The Hindu people has taken check from me for 1 year newspaper, and told that you will be getting paper by 16th sep. till now i didnot get any news paper. whenever i am calling to hindu office, they are telling tomorrow again and again. and also giving other person number which is not contactable.

My subscription number for Tamil Hindu is [protected]. I have paid in advance and my subscription is valid till 15th Oct, 14. The paper is not delivered from 1st Oct on wards. I have complained to Tiruchy Hindu office but with no result. There is always service deficiency when we pay money in advance. Kindly attend to my complaint and rectify. Regards. R.Prabhudoss.

There is a news paper agent near my place, from where I asked to deliver The Hindu newspaper daily. He charges Rs.30 extra every month for delivery charges. He says he is not getting profit from the rate specified in the paper. He is the only vendor in this area, so i don't have any choice. Please look into the matter. Sir, We have placed an order for Hindu daily news paper for one year subscription on 25.04.2014, vide Order No.VZ 815971 dated 25.04.2014 and implementation from 1st may 2014.Accordingly, news paper delivery affected from the same date. In many occasions the paper was not delivered. Since, 27th August, 2014 continuously stopped the delivery of news paper to my residence. The same was complined over telephone Number[protected] and also to the agent Mr.Ramana murty, Cell:[protected]. There is no proper response to my call. Since, I have paid full amount for 1 year under the scheme, I am supposed to get 1 year news paper.This is laps of your services, If you are not in a position to attend my grievance, I am forced to approach consumer forumVisakhapatnam for redressal of my grievance. I hope, you will not give such a scope and address my grievance immediately under intimation to my email. Horrible customer service. Every time we renew the subscription but the newspapers are not delivered properly, sometimes for a month! It's like The Hindu is arrogant about its reputation. I knew that I wasn't the only one suffering and there are a lot of same complaints. Shame on you Vizag office for your pathetic services. Shame on you!! I will give two examples about the arrogant behavior of The Hindu employees. EX 1: This was in June. I am preparing for UPSC exams and unfortunately Hindu is the go-to paper for that. Few days they haven't delivered the paper and when my father complained about it, the Hindu employees said the subscription is discounted. So we will give you papers whenever we can. I mean what the hell!! Then take the full subscription and give the paper everyday! EX 2: Again not getting the paper since September 14th. Today is Day 11. I am calling them everyday. Lazy people come in at 10 and when I tell them the paper is not delivered all they say do is give a couple of phone numbers and ask me talk to some "employees". Is this a game or what?? Even after all of that nobody hasn't delivered the godforsaken paper yet!!! Again, Shame on you!!

I have subscribed for 06 months offer of THE HINDU newspaper for paying Rs 400.00.initially the paper was delivered for 04 days after that it was stopped.after repeated complaining it was again delivered for 06 days.then it was totally stopped.the local office and the agent was not buther about it and even they donot pick the call also.

today also daily Hindu paper was not delivered to my address. It is the most pathetic service I ever seen in the distribution of the news paper. I don't know who is responsible and I even list bother about it. As a customer if I paid the subscription then I must get the daily news paper. Some odd day it is expected and acceptable also. but here the case is quite different. NO BODY IS BOTHER TO CORRECT THE LOOSE LINK.

Hello, I have availed a 1-year subscription of The Hindu NewsPaper dated 15th July '14 for the period 16.08.2014 - 15.08.2015. Receipt no. - CMADU[protected] Subscription no. - 512770 But the paper was not delivered for the last three days since Monday. I had called your Madurai region office(your front office assistant and the Manager) to raise a complaint and after a number of follow-ups, i was promised that the paper would be delivered today which has not happened. Can you please let me know why this has happened. I have been a subscriber of this newspaper for the past 25 years and this is the first time such an issue ever happened to me and in any case, I need the supply of this newspaper again from tomorrow. I've taken out an annual subscription in Bangalore, Order# TH117098, which is valid upto 11/11/2014 As someone mentioned in a complaint, I too receive my copy 5-6 days a week especially since July 2014. Even otherwise, newspaper delivery has been irregular. Every week now, I spend money calling up the agent and each time he has a different reason: - Your subscription has expired - Did not receive annual subscriber's list - Did not receive copies for circulation - Delivery boy is new, so he missed your house - Subscription was terminated in some other house; delivery boy thought it was yours A few times I was given The Times instead of The Hindu. I'm completely stressed out having to call the agent and the Hindu customer support alternatively. Please rectify this immediately.

Sir the News paper agent collects an additional amount of Rs.25 to Rs.30/ per month as service charge ?? Is it allowed by the company?? I reside at Vellappanchavadi in a a complex of 500 flats!!! (30*500=15000 ?) Kindly resolve the issue before I stop subscribing to The Hindu after my association with the paper for the last 35 years!

I have paid to deliver the hindhu daily at my office and my home in kottayam, kerala. I had made the payment by different cheques and the same has been cleared almost 2 months back. But i am not getting the newspapers at any of my two locations. Either you start to deliver the same immediately or refund the money stolen from my account for the purpose. I'm Professor P H Anand a continuous reader of THE HINDU (English daily) for the past four decades. Recent days I'm getting the Tamil Issue of THE HINDU very often. This brings a discontinuity of reading habit of ENGLISH THE HINDU. I have already raised an issue of delay due to several insertion by the agent and using THE HINDU for his own benefits and even still continuing. When I contacted the agent Mr. Kannan and raised the issue for issuing tamil The Hindu, he has talked with me in a threatening manner. I request that the above matter shall be enquired and please see that daily issue of THE HINDU English, to contine my reading habit. Dr.P.
