agent promised me that they would supply the newspaper for 1 year because of the inconvenience caused. The supply was very irregular. I have raised a lot of complaints by calling the customer care and also spoke to the agent. From the past 20 days, I have not been receiving the newspaper. I have called the customer care, sent emails but the problem is still not sorted. Also, I started getting messages that my subscription is going to expire which means they are not going to supply the paper for 1 year.

So, effectively, on subscribing for 6 months, I have got the supply only for 3 months.

It is just useless to rely on the company website or any kind of subscriptions. Best thing to do is to get a regular supply from a local vendor. By doing this, we can pay the bill based on the supply at the end of every month. Also, I have lost total interest in buying or even recommending The Hindu to anybody. Going to shift to Times Of India from now on.

Please dont prefer hindu paper service is not good and response is not good your hindu agent contact no [protected] from three months i didnot these paper apart from these i renewal these from 15days till now i didnt get these paper, friends please think and make a hindu customer nowadays money is more important

I subscribed to the Hindu newspaper hard-copy for 6 months plan. My subscription 🆔 is [protected] on January 21st .l have to get it from today but I didn't get the newspaper . Please note this and make arrangements to get it from tomorrow onwards(feb2nd).

I have subscribed for 1 year news paper on July 9th. Ideally, i should have received the paper from July 16th. Its been 10 days, i have not got paper. I have raised complaint at the hindu toll free number. They have taken just complaint, which has not been resolved yet although its been a week from complaint date.

I have only one question - "a leading responsible news paper group, who unable to resolve or unable to feel responsible for its own customers problem, then how come this news paper will resolve a nation issues?. "

Worst service and response from customer service also.

I get calls once in a week asking the paper getting delivered or not. But no paper come in the next. Again the same cycle of customer service reply stating the paper will be delivered.
