[Resolved] Think & Learn / Byju's — Fraud and delay in refund
On 06.05.2017, we were approached by some Mr Heera Jaan from Byjus. Day before yesterday we had received a call from Byjus regarding the same. The person called Mr Heera Jaan was very talkative and was quite smart. He approached us first saying that he wants to analyse my child. We being gentleman allowed him for 4 hours at our house and in turn he convinced us that we should enroll our child in think and learn programme of Byjus. We agreed. He sent us a link and we made a payment of Rs 43200 towards that.Later on we had suspicion regarding his personality. So we searched for him on social networking sites like Facebook, linked in and found that the person was a big fraud.
First of all he told that he was a B TECH FROM IIT Kharagpur and he will be mentor of my child. But we found that he was a graduation of some other college and immediately when we called him he told that he has done so to make an initial impact on us.
Secondly he told that he had come from Banglore and on the same day he had to return also.
We were quite impressed but later on, through social networking sites only we came to know that he had come from Hyderabad only and this also he told that he was lying to make an initial impact on us
The question is, if Byjus classes has teachers like this, what they will be teaching to the child. And is Byjus Classes telling it's employees to make impact on their customers by means of lies, cheating and fraud.
Was really frustrated and decided not to put my kid in an institute that makes relationship based on fraud, cheating and lies.
A request was made for refund on 07.05.2017 but they did not respond properly. After that started a series of torcher. They show so much reluctance in cancelling your order.
Today they told that I have to send back the product first. I told I have not received the product.Then they asked for bank account details which was given to them at 10 AM today, on 09.05.2017.
On their website it is written that if the payment has been done through internet banking it will automatically be credited back to the account. But they demanded the account details for refund. Again when called after submitting the account details, they told that I had to mail it on separate ID. After lot of pursuing they told that the refund team is not there today. Why refund team will not be there today on tuesday.It seems they want to make me tired so that I stop following them up and they eat my money.
It seems that they have captured the entire education business on the basis of fraud and cheating.

The complain was shared on facebook also. We received a call regarding refund within 7 days, but on my insistence it was refunded quickly.
