He asked me to verify my account details and then he would initiate the refund. After verifying, he asked to send a Code to a phone number he would mention.

I was told that if I send the code from my registered phone number(which bdw is also the same with my bank account) in 60 seconds, they would be able to initiate the refund, which is pretty unusual to believe. Still after attempting 5/6 times, he was unable to initiate the refund in time. After those many times when I told him I would not send the code again and asked him to initiate the refund in some other way, he disconnected the call.
Please reach out to their customer service and ask for an explanation for this method of refund!
