I paid rs 33500 for a multi-currency card and it never worked through-out my trip while i was abroad. I struggled for 15 days straight with attempts to contact them but they kept sending me useless resolution. On the very last day of my trip (While i was at the airport), they confirmed that the card cannot be activated because only 1 card can work per passport.

My issue here is:
1. I had asked this specifically twice when i enquired about getting a card and i was assured that this wont be a problem.

2. It took them 2 weeks to figure this out.

Anyway, there is no compensation fit enough to make me forget the horrors of being stuck in a foreign land without enough funds. Luckily, i had my debit & credit cards which worked there. Obviously, i incurred hefty charges on it, which thomas cook agreed to pay along with the exact amount i paid to buy the multi-currency card from them. At first, i was happy to see that they are considerate and accepting their fault.

Alas! They paid me a portion of money back and when i asked for the reason behind their inability to fulfill their commitment, they stopped responding. It's been 8 weeks since i have been following-up with them post return from my trip. And its been 2 weeks since i am waiting for an explanation from them.

This is sad man. Usually these guys are very customer pro… Have you tried writing to their customer care? I wrote to service.[protected]@thomascook.com a while ago for multi currency card related queries and it was quickly resolved… I think you should give it a try.

They helped me a lot.

I did write many emails and have made several calls, but nothing has worked. They haven't even responded. Finally, I escalated the complaint to their Manager (as per he escalation matrix on their website) and got a response that a credit has been made. Sadly, they are referring to the partial refund and not the remaining amount that they owe me. I am re-escalating things now.

    Dated 27/june17 thomas cook agent calll me for hongkong visa issue and gave assurance that there expert team will issue visa for me which is which is blocked by hongkong immigration deppt now a days for every kolkata people paid rs 2300/- for ther charges which is totally free if we want honkkong visa online. Inspite of this on there repeated assurance and i am the needy person. So piad them. (Booking ref no-visc022409 and tcvps no-w[protected]). After 3-4 days when i contact them, they do not gave any response. Finally they mail me and refuse to provide me a visa.
    Since my ticket are already purchased and they make me fool in the last movement. I mail them to refund my money at least but they refuse

      Dear sir,

      We were in talk with mr mayur for srilanka trip of 9 people and we were given quotation of rs 2.31 lac by mr. Mayur and same day at night we paid rs 20k for advance as your person said that he will book ticket and after payment on same time he confirmed that mayur has booked ticket as well as hotel for us and we gave all document to him via email than on monday he said that payment was not received and now i will charge more 10k in package than we said him that plz check amount has been done already 2 days before and after proof, he agreed that he got payment, so will not take more 10 k now, than we asked him to send details of bank for sending rest money than he didnot reply and after 2 days he called that he need more 1.14 lac more than quotation, and we said that you cant ask more money as final quotation you have given as well as on behalf of quotation we have already paid advance amount but he said that i made a mistake and now i will charge more 1.14 lac than said and when we said him to confirm over email, he did it very hardly after many request and said only one help that i will refund you your token if you will be polite to me, than we said him to be on old rates as we had already paid but he denied and after that finally my friend said him that as you are asking more amount after final quotation and email and we cant give it as you are doing fraud so give me my amount.

      Plz tell how can one person in your reputed company can do such type of fraud to client and even if he says that if you are not polite than your 20k is also waste and my friend was frightened to him badly and in mental shock that how can one ask more than 1 lac after commitment by such big brand company, mr mayur made my friend compell and gave her mental shock and panic to that extent to write that plz give us our money so that he can save his safe handed and need not to give us package,
      Plz check and solve issue sir,
      We never want refund, as we have booked to intention to go but your people are very unfair and cheat clients,

      Plz take necessary action and give us fair trip as we want to continue, but not with such fraud mr mayur, but with company, so that people belief in thomas cook cannot come to an end, it was worst experience with thomas cook

      Plz arrange same trip as per commitment made by your person on behalf of company


      I expect fair deal by thomas cook, not mental troma by him given to me and my friend mrs rajni saini without any reason and due to your won person mistake.

      Plz find all screen shot so that you can understand what your person has done


      Plz check and take necessary action so that i need not to proceed further in social media and my faith can be on thomas cook always

        I had applied for a group tour to usa starting 21.06.2017, the tour was organised by you, so i applied for us visa through your jaipur office, upon applying they asked me to deposit rs. 1, 00, 000/- toawrds first instalment so that they could process the visa request, however, my visa was rejected and consequently i could not go for the tour. Now the problem is that they are not refunding my amount after deducting the visa application charges, they are saying that they had made the bookings and evrything, when my visa was not there how could they make the booking, and even if they made then why am i supposed to pay for that, they made the bookings let them suffer, i want my refund asap otherwise i'll not be liable for the consequences that thomas cook has to face.

          I have tried to book ticket twice from thomas cook and after making successful payment, money has been deducted but booking status is showing as failed.

          I spoke to customer care and they are asking for extra payment then only they will confirm my ticket. They have not mentioned anywhere during process of payment that price has been increased.

          I tried twice and i spent almost rs.24000 and customer care is saying if i pay extra then, they will only confirm my ticket else if i go for cancellation they will refund money in 8 to 10 working days.

          I am not sure, why thomas cook is cheating customer like this. This is another way of making customer fool and charging extra. Thomas cook is keeping customer's money for failed transaction for earning interest.

          This is one of the cheapest way of earning money by thomas cook. It is better to beg on roadside rather than cheating customer like this.

          They are even not refunding amount within a day or two so that i can book another ticket from some other good reputed website, not like thomas cook.

          I will not suggest anyone to book flight or hotel from thomas cook.

            I booked a group package to hongkong macau for 22 june 2017.just one day before boarding i was informed that my visa was rejected due to wrong information filled on visa form.my agent knew about this and didn't informed us before and took full payments and confirmed all the bookings.on asking the senior agents they said that he was informed about it on 3rd june.we asked him to refund our money but he told that he will adjust the money for some other place. We even approved with the given conditions.he said that they will try their best for minimum reduction for cancellation.but till date i didn't got any calls from the company. I again tried to contact them but they said they are trying and trying .my relatives whose visas were approved told me that my bookings are not yet cancelled and alloted them the room keys.on telling this to the agents they still said that bookings have been cancelled. If my bookings have been cancelled then why are they not telling me the deducting amount..the hongkong macau tour has come to an end and my problem has not yet being solved.they don't receive my calls .. i continuously call them but they dont pick my calls.
            They are fooling me on every point.
            is this the way to treat the clients .
            I even registered my complaint on feedback form which is online but no one contacted ..
            Poor expirence with such a renowned company

              As tour group members of thomas cook (Extra vaganar europ tour) you all are witness to loss of my wifes (Madhubla bhandari) suitcase from the coach of thomas cook which was loaded at paris railway station cort side the paries raliway station where coach was parked in the presence of coach manager mr. Milind, coach driver mr. Petar and all our troup memebrs.

              On arrival at paris pullman hotel out of my 3 baggages only two baggages recevied. One baggages lossed which belong to my wife (Madhubala bhandari) on 9nt april 2017. This incident has spoilt the vacation, thomas cook being the best trip organisor, we have decidied to go with it, we expect compensation for the loss.

              In order to take action on loss of baggages to file an f. I. R by suggestion of tour manager mr. Milind f. I. R was filed at effil tour police station stating that baggage was lossed at effil tour (Cantaining 600/- euros in cash +jewellaryes +her shoes +20 paris of clothes etc...)

              As you all know that it is responsibility of thomas cook tour manager and coach driver to take care of our baggage when it is in the coach, which i think was not fulfilled by the precent tour manager mr. Milind and coach driver.

              Also attaching the signature of all tour member who are witness of the incident.

              Please help me in getting compensation for loss of my baggage.

                Dear support,

                I am highly disappointed and sad by the behavior and professional ethics shown by your team. Your team does not realize that your are losing business by refusing to provide services in a transparent manner.

                My request to book filght for delhi-bangalore (Reference no : fb1541566), was first accepted, payment was done by me, and a acceptance mail was sent to me regarding the same. I got assured that flight was booked, but later another mail was sent stating that flight can not be booked as price has increased by this time.

                Firstly, if i made payment for the flight on the amount shown at the time of booking and booking is done, how can you cancel my ticket stating the reason that price has increased? Are you not responsible for quoting the correct price. Customer will only pay what your system shows at time of booking. It is highly unprofessional on your part to cancel a booking for this reason. Its your respnosibility to sent me the ticket at the stated price.
                Now, you have cancelled my booking and my amount is also stuck with you! I hope you understand the frustration you are causing to the customer.

                It makes a strong case to go to legal authorities so that they can show you the mirror and tell you how to follow business ethics. If you do not provide me a solution asap (Which is providing me a ticket at same price) i am taking this case to consumer court and will also make sure that people come of know of your money-first and customer-last mindset as i am going to spread it on social media with all the communication that i had with you!

                  Yesterday, i have booked ticket for del-blr that time price was showing around 2600 rs on thomascook.in and after that payment was deducted.

                  After an hour i have got email from zain sayed that we are unable to do ticket because ticket price has increased. So, please see the mail and provide me ticket. I have called to customer care in this regarding mrs sahna has revived my call and put on hold and told me we cant provide you ticket on same price and we can only refund me if you want or you can complaint any where. So, please provide. I have talked to sr executive umaira and she told me you will need to wait for money working 3 to 4 days.

                    Booked a package for singapore and malaysia on 9/3/2017 for our tour in 8/5/2017 and returning on 15/5/2017 our flight was from bhubaneswar to kualumpur and kul to singapore, again return was from kul also to bbsr. As we are going first to malaysia and then next flight to singapore after a gap of 2hours but the agent of thomas cook has issued a visa for malaysia single entry, aftrr reaching there we wre bound to immigrate, thn again we hav to check in for the flight to singapore, for this our visa is used and as we again hav to come back on 12/5/2017 to kualumpur for a 3 days stay tour to kul and catch flight on 15/5/2017, we just in a situation and out of mind what to do how to return again to kul, we called the agent and there said we can't do anything, as professional people like thomas cook raised up there hands in this lyk situation in abroad lyk place, as we dependen on ur company totally for tour. Some how we returned to kul and paid on arrival visa extra money around 7000/-, our tour was total spoiled and gone through a situation which can't b explained. I hope my

                      14 days europe extravaganza tour
                      17/5 - 31/5/2017 - file no[protected]

                      Rs 20300 excess charged as enhanced 4.5% service tax (Not charged from 20 other group members) due to miscommunication.

                      In addition to mismanaged tour in certain areas, like non provide of jain food (Committed) for 6-7 times, not adhering to promised itinerary (Like london eye & lords cricket ground & change of guard not shown), thomas cook reluctant to refund rs 20300 extra charged. I tried to send e mail to their customer care but not accepting as box is full.

                        I have booked an east european damaka package. From the beginning.. There is no proper following up and correspondence from the concerned agents. We had to contact them in return for the booking of flight tickets, visa slot scheduling and every action to be taken by them. We have our flights booked on june 8, 6am and we still haven't received our visa yet. When we tried contacting the executives and the concerned departments for atleast re-scedulin, nobody is ready to take the responsibility. Even the high end authorities were not of any help. Please do the needful

                          It is for malaysia e visa service, wherein the service provider, i. E. Thomas cook provided me wrong information and thereby looted my hard earned money.

                          At the time of payment, i was told that the embassy charges are 3000 rs and service charges are 1000rs, however, once i receive the invoice later, the embassy charges came out to be only 1000rs. Now, thomas cook is not refunding rest of the embassy charges (I. E. 2000 rs) which does not belong to them. They have already received their service charges. Please help

                            I had booked europe tour with m/s thomas cook, (Shakespeare sharani branch) vide my tour id g[protected] on 16/02/2017 for me and my wife. The travel plan consisted of travel to london, paris, switzerland, itally (Venice & rome).

                            According to the advice of m/s thomas cook we had submitted all the details in their prescribed format on 04/03/2017. We were called for uk visa on 03/05/2017. My uk visa completion was very late and schengen visa call is yet to be received. The scheduled departure is today i. E 06/06/2017.

                            On 03/06/2017, i have been intimated by m/s thomas cook (I) ltd, kolkata that the uk tour starting 06/06/2017 is not possible in our case. Today we been proposed an alternative date on 20/06/2017 and at the same time compensation has been demanded.

                            The booking was package deal including visa processing, travel, logistics, hotel etc. It was a contract between us and m/s thomas cook (I) ltd for the designated tour at an agreed cost. M/s thomas cook (I) ltd has to ensure that contract is fulfilled within that cost. At the time of booking nothing was told about the compensation for no fault of me like the present case. Hence i am not supposed to pay any extra amount.
                            I fact had it been told that i will have to make extra payment for such as it is now where i am not at fault i would not have gone for this tour at all.

                            This is highly injustice on me as a customer. More over i am a retired senior citizen. It is very difficult for me to pay any extra amount.

                            Accordingly i request the right authority m/s thomas cook (I) ltd to look into the matter, and ensure that we can avail the rescheduled tour without any extra payment.

While we were expecting to get the visa within 15-18 days as per the assurance from visa office and were following the matters with the liasoning manager of thomas cook with no definite answer, suddenly received a call from visa office on 21/05/2017. They adviced us to once more come with the original document to visa office for rescanning. We turned up on 22/05/2017 and the rescanning was done. The concerned officer there assured us for uk visa availability within 5 to 6 working days.
                              To day 6 working days have already passed. We are yet to receive uk visa confirmation. This is a very tormenting situation considering the fact that our schengen visa processing will follow this uk visa confirmation and our scheduled departure is 6th june 2017. Therefore there is hardly any time left out with us. We also require some minimum time for next processes like forex collection and others. We are senior citizens and hence coming under lot of mental pressure due to huge delay in the visa processing for no fault o[censored]s.

                              We request the concerned high official of thomas cook to take up the matter with the visa processing department very strongly to expedite the matter.

                                Pathetic customer service ever... No one is bothered... All you are concerned are money... U take full payment and then don't even care... Transportation not given... No courtesy to inform... People drop us in middle of road... And then ask us to take taxi... People say there are no hidden charges for toy train but had to pay full amount inspite of not availing it... Anoop from thomas cook is a wrong person for this job...                                   Dear sir, we had been regulatr customer of thomas cook. This is wrt my dubai trip start from 26/05/2017 to 31/05/2017. Booking id g[protected], paid all the dues and submitted all the document required but so far no any communication. Inspite of n nos. Of times speaking with customer care but no responce. Contact person never pick up my calls. As we are staying much away from mumbai, boarding point, i need to take print of visa/hotel voucher and tkt, need time atleast 3 day my journey from my place to mumbai and seeing mail and taking print. Please help me to see that i get proper responce from thomas cook.
                                  Infuture, i will be very careful with thomas cook dealing.

                                    We had booked Scandinavian and Russia tour with Thomas Cook. The tour got cancelled last minute by Thomas Cook. They are taking months and lots of follow up to get the refund as we paid entire tour amount. Also the main issue is they are not refunding the entire amount we paid them. Also they don't reply to emails and don't pickup phone

                                      Claim for damages of RS. 70, 000/- for the mental agony, torture and wasting valuable time in following up discussing with people who are not bothered of providing service to its customer -

                                      I Commenced my booking on 28/04/17 for hongkong trip with payment of booking amount of rs. 45000 with Thomas Cook India Limited - online services/ vertical. After that i received no communication regarding the trip for next 3 days just received calls for all sort of communication. wanted the file to get transferred to the city where i reside. no one budged to even reply to my requirements. sent emails starting from 29/04/17, 01/05/17, 05/05/17, 09/05/17, 10/05/17, 11/05/17 and many more. None of the people in the emails bothered to revert or acknowledge. Further, while calling on the desk numbers provided, the person responding had no clue about the case. The Sales Head Ms. Anita Shete was in loop for last 3 emails. Tried to call her personally on her landline, to connect her through mobile, text messages, and whatever and wherever possible, however, she did not bother to revert back or even acknowledge the issue. Such pathetic is the service of Thomas Cook. I tried getting in touch with the Sales Head Ms. Anita Shete through land line finally one more time and i was then transferred to service quality manager Ms. Priyanka Koshi after a series of 3-4 transfer from department to department. She assured me of the required resolution. Had some hopes of things moving, however, another day went off. I finally got a call from her subordinate Mr. Arfat and he too was unaware of the case in totality and wanted some time to read and understand before resolving my request to transfer the file. A lot of 2 weeks went off just to understand where do I stand with respect to my bookings. Finally on 12th May 2017 late evening around 8pm on Friday I get a telephonic call from Mr. Arfat that the tour booked by me is called off and they shall refund the money. I asked for an alternate options or dates. He again assured me that he shall get back by 13th afternoon with options available. However, there was no response from Thomas Cook end. Further, their respective landlines are not picked up nor do they respond. I was kept in the hanging for another 2 days as it was weekend and no one was available. Finally again on 15th May 2017 sent an email to the Service Quality & Customer Care Manager Ms. Priyanka Koshi about no formal communication about the calling off of the tour which is schedules for 26th May 2017 departure from Mumbai. I have lost 20 days of precious time and could have booked with some other tour operator had it been timely informed about the contingency nature of the tour booked. Further the cancellation was not informed on time. I lost 15 days in following up with Thomas Cook personnel through telephone as well as through internet. I have the chain of emails sent from time to time. This has been really a mental torture all over and I seek damages of Rs. 50000 for what all i have gone through. Today for me to book a different tour I have to pay additional Rs. 70, 000 for which I will make Thomas Cook Limited responsible and claim damages of Rs. 70, 000/-. And in case the damages are not paid along with refund of the deposit amount, the chain emails and the service issues and mental torture and wasting precious time of a professional for following up and trying to connect the right person, case will be filed with the consumer forum. i have been cooperative in all respects and also been patient and wanted Thomas Cook to give me options, however the situation was as if I was working out options and they were taking time to even revert back on options.

                                        We seven adults of a family availed Australia Extravaganza tour ending 18/4/2017.
                                        While booking the tour we were offered a Discount of Rs 7000- person subject to the fact that we pay the total cost of the tour 3 months before the start of the tour.
                                        And we.paid the total cost of the tour for five people.
                                        When we started our tour on 7/4/2017 we were told that the discount refund would be made the moment we return back after completing the tour.
                                        The tour ended on 18/4/2017 itself but no refunds have been made by Thomas Cook. till date in spite of our constant persuasions and request to all concerned.
                                        Please look into the case and oblige.
