Timtara Complaints & Reviews

Timtara is a fraud site which posts items on its websites which it does not sell. Once the consumer pays for such product, they keep on delaying the order giving false assurances. In the process, they earn interest on the amount paid in advance. After getting frustrated for months, consumers have no option but to cancel the order and ask for refund. They also do not cancel the order immediately and refund the amount and keep on delaying.

I had ordered an AO Smith Geyser SBS-25 vide Order no. 10345978 dated 30.10.2012 and paid Rs. 8900/-. Till date they have not delivered the order. While now I have cancelled the order and purchased the product from open market, they have not yet responded to my numerous requests for order cancellation and refund. The order status is showing "awaiting shipment" since 30th October, 2012. They have shutdown their email address for receving complaints and you have to post your complaint on their website, which they delete immediately without recording it. There customer sevice personnel are trained to speak lies again and again to enable them to delay the execution of the orders, and thereby earn more interest on the amount paid. Once their personnel informed me that the delay is because of the manufacturer who has not shipped the item. But when I called up the AO Smith manufacturing office at Bangalore, they informed me that they do not have any selling arrangement with Timtara.com. This has nailed their lie.

It is a completely fraudulent website and I urge customers not to fall in their trap and should not purchase any product from their website.

I ordered Micromax A100 from timtara for 9000 on 07 september 2012. order id is 10321932, They did not deliver the product even in october and they canceled the order due to shortage of product and they told with in a week amount will be refunded.. now after around 3 months also they are not refunding my amount. if i call them they are not responding properly. Please find a attached screen shot and do justice for me.

I have placed an order in TIMTARA.com worth 27790/- on[protected]. They stated that it will be delivered in 15 to 20 business days. So far 2 months completed. I am not getting any response from them atleast the expecetd date of delivery. I called customer care and asked to cancel the order. They accepted and said it will take 3 days to complete the cancellation procedure and the same will be intimated over call/mail. Again no response atleast whether it has cancelled or not. I would like to file a complaint against this fraud. Please help ! I have the bill with me and all the transaction details.

This is to bring in your kind notice about the unethical practice adopted by Timtara.com. This is one of the e-commerce site offering multiple electronic product to the customer. On 5th September 2012, I ordered a microwave IFB25PG2S whose order number is10320656. I wished to change the order due to some functional lacking, it was declined so I cancelled the order on 10th September 2012. Since then it took the 30 days to officially cancel the order which they did on 10th October 2012. This was the result of numerous call to customer care, complains with many company representative, posting on consumer grievances sites. After the cancellation, it is 50 days 9 (i.e 29 October 2012), I am struggling to get refund of my cancelled order which amounts to INR6690/-. This company is taking lot much time to reimburse money, it is very much certain, they are earning interest on out money and they have utilized this money some where else and awaiting repayment to provide refund. I seek your help to nail down on this company. This company has mentally, financially agonized me. They have just two customer care number, which doesnot connect to backend team (also they refrain to allow speaking to backend team) I am making call, there customer care representative fools customer by saying it will take 24 hour to get action on complain (they mean 3 days and consider 8 hr per days as working hour). For the sake of formality, they show on there site that they have Chief Customer Officer (CCO) who advocates on behalf of customer inside the company. But in practicality I don’t see any involvement since I mark all mail to him regarding help to get refund. To fool customer, they have also got themselves rated as No1 in terms o[censored]ser experience.
This is the practice of this entire company, they claim to delivery product in 21 days (other sites does that in 7-10 days) but practically internet grievance site like Grahakseva etc. are flooded with complain regarding peoples experiencing delays of order fulfillment upto 5-6months. Refund is also same ways wherein if customer doesn’t follow regularly, they even eat his money. This company is playing with the customer emotions, spoiling image of E-commerce industry, and imposing serious loss to the society.
After more then 80 days of cancellation of order, they are gaining on my money, offered mental and financial trauma, caused loss of professional time, fear of money lost due to them getting ridoff.
I have emailed them multiple time as request to quickly return refund. Called almost alternate days. On 27th November 2012, when I called there customer care. It was conveyed that it will take another 15 days to get refund. I am not sure what will they say after 15 days, may be 1 month more. There is absolutely no one to control and monitor activity and punish them for troubling customers
I seek your help and support to nail down this fraud company. Also I seek your help to educate peoples so that they don’t get in trap of this company and struggle they ways I did.Include there name in top fraud site of e-commerce

After call more then 100 times on his call center i am not able get this product till date.

every time i call to his call center they told me we are in process to ship your order. I am not the only person who are facing this problem there more then 1000 customer have same problem. I saw your program it very effective if you guy contact with timtara.com .

i want to know also what is the procedure for consumer court complain.

your feedback is very importent. Please take a action against the company who is cheating customer.

I have ordered a TATA SWACH water purifier bulb from TimTara.com but they cancelled my order within 1-2 hrs sending the mail that I have requested to cancel the order but I have not cancelled that order.. Then I called its customer care to complain about that, that time he says that they have not received the payment from my side.. But I had already made my payment through net banking and I also have proof for that. Then he said that I'll get the status mail on that within 24 hrs but I did not get any mail..
So today also I called its customer care to check the status but I got the reply that "you have made the payment but it has not received our bank account, and it will take another 72 hrs to receive that"... But I am sure these all are fake excuses.. Please take action soon....

I made an order on timtara.com website for "Sony PS3 320 GB Medieval Moves Bundle" which cost me Rs. 16090/- (after discount) on 3rd Nov, 2012 using ATOM Payment gateway.

I made the payment using my CITIBank Credit Card which was completed successfully and the amount was debited from my account however, i didn''t received my order confirmation. After a rigorous followup i could get my ORDER ID:[protected].

When ever i contact timtara.com customer care they say, the product will be delivered in 21 days and it has already crossed over 25 days but my ordered product has not been delivered yet. Can you please file a complaint and help me out?

Note:- I have also attached some email communications happened with timtara.com customer care executives for details.

I ordered a HTC Desire X from TimTara.com on October 24, 2012.

The payment was made through my debit card and the amount was promptly deducted from my account.

The delivery was promised within 3 weeks. I should have recieved my phone by November 14, 2012. The delivery is already 12 days overdue. I have contacted the company at least 6 times through their call center as well as their support email ([protected]@timtara.com). Every time the same response was given - the phone will be delivered soon - ranging from 24 hours to additional week - but to no avail.

My latest complaint number (dt - 11/26/12) is 56416.

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 - P3100 (free Bluetooth headset) on 26 September 2012 (Order #[protected]. I paid Rs. 16,790 (transaction#[protected] through online payment using my credit card. I was been promised to receive delivery within 3 weeks.

3 weeks promised delivery date period ended on 17 Oct 2012 but I did not received the product, hence I called up customer care of Timtara and made a complaint (ticket# 55542). In response of my complaint, I again received an e-mail saying the product will be shipped in 5-6 working days. The product is still not shipped and I followed them up on their web site on 28 Oct 2012 and later again on 30 Oct 2012 by sending messages on which they have not responded.

I am calling Timtara on every alternate day but not getting proper status.

I had booked for samsung galaxy s3 mobile on timtara.Com on 5th of november 2012 and was promised that the product will be delivered within three weeks. But till now have not got my product.
I have already payed the money to them via net banking and when I tried calling to them they told me to wait for some more days.
I have come to know this e-commerce website does this to all people who have booked for a product. From past 3 weeks I have lost peace of mind because of this.
The product name is samsung galaxy s3, orderid: 10349262, amount payed: 30799.

Please help me provide justice by getting back my money or by getting my product. I have been cheated by timtara.

But I had some urgent requirement of this product so I have purchase this product from Local market than I call to timtara.com to cancel this product on Dt:10.11.12 but till date have many call to Timtara.com but All they tell me that they are not confirmed me cancellation of product they are transfer to other department to my complaint but not reply till date I am very upset and irritate from this Shopping company so please tell me that what i do this situation.I can go to consumer court

I hv ordered one Sony vaio laptop from Timtara (e commerce portal) based out of Noida on 25th of August, 2012 and paid the full money of Rs.28091/- from my ICICI bank netbanking option vide the order no:10314098. The mentioned timelines by Timtara for delivery is max of 21 days. I hv been following up with the customer care since the completion of the 21 days and every time i get msg that the delivery happen soon. There is a link in their site to log the complaint, but nobody cares to respond for the complaint loggedin (which i did not less than 10 times) and shows only one or two complaints. Besides that i hv been speaking to them on phone and keep me for longer times and no response at all. When i tried to send a mail from my office id, there is an automated response to log a ticket in their website which they don't respond at all.

I am literally vexedup wt the above website and all the credentials they write in their website seems to be incorrect as this sort of worst service i hvn't experienced with any other e-commerce portal.

What is the wayforward to be done wt this agency.

I have placed order on 28 Sep 2012 for 32 inch LCD TV of LG brand but due to some unspported features of TV i have canceled the order. And placed a Request for Refund of Rs. 19300 approx. but almost 2 months have been passed and still i have'nt received the amount. 4 times i have visted the head office of timtara at noida and the person there Mr. Ritesh had promised me that the payment will be refunded with in 2 days. But the 2 days had now become 2 months and still i haven't received back my paid amount. Daily i make a call to Mr. Ritesh and he is daily giving me a new excuse. i request you to kindly look in to the matter.
