I bought a Toshiba TV on 2014. The TV stopped working after 11 months. so i logged a complaint and the service personnel visited my home and confirmed that the panel is faulty and said a new TV will be provided since the TV was under warranty. I was not satisfied with the default alternatives offered and picked 32L5400ZE model by paying an additional amount. This TV also started to have problem in 10 months. The problem...

I have purchased an toshiba 40 inch led tv on[protected] with 2 years extented warranty valid till[protected] from abelectronics mohan sing market rk puram new delhi.
The tv is not working and they do mot want to repair as they say they do not have received sms for the extenred warranty which was sent on the day of installation itself. They say panel has gone and asking rs. 33000/- for the panel plus installation charges for a simple 40 inch led taken at 52 k - afterwards prices further fallen.
Also the tv panel gone so quickly shows bad quality of product

Purchased an led tv on[protected] with extented warranty of 2 years by paying good amount for warranty.
Tv not working in a short time and they now want rs. 33000/- for panel plus installation charges out total purchase cost of 52 k - (Prices gone down later.)

The warranty is upto[protected] but they say sms for extension not received, which was sent on the day of installation itself. No written confirmation was to come from toshiba. So now they refusing to honor the warranty.

Toshiba now reduced demand from Rs.33000/-, panel cost to send technician for inspection. They now agreed my panel is fine as other ports on TV working.
Inspection cost demanded is abnormal i.e. Rs.5000/- +. I declined as i want to take up further. All this via telephone and paper they are asking documents.
Inspection cost of Rs. 5000/- is prohobitive and as good as you do not ask them to repair and normally other big players like Samsung, LG erc. charge about Rs. 500/-
Really no care for customers by Toshiba so no alternative but to take approproiate legal action so that they are careful in future. Waiting for their final written response/ no response.
I want to further update on my complaint.
The Toshiba has now feels ( again on telephone) that there is no fault in panel but may be some minor fault for which they agreed to get it examined by sending a Technician. Can you believe how much they asked on telephone for visit of Technician - Rs. 5000/- plus some other expenses depending on distance from their service Centre plus repair / part replacement cost, if any. The technician ( Engineer) repair /inspection cost is about Rs. 500/- plus GST charged by Samsung, LG, and other reputed companies whereas Toshiba wants more than TEN TIMES . I refused as it was unreasonable - covered under warranty and abnormal. However they have come down SEVEN TIMES - from Rs. 33000/- to Rs. 5000/-
I now feels that Toshiba hardly care for their customers and better thing is to approach to appropriate authorities including consumer courts so that they should be careful in future. I will do so in short time after waiting for some days for final response.

    Since our tv (Model 32l2400ze, sl. No. E51x25h00657ki in the name of my father sri gopal ch. Nandi) was out of order (Sound was coming, but picture was not visible) i contacted your authorized service centre, technoplaza, sodepur, west bengal ([protected], [protected]). They informed that service charge of rs. 690/- is to be paid. After checking, representative sri sudip, [protected] informed back-light had to be changed, for which price to be paid separately rs. 5, 000/-. The total amount paid was ts. 5, 690/-. Since it is your authorized service centre, i had no other option but to agree. He did the job on 03.12.2017. However, he did not give any receipt or bill in this regard. He has given only a service work order. On being asked he informed that the service centre does not issue bills because of gst. He did not return the back-light which he replaced and informed that the cost of back-light is more and since he has given discount, he did not return the item. After replacement it has been seen that it is a very small spare part and it is unbelievable that price of the same is more than rs. 5000/-. However, he informed that he does not know the actual price of the said spare parts.in view of the above, please inform,
    I) whether you encourage your service centres not to issue bills?
    Ii) whether amount he has taken is correct for the said service.
    Please inform at the earliest.

      I have purchased hitachi internal hard drive 1 tb with 5 year warranty from my home town, karnal haryana. This year it got detected and i went to the shop keeper from where i have purchased it, shop keeper told me to keep it with him so that he should claim the warranty from company. Due to no service center or pick up facility i have to give hard disk to shop keeper. After approx. One month the shop keeper got it replaced and charge me rs.500/- for it as courier expenses etc. But i ever think i have to face such a problem after purchasing a branded toshiba hard drive, really very disappointed. I have western digital hard drive also but there service is very good, they collect defected hard drive from my premises and after getting it replaced they deliver, i appreciate western digital because if they don't have particular hard drive at time of replacement they upgrade and send it for quick and fast service because they know importance of time and necessity of hard drive. But toshiba has very slow process which takes very long time to get it replaced and chargeable too.
      The main thing is now the toshiba hard drive which is replaced few months back, got defected again and i went to the shop keeper for it but he doesn't gave proper response so i didn't understand where should i approch, so i decided to put complaint.
      Secondly who will bare rs.500/- again for replacement as courier expenses. Is it my fault i have trusted toshiba and purchased and suffering due to defected product for the second time. Why i should bare courier expenses etc to get it replaced if its in warranty. My hard drive is under warranty and i want to get it replaced as soon as possible

        My son in law purchased in usa toshiba laptop satellite model l55w-t5252 sno 8f030177s part no pslrau-00g008 in august 2016 and gifted it to me for use in india. This became defective - no display just 10 days after guarantee period
        Toshiba service centre in chennai evaluated it and informed me that mother board is to be replaced but they could not give me the price of motherboard

          I bought a cctv from amazon in the month of september 2017. It includes 2tb toshiba hard disk. I installed the same and it was working fine for one month. After a month its stopped working.
          I have 1 year warranty for the same. I don't know to whom i should contact for this. Please do the needful.

              I am not getting a new keyboard for my laptop. It's been a month i have been searching for it. I have given my toshiba tecra c50 laptop for service in two service centres and they had asked me to change the keyboard as it is not working i agreed to the proposal and they told they ll change and give it within a day. After a week, they told they didn't get the keyboard for this toshiba model. Then i gave it to another service centre and they too told the same. If you can't provide accessories on time, why are you bringing a new model to the market? My laptop is only one and a half year old.

                I bought this smart tv on 5.11.2016. After few months, it started giving troubles. Your engineer once came and told us that mother board is not working properly and hence replaced our smart mother board with an ordinary one and took it to get it repaired.
                Till now, our original mother board has not been replaced.
                Please take an action at the earliest possible as even this ordinary mother board is not working well and the tv gets stuck on its own.

                I have purchased a Toshiba LCD in the year 2012 model number is 32PB21ZE. However, from last 02 days, I am facing some issues of LCD panel. I am trying to call consumer care but hardly getting any proper answer.
                A month my led model 32P24002E was taken to change panel, but 2 weeks before they had told my panel is no the way from Delhi by road, and 1weeks before they telling panel is not arrived from Delhi, now it is coming from Chennai.                     I had contacted toshiba customer care thrice in the last few months. They are taking the complaint, but no one is attending to close the issue. At least no response in capital city like vijayawada in andhra pradesh state. Warranty will expire in few days. No proper information in online. Updated data is not available in their website.

                      I bought a toshiba lcd tv from flipkart in february 2015. Within 6 months the panel failed and after much effort and talking with all the top people in toshiba, i got them to replace the television. Now another problem with the replaced set is that the display has failed. I am currently put up in hosur and i called the toshiba call centre to register the complaint on sept 04 2017.                           I have a made complaint on toshiba on two months back. Every time i called toshiba customer care they told they will take care this time on higher priority.                             Our toshiba led 39inches tvs display gone after our complaint your service center balaji services. Godhavarikhani. Repaired it and he said back lights are gone and taken 10000 rs for that repair. And after one month same problem happened and we called them so many times approx 100times then he came after one month and take the tv with him to repair they said that with in 3days i will repair it but it taken above 1month he did not repair it and not responding us and my phone is not lifting i will se 1 week more and i go through the consumer forum

                                One the bad service i have ever seen from toshiba...
                                I have logged case on 21st oct 2017. For my toshiba tv 32p2305 which has display issue. The reference number for the same is 21xh01889

                                No one has responded yet, even though sla for same was called as 7 days.

                                Issue is still pending and no one is following up on this... What's going on???

                                I can say toshiba brand is good but the service is very very bad. My parents are calling toshiba service centre on a daily basis and the response is we are helpless. Really?? If you are helpless, i will make sure i inform everyone of helplessness of toshiba.

                                  My name is unmesh bhurke and bought toshiba led tv in may 2014 which is in warranty upto may 2017 i. E 3 yrs from the date of purchase. During the warranty period only my tv was not working properly and i had booked complaint on 16/04/2017 vide complaint no. Sr 4i0011957, service center person has visited our home and he checked our toshiba tv and said that there is problem with led panel & speakers and has to be changed. He took the copy of our invoice and said the tv is covered under warranty and that they have to order new parts from the company.. On further calls to the service centre.. They have replied to us that the parts have came from company but was faulty hence they have not came to replace it to our home... On further calls to the service centre yesterday i. E on 30.10.2017, i was shocked to hear that the complaint of ours tv is solved already... And complaint is closed from their side..

                                  I have told to the customer care representative that the complaint is not solved yet as the parts of our tv is never replaced by the company persons and no one has even come to us by taking any new parts to repair or anything like that.. But he is continuosly saying that complaint is closed from their side..

                                  So i thought of writing an email to you regarding this whole issue.. As on today my tv is not working properly and my complaint is also not solved.. My tv is having problem of panel & speakers as per your sevice person who has visited our home once..

                                  So please look into the matter as early as possible.

But last 27 day no response by them. Your aurtorised dealer told me that your company was closed. It's that true.                                       I am try many time call in you give customer service centre number but all number are not respond and number show me out of service. Plz action on my complaint fastly.
