    I've been having problem with my toshiba. I have called the call centr ms. Archana doesn't want to register my complaint telling that to repair the washing machine it will take 3 to 4 months and she told that visiting by technician and he will charge rs. 500 to rs.1000/- to say the spare parts is not available and take time and do not want to register complaints, whereas i have talked to a service manager where he is insisting to register complaint then only he will send the technician. I am calling the service center and manager for the past 3 days but could not succeed.

    What type of service cernter is this? No parts available; no one wants to register complaint; call center giving the information 'sorry for the inconvenience" if there is no spare parts, why toshiba is selling their brand items in india or abroad and to fool people why wasting call center staff?

    My question is, if you do not have the spare parts, if you do not have a service centre that can take care of the issue, why have a call centre and fool people. These technicians that come over, charge you for nothing that they do and then tell you that your equipment can't be repaired. Consumer coplaints can able to inform whether we can aproach the consumer court to settle the issue?

      Sir,

      I had purchased one no. Toshiba led tv with following details
      S. No. F116d2j00023u1,
      Model no. 32p2400ze
      Bill no. 225 dated 18.07.2015 (Book no. 2)
      From m/s. Jeet electronics, madanpur khadar, new delhi-76
      With extended toshiba warranty of 2 years warranty unique service pack id exb23fbk1.

      *first complaint no. Tiplsr28xho2720, dated 28.10.2017 for non-functional of display was resolved on 19.01.2018 and delivered on 22/23.01.2018.
      *second complaint no. Tiplsr212i00313, dated 21.02.2018, whereas it was delivered on 12.03.2018 and was broke into / damaged by the delivery boy and the same was taken back. Again they brought the said broken led tv for delivery and was not acknowledged / accepted by the undersigned being in broken / damaged condition.

      The said toshiba led tv is still awaited from the service center.

      It is requested to please arrange to direct the concerned company to provide the new led tv within one week of the same feature to the undersigned so as to resolve the matter as the said article is still under warranty.

      Hoping to receive a favourable consideration at your gracious hands at an early date.

        Dear sir,
        I had purchased few years ago Toshiba LED television, In my Toshiba 25 inch led tv, USB pot & HDMI Pot not working.
        Kindly help and send technician for repair.
        Four or five years ago I purchase Toshiba led tv. It's working nicely. But last one week suddenly usb pot and HDMI pot not working. Kindly resolve.

          I have purchased my toshiba led 40l5400 android tv with serial no e393d6j00450v1 on 24th apr 2015 via snapdeal. I received my led on my address on 27th apr 2015, after which i had called toshiba customer care for installation and also the extended warranty. On 28th apr 2015, service engineer visited my house and installed the led wall mounted. Also provided the 2 year extended warranty card for which i have paid rs.800. Service engineer asked me to send sms in the format mentioned in the warranty card on the number mentioned in that. After which i had received a sms of confirmation.

          Service engineer confirmed for the extended warranty and left.

          On 13th feb 2018 when i was facing issue with my usb in led, i called customer support person, they are mentioning your extended warranty is not present in database and i need to contact corporate mail id for this and provided the this mail id. I mailed all documents along with proof of my bill that i had sent mail on the number provided. Only i was not able to show confirmation message as on the mobile which i received is been dead now due to fault in mother board, so not sure how to recover the message.

          Toshiba is not helping at all and due to there system failure which doesn't register my sms in there system they are denying the warranty service for which i had paid rs. 800 at the time of installation.

          Please help me on this.
          If required i can provide all the proofs as i mentioned.

            I have lodged a complaint for defect in toshiba led tv. The tv is in extended three year warranty period.
            After frequent chase up to toshiba also, the complaint is still open.
            On asking the toshiba guys again nd again, i get to know that my complaint was closed withput attending it. This is the height o[censored]nprofessional behaviour and is not less than a fraud with customer.
            Till date on asking them i am getting reply that mother board is not yet received and will be replaced once recieved from company

              I purchased a toshiba 40inch LED TV on 2/04/2015 which is 3yrs warranty but it damaged on 27/12/2017 I registered a complain with complain no SR011I00022 on 01/01/2018 and service technician told me that mother board part has been ordered on 05/05/2018 but till now didn't any response and calls for my tv repair I want to know how would be long for the warranty part order received validation. And I want to know where I complain it to resolve.

                I purchased a 3tb ext hdd in dec 2017. It stopped working.

                I called toshiba and spoke to almost 20 people. Each one gave me a different ph number. When i called that number i was not that it's not the right number and i need to call some other number.
                Looks like toshiba did not educate their employees about which number to give. For that customrs like me are suffering.
                My problem is not resolved.
                Very dissatisfied with your pathetic customer service.
                Should share this in social media so that my friends does not do the stupidity of purchasing anything from toshiba.

                    Hello there...
                    Would like to let u know that this is our second lcd tv (Model no. 32p2400ze) o[censored]r company which is in defect. Also regret for the purchase of your product which we believed was a good choice.
                    However, we followed the process of informing your authorized dealer about the complaint and their visit gave us another shock of spending more bucks for the same product which is unacceptable.
                    It's really sad to spend so much money on tv which gets defected within 2 years of its use.
                    Hence i request the authorized dept. Or the person of the same company to do the needful and sort this issue as soon as possible, if not then we shall move legally.

                      I purchased 4 toshiba ac from lucknow 2 years back and now none of then is
                      Working. The dealer is suggesting me to get the ic of all 4 ac replaced
                      Which will cost me around 2 lakhs. I wanted to know if after every 2 years
                      Ill have to get the ic’s replace and spent another 2 lakhs. If there is a
                      Problem with all the ac right after the warranty period expires then it is
                      Likely to happen even after i replace the current ic. I am ready to pay the
                      Charges provided that it does not happen every year.

                      This is not possible and i wanted to know if anything can be done. The
                      Dealers are not entirely supportive and do not have any advise to offer.

                      I tried to get help from various company numbers but none has been provide
                      . So its my request to the company to please let me know if this is the

                            I purchased toshiba cricket series led. Now this tv is not working and it's under waranty, i lodged the complain on 15th november 2017 on toshiba customer care, engineer visited at my home on 17 nov 2017. He told me that we have to change the parts, and till date i have to wait for change the parts. I discussed many times on customer care, each time they said that you have to wait few days. Then i got a mobile number from toshiba customer care regional manager mr. Pramod - [protected]. I also discussed my problem with him many times at the end he told me that our company not running fine so we didn't have a parts, and you should wait. But he din't give me any exact timing when he repaired or change the parts of my tv.

                            Kindly do the needful. So i got the solution for my problems.

                              I purchase the toshiba led tv from vijay sales, andheri w mumbai still in warranty period. Due to problema in tv, service center person pickup my tv before 2 months and provide me receipt. But still not repaired my tv and when asked for the same give me the reason as panel of the tv not available. But not confirm when it is available and repair my tv. It's worse service by toshiba.

                                We bought our toshiba smart led tv on[protected]. We lodged complaint in june, 2017 and till date the complaint has not been resolved. I made visited vijaysales and even they are not cooperating at all. Toshiba people do not bother at all and till date we have not been contacted by either toshiba or vijaysales to resolve the complaint. The tv is dead for last 6 months. An absolute waste of inr 85000.
                                I bought it two around two years ago. But few weeks ago it stopped working. It has 5 years warranty.

                                  I have purchased an toshiba 40 inch led tv on[protected] with 2 years extented warranty valid till[protected] from abelectronics mohan sing market rk puram new delhi.
                                  The tv is not working and they do mot want to repair as they say they do not have received sms for the extenred warranty which was sent on the day of installation itself. They say panel has gone and asking rs. 33000/- for the panel plus installation charges for a simple 40 inch led taken at 52 k - afterwards prices further fallen.

                                  Tv not working in a short time and they now want rs. 33000/- for panel plus installation charges out total purchase cost of 52 k - (Prices gone down later.)

                                  The warranty is upto[protected] but they say sms for extension not received, which was sent on the day of installation itself. No written confirmation was to come from toshiba. So now they refusing to honor the warranty.

                                  Toshiba now reduced demand from Rs.33000/-, panel cost to send technician for inspection. They now agreed my panel is fine as other ports on TV working.
                                  Inspection cost demanded is abnormal i.e. Rs.5000/- +. I declined as i want to take up further. All this via telephone and paper they are asking documents.
                                  Inspection cost of Rs. 5000/- is prohobitive and as good as you do not ask them to repair and normally other big players like Samsung, LG erc. charge about Rs. 500/-
                                  Really no care for customers by Toshiba so no alternative but to take approproiate legal action so that they are careful in future. Waiting for their final written response/ no response.
                                  I want to further update on my complaint.
                                  The Toshiba has now feels ( again on telephone) that there is no fault in panel but may be some minor fault for which they agreed to get it examined by sending a Technician. Can you believe how much they asked on telephone for visit of Technician - Rs. 5000/- plus some other expenses depending on distance from their service Centre plus repair / part replacement cost, if any. The technician ( Engineer) repair /inspection cost is about Rs. 500/- plus GST charged by Samsung, LG, and other reputed companies whereas Toshiba wants more than TEN TIMES . I refused as it was unreasonable - covered under warranty and abnormal. However they have come down SEVEN TIMES - from Rs. 33000/- to Rs. 5000/-
                                  I now feels that Toshiba hardly care for their customers and better thing is to approach to appropriate authorities including consumer courts so that they should be careful in future. I will do so in short time after waiting for some days for final response.

                                    Since our tv (Model 32l2400ze, sl. No. E51x25h00657ki in the name of my father sri gopal ch. Nandi) was out of order (Sound was coming, but picture was not visible) i contacted your authorized service centre, technoplaza, sodepur, west bengal ([protected], [protected]). They informed that service charge of rs. 690/- is to be paid. After checking, representative sri sudip, [protected] informed back-light had to be changed, for which price to be paid separately rs. 5, 000/-. The total amount paid was ts. 5, 690/-. Since it is your authorized service centre, i had no other option but to agree. He did the job on 03.12.2017. However, he did not give any receipt or bill in this regard. He has given only a service work order. On being asked he informed that the service centre does not issue bills because of gst. He did not return the back-light which he replaced and informed that the cost of back-light is more and since he has given discount, he did not return the item. After replacement it has been seen that it is a very small spare part and it is unbelievable that price of the same is more than rs. 5000/-. However, he informed that he does not know the actual price of the said spare parts.in view of the above, please inform,
                                    I) whether you encourage your service centres not to issue bills?
                                    Ii) whether amount he has taken is correct for the said service.
