I am writing this mail with morbid satisfaction that atleast I wont have to suffer again.
I bought a pair of spectacles from your Titan Eye+, Linking Road, Santacruz (w), Mumbai outlet, and believe me it was the worst mistake of my life. I have been wearing specs for 26 years and never in my life have I ever seen such unprofessionalism.

I have just moved to mumbai from delhi and wanted to change my specs. I entered your store expecting a good service from your end but I was highly disappointed. Thanks to your staff, the whole Image of Titan Eye+ has come down crashing in my eyes. These have been the most expensive specs that I have bought so far. The least I expected from you was to do your job right. The least.

I went to collect my specs only to find the polishing of the lens was not appropriate, the edges were rough and it gave an unbalanced look to the lens. So I left them at your store and went back again the next day to collect them. After I collected my specs the next day, I noticed a major fault with them. The lenses were of different sizes. The left lens was 1 mm bigger than the right lens. To put it lightly, I was embarrassed when people at work and home pointed it out. Anyway I went back a third time to get the lens fixed. When I brought this to the attention of your staff, my statement was refuted blatantly and I was told that the specs were fine.I was baffled what my naked and untrained eye could see was not visible to your so called technicians and experts. They seemed callous and very more inclined towards proving me wrong. Somehow I managed to convince them of the error they had made. Again, for the third time, I left the specs in the bleak hope that maybe now they will get fixed.
I was wrong.Again.

Next day I went back, only this time my irritation turned into anger. There was a dent and a protruding curve on the right lens. Imagine the plight of a customer who doesnt get the service he deserves and on top of it is made to suffer because your staff is inefficient, unprofessional and unapologetic.

I wonder how a brand like Titan Eye+ can afford such a bad quality of service. I dont think I will ever walk into Titan Eye+ or recommend it to people. As I have no interest to deal with such unprofessional people nor will I let the people I know go through the agonising ordeal I went through.

The last thing I want from Titan Eye+ is my money back. I am done dealing with you guys. I have a life and I intend to live it. I cant keep doing rounds at your outlets in the false hope that the money I gave is getting its full value. I want a swift resolution in this matter - Which is a refund, nothing else. You can keep those specs and try to make a mockery out of someone else.



I returned their spectacles and went on their website to give the feedback. After I mailed them the feedback nobody replied to it or followed it up. I had to call up the various stores across the city to get their toll free complaint number. After finding the number i called them up immediately and they had no clue about the complaint I had submitted, so I had the explain them the whole thing. They told me they will get back to me in half an hour but they did not. I called them up again after an hour to know what is happening? So they told me the team is in a meeting you will get a call from the store at the earliest. They called me after an hour and said please collect you spectacles they have been fixed. I told them I don’t want to deal with them and they can keep the specs and fix them for however many times they want, I cant get another shock for the fourth time all I want is my money, my refund. They told me the banglore office will call you in regard to this. Someone called Nilesh called me from the Banglore office and he said you will have to go to the store to collect your specs and we cant give you a refund. But I told them again that you are torturing me a lot and I will not tolerate this, I want my money, so they told me we will get back to you. The next day area manager for Titan called me to know what the issue was, I asked him if he read the mail he said I have the sales sheet with me and these are your problems, I told him you have got the facts wrong and I explained him the situation again. He said there has to be either a problem with the frame or the lenses for us to initiate your refund. I told them I have had a problem not once not twice but thrice, so please initiate my refund. He told me I will have to check with the banglore office again, and ever since then nobody has contacted me.

    Dear Sir
    I had given a Titan Zoop watch for change of strap at Titan World,G-17, Sector 18 Noida on 31.07.2011. The store asked me to collect the watch in 10 day. When I went to collect the watch I was told that the strap was not available and hence I should collect after one week and still the watch was not ready as the store manager said that the company is not able to send the strap and the same is not available in any of the stores in Delhi NCR. Moreover when I said that I would complain to Titan , the store manager said that I can go and complain where ever I wish to. It has been 44 day now and till date the strap of the watch is not changed.
    I would like to register my complain for the delays and improper replys given by the people of Titan World store,sector 18 noida.

    I was a good customer of TITAN, located at mantri mall in malleshwaram...these people are dual nature..If v go 2 purchase they speak cool and friendly..and 1s we purchase and later if we visit the same shop for service they behaved so RUDE and got an DIRTY response, and in turn they damaged my original piece and gave it in spares...They have so much of attitude and arrogance.. plzzzzzzz dont BUY anything from that WORLD OF TITAN in MALLESHWARAM in MANTRI MALL...BANGALORE
    Titan zoop watch ..not working the very next day of purchase...

      Hi,
      I had purchased Titan Vybes frame from your outlet on 12/8/11. The frame selected had a defect and the eye wear consultant Mr GIRISH told me that a fresh piece would be used to fix the lenses. The order was to be delivered on 15/8/11. I had called in the morning to enquire on the status of my order and Mr Girish told me that it was expected in the evening. Again, I asked him if it was a new frame that was used and he agreed to it.

      However when I took the delivery of the frame, it was the same defective frame that was used. He took back the frame tried to get the frame fixed that ended up in cracking the lens. Now he told me that it would take another two working days to deliver the frame.

      This caused lot of inconvenience at my end and I requested for the complaint form and the filled in the details. The interesting part of the complaint form is that there is no complaint number and on questioning this to the person seated at the counter, he ignored to my question. Is this how TITAN runs business and is this how your staffs are trained to deliver customer service? None of the staff seems to be bothered to resolve the customer issue. I regret to inform you that TITAN eye plus has poor after sales service.

      Mr GIRISH has requested me to wait for another two days to take the delivery of my frame, failing to which, I will have to involve the consumer court to resolve the issue.

      Request you to look into this seriously. Anticipating an early response from you.

        I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the product I recently purchased. It is most unlike a Tanishq product. Details are as follows:-
        PRODUCT CODE-510281FBALAAPL; INVOICE No CRB/ CM 4325 dated 09 Aug 11; STORE ADD- Titan Industries Limited, Crown Court 34, Cathedral Road, Chennai-600086; LOYALTY ID-[protected].

        I purchased the ring on 09 Aug 11 and after wearing it only for ONE DAY, the product gave way. I had liked the design very much and I had categorically asked the Sales person about how the pearl was attached to the ring- whether glued on or soldered with golden wire. I was told that it was soldered but the gold stud 'supposedly' holding the pearl, gave way which is clearly indicative that it was glued on and NOT soldered into the pearl as was told. This seems to be a major design defect that needs to be addressed by your team at the earliest.

        I am appalled at the poor quality of the workmanship. I am residing at Arakkonam which is 100 km from the Store of purchase. When I called up the store, I was advised to bring the ring to the store within 7 days due to the store policy. This premature failure on account of either defective design or poor workmanship has caused unwanted stress in my life and warrants me to travel 100 km for no fault of mine

          I've been using spectacles for about 35 years now. Never have any problems of scratch on lens at all. This is first time ever I faced this problem and it is being difficult to strain my eyes with those scratch marks on center.

          I went to that shop today and asked to give me replacement or do something which can make it good. One of person named Alpesh, talked with me and refused to give me any service regarding this. And he told me to email the complain.

          You can understand that by above usage, it must not be mishandling and improper usage. I used them very carefully with respect to cleaning and all. As a profession of Principal, I don't see any abrasive usage of spectacles from any environment. It is getting increased day by day. I must tell you that it has passed four months which makes it worse. It is worthless to invest that much amount in spectacles from Titan Eye+.

          In following email complaint, they told me there is no warranty of scratched and breakage on lenses, these lens made of fiber, there are slight chances of breakage and tear and wear due to its material property. I don't think they served me right product or their value.

            I approched with a 3 years old wrist watch to World of Titan a show room and service centre for wrist watch in Cuttack city at Baxi Bazar for repair.The defect was that the locking pin which connects the chain(band) to timepiece was broken and the same pin was to be replaced with new one. The staff of service centre accepted the watch and issued a receipt telling the watch would be repaired within 2 days and the charge would be Rs 50/- . After 2 days I approched the same staff to collect my watch but the staff returrned the watch without repairing telling that the watch can not be repaired and solution told by him that the new band to be fitted which would cost Rs 1600/-. My complaint is that the watch which was returned to me was in damaged condition i.e the band was damaged probably during process of repairing and when the mechanic failed to repair decided to return the watch in damaged condition and advised to fit new band. So my complaint is that as the service centre staff has damaged my watch's band it is the service centre responsibility to repair my watch or fit the watch with new band free of cost

              I had purchased 18KT Diamond Bracelet vide bill no BRD CM 3913 dated[protected]. This Bracelet was an invaluable piece of jewellery not only because it was purchased from Tanishq but also as it was a birthday gift from my husband. It was the most lovable jewellery that I possessed and therefore it taken care of always.

              It is a matter of immense shame...

              I had purchased a Titan Watch for Rs. 7500/- from Ernakulam Authorised show room. The watch is Black coloured chain embedded. The chain started braking just after a month, I put up the complaint with the authorised show room they simply rectified the defect and delivered. Just after a couple of days the chain again broken and the watch was not in use for quite some time. during one of my visit the Baroda i had shown the watch in the authorised show room in Alkapuri, they also just added a piece of old chain and rectified and delivered. After a couple of months the chain again broken. I am a regular customer of expensive watches of titan. I am a government contractor and very busy and have no time to run around for such petty things. I believe in the Brand of Tata and I simply buy the products by name. The latest addition of Tata products and 4 Nos. AC and expensive watches for my wife and uncle.

              I had put up a complaint a couple of months back and one Mr. Haris of Ernakulam region had asked me to show the watch in the nearby show room. I had given the watch to your Kottayam Dealership and they informed me the watch is of regular complaint nature and the production is stopped. They had sent the watch to Regional Head Office and i was informed that i will be given a couple for atleast 75% value of the watch so that I can further purchase a watch of my choice. The matter is still pending and would request a speedy solution.

              Titan Watch — day/date not functioning

              I have purchased a titan watch last year feb. Its day/date has never functioned properly The dealer held it for repairs three times. The fault continues. Few days back the warranty is over. Please guide..

                  "Purchase Titan Edge and your bad time starts immediately"

                  Last year (June 2010), I purchased a Titan Edge wrist watch from the authorized Titan dealer in Aligarh (U.P) and paid more than 7500/- INR.

                  Within a period of one year, the watch went out-of-order four times.

                  For first 3 times, I went to the authorized dealer, he took it back repaired and gave back in few days.
                  Anyway, when I went the fourth time again with the stopped watch, the dealer accepted that there is some problem with the machine so have to replace it and I have to wait for 15 days. I happily accepted it as there is no use of having a nonworking wrist watch plus I had hopes that at last my good time will start soon (good times by Titan)…
                  Finally after 2-3 follow-ups I got my wrist watch. The worst thing was yet to come: he put the machine of the Golden color titan edge watch into my grey color watch. Now I have a unique golden point at the center of my dial. Additionally, now both the arms has some crystallized salt/ moisture on it (moisture problem !!!!).

                  The quality control of titan is so great that even both segments of the steel chains are different from each other in finishing; this makes the write watch a little more awkward.

                  Thus, I request all the readers, to be careful while purchasing the Titan Edge series products as neither the strict quality controls are maintained nor their technical staff is well trained to handle Edge series products.

                    I bought a Fast Track watch strap (which the shopkeeper claims that it costs Rs. 300) and a watch cell at Titan showroom, City center, Banjara Hills, Hyedrabad. The shopkeeper charged me Rs. 500 and didn't give me a bill. The lady (who repaired my watch) charged Rs. 180 just for the cell. Moreover, she didn't give me the bill. I wish action is taken on the management of the showroom. I wish someone catches them red-handed.

                    Cell City — Getting more than MRP

                    Respected Sir/Mam,

                    A single Mobile recharging shop named "CELL CITY" at Selvapuram in Coimbatore City is getting a mandatory additional amount of Rs.2 for every single EC Recharges for all the networks such as Airtel, Aircel. Vodafone, Docomo, Uninor and so on.. If we question their owner about it, they say that, if you are willing to give a complaint you may proceed with it. We customers are frustrated about his conduct and we kindly request you to cancel his licence to do further recharges or to punish his conduct as soon as possible. If he is not stopped doing it right now, then he will do more fradulants and may become huge in his activities.

                      I have purchased one Titan wrist watch from Time Centre, Jalpaiguri on 19 Apr 2011. It has been given guarantee for two years. Now the watch is stopped and when I contacted the shop they are telling that they will not replace the watch but replace the cell. I want to know the difference between guarantee and warranty. they are adamant totally and abuse me. They are not giving the number of their shop owner and told me to go anywhere and do complain. Now tell me what should I do

                        Myself Perneet Kumar sharma, from chandigarh, recently my wife has gifted me watch approx 1 month and 15 days ago. i just wore it for 5 times in this period. recently i find some tiny black spots on the side of my watch dial. i am wondered how is it possible that a branded watch comapny place such thing in market. i talk to shopkeeper he siad it may be polishing fault. , on this i said for replacing the watch but he refuses. so kindly guide me what to do. i have bill and warranty card with me.

                          titan(fastrack) — Slow problem of Fastrack

                          Dear Sir/Madam;
                          I bought a titan Fastrack watch on 13.07.2011 from taratolla titan showroom kolkata. Immediately after buying i faced slow problem of watch thrice(till now).I repeatedly request them to give a permanent solution but they failed to give that repeatedly. I am deeply irritated with their services ,even they dont attend us with care and what corrective action they have taken that is not also clear to us.                               My self ahmedsadik has given watch for change of broken glass but they are unable to chage the glass saying that glass is not available.I have purchase that of worth Rs 9300 and now they are telling me to take credit of 5000 or re-collect your watch back., please suggest me what to do.

                                Hi,
                                I am Dr.K.Balaji, I visited Titan eye plus for the first time during 13/7/2008 and was very pleased with the services offered by the shop (on shanthi colony, annanagar, Chennai).I had ordered and received spectacles worth rs.12000/- at that time and further purchased lenses for about Rs.4000/- by way of lens changing etc.
                                Impressed by the services and seeing that it’s a company owned by the TATA group I recommended the shop to several other friends of mine,I decided to get a new sunglasses done at the same shop after the pleasant experiences and hence visited the outlet on 13/6/2011.firstly I was not received by anybody. All the workers were busy working on some paper works .Inspite of the lady at the counter informing one of the attendants to take care of me, that person did’nt respond, instead he recommended somebody else to take care of me, but still with old fond memories of titan I ignored it
                                This timei made a purchase of Rs.12000/-. I was attended by one Mr.sadik. The entire payment was made and the person said that he would deliver the two specs one new and the other for lens change by Saturday, but the sunglasses from RAYBAN will be delivered after a week ,on asking him why should it take so long ,since usually its given in 4 working days, he replied that I had ordered crizal lenses so it will take that time, hence I agreed and left.
                                On Saturday I receive a call from the outlet so I go there to pick up the specs, now only one specs out of the two which was promised was given and person said that he would give it along with the raybans, so I didn’t make an issue and left. Now I receive three phone calls on Saturday and Sunday from your outlet ,to come and collect my specs, I told them that I collected it, then later I called the outlet and mr.sadik apologized saying that the person didn’t know that the delivery was done. This shows the inefficient coordination in your outlet.
                                Now when the day came for the delivery ,no one called me from the out let, hence I waited and then when I called them, they said that mr.sadik is on leave and will call me once the specs were ready. the next day mr.sadik calls me and says that the lenses coating failed hence it was rejected and new lens will be fitted and given in three days, so I agreed to wait. Here I want to say that if somebody is on off in your company no one else will take care of the customers that person is attending?
                                When the day came for delivering my specs, Mr.Sadik calls me and says that the coating failed on fitting the lens so I need to wait and says by Wednesday the 29th it will be delivered, this time I was little annoyed and I told him ,it better be done on that day. Now on 29th i.e today I get a call at about 7.15pm that the lens failed and I have to give them some time. Now I was really upset, so I went to the outlet and asked the people ,how come only my lenses fails and why such a delay.
                                I have few questions here
                                Why a reputed company like titan has employed such unethical and inefficient people at the outlet ?
                                Why our lenses are given to substandard vendors for manufacturing?
                                Does it take more than 17 days to make lenses for the sun glasses?
                                Why there is no coordination among the workers in your company?
                                For regular customers like me( a doctor) there is so much of trouble then what happens to the other lay person at your outlet?
                                I have lost faith and hope on your company, I am sure I will never return to your outlet. I am sure in this competitive industry if this is going to be the attitude of your employees, your company sales is going to decline.
                                I demanded at your outlet for an explanation for the delay in delivery. The answer I get was that they wanted to give quality work , quality at the expense of precious time(17 days).I am asking them to show the entries of my specs being sent to the vendor thrice. They were unable to provide me any written documents supporting their theory of sending it to the vendor 3 times.
                                There is absolutely no co ordination between the people who are managing the outlet ,that was very clearly indicated when mr.sadik was not present at the outlet and I got an irresponsible answer that once he comes I will get my information about my specs.
                                I am completely annoyed with the entire episode and I hope something is done about the whole situation .Now the outlet in-charge has asked me for 4 working days to get new lenses done for my specs. You just tell me is it really right to ask this many days again.

                                  Today Tanishq charged gold rate 2215 per gram which is almost 2000 extra as compared to the market rate of the gold and they didn't disclose this at the time of selling, Ibought 48.5 gram of gold which costed 140572 and they are not listening about it.                                   Today Tanishq charged gold rate 3015 per gram which is almost 2000 extra as compared to the market rate of the gold and they didn't disclose this at the time of selling, I purchase a gold pendal. my customer id is 11503.this pendal is very costly but they are not listening about it. My GHS a/c no.is 2086. dated 15/10/2012 tanishq international 22 karat gold rate for 10 gram- 29100/-, but into s.c.o.235, sec-12, tanishq showroom karnal 22 karat gold rate for 10 gram sameday- 30150/-.plz take imiziate action.

                                  Yesterday Tanishq charged gold rate Rs. 2864 per gram which is almost 1000 extra as compared to the market rate of the gold and they didn't disclose this at the time of selling, I bought 24.73 gram of gold which cost Rs 87, 116 including the making charges. My invoice number is AGH/CM/4226.

                                  Kindly look into the matter.

                                    This is in regards to poor service and argumentative nature of tanishq employees. We bought this gold necklace from Tanishq's faridabad showroom which din't have the matching earings with it. So the sales guy named Suraj Verma assured us that tomorrow positively he'll be asking the design team for the matching earings and will give us the call. But it never happened. After around one month, we again went to the shop and met the same guy called Suraj Verma but he started arguing and instead of apologizing he stared to argue and said "Mam i did call you but you never answered the call." So to that we said that if you actually called us then designs must be ready, to this he couldn't answer as designs were still not ready.

                                    For the poor service provided by Tanishq's employee we and our friends and relatives will definetly opt for some hallmark jewellery showroom NOT TANISHQ.

                                    DEAR SIR, WE HAD PURCHASE THE DIAMOND RING BILL NO:VAP/CM/2083 DATE:06/08/2010 FROM TANISHQ AT VAPI (GUJARAT). SORRY TO SAY BUT THE FIXING OF DIAMOND WAS NOT PROPER IN THE RING SO WE HAD LOST 1 DIAMOND FROM IT . SO WE IMMEDIATELY CONTACT TO VAPI TANISHQ AND THEY SAID THEY WILL PASS ON OUR COMPLAIN TO YOU, MY CCAF NO :VAP1100099 . BUT AFTER 15 DAYS THEY CALLED US & DIMANDED RS.1200OF THE MAKING CHARGE OF FIX THE DIAMOND.                                     I have opened one GHS account in the name of my wife on 03.07.2011 in Tanishq showroom in Hubli. The account no. is THU/10498/2011. I used to pay GHS instalments of Rs.5, 000/-vide Syndicate Bank DD's.As I was away from Hubli, I could not take my passbook for updation very often. Meanwhile I have lost few of the receipts. However I have all the details of DD's sent by me. After completion of 11 months period, I went to Tanishq showroom at Kammanhalli, Bengaluru to redeem my wife's GHS account. To my surprise, the staff at Bengaluru showroom informed me that I have not paid last instalment.To complete the transaction, I paid Rs.5, 000/- at Bengaluru showroom on the assurance that on locating the missed instalment the same will be adjusted to my account.Thereafter, I took the case with your Hubli showroom;I have provided all the details to officials at Hubli showroom (to one Mr.Manohar).He promised to look into the matter, verify the accounts and inform me. It is now six months are over. Nothing has moved. Before making this complaint, I have called your Hubli office.The receptionist every time I make a call, asks who was calling. On hearing my name, she used to give some excuses and tried to avoid me. This is very pathetic to say the least. The name of Tanishq is being tarnished by these people at Hubli showroom.                                     I had invested in your golden harvest scheme in bhubaneswar in date 22/01/2012.
                                    When i joined than it was told to me if i get transfer anywhere than i can transfer the scheme as well.

                                    In october 2012 i transsfferd to Pune and since i was busy in relocation & settling-down activities so could not deposit some installment on that time.
                                    later i deposited all amount in Laxmi Road branch of Tanishq Pune.

                                    When i went to this branch for purchasing than i got the information, amount which should be added by Tanishq is very less.(30-40 %)
                                    I came to know that this is due to late payment.

                                    But I didn't have this information from your side when i started this scheme and at the end of scheme if you are saying this than its disappointing and hurting.

                                    So i think since nobody from your side had informed about this earlier, I should get full amount as committed.

                                    Please resolve it as soon as possible.

                                    I had bought 4 bangles from Tanishq Cantanmont road, cuttack on 19th October 2012.
                                    It is very sad to express that it had broken down from the very first day itself. I have already giving those bangles twice for repair and I was assured that I would not face such type of any inconvenience after repair and in case I do I will be allowed to replace it with the new ones but now after it has literally broken down the cuttack store demands that they will exchange it at the old price in which I will face a great loss.

                                    I had bought those bangles at 1, 75, 508 rupees but now I feel that I have faced a great loss having bought those bangles.

                                    I am a regular customer of Tanishq and I expected good service but sadly tanishq in cuttack is least bothered about the problem I have been facing and just telling me that they would exchange it when the offer comes . I was informed that the offer would be in May or June but now I m being said that it is between June to July.

                                    I request you to kindly look into the matter and take proper actions at the earliest because it has already been above 6 months and I have not worn it for once also. I expect that I would be returned all the amount that i have payed or I should be allowed to replace the bangles with the new ones at the same price .

                                    I will be highly obliged at your kind response.

There is an agreement that the cheques are to be collected from my residence. But every month after ringing the executives for around a dozen ties, there is no response. Above that, I keep getting sms after sms about non-payment. You have no business to dupe the people of Assam in this manner. I[censored] cannot give business, just move out! This is for the last time i m lodging a written complaint after which i shall move to the consumer court. My account number is 9956.
