i bought specs from titan eye+ worth Rs.53000 in all. at the tym of purchase they told me about a unique policy in which they said that 80% of the amount of each spec is insured and in case of lose or theft or damage of spec we can claim the insurance and get ANY new spec by juz paying 20% of th cost. and for one of the spec i did so and got new one. but now when i am asking for the claim of other specs they refuse to act according to the policy saying that we dont give insurance claim now. its fine if you dont give it now.but the customers who bought such expensive frames just because of security given to them then the policy remains for them. now they are just making me go mad.m sick of calling store, area manager,sales manager, n mailing them evry day.
i am so disappointed that a brand like titan can be so fraud.

    I had purchase a frame from them at the same time I saw that frame was on faulty when I told them that frame is poor in quality they assured me to replace the same model in 3 to 4 days . Because I had made payment so there is nothing to argue with them . Almost after passing of 2 fortnight there is no proper answer from.them ,in-between I have visited there showroom 4 ,5 times but the answer is only this we will give u the replace but til the day l did not get the delivery of the same . That all happens from there karolbagh,ajmalkhan road branch. I m very much upset on this .kindly help me to het my money back or the delivery of the same and the compensation for the harassment .

      This is Jiten Patel. I have one complaint regarding my watch Tommy .I have bought that from CG Road Ahmedabad before month. Last one month this is second time it get stop and nobody is giving me proper answer even Mr. Urvish ( Store Manager ) does not knowing proper system. Every time he is giving us different answer. I after one week I have big occasion and he is saying it will takes two week that means my occasion will gets spoil. Infact they give us different email id to complant.Ultimately you TITAL gets spoil my occasion. Please do the needful ASAP. I am not expecting the response from you (TITAN) but still I am doing it because the name join with you is TATA.

        Respected sir,
        i would like to say that, i use the wrist watch o[censored]r comany(sonata) from many years ago with my family members and friends also.
        The quality o[censored]r goods was very good.
        but i found the problem with my watch from 4 to 5 months of model no. 7925SAA (silver color) that the dial have been distorted from the sides that turns to be teared the slives of shirts.
        I bought this watch from 2 years ago from the aligarh (railway road).
        i think you are not awaring for your product's quality.so please keep these problems in your mind at the time of manufacturing by which the customer's believe can maintain.

          Hi..
          I am H Kumar from Kochi. I had a selected a Titan frame from Kochi show room and ordered a lens for offical use for short sight. I had test etc. I paid complete amount Rs.3400 on first week of Dec 2010 and promised delivery after one week. I got the glass after 20 days with continus follow up. When I got the glass, I could not use in the office use, only longer sight, i.e. for driving etc. I was very upset and went to show room again, they said that the guy took the order from me is on leave, come after two days. I went after four days, the guy was still on leave. I went again after two days, unfortunetly the guy was on leave only.
          I met the manager, requested him give me the frame without glass. Finaly after almost one month I GOT THE FRAME WITHOUT GLASS.

          My request all of you, pls make it sure that you ordering the right glass before sign any papers..
          Once you sign, no second chance...... because their service and behaviour is very BAD. Sorry to say..

            Hi,
            I bought a Titan Raga, which costs 6000 rupees in last August from Joy Alukkas wedding centre, Kollam. Since then the chain has been broken 4 or 5 times. It seems there is some problem with lock also. I have given it for repairing in Joy Alukkas once and second time in the Titan shop in Forum mall Bangalore. Both the times they assured me that the chain has been replaced. But again the chain has been broken.

Secondly, when i showed this watch to other store in noida then they were saying the watch you are showing is worth Rs.1800. So, i just want to know that have i been cheated from gorakhpur...

            Giving misleading information and then harassing consumers

            Purchase of Gold: Tanishq showroom, Cathedral Road, Chennai

            My Mother, Mrs. Sridevi Kumar was a regular Tanishq customer for the last 5 years. Last year in December, she took up the Golden Harvest scheme for Rs. 5000/- a month. On Nov 5th this year (2010), we made our payment for the 11th month of the scheme and called the Showroom/office in Cathedral road, Chennai to inquire when we could make our purchase.

            i have this watch 9142PP01..with me...and this watches belt is damage so.. i give this watch to your fastrack service centre in porbandar 4 months ago... and i am still waiting for my watch with new belt... service center guys are saying that... company no more make this product... and there is no way to get the original belt for that watch... i dont know why i file complain on fastracks official site...and surprisingly i didnt get any kind...

            I had ordered a pair of 6 contact lenses. I was assured by the Titan Eye+ store in Mani Square that my lenses would be delivered to me in 10 days. 15 days passed and seeing no contact from their side, I called them up only to find that my lenses had still not come. Its been 20 days now, since I paid an advance of 1000/-. Is this the way a company is supposed to treat consumers. And going by the number of complaints there are against Titan Eye+. The store should actually be shut down. Aside from inflated prices, their service is entirely disgusting. Now they don't even talk properly with me. I just don't want my money back. I want them to be taught a proper lesson. It is just sickening how a company can work like this. If you can't keep promises, don't make them.

            After 20 days of pressure, they have given me a pair of 10 daily use contact lenses for me to use during the time they get me my lenses. It is going to take a month to get me contact lenses. Strange.
            Avoid Titan Eye PLus and MAni SQuare Store.Had a similar farudalent experience!

              Titan Watch Company — Defective Machine

              I have purchased a ladies Titan Raga(L) wrist watch TITAN (2) W.D Golden having m-no.-23244AB on[protected] from M/s Golden watch & Electronics 120A, Raja S.C.M. Road, Garia, Kolkata-700047 vide Cash Memo No. 45395. The watch defective from the very begining and now and then being stopped for which the Vendor finally taken back the same on[protected] for taking necessary care by the Company and the same was scheduled to be delivered as early as possible but latest by[protected]. On[protected], the Vendor informed me that the same is yet to be delivered by the Company, however they promised that within 7th of December,10 the delivery is assured.
              As you agree Titan Raga series wrist watch is costly and should give best service. But the purchased watch may have some inherent defect and therefore need replacement.
              Please inform the Manufacturer and the Vendor for taking remedial action early otherwise I will have no other alternative but to go to the Consumer Court for redrressal.

                Because the 3 casestones has fallen down.this is my second complaint posted, as which my first complaint was that 1stone has fallen down ,during the gaurentee period,for which i was a solution after a long time.even now i stand with the same complaint...this is very much disappointing me... .
                Therefore this product is not of satisfactory quality, as laid down by the law and a by a branded company .To resolve the problem I require you to refund , whilst reserving my right to claim against you.

                  Appalled with the extremely poor quality of product and customer service.Had placed an order for Rx lenses Ref TKCS5230 dated 2.10.10 with the Camac Street Show room in Kolkata.The spects were supposed to be delivered on 10.10.2010 but it never happened,excuse-Puja Holidays.After some follow -ups recd a call on 19.10.10 that the same was ready and the delivery was taken by my dad on 20.10.10 as I was not in town.But to my utter surprise I found out that the lenses were not properly fitted in the frame ,lense edges not polished properly and both lenses were full of scratches.The spects was retnd to the showroom on 22.10.10 by me in person and a replacement of the lenses was assured(replacement note issued) . I was supposed to receive a call for the same when ready.However when I did not receive a call frm the showroom I visited in person once again on 07.11.2010 and was stunned to receive the spects with the same old lenses which were supposed to be replaced.When pointed out the staff was apologetic and someone senior probably the manager assured me of delivery by 9.11.2010.However I received a call on 08.11.2010 wherein I was informed that it would take some more time.Just before writing this complaint I had called up the showroom only to learn that the spects are not yet ready!!!!!!One and a half months since placement of order.Pathetic is what I must say.Even small shops in the PARA would have done a better job and would have given a flawless delivery in much shorter time.My foolishness that I went by the brand name and decided to experiment outside GKB & Lawrence & Mayo.I would be obliged if Titan is kind enough to give me delivery of my spects with the lenses in appropriately good condition without further delay and save me the trouble of wasting precious time on enquiry over phone and personal visits.I promise that I will not trouble them further by placing new orders or referring their name for business to others.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I purchased a Gents wrist watch (Fast Track - Variant No- 1172SL05) at a titan showroom (World of TITAN Thane) on 26th June 2010 with 5 years extended warranty. After 2 months my watch stop working, so i have visited the showroom's service desk, they inspected the watch and when asked about the same they said there is no issue with battery, problem with the machine and they kept the watch for 10 days for repair. On 11th Oct 2010,when I visited the service desk, i found my watch is working but observed a gap between inner dial and frame(They were arguing on that gap is not a big issue, so I asked them to show me another same watch and if both are identical then i will take my watch back. but they don’t have the same model available), Now a new call is logged(Details below) and now they said it will take another 1 month and given me receipt with approx Delivery Date - 11/11/2010.
                    Now as on 11/11/2010 when I visited the Titan showroom I found that my watch is still not repaired and is still with them. What to do now?
                    My Request:
                    I want the damaged watch to be repaired/replaced at the earliest & a proper training be given to the guys in the showroom(Service Desk) about the etiquette of handling a customer.

                    Fast Track Watch of TITAN — Repair of Fast Track Watch

                    Since last six month, I've complained for My watch belt has been broken. Now, need to be change the belt of our watch. I also ready to expcence required amt for changes. But still, nobodies giving proper reply.
                    Required action against of seller or manufacturer, if his not giving proper reply on time, then who will purchase the branded product?
                    i bought watch(army collection), costing rs 3000 on 13th march, 09 by the evening itss one of the parts fell down ... when i approached the shopkeeper(army watch house, city chownk, jammu) he refused to change the watch bought 2 hours before.. so plse advice me ... what step should i take...

                      I placed two orders worth Rs 7000 with Titan eye+ , one for a frame with glasses and another for contact lenses

                      1. On the date of delivery of the first package AFTER calling them up , they tell me that the package was not delivered to the showroom yet and that they would call back, which they NEVER DID. Upon calling them again and venting my anger they stated that they made an error in billing and the glasses would cost much more ( Rs 3000 ) . This same powered glasses ( CRISAL lenses) would cost HALF as much in a local opticians store and no ! there is no difference in quality as they are provided by the Lens manufacturer as per the prescription. Add to that it takes them forever to process any request. It took me a good 40 minutes to have my order processed and another 40 minutes to have my refund processed

                      2. Called up the centre for the delivery of the second package and they NEVER PICKED UP on multiple attempts !! And no the phone was not busy just not answered. Aren't they supposed to call us and inform us of the delivery. Heck ! event the lowly local optician ensures you are called when the package is ready


                      CALLOUS and PATHETIC customer service . They just DONT CARE about you! Most of their offerings are grossly OVERPRICED. ZERO VALUE for MONEY
                      just a set of jokers.. csc no does not work, toll free no goes unanswered, corp office - lunch time? (@1:35pm) please!!! did make a BIG mistake for the 10k that i'm spending - never again!!

                        I had purchased a Titan wrist watch worth Rs. 5500 , Model 9214SM03- JS44. I am attaching the invoice + poor quality of the product for further details. Dealer : World of Titan -Ambawadi, Ahmedabad (Invoice: F[protected]

                        I had been a loyal Titan customer till now but their pathetic responses and poor customer handling has wiped out my loyalty and I have started advising my influence group for not buying Titan watches.

                        You can see from attached photograph that the wrist strap - rubber strips started getting torn down before even completion of 15 months. The funny thing is that the replacement cost of strap is 45% of the original cost... that too they can not guarantee about the quality of the replaced strap. I would rather buy another watch than this.

                        Worst part is the response to my complaint. To my 10+ emails and followups, i have received reply only only once that too was a kind of system generated with no importance attached to it.

                        I will have more things added in forum if no further replies given to me.

                        Hope somebody from Titan noticing it.

                            I AM NOT VERY HAPPY TO LODGE THIS COMPLAIN BUT ITS BEEN A DISGUSTING SCENARIO WHERE A REPUTED COMPANY LIKE TANISHQ MAKES ITS CUSTOMERS WAIT INDEFINITLY FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE ORDRERED PRODUCT.
                            I ORDERED A DIAMOND RING ON 3rd OF SEPTEMBER AT ONE OF YOUR FRANCHISE IN JHANSI BY THE NAME OF JMK ENTERPRISES.IT WAS PROMISED BY THE MANAGER THAT THE DELIVERY WILL BE MADE WITHIN A PERIOD OF 2 WEEKS AT THE MAX. AND THE SAME WAS MENTIONED IN THE RECEIPT GIVEN TO ME.EVEN AFTER GOING FOR SEVERAL TO AND FRO ROUNDS OF THE OUTLET NO SATISFACTORY ANSWER WAS GIVEN BY THE DEALING STAFF OR THE MANAGER HIMSELF.
                            MY ENGAGEMENT IS PLANNED FOR NEXT MONTH FOR WHICH I ORDERED THE RING WELL IN ADVANCE OWING TO THE GOOD NAME THAT IS ATTACHED WITH YOUR BRAND NAME.I AM SERVING IN AIR FORCE AND RIGHT NOW POSTED IN MYSORE SO ITS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO GO AND CHECK THE STATUS OF DELIVERY.THE ONLY MALE MEMBER IN MY HOME IS MY AGED FATHER FOR WHOM ITS BEEN A HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE OF RUNNING UP AND DOWN TO THE SHOP EVERYTIME .I PAID ALMOST WHOLE OF THE AMOUNT SO THAT PAYMENT REASONS ARE NOT CRIED BY YOUR STAFF IF THERE IS A DELAY IN DELIVERY.HAD MY ENGAGEMENT BEEN IN THIS MONTH ITSELF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A DAMN EMBARRASSING MOMENT FOR JUST BECAUSE OF THAT RING.
                            I DONOT KNOW WHETHER ITS A STANDARD PRACTICE AT TANISHQ OR I AM THE FIRST IN THE QUEUE OF SUFFERERS.I LOOK FORWARD TO THE CUSTOUMER CARE DESK FOR THE SPEEDY RESOLVING OF THE ISSUE AND FACILITATING EARLIEST POSSIBLE DELIVERY OF THE ORDERED PRODUCT.

                              Dear blue dart sarvice provider i thik this is the my 10th to 12th complane regarding your sarvece my doc no [protected] this is the pickup from banglore in the date of 05.10.2010.. and stil not recved we are every day tocking to your agent in mumbai,banglore they are not giving me a spacfick right ans.also your raipur ware house & office staff is not pik the fone we are tring the in 100 times. if you are not able to dilver the parcel in right time then do 1 thing sutdown your company because it is not giving the any courier in right tims.

                                I have purchased Xylys Titan watch for Rs.17000 from Titan showroom located at Feroze Gandhi market. When i went back to exchange the watch the salesperson started to claim Rs. 1000 more from me saying that the price tag on watch was placed mistakenly on it. the sales people behaved unethically. When I told them I would take legal action against them for the same they agreed to exchange the watch but refused to refund the balance of Rs.3000 for the same and instead they wanted me to purchase only Xylys company watch from that balance whose price was more than the balance.
