Dear Consumer Complaints,

I got a very bad experience with TITAN EYE PLUS.

I booked a product from Titan Eye Plus, Kalyan West, Thane (Mumbai), with a delivery date after 10 days from date of booking. I requested to give me earlier, but they denied. I aid okay and wait for the delivery date. On the delivery date I got a call from their executive saying they'll take another 4-5 days at least. I requested do it early but they denied.

Then I questioned them, how they could tell me on the DELIVERY DATE about the delay in delivery. They should have intimated me at least a day prior to delivery date. But the customer representative was firm and arrogant. He never shown any apology even he made mistake. When I asked him about the manners then he replied with a statement that why should he say SORRY to the customer. If the product delivery takes time then he can not do anything ... He talked disrespectfully with me.

The product I shoped was of ammont more than 10000 Rupees, still he behaved like I purchased a product of costing 100 Rs. When I asked him that if I am not getting my product on the delivery date then he should REFUND my money, still he was arguing saying money will not be refunded and I need to wait for the delivery. Still I do not got the product nor any updates over it.

Please take some action on this. These people can not cheat to their innocent customers like this.

Titan - Eye — Delay in delivery

For my daughter I purchased one spectacle from Titan-Eye, Laketown, Kolkata on 18.05.09. My Bill No. is "[protected]", Item Code: 1000. The scheduled date of delivery was 23.05.09. However, as on today, i.e. 26.05.09, nobody can confirm the delivery and I have landed in mess after paying the 100% bill amount on the date of purchase.

If this kind of customer service is received from such a branded company, it is really shamefull.

    on 18th of Dec, I purchased a watch from APSARA TIMES, a Titan showroom .It was a Titan watch with bill no.29625 which costed Rs.3100/-.Same day i wore the watch and within 2 hrs the watch glass came out.Well we were tensed for the watch costed 3100/- bucks. We went to the showroom the other day.The manager was not there so we met the technician and explained the problem. As the manager was absent, he collected the watch and and gave us a received receipt and asked us to wait till the manager calls us.So hence we waited for 2 days.We did not get any call.Then we called her and she asked us to come in the evening which is supposedly is our peak working hour.We invested our precious time time and we went there.Then we asked her to refund the money back..now to believe in a brand whose glass just came out within 2 hrs o[censored]se , we have completely lost faith in it .So we just asked her to pay our money back.Instead of explaining the things calmly ,she behaved ruthlessly and we had to leave the showroom embarrassed.
    We lodged a complaint at the Titan official website with complaint no.137521, but they have not taken any action.Now we no more are interested in getting any other dumb watch in exchange for the damaged one.So we request u to please help us out and take some necessary action against them.We want our money back.My contact number is [protected] and email id is [protected]@gmail.com.     ON March On wards above WATCH is not Proper Working If correct the watch only one or Two Hours is Working, I just meet the dealer and give the watch for repairing, after 20 days dealer call me Watch is ok and collect immediately, at the time of collecting the watch shown wrong time, They already re turned the button and correct the time. after few hours the same complaint has come watch is not working.

    My wife had purchased a Titan Watch 0n 15 Jan 2013 from Eternity Titan show Room Dadar
    costing Rs 7995/-.Within one month one of the stone studded in the watch fell off.
    When I telephoned Eternity, their sales man told me that there is no guarantee for
    the stones and I will have to pay for the fixing of the stones and each stone would cost
    aroud Rs 150/- to 200/-.I told him this is a manufacturing defect and there are 36 stones, if I go on paying Rs 200/- for fixing each stone it will cost me another Rs 7200/-.
    He said he can't help it is the policy of Titan Company.I asked him to give Titan Company's
    Telephone numbers and contacted their service centre who asked me to submit the watch
    in their Virar Show room, and they will fix the stone free of cost.When submitted the
    watch in Virar Show room I came to know that the Eternity Show room has mentioned the Model
    number of the watch wrongly in the bill as well as on the Warranty Card and because if this
    the service centre may return the watch as the watch model(9836YAA) differs from the model
    number shown on the warranty card(NB9836KM01) and it is better to get it changed at the Eternity
    Show Room only. I am throughly dismayed by the whole episode and feel cheated, My wife donot want
    this defective watch.I hope that you will replace the defective watch at the earliest.

    Mr Raman had contacted me on 11/3/2013, and told me that your problem will be resolved within 24 hours .But even after 48 hrs have passed nobody has contacted me either by E.Mail or on my mobile . Are you giving lip service only ? Or is there any real intention of serving your customers ? If you cannot provide any satisfactory solution then donot blame me if things go out of hand.

      Problem: We have paid 7-Dec-2011 for a Golden Frame (My bad, did not note down any model number). And promised 4 day deliver by courier. Sadly, in spite of my follow up calls to (Kukatpally, Hyderabad Branch) - They have not kept their Promise of 4 day delivery. After payment (7-Dec-2011) - we received Courier on 21-Dec-2011. With wrong model (Not Golden Frame as selected).

      I have very good Customer Experience with Road side shops- they delivered best. Just thought for my dad I want to give best and chosen Titan eye+. Unfortunately I had bitter experience.. How are you going to solve this.. Expect immediate reply and Compliant number for reference..

        Dear sir

        I purchased a watch on 12.11.11 from choice corner --the receipt is enclosed in the attachment .

        At the time of purchase i gave the amount in cash and didnt checked whether the watch is working or not and took it to my home .
        When i gifted it to the person for whom i had purchased it wasnt working at all!!!!
        I rushed back to the store and told him about the malfunction--
        Instead of giving me another piece the guy changed the cell and made it functional .
        I asked him why did you ppl gave me bad watch in the first place ??
        His reply was -- the distributor must have given us this is bad condition and at the time of packing may be the staff over looked it or may be it was working at that time and later became dysfunctional.we have goods worth more than crores in the shop so we cannot pay attention to all..
        I was amazed at such reply ..
        If this is what i am supposed to get by purchasing a TITAN watch than it is better i buy imported ones with lesser price and same functioning ...why should i listen to such nonsense ???

          I brought titan cluster octan no. 9248bm01 for 7000 bucks from pune.
          Doc. No.[protected]
          I asked them to gift pack it and when i opened the watch, i found the chrono not working and the buttons are stuck. I gave it for checking in (Margao) goa titan show room and they send it to bangalore without my consent.
          After calling they are not able to give me the date of arrival.
          I demanded for replacement and nobody attended me. I even called the regional sales manager and he dint even received my calls.
          The after sales customer service for titan is really the worst. I repent on spending 7000 rs. For such a crap.

            On 24th October, i bought a diamond ring from Tanishq stores in Saharanpur. At the time of buying the ring, I was told that it has 100% return and nothing was told to me.
            First of all i visited Tanishq as it is associated with Tata but the ring of same quality when i saw in other store of D'dmas i found that it was cheap than Tanishq. I decided to return the ring and get my amount back as i was told 100% return.
            At the time of returning, i was told that i could only get 23000/- rupees but i paid 34000/- for that ring. The person over there told me that rest amount is of making charges.
            The same thing was not told to me before. I was mislead by the persons over there. Someone told me that only 7% will be deducted and someone told me 3% will be deducted.
            Now i am left in the middle. Tanishq cheated me and didnt give the complete info. I want y complete money back. I dont know that TATA is all the cheater.
            Poor brand.
            I want my money back.

            I agree with the complainant the Tanishq people are looting the people. I am also facing similar situation. The cash memo which they provide does not riflect the clear discount given on various gold items. More over there is difference in wt. of articles as mentioned in the cash memo and certificate given. They are be fooling people through their GHS scheme as they do not give promised bonus equivalent to one month installment. I advice all to deal with any gold shop but never with Tanishq as they are thieves.

              I have purchased a titan watch previous year and I was quite shocked. To find out that the watch was not functioning properly so I took it to the titan showroom and care center at city center 2 in kolkata.first of all it was repaired but soon it again became non function able .the above screen I.e. the digital section of the watch was totally off because it is such a watch that shows both analog and digital time. the fact I came to know that the wrist watch was outdated and its spares and mechanical parts are not available. so I am in a great problem because neither they are giving information about my damaged watch nor giving me a equal value gift voucher.

                This is in reference to a wrist watch which I have purchased for my daughter a couple of years back.
                I bought this Fast Track wrist watch from a Titan showroom in South City.
                I have been facing a problem with this wrist watch from the beginning ( even before the warranty period was over ).
                There was a problem with the timing as the watch was running slow all the time.
                The wrist watch was given to the showroom with a complaint thrice including once during the warranty period.
                I've been told that the entire machine of the wrist watch has been replaced the first time ( during warranty period ) so there will be no more problem with the watch.
                The last time the watch was given to the showroom with the same complaint around two and half months back when I was told that the inner machine will be replaced and given back to me.
                No paper was given to me except a yellow paper token which has been taken back by the showroom when the watch was handed over to me after a confirmation that the machine has been replaced and there will be no more problem with the same.
                I think I have not been told the truth by the showroom and no step has been taken by the showroom to rectify the defect whatsoever.
                The showroom also seems to be more interested in selling watches rather than looking into the after sales service.
                This has also resulted into myself buying another Fast Track wrist watch from the Titan showroom in Gariahat a few months back.
                Now my question is -
                (1) How can I get the wrist watch free of defects ( the watch still has a very new look as the same cannot be used due to the defect ).
                (2) Why a wrist watch sold by Titan has not been replaced fully when there was a mechanical defect for so long,
                (3) Is the inner machine been replaced by the showroom which has been told to me or it is just a false committment to me,
                (4) Why the wrist watch with such a mechanical defect is still being displayed and sold by Titan,
                (5) Why this has not been handled properly by the showroom.
                Please let me know what is to be done in order to get the defects rectified as I am willing to pay for any repairing which is needed for the same.

                  I has bought 2 Sets of Spectacles from Titan Eye Show room at C-7 Lajpat Nagar , New Delhi vide invoice no CAN0008251 dt 24.4.2011, the UV coating on Left Lens peeled off due to poor quality lens which was first accepted by the Titan staff on 17.10.2011 and I was promise free replacement and also issued an acknowledgement No. KAN0000285 dt 17.10.2011, which clearly states Coating peel off as visible defect. After inquiring for 12 days the Titan Showroom has returned the spectacles without repair claiming that these are scratches. The company is cheating customers by giving sub standard products and then not honoring the commitments made .I have shown the spectacles to reputed opticians who have confirmed that the coating on lens has peeled off and these are not scratches

                    I am a member of Golden Harvest. I paid all the instalments and there is a column for late payment charges which they have said Nil while accepting my payments. On 24th Oct 2011 when I went to buy jewellery the staff one Mr Shravan was rude and said that there is no chair provided and I am a senior citizen with arthritis problem and was asked to stand and select jewellery. When I protested the security person brought a chair for me. The next ordeal is at the time of billing the extra charges and penalty for to the tune of 1900 under the guise of late payment. is levied. I am thoroughly disgusted and never expected from reputed Tata concern this kind of substandard and mean tactics.

                      tanishq se mujhe reply bhi mila he aur mujhe complaint no. bhi mila he lekin one weak ho gaya hei mujhe koi response nahi mila, mujhe mere paise mile ya na mile lekin mein ye baat tanishq ke top officer tak pahuchana chahti hon take bhavishey mein kisi aur ke saath ye fraud na ho, aap log meri kiya help ker sakte.......how can i get your contact no. and address

                      Sir, I am writing this letter after a lot of disappointment and mental agony which i got after visiting your organisation show room at TANISHQ at E Block Connaught Place New Delhi on 12/10/20011. When i handed over cash amount of Rs. 230,000/ to your sales girl she said that the cash is counted by the cashier and she took that cash in the tray to the cashier for counting. To over dismay and shock the cashier said that the amount of cash is Rs. 2 lacs and not 2 lac thirty thousand.
                      I told the cashier to recheck the cash and may be the cash of Rs. 30,000/ separately packed may have fallen. He insisted that you have deposited only 2 lac and not 2 lac thirty thousand. This attracted the intervention of manager and still the matter remained unresolved.

                      Then I requested for CCTV camera footage. They provided but it was incomplete and the amount of Rs. 230,000/ was shown lying in the tray but further sequence were missing specially related to the sales girl giving cash to cashier and cashier counting the cash. And footage started when cashier said that the amount of cash is Rs. 2 lacs not 2 lacs thirty thousand. The manager also gave a lame excuse that footage of CCTV is incomplete/missing because there was a power cut during the relevant period. This is absolutely unacceptable as no where CCTV stops working during power cuts. This crucial evidence missing creates doubt in our mind and the manager/cashier integrity is questionable. I m very disappointed your staff behaviour.

                      I request you to investigate the matter so that high steam of your organisation is maintained and trust of the public remains intact.

                        I have bought Fastrack watch 2 years back cost 1500/- Rs. Now its fibre belt is breaking from one side. I visited all the dealer shops in Lucknow for new strap. They said this can't be repair because company has discontinued spare parts for that model. This has to go to company & company will value your watch. Approx you get 50% of the actual cost. That means for 1500 Rs watch i am going to get only 750 Rs at max. What a ? The main problem is u cannot put any other local strap on it. So now its like a waste for me. But you will get amazed to know that particular model of watch is still available in Titan showrooms if you want to purchase a new one.

                        I bought it with a thought that i don't need any watch for next 4-5 years. Also you get 50% value only if you are buying again Titan watch else throw it in a dustbin. I am highly disappointed with the service provided by this company which is so reputed. They are not willing to help their customers.

                        It might be possible that company is refurbishing of taken back watches & send back again its showroom for its resale at full price. What a business strategy by Titan to making fool their customers.

                        Titan suck, If the customer is not happy, your brand is in a bit of danger because not only will you loose this customer but with his bad word of mouth you will lose many probable customers. I don't recommend this product.

                          This refers to new automatic wrist watch modelNo 9274 SL 02 purchased by me in your on 04/08/2011 from your ghatkopar showroom in mumbai.

                          Its has been extremely unsatisfying experience for me after purchasing a Automatic watch worth Rs. 12500/-. The watch started having issues from day 1 and has never worked well till date.
                          It either stops or runs late even after winding and wearing on daily basis.

                          I have already sent it once to the company show room for servicing which took around 10 days and the results are still the same. Ghatkopar being at least 1 hour of distance from home it is not possible to every time go there and getting the watch repaired.

                          It was extremely upsetting when one purchase a goods from brand like TITAN and has to go through such experience.I would request look in to the same and either replace the watch or refund my money.

                            Hello All,

                            This is to inform you that I had a gold harvest scheme with Tanishq Koramangala 80 ft road Store & have closed the same last month. I had opted for the ECS facility at the time of signing up. To my surprise, my account has been debited for an amount of Rs. 10000/- despite closing the account & redeeming jewels.

                            I fail to understand, why Tanishq is refusing to accept their mistake & are giving me a run for my money.

                            They make such false promises at the time of sale. Their gold is also not KDM certified.

                            Please help me.

                              Avoid Titan Eye+ and MANI SQUARE SHOP IN KOLKATA
                              Had bought a spectacle for my mother from Kolkata Mani Square as the store attendant promised home delivery. The lenses were wrongly made and hence was informed to the store immediately after the delivery.The store kept on saying they will send over a person to the house for rechecking done for the patient but none came.The specs had been bought on the condition of home delivery as I dont stay in Kolkata.This continued for a few months.This has been escalated to Titan and also the store.The store kept on delaying and informed that whenever I am in town I would have to bring the patient over as suddenly they have realized home test is not possible!Now after coming to Kolkata had taken my mother again for the eye test which was due long back as intimated immediately after the delivery.Talked to Mr Rajib and a retest was done and suddenly I get a call from a store person who says he has been told to collect the money for the lenses along with the spectacle! The spectacle was wrongly made and intimated immediately and the store kept delaying the process. Now where does the question of money comes for a wrongly made pair which we have not been able to use? Why was the store delaying the process all along-Just to avoid the warranty period?

                              Why did the store agree to the sales knowing fully well the patient cant travel alone and would require my help According to Mr Rajib a person could easily have been sent earlier as they have a runner and expressed surprise why it was not done.But suddenly money was asked? Why such a company like Titan is manipulating customers like this and playing on sentiments who dont mind paying extra for a good brand?

                              Its pretty sad comment on the store and the company officials who were trying to bide time just to fool the customer and now asking for extra money. Moreover, even the top officials are also the same.They are not bothering to answer the mails or solve the matter.Great show!Kudos to the company ethics!

                                The pathetic Ineptitude of the Titan EyePeople in Delhi is shameful, to say the least. There is a titan eye shop in Vijay Block, Lagar, Delhi. I opted for a spectacle with lenses(No. TDVM004668 dated 23.9.11) for which delivery was to be made on 27.9.11. It was again and again specified to them that since i would be going out of station on 28.9.11, the delivery should be made on time, which they agreed.

                                Now, on one pretext or the other, they say they will not be able to deliver before 01.10.11. What use is this to me? And the base glasses cost u Rs.3500/- . Repeated calls have fallen in daef ears. Their ineptitude is disgusting, pathetic and smacks of breach of trust.

                                  I have purchased a diamond ring from Tanishq store located at Dhole Patil road, opposite pune central, Pune. The purchase was done on 21st Aug when the discount was running. Due to the difference in ring size that we wanted the store has to order a new ring which they promised to deliver in 1 month, and to our surpurise since the delivery date was not falling under the discount period, we didn't got any discount.
                                  Secondly and majorly we got a call somwhere on 10 Sep stating the ring is ready, and to our surprise again the ring was not as expected or ordered. The sales person and floor manager accepted this fact and promised us that the desired ring will be delivered by 25th Sep.

                                  Now not to much of our surprise now we got a call on 24th Sep, just a day before the delivery promise date. and we were informed that they will need another 15 days to deliver this ring. We bought this for an occasion that is due on 9th Oct 2011, and for the same occasion we are leaving the town on 5th Oct.

                                  Initially the store people said they can't give the ring on time, and then they said they will check and confirm. After calling the store on a daily basis all we got was fake confirmation, everytime they are pushing it by saying that they will confirm it by tomorrow.

                                  Now all we want is to either this ring before 5th Oct or get our full advance back.

                                  It was the worst experience of buying jewellery, even local merchant perform better services then a brand like Tanishq. I will for sure never like to visit any Tanishq store ever.

                                    I had gift cards of TITAN Watches complimented by Axis Bank. I presented the card to the TITAN WOELD at Maninagar against my purchase.After swiping the card 2-3 times the dealer said there is zero balance in the card. The lady manager at the stores abused me like something and i felt too much insulting while there were many customers at stores. I paid cash for my purchases and left the shop.

                                    I complained at TITAN Customer Care. Within 3-4 days i got the statement of my card that showed the card was swiped by the dealer itself for Rs. 500/-. The dealer says he is not aware and if it has happend it could be by mistake and I need to contact TITAN for settlement of the issue.

                                    I put a mail to customer care again giving my address also to refund the money at my home which is very close to TITAN WORLD shop. There has been no response to my mail. And the dealer says, that i have to call customer care only, for all resolution.'

                                    I need to serve a legal notice and a file a fraud case against this shop.
                                    Please help and guide to punish such persons.

                                    I had bad experiences from fasttrack regarding gift card they told me to go to particular store which in almost 2hrs travelling from my location titan showrooms said they dont accept gift card of fasttrack .

                                        I am Nilesh from Kothrud, Pune. I am Titan customer since last year. I had brought a Titan watch on 16th October 2010 from Harrshada, Paud road, Kohtrud, Pune branch. In warranty period the colour of belt is wipe out. I approached to above mention Titan showroom on date 20 August 2011 and told him about the problem. Shown Room Owner kept my watch and told me that he will replace the belt and delivery it approximately on 30 August. But strange, he didn’t do it. I called him 2-3 times even today I meet him, each time he told me the same reason and the reason is we ordered the belt but we didn’t received it yet.
                                        I am waiting for it from last month and from last month Shown Room Owner told me the same reason. I don’t believe that Titan, the no. 1 brand company providing such discourteous service.
                                        Please look into this issue as soon as possible. Either gives me my money back or told him to replace the belt immediately. In future how could I dare to purchase Titan watch after getting this type of strange service?

                                        I took my Watch to a Titan service centre in Calicut. They told me the battey had run out and changed it. They charged me for the fresh the fresh battery. But the moment I reached home the watch stopped again.I took it to them again. Then they said the trouble is with a coil inside the watch! Alas!! I have lost the battery that was already there earlier.Also I lost the amount paid for the new battery!!!

                                        My Titan Watch @3, 999/- purchase it from Bilaspur World of Titan Show Room I get surprised that in regular basis strip is broken it happen more then 5 time in 15 month from the date of purchase i would just request you to kindley try to replace it so that it shoud with me only other wise if it is broken in street i would lost my watch one day...

                                        same prob. i am also getting in mumbai abt casio(edifice) watch, with shop name Khimani Watch Company, boriwali(w), i got seepage in my watch withn few months, the shopkeeper assured me fr replacement for that watch, he give me all reciept also nd tell we will let u know withn 7 days, after 7 days i call thm many times, he ascuse me that product is nt avilable in co., we will let u know soon.

                                        i think i wll take legal action Khimani Watch Company.

                                        I got the proper replacement of watch. Pune service center is very good. If you are facing any problem then pls send a mail to titan help desk. THey will definately resolve yout issues as they did with my issues.

                                        I had purchase Titan watch from Kothrud store(Near by kothrud stand)pune.
                                        At the time of selling shop keeper was forcing me to pay extra 169 rs. to increase the warrenty upto 5 ys.however what happend is the watch is not even to work properly for 2 days.
                                        when i approched them they were not at all listening to my prob.

                                        When i have asked them to replace the watch, what they said is we cant do the replacement.
                                        as u have used is for a single day.but at the time of purchasing i didn't given such stupid reason like i dont want to buy the display watch, i want the packed one as most of the people could have tried this, so i want the packed one.

                                        Simply the fool people were expecting me to keep the watch in the box for few days and keep a eye on it.once i get a confirmation ohh my goodness its working then only i can wear it. is it so???????

                                        I'm totally disappointed with the Titan service and the way they were entertaining me.

                                        I was asking for the replacement of same watch just B'coz have used it for a single day.
                                        when u people are giving warrenty of 2 yrs on battery then it is expected that it should work for atleast 1yr.isn't it?

                                        why should i repalce the battery? is this the only solu?

                                        My humble request to u.. please teach ur all the shopkeepers that how to assists the customers.

                                        I guess customer satisfaction doesn't matters for Titan. Dissgusting.I would never go for Titan in future and neither ask my frns to go for it.
