The TOI newspaper shows an article in their newspaper on Date . The article has a clear mention of Ved Pathashala involved in Human Trafficking in their headlines. The news report fails to mention any evidence to include the Ved pathashala name in headlines. TOI themselves understand this and therefore change the online article. I, being a consumer of TOI news, feel deceived that TOI fails to mention that their news is Fake or Mis-representation of facts.

Mr. Debabrata of Toi came to me on 28th nov. 2017 and took a cheque of Rs. 240/- from me and promised me to deliver 12 magazines from Dec 2017 to Nov 2018. But after six months there is no magazine. I got up to May 2018. From June onwards I contacted that fellow at least 1000 times. But he did nothing. So now what to do? R u returning my money? He is not receiveing my call from last few days.

"11-year old boy's rescue reveals 'trafficking' prevalent at madrassas, Veda pathshalas", where the story is about a rescued 11 year old boy from Bihar, suspected to be trafficked after he escaped from a "madrassa" in kodungayur.

Complaints regarding the article:
1. Title adds "Veda pathshalas" which is not involved/related to the reported story.

2. Irrelevant term "Veda pathshalas" added to divert/reduce the impact of the main issue/organization stated in the story.

3. No supported events, incidents, similar stories involving "Veda pathshalas" are stated in the article, thereby making the inclusion of it in the title completely baseless and manipulated.

I had issued cheque amounting Rs. 795 in favour of 'Times of India' for subscription of newspaper for a period of 18 months against that i was to issued respective coupons. The cheque got cleared on 29.09.2017 but till date i haven't yet received respective coupons. Now, my newspaper hawker says that my subscription is going to expire next month while it is supposed to expire in April, 2019.

Kindly look into the matter and arrange to deliver coupons at the earliest at my address ie. E-21, 3rd Floor, Moti Nagar, New Delhi-110015.

Times of india renewal amount has been collected and also it got debited from my account on July 2 2018. Still the subscription has not started. Here is the compliant number [protected]. While calling the given helpline number[protected], they are disconnecting the call without answering. I dont require such kind of followups for subscription matters. I kindly request to cancel the subscription and refund the amount. The person should be responsible for making the delivery smooth when he is intended in collecting the amount.

I susbscribed to TOI for several years.
Last year also subscription started after 20 days and TOI said that compensation would be given by extend the date in this year.

This year extention is not happening for me. so i lost 20+ days and i was cheated by TOI or Area Manager or Agent

In the same way, I have paid subscription and my subscription suppose to start on 1st July 2018 and till date i didnt receive any TOI.

I called consumer complaints[protected] and registered comlaints ([protected] dt.12.07.2018 / [protected] dt 13.07.2018 /[protected] dt.1307.2018 / [protected] dt 14.07.2017) for past three days, till date no response from their side.

I request to cancel the subscription that too not happened.

Since, I am very much frustrated, dont want to get TOI hereafter.

Note: No one from TOI has called me or mail or SMS me except these acknowledgement SMS.

It seems you are trying to reply to my mail without reading it properly. What scan copy are you speaking of. Please do not mention the number[protected] because I tried for two days and I have mentioned below what was happening. Later I found some numbers from Google and spoke to one Disha and she asked me to call Pawan but of no use.

Let me explain you once again what has happened. In Oct2017 our TOI subscription ended and we called several times the TOI numbers and we spoke to Diksha, Hardik and they told us that the person will come and collect the cheque (You can check the call records and you will find these calls in Nov2017). After that also we kept calling. Meanwhile there was a vendor change and we asked the new vendor that when we get the coupons we will give it to him. Eventually we had to pay cash Rs.2500 for no fault o[censored]s to the vendor. Now when I found the new numbers and called them Diksha and Pawan they refuse to renew the subscription from Nov2017. Why should the customer suffer due to the carelessness of TOI customer care staff who is being paid and not doing their job properly. Diksha clearly told me that their is a call in Nov2017 and we had noted her name when we called but now they say it might have been a mistake but you start subscription from now onwards. Hope you read my mail and understand the problem and offer a suitable resolution and punish the errant staff.

I have paid yearly subscription for TOI and I am not getting news paper for last one month. I have been calling the supplier but till now no paper is received.

Pay back my subscription amount or make necessary changes for daily paper to be received.

My name is Anu and Few months back one of my client/customer did some fraud using the data services that i provided them.i got arrested too for investigation.There was no fault from my side as i was selling data according to my job responsibilty and that work is legal in India..Investigation team has released my photo along with those criminals and then same story published in TOI as well.My image has spoiled without any of my fault and its very demotivating to see those news on online portal.Could you please suggest whom can i meet in TOI to discuss the case and remove my name from this.As a responsible newspaper i believe you should publish details of criminals and not for innocent.I worked with TOI too in past never had any issue .Please please help.

Till date newspaper has not started despite repeated complaints. The dealer who took cheque Mr Kuberan has also started misbehaving on reminder and asked me to go to TOI office and take money back as he was only responsible to collect money and not delivery of newspaper

Please advise. Should I go to consumer court or social media..

I was a subscriber of Times of India newspaper for a long time, but had to stop the newspaper because it started getting delivered beyond 7:30 am.The vendor used to deliver beyond 8:30 am, and it wasn't possible for me to read as I had to leave for office. The vendor wasn't ready to deliver on or before 7:30 am

On searching for another vendor, I realized that there is one vendor for one area and the vendor in another area wasn't ready for a conflict.

Although there have been assurances from the vendor in my area to sort out the issue, he hasn't actioned anything so far.

Please help .

But last year I did not receive the coupons beginning Jan 2017 for 15 months. Instead the coupons received by me were in the name of "Madan Mohan A-75 Budhnagar, Inderpuri, Mobile [protected]". I did contact the person who booked the subscription and told him about this mistake. My address is " Dr. RG Sharma, A-75 Inderpuri, Mayank House, New Delhi" and not Budhnagar.

I did not receive the coupons in my name and now the vendor of the newspaper is asking me for payment for 15 months. Cn you please checkup your record where my coupons were delivered and who got them cashed?

I also request you to please send me Duplicate Coupons for the above period of 15 months which I can hand over to the vendor.

I hope you take quick action so that I can have confidence in TOI and continue to be a subscriber.

Note added:
One Mr. Amit Bhardwaj ([protected]) contacted me and promised to solve the problem. Again I contact him on July 9th when he promised to call me in 10 minutes but received no call. I called him again today 10th July but not 'reachable' whole day.

Please advise how do I get the coupons for 15 months beginning Jan. 2017 ? I also wanted to get the booking renewed if the present problem is resolved.

I have done the online renewal of Times of India news paper subscription BP No. [protected] by paying Rs 1470/- online through UPI payment (linked with ICICI bank). The transaction has done on 16/05/2018 and it was successful and the payment deducted from my bank account and also i got the "sms" from the bank. Unfortunately till date i have not received any confirmation of my subscription renewal from Times of India.
In this regard i had made several phone calls to times of India customer care as well as sent emails to several officials . but it is not yet resolved. Since my existing subscription was expired on 30th June 2018, the vendor has intimated me, he will discontinue the news paper.
It is requested your office to kindly resolve this issue and renew my subscription at the earliest or otherwise refund the money back

On 17-may-2018 I have given a cheque to sales person Amit Mishra for yearly subscription. Till now I have not recieved the coupons whereas I was told that would come within 30 days.

Now the vendor is continuously asking me to pay him the money instead coupon. I am regularly calling Amit Mishra but his no. Is either not reachable or switched off. His no. Is:- [protected].

I have paid for annual subscription of times of india delhi and the amount also got deducted but now the vendor is denying for the delivery of news paper.
He is asking coupan in advance and 30 rs for each month i. E 360 rs for 1 year in once so plz #toi request to you take some action asap and deliver my news papers asap. It is already late i have coupan from 15 may 2018

I have been suffering from inconsistent delivery of the daily news paper for the last 2 years.
I had complained about this last year during the annual renewal and the distribution executive confirmed that the delivery agent would be changed. He infact got the voucher with the name of the new agent but the issue continued. The paper delivery continued to be inconsistent with no action. To top it the vendor was very rude when i complained to him about this.

The next year when i renewed is when i got to know that the agent was never changed on the ground. I refused to renew so again the circle head called personally and came and took the cheque. But the old vendor kept coming for the voucher. When i complained i was told that the boss of the circle head was refusing to change the agent and that i have to live with whom they allot.
Its again 3rd day in a row with no paper (3rd time since the renewal in may'18) and all mails are only reverted false promises and no action.

I want an apology from times with financial compensation for waste of time and agony over the 2 years.

Dear sir,
With reference to the above complaint id, it is further to tell that every time when i post my comment, it comes that a verification mail has been sent, but i never receive any verification mail or any message. I am not able to understand the problem, and also not clear what is happening in my comments, are these being published or not?

I have paid for renewal fee for times of india annual subscription. My customer id is #32919907. I have not received news paper for past 20 days. I am following up with customer care for past two weeks. They have raised a new complaint each time without followup of existing complaints.
