At Panayur, ECR, Seashore Town, Chennai- 600119 the daily is not properly delivered. Some days 2 days newspapers are delivered together. Several days only the main issue without the supplements are delivered. Please take it up with whoever is handling the delivery in this part of the city. Thanks.

I subscribed The Hindu newspaper thru online on Jan 05 21:57:27 IST 2016 for Door Delivery, they confirmed my subscription and i got Subscriber ID : [protected] & Hindu Reference ID : W20160105ESUB0069. But till date not even a single day paper has been delivered to my home and i have raised n no of complaints and request, but no body responded properly from customer care & i raised 3 complaints on this.
Complaint no:048889.

Please refund my money and cancel my auto pay transaction for year subscription or please start issuing the paper from tomorrow onwards, otherwise i have to take this legally against the Hindu.

There are abt 6-7 dogs roaming the streets at any time and It can rise to more than 10, sometimes. They are very violent and chase or bark violently at people. People can't walk in the street's bcoz they coming to bite them. Two days back one dog got injured and also other dogs going to fight with that dog. There are more than 10 children, in this street, aged below 3 and parents are reluctant to let their kids on the streets.I have already complaint this matter but no one have came to catch the dogs, so
Please take the necessary action.

I had paid for a 1 year subscription of the newspaper in October. & was supposed to get the paper from 1st November 2015. But it's been almost 3 months and I am yet to get the paper till date.. I have repeatedly tried to contact the company help desk, but all I got was some fake assurance from their part.
The company wants us to believe that the fault is not on their part, but it's of the local distributing agent.
But that sounds extremely vague and since I during payment approached the company directly without approaching any 3rd party, so I think that the company cannot deny their responsibility now.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the unprofessional attitude and don't want to continue with the subscription, I want the refund of the payment made along with the adequate compensation for blocking our money unethically for so long.

They have collected renewal amount from me and submitted the paper only for 20 days when i asked the person who collected the cheque from me he said to talk to vendor and when i contacted vendor he says no information on this and said to contact customer support even i have registered a complaint at customer support but no use fed up with these issues no response from any one till now fraud people don't take this subscription

I, Niranjhana Nayar, a resident of Flat 302, Block C, MS Ramiah Silicon Fields Apartment, Brookefield, Bengaluru, subscribed for the Newspaper THE HINDU on May 31, 2015 by online transaction having Billdesk Bank Reference ID : DHMP[protected], assigned a subscriber ID : [protected], Hindu Reference ID : W20150531ESUB0103, Amount [INR] : 748. I have not received the newspaper on even one day. I have made numerous calls to the customer care, and written numerous emails to The Hindu. When I asked for a refund, the only response I have received is "We will take the matter up with higher authorities". On top of this, I received a phone call last week checking if I wanted to renew my subscription. This is atrocious treatment of loyal readers by a leading newspaper. Kindly ensure that proper action is taken. I should receive either The Hindu for the next six months or a full refund.

I Gaurav Anand mobile no. [protected] took HINDU subscription from JULY 2015 by giving the cheque no. 000426, IDBI BANK(PIUSH KUMAR) . The newspaper got delivered at my old address : #72, 2nd main, 2nd Cross, Kumaraswamy Layout, Bangalore-560078 correctly by the vendor mobile no. [protected] till October. But after changing the address to : Flat no. 201, 2nd Floor, Navaneetha Residency, 3rd Main, Samrudhhi Layout, Near Kumaraswamy Layout, Opposite to Iskon, Bangalore -560078 the same vendor is making false promise to deliver the newspaper from past one month, but still he is not started delivering. Now he is not giving any detail or not picking up my calls also. Kindly do the needful and change my newspaper delivery to the new address by some good vendor.

Colony, Basavangudi, Bengaluru, subscribed for the Newspaper THE HINDU from October, 2015 by cheque Number 000040 dt. 03.10.2015 drawn on Bank of India favouring M/s Kasthuri & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, and I was receiving the paper without fail till 28.11.2015. From 29.11.2015 the paper was not supplied to me and I have till date spent Rs. 51.00 for buying the paper from stalls. Made a complaint to The Hindu through queries about subscription related queries and till date no response received from them though 6 days have passed. It id also evident that the distributor has sold the paper elsewhere. Proper action may kindly be taken for justice to me.

I am feeling very bad to report the kind of fraud happening under such a big name. They are taking advance money for full year subscription in the name of offer and then do not give newspaper to the consumer. I am chasing them for past 20 days. I have only received two copies till date after regular follow up and messaging. Now they have even stopped responding to my SMS. Why such a big newspaper company like The Hindu has to adopt such a immoral and shameful practice of collecting money ? Even I am not sure the The Hindu Management knows about it. I waited for couple of days and made a complaint. I didnt receive any update and then I again made a complaint on 1/12/2015. I called the customer care on 2/12/2015 and they told me I will receive it today but it is the same. Now when I call the customer care no one is taking the call. I am from Bangalore & I've subscribed THE HINDU through their promotional offer for the period of 1 Year which suppose to start from Feb 2015, but I started getting the paper only from May 2015 after regular follow-up with them. Now suddenly from Oct 15, I am not getting the paper. It is almost 2 months over now, still I am regularly writing emails to their Customer care but there is NO proper resolution.
