My self ahmedsadik has given watch for change of broken glass but they are unable to chage the glass saying that glass is not available.I have purchase that of worth Rs 9300 and now they are telling me to take credit of 5000 or re-collect your watch back., please suggest me what to do.

    Hi,
    I am Dr.K.Balaji, I visited Titan eye plus for the first time during 13/7/2008 and was very pleased with the services offered by the shop (on shanthi colony, annanagar, Chennai).I had ordered and received spectacles worth rs.12000/- at that time and further purchased lenses for about Rs.4000/- by way of lens changing etc.
    Impressed by the services and seeing that it’s a company owned by the TATA group I recommended the shop to several other friends of mine,I decided to get a new sunglasses done at the same shop after the pleasant experiences and hence visited the outlet on 13/6/2011.firstly I was not received by anybody. All the workers were busy working on some paper works .Inspite of the lady at the counter informing one of the attendants to take care of me, that person did’nt respond, instead he recommended somebody else to take care of me, but still with old fond memories of titan I ignored it
    This timei made a purchase of Rs.12000/-. I was attended by one Mr.sadik. The entire payment was made and the person said that he would deliver the two specs one new and the other for lens change by Saturday, but the sunglasses from RAYBAN will be delivered after a week ,on asking him why should it take so long ,since usually its given in 4 working days, he replied that I had ordered crizal lenses so it will take that time, hence I agreed and left.
    On Saturday I receive a call from the outlet so I go there to pick up the specs, now only one specs out of the two which was promised was given and person said that he would give it along with the raybans, so I didn’t make an issue and left. Now I receive three phone calls on Saturday and Sunday from your outlet ,to come and collect my specs, I told them that I collected it, then later I called the outlet and mr.sadik apologized saying that the person didn’t know that the delivery was done. This shows the inefficient coordination in your outlet.
    Now when the day came for the delivery ,no one called me from the out let, hence I waited and then when I called them, they said that mr.sadik is on leave and will call me once the specs were ready. the next day mr.sadik calls me and says that the lenses coating failed hence it was rejected and new lens will be fitted and given in three days, so I agreed to wait. Here I want to say that if somebody is on off in your company no one else will take care of the customers that person is attending?
    When the day came for delivering my specs, Mr.Sadik calls me and says that the coating failed on fitting the lens so I need to wait and says by Wednesday the 29th it will be delivered, this time I was little annoyed and I told him ,it better be done on that day. Now on 29th i.e today I get a call at about 7.15pm that the lens failed and I have to give them some time. Now I was really upset, so I went to the outlet and asked the people ,how come only my lenses fails and why such a delay.
    I have few questions here
    Why a reputed company like titan has employed such unethical and inefficient people at the outlet ?
    Why our lenses are given to substandard vendors for manufacturing?
    Does it take more than 17 days to make lenses for the sun glasses?
    Why there is no coordination among the workers in your company?
    For regular customers like me( a doctor) there is so much of trouble then what happens to the other lay person at your outlet?
    I have lost faith and hope on your company, I am sure I will never return to your outlet. I am sure in this competitive industry if this is going to be the attitude of your employees, your company sales is going to decline.
    I demanded at your outlet for an explanation for the delay in delivery. The answer I get was that they wanted to give quality work , quality at the expense of precious time(17 days).I am asking them to show the entries of my specs being sent to the vendor thrice. They were unable to provide me any written documents supporting their theory of sending it to the vendor 3 times.
    There is absolutely no co ordination between the people who are managing the outlet ,that was very clearly indicated when mr.sadik was not present at the outlet and I got an irresponsible answer that once he comes I will get my information about my specs.
    I am completely annoyed with the entire episode and I hope something is done about the whole situation .Now the outlet in-charge has asked me for 4 working days to get new lenses done for my specs. You just tell me is it really right to ask this many days again.

      Today Tanishq charged gold rate 2215 per gram which is almost 2000 extra as compared to the market rate of the gold and they didn't disclose this at the time of selling, Ibought 48.5 gram of gold which costed 140572 and they are not listening about it. My invoice number is PRA/CN/2403

      Today Tanishq charged gold rate 3015 per gram which is almost 2000 extra as compared to the market rate of the gold and they didn't disclose this at the time of selling, I purchase a gold pendal. my customer id is 11503.this pendal is very costly but they are not listening about it. My GHS a/c no.is 2086. dated 15/10/2012 tanishq international 22 karat gold rate for 10 gram- 29100/-, but into s.c.o.235, sec-12, tanishq showroom karnal 22 karat gold rate for 10 gram sameday- 30150/-.plz take imiziate action.

      Yesterday Tanishq charged gold rate Rs. 2864 per gram which is almost 1000 extra as compared to the market rate of the gold and they didn't disclose this at the time of selling, I bought 24.73 gram of gold which cost Rs 87, 116 including the making charges. My invoice number is AGH/CM/4226.

      Kindly look into the matter.

        This is in regards to poor service and argumentative nature of tanishq employees. We bought this gold necklace from Tanishq's faridabad showroom which din't have the matching earings with it. So the sales guy named Suraj Verma assured us that tomorrow positively he'll be asking the design team for the matching earings and will give us the call. But it never happened. After around one month, we again went to the shop and met the same guy called Suraj Verma but he started arguing and instead of apologizing he stared to argue and said "Mam i did call you but you never answered the call." So to that we said that if you actually called us then designs must be ready, to this he couldn't answer as designs were still not ready.

        For the poor service provided by Tanishq's employee we and our friends and relatives will definetly opt for some hallmark jewellery showroom NOT TANISHQ.

        DEAR SIR, WE HAD PURCHASE THE DIAMOND RING BILL NO:VAP/CM/2083 DATE:06/08/2010 FROM TANISHQ AT VAPI (GUJARAT). SORRY TO SAY BUT THE FIXING OF DIAMOND WAS NOT PROPER IN THE RING SO WE HAD LOST 1 DIAMOND FROM IT . SO WE IMMEDIATELY CONTACT TO VAPI TANISHQ AND THEY SAID THEY WILL PASS ON OUR COMPLAIN TO YOU, MY CCAF NO :VAP1100099 . BUT AFTER 15 DAYS THEY CALLED US & DIMANDED RS.1200OF THE MAKING CHARGE OF FIX THE DIAMOND.         I have opened one GHS account in the name of my wife on 03.07.2011 in Tanishq showroom in Hubli. The account no. is THU/10498/2011. I used to pay GHS instalments of Rs.5, 000/-vide Syndicate Bank DD's.As I was away from Hubli, I could not take my passbook for updation very often. Meanwhile I have lost few of the receipts. However I have all the details of DD's sent by me. After completion of 11 months period, I went to Tanishq showroom at Kammanhalli, Bengaluru to redeem my wife's GHS account. To my surprise, the staff at Bengaluru showroom informed me that I have not paid last instalment.To complete the transaction, I paid Rs.5, 000/- at Bengaluru showroom on the assurance that on locating the missed instalment the same will be adjusted to my account.Thereafter, I took the case with your Hubli showroom;I have provided all the details to officials at Hubli showroom (to one Mr.Manohar).He promised to look into the matter, verify the accounts and inform me. It is now six months are over. Nothing has moved. Before making this complaint, I have called your Hubli office.The receptionist every time I make a call, asks who was calling. On hearing my name, she used to give some excuses and tried to avoid me. This is very pathetic to say the least. The name of Tanishq is being tarnished by these people at Hubli showroom. Hence I request you to make desreet enquiries into the happenings at Hubli showroom and try to set right my transaction.

        I had invested in your golden harvest scheme in bhubaneswar in date 22/01/2012.
        When i joined than it was told to me if i get transfer anywhere than i can transfer the scheme as well.

        In october 2012 i transsfferd to Pune and since i was busy in relocation & settling-down activities so could not deposit some installment on that time.
        later i deposited all amount in Laxmi Road branch of Tanishq Pune.

        When i went to this branch for purchasing than i got the information, amount which should be added by Tanishq is very less.(30-40 %)
        I came to know that this is due to late payment.

        But I didn't have this information from your side when i started this scheme and at the end of scheme if you are saying this than its disappointing and hurting.

        So i think since nobody from your side had informed about this earlier, I should get full amount as committed.

        Please resolve it as soon as possible.

        I had bought 4 bangles from Tanishq Cantanmont road, cuttack on 19th October 2012.
        It is very sad to express that it had broken down from the very first day itself. I have already giving those bangles twice for repair and I was assured that I would not face such type of any inconvenience after repair and in case I do I will be allowed to replace it with the new ones but now after it has literally broken down the cuttack store demands that they will exchange it at the old price in which I will face a great loss.

        I had bought those bangles at 1, 75, 508 rupees but now I feel that I have faced a great loss having bought those bangles.

        I am a regular customer of Tanishq and I expected good service but sadly tanishq in cuttack is least bothered about the problem I have been facing and just telling me that they would exchange it when the offer comes . I was informed that the offer would be in May or June but now I m being said that it is between June to July.

        I request you to kindly look into the matter and take proper actions at the earliest because it has already been above 6 months and I have not worn it for once also. I expect that I would be returned all the amount that i have payed or I should be allowed to replace the bangles with the new ones at the same price .

        I will be highly obliged at your kind response.

        Sir, This is in reference to the Golden Harvest Scheme that i have in Guwahati, Assam. There is an agreement that the cheques are to be collected from my residence. But every month after ringing the executives for around a dozen ties, there is no response. Above that, I keep getting sms after sms about non-payment. You have no business to dupe the people of Assam in this manner. I[censored] cannot give business, just move out! This is for the last time i m lodging a written complaint after which i shall move to the consumer court. My account number is 9956.

          I got a Titan Edge watch (Model No:1290 BM01) on 2nd,sep 2010.
          I got this to my fiancee as our engagement gift.
          Worst thing is that the watch stopped working some foour months back.We took it to the Titan World in Pattom,Trivandrum from where we got it for service.They told it is the problen with battery and they have changed it.It started working but again after 2 weeks it stopped.We took it again to the showroom,they told again prblem with battery and they have changed it.Asusual it started working and again stopped working after 1 month.We had gone almost wild and went to service centre.They got the watch from us and told they will be sending to the titan head office to replace entire mechanism and tols we will bw getting in 1 week.But got it after 2 weeks and it was running.Again the watch stooped working today.Since it was gifted to my fiancee on a most memorable day i feel very bad about this issue.I never used to comprise for quality,that is the reason i went for a costlier one.But this proves it is not worth for it.We had to walk to the service centre for thrice in the past 3 months.This is a worst example of such quality product which did not stand for it name.

          Titan Edge — Defected Piece

          I order for titan edge but when my sister recived it and when she enquired the titan showroom people said is not a titan edge its a fake one. And for this fake piece they charged me $154.00. So when i call to customer no. it directly goes to voicemail. So i am running out of options.
          I really appreciate your post and you explain each and every point very well.Thanks for sharing this information.And I’ll love to read your next post too.

            I am Anuj Choudhary a trainee navigator. I had purchased titan glasses consists of Frame-Vybes and Lens Fsv costing Rs 2775 (after discount) made full payment on 15 June through PNB debit card , from titan authorized showroom in Agra that is NITIN EYE CARE , Taj Road , Nand X-ing , Near Sader Bazar, Agra -282001 on 15 evening 1920 , they said that to put titan lense they will take 30 minutes more they made an 1 hour .I received my delivery at 2030HR without an receipt or a bill they are arguing that you again have to wait one hour , or its better sir i[censored] take tomorrow ,OK I told them I will take tomorrow .Now when I went today they gave me TAX INVOICE DUPLICATION , that I didn't seems for any use . Please make a proper management of your agency across India , and I want the original bill with guarantee card also.

              The item which was ordered by me was not up to the satisfation. The margin money @ 75% of the total cost was paid by me in this respect also.
              As the order can not be repeated by the manager of showroom, I am bound to purchase another item for the same cost.

                Do not visit Kandivali (West) Titan Eye showroom. My wife and mother in law went to showroom for purchasing specs for mother in law. The lady who attended them was unpolished and rude enough to make anyone desrespect. She demanded previous specs but unfortunately my mother in law was not carrying with her. They had to call me and over the phone I just enquired with lady that why previous specs are required. On that she replied have i ever been to eye hospital or eye testing centre and that also on top of her voice. I was quite furious and reached there with previous specs. I asked her is these the manner to talk with customer. On that she got more furious and started saying you do not have right to talk to her over phone. I told her it was basic enquiry which was must. Further she told that she is not ready to do eye testing and will not provide any services. I was quite shocked with her behavior and told her that we are not here for availing charity. She replied that we provide free eye testing. It was unbelievable. On top of that her manager jumped in between the conversation and took her favor without knowing head and tail of situation. Rather then teaching her some manners, he was like completely on her favor. I was too furious to handle this and left from there without any further talks. I was highly upset with the quality of people deployed at Titan Eye store in kandivali (west). Beleive me it was not at all as per titan standards. I will prefer to make police complaint for such non sense people.

                  I want to register compalint against titan eye plus where i gave order for spectacles on saturday(21st may 2011 and told to get delievery on 25th may 2011, Got a call from store of titan eye plus chandigarh at 8.10pm telling spectacles are not ready as raw material finisihed , please explain it takes 4days to inform customer for same, Heights of all executive telling me to purchase new glasses with higher price as readily available

                  what a harrasment , i think one should understand spectacles is imp part but executive sitting in TITAN eye plus store took it so lightly

                    I had purchased specs with progressive lenses on 18th March from their Lucknow store in Hazrat Ganj.I made to total purchase of approx 18000/-.Within a month its delivery ( 30th March) both the lenses are chipped from same place.I was given a frame in which as soon as you close the specs both sticks go and hit the lenses.Even though my usage is less and handling very careful it has happened because of defective frame.I took up the matter and shockingly I was told that I should have bought polycarbonate lenses.They admitted that any kind o[censored]sage would have resulted in chipping of lenses from same place because lenses are hit again and again but at the same time they said it is not covered under warrantty.
                    I am shocked with this treatment from a TATA company.I requested for immediate replacement of lenses and due modification in frame.I also suggest action on employees at Hazraganj branch who were poor in saying I should have bought poly carbonate to save myself from defective frame. Does that mean that if you buy normal prgressive lenses for which I paid Rs 7000/- and frame for which I paid Rs 2500/- it will last only a month.A purchase of 9500/- is now down the drain.

                      i had bought a titan automatic watch a year back,but have been shattered by the product as well as the service given by Titan.In one year i had been given the watch 6 times for servicing,and still after the entire machinery had been changed ,still the problem continues,now the watch doesn't give exact time as it delays for an hour everyday.More than that your people had mishandled my watch while servicing as the back plate is now rusting,which is clearly visble.Please help me out what to do now...

                        Tanishq follows double stanards when treating their customers. Me being a online GH member, Tanishq has ignored to honor me with their 60 days prematurity offer which is available to all their GH customer who have enrolled directly in thier boutiques.

                        UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

                        I am a unhappy customer and victim of poor service, delay in response, no follow-up by the well known, branded Tanishq jewellery. I have been purchasing several items over last 5 years. And when I wanted to return couple of my jewels and encash - the real side of Tanishq is seen.

                        Bad Service
                        No follow-up and updates
                        Delay in processing

                        They provide outstation cheque after 3 weeks, and for the cheque to realize it will take 2 more weeks. So, eventually if you are going to encash for the jewels you have got, its going to take 2 months overall.

                        And when we complaint in the showroom, or in the customer care, or to regional managers - YOU KNOW WHAT THE RESULTS WOULD BE.

                        THEY SAY, THEY WILL CHECK AND CALL BACK - BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. THIS IS WHAT A BRANDED COMPANY, CHARGING US LEFT, RIGHT AND CENTER FOR THEIR JEWELS OFFER US BACK WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO VALUE FOR MONEY - CRUNCHING YOUR MONEY SITUATION WITH THE EXORBITANT DELAYS ETC...

                        I AM NEVER GOING TO BUY AGAIN FROM TANISHQ - AND WILL MOVE ON TO OTHER JEWELLERS. AND WILL ENSURE THAT ALL MY FRIENDS, KNOWN CIRCLE PEOPLE, COLLEAGUES, RELATIVES ARE ALSO MOVING AWAY FROM TANISHQ.

                          I was presented with a titan world time digital watch by my son to whom the same was presented by his employer "Infosys". I received the watch in unused condition and I was the first user. The watch worked well for two years and then the entire screen went blank.I contacted the dealer in Trissur and Palakkad and was told that the same cannot be repaired.
                          I am aware that it is a costly watch and it really hurts me to know that a titan watch has only the life of two years.
                          Is there anything that the company can do in this regard? I am prepared to send back the watch if the same can be serviced by Titan's main factory.

                            I had purchased a watch of Titan Industries Limited on 15/08/2005 from WORLD OF TITAN, KALAKAR STREETSHOWROOM, KOLKATA - 700007 with extended warranty of 3 years in addition to normal warranty of 2 years = 5 years.

                            During the course of period 3 times the watch was under breakdown and they happen to replace the battery free of cost under EW. Lastly they replaced it on 18/06/2010. Now since Nov-2010 the watch is not working and I happen to send the watch for their evaluation wherein the service centre has given an huge estimate for repairing just after the expiry of Extended Warranty which shows that knowingly the service centre didn't serviced the watch properly as the warranty was expiring shortly and know that they will charge latter after the expiry.

                            It simply shows the service centre has cheated me in addition the company is also not responding to my numbers of mails and feedback submited on their portal.

                            Kindly initiate necessary steps.

                              I had purchased a spectacle worth apprx 4000 in the name of Abhijit Tadvi from Koramangala branch Bangalore, only on the basis of trust on Titan brand name. Within few days the screw broke off and since then I have been trying to get it repaired. First I went to the branch where I purchased it from but they didn't do anything about it. Then I moved to Pune and tried and kalyani nagar branch.. even they are not doing anything about it and not even providing a solution for it. My trust on the brand is absolutely gone now. I thought Titan would like to know that its customers are losing faith now.

                                sir,
                                i purchased my spectacles from titan eye plus, mysore, karnataka.
                                while eye testing, i was given option to select between few powers so i selected the better option of all powers given to me.
                                i mentioned that i'm not very comfortable with the power...doctor said because my power has changed.
                                when i got new spectacles...as i put them on, i told something is wrong with the power...they said again that my power has changed..i should try these glasses for two three days and even then if problem persists then they will replace the glass without extra charge. i tried..but glasses only gave me headache. i went back , the manager said ,' it was our mistake, ok we will change glasses in three four days..' .
                                but then they called me later and said i hav to pay Rs 570 for new lense. or get my eye sight checked by another doctor and show them the prescription.
                                in this case who will pay for the doctor's fee and who will compensate for the amount of time and money that i am wastng because of their mistake. if my power comes changed...??
                                i am very troubled because of this incident for one month.

                                  Purchased Spectacles of Titan Eye plus brand ignoring the other brands. I chose Titan Eye plus
                                  to invest my hard earned money towards my purchase of Spectacle to my wife aged 63 years.
                                  Any one, if go through the below narrated statement of facts will certainly blame me as I was
                                  wrong to chose Titan Eye plus at Usman Road, T.Nagar. (Near Chennai Silks)

                                  Statement of facts:

                                  1. On 24/07/2010, I purchased a spectacle (Refer: The sale order TCTNo.1547 of Rekha Dept Store,
                                  Chennai-17, TIN No: [protected].-Invoice No: BIC0001482 dt 24/07/2010) from Titan Eye plus show
                                  room/store at Usman Road, T.Nagar. (Near Chennai Silks)

                                  The lenses were found defective (poor workmanship with scratches and at the glass and frame fitting
                                  points) at the time of taking delivery. They took more than three weeks to replace the defective lenses.
                                  When asked for the reason for the delay the concerned staffs said that they do not keep spare lenses
                                  with them and that it would take two to three weeks to receive the lenses from Titan Eye wear division.

                                  Till then my wife suffered without wearing glasses

                                  (2)Again, on 16/03/2001, the frame had broken may be due to the poor quality. It may kindly be
                                  noted that it had been insured and one year warranty was assured from the date of purchase.
                                  A requisition for replacing the defective frame was given along with the defective frames and with
                                  both of the lenses on 19th March 2011. On 11th of April 2011, when I contacted at Titan Eye plus
                                  show room/store at Usman Road, T.Nagar. (Near Chennai Silks) over phone for the readiness of the
                                  spectacles, I was so shocked to hear that the spectacles were not ready and that they were yet to
                                  receive the frame from the HO, Titan Eye wear division. Also said that he will send a reminder mail
                                  to the HOS. He also said that it may take five or six days more to receive the frame.

                                  Kindly note that my wife is suffering without proper vision for want of spectacles From 19/03/2011
                                  Doesn’n the delay and deviation from the commitments of Titan Eye plus to the customers deserve
                                  Legal action under consumer Protection Act to claim compensation for the physical sufferings and
                                  The related losses?

                                    I has purchased a Titan watch (octane series) from the Colaba World of Titan showroom about 20 months back at a substancial cost (approx Rs 4000). Within a year of my purchasing the watch,the plastic strap broke, I gave the watch for repairs to the service centre (temporarily shifted to westside Kalaghoda branch). To my surprise, the company says that the strap is no longer in manufacture and hence not available. The watch has been rendered useless although in excellent condition as i sparingly used it. On asking the company for a refund minus the cost of the strap, the answer is that they are willing to refund only 60% of cost of watch. Pls advise me as to what can be done regarding the case. I have written a number of emails to their consumer department but havent got any replies todate. This is the response from such a well known company called Titan..Pls advise.

                                      I had brought a titan-FASTRACK wrist watch from SOHUM-DIBRUGARH. on the very day of buying, the salesman mishandled it while setting the DATE. after few month the watch became nonfuntional.When i went to show it it was in warrenty period and they told me to cillect it after 1 month.But it is now more than 2 month and when i go to ask about it, they just ignores me and give some irrelevent reason. I request you kindly to look into the matter.
