My vc number is[protected] vediocon d2h, i have selected channels as per trai new giddiness and every 2 to 3 days they will disconnect my selected channels and demanding for extra amount please take action against this, and solve the problem as soon as possible, they are forcing me to take their packages and they are costly than my selected package, that’s why they are disconnecting my channels every 2 days and asking me to change packages

    We were having mega HD plan which comprises of almost all the main channels. Yesterday, we switched to ala carte and submitted our request by selecting 99 channels.
    Airtel did not remove the mega HD plan and added the ala carte over it.
    We called customer care to remove the mega HD plan . After it, only 22 channels are coming. Cutomer care team is saying that there must be some network problem at their end and only 22 channels got selected, not 99.
    They are asking to select the channels again.
    Are we supposed to spend time every day by selecting the channels?
    Airtel dth customer care service is so bad, they keep you waiting most of the time, sometimes they cut the call without informing and most of the time they dont have any solution to the problem.
    Its the end customer who is getting harassed even after paying so much of money.

      Dear Trai,

      I am a videocon d2h user with customer id[protected], from last 6 month, i am facing so much issue regarding services of videocon d2h. without intimation they activated add-on on my pack or deducted balance.

      Last Month 30 January i had recharge of Rs. 330 as per my pack value I should get services for 30 days but they have stopped service in 25th day without any intimation, when i registered the complaint they assure me to resolve the issue till 27th February but still issue has not resolved.

      As it's happened so many time, customer care service too bad, They keep call on hold for 15-20 min or disconnect any time, no reply on mail.

      Now i am frustrate to use videocon d2h even i don't want to use their services and strict action should be taken against Videocon d2h or Licence should be cancel for torturing their customer.

        I have two connection in same flat in two room and want to change the package as per our suite but Airtel was saying to change by going channel 998 which is very difficult also SMS not coming nor changing or can say not working. they were not make user friendly

        I continuously calling to service helpdesk number but they are very rude to answer also non-supportive

        Today they stop my services even though my account balance is there.

        Please intervene the matter and do the needful at earliest.

          Dear trai,
          I have learnt that trai have fixed a maximum cap of rupees 19 / channel whether it be sd / hd.
          But if a customer is choosing a single hd channel you have advised the broadcasters / distributors to count the number of channels selected as 2 sd channels.
          Hence we request the pricing for sd / hd to fair by pricing sd channels at rupees 9.5 / channel & hd channels at rupees 19 / channel (Rupees 9.5 *2 = 2sd channel charges)
          If you all prime channels across india they are charging 19 rupees for mostly watched sd channels be it sun tv or star tv or zee tv.

            I am from mangalore, karnataka. Due to recent introduction of new regulations for dth/cable tv operators we are facing hardships. As per your regulations we have to pay rs.130+gst for viewing 100 channels out of which 25 dd channels are compulsory. But it is not clear rest of the channels are as per customers selection or should be free channels (Fta). Here at mangalore all the cable operators are dumping 100 channels are fta and are giving no choice for us to select paid channels within these 75 channels. Hence we have to pay additional ncf for opting pay channels that is varies from rs.20/- to rs.60/= which will be an additional burden for the viewers. More over the broadcasters have fixed higher rates for their channels where viewership is more. (Rs.19/- +gst) which was earler not so resulted in inflated monthly payments.
            Hence i suggest for highly paid channel advertisement should be barred or the price should brought down within rs.10/- to 12/-+gst. Also broadcaster have brought earlier fta channels in the purview of pay channels by charging 5 paisa to rs.2/- which is gross injustice made to the customer. Because of this the number of channels will increase resulting in payment of higher ncf which is additional burden.

            Hence my request is issue suitable instructions to the broadcasters/dth/ cable operators to allow the viewers who can select the pay channels within mandatory 100 channels which helps to reduce the monthly bill.

            Please publish the guidelines on all news papers and natiional tv/private channels and take strict action with high penalties as soon as possible

              I did it my GTPL broadband connection plan renew online on date 26-feb 2019, but now still my broadband is deactivated . i am call GTPL customer care but he is not right answer me and when i contact GTPL office ( who is my area. ) he says to me " why are you buying plan online this is your matter not our matter "
              please help me start my GTPL broadband connection.

                I have 3 (Vc) dishtv connections. Parent connection :[protected]

                The billing and account balance algorithm of dishtv is very unfair. Instead of deducting balance on the basis o[censored]sage of the selected package they deduct balance on the selection or change of a package along with daily usage deduction.

                I will need more characters to explain.

Sir on 21/2/2019 i have recharge of rs.249 you have activate my pack on 23/2/2019 and you have send confirmation via telephone from your office. Sir now today cable operator disconnected my pack so we are unable to see the channel. Sir cable operator behaviour is very scarry. He denied to activate my pack. I am hopeless now.                   I am Pradip Sil, customer of Siti cable under of v k vision. They are giving FTA channel pack one is Bengali 50 channels & Hindi 50 channels. But I choose 40 FTA channels separately(Hindi& Bengali) which I need. But they can not provide me. They pressurised me to take their FTA channel pack. Pls solve it

                    I have selected 14 hd channels and paid for that but few channels are active among them and rest is not activated by videocon d2h.

                    I have contacted their customer care then they told me there is some issues with their system so they did not do anything. Every-time they make excuses.

                    I am attaching the screen shots of my selected channels list, please resolve my issue as soon as posible.

                      I have paid rs 498 scv hindi 2 pack. Most of the month half the channel in the list message says expired. I have contacted your local representative he passes the buck to scv.in the end i have lost my 498 without proper viewing experience.

                      Please refund the amount or extend and provide all channels as given in list.

                        Multi tv dth connection of tatasky taken on 14/02/2019. At that time primary channel value was rs.239.34 & multi tv charge was rs.200. I change my primary package & value of primary package reduced to rs.236.60 and for that multi tv charge should be rs.200 but tatasky started charging rs.250 without any information, cheated the consumer. Needs help

                          We can not view our channels since last two week. Our cable service provider is not responding and the consumer service care helpline is always busy. I have complained about this to consumer affairs portal and the id number is 1178747. The new tariff of trai seem to be very confusing we need proper guidance for it.

                            I am videocon d2h customer since 2011. Currently i have total 3 tv attached with customer id :[protected]. As per trai guideline, i have changed my plan in first week of feb 2019. Now currently, only primary tv is active, rest 2 tv deactivated without any intention since[protected] morning. I am continuously connecting with you customer care in last 7-8 days for requesting to active these 2 tv along with same plan. But each time they have noted complaints, but not a single action has been taken by them. All time they are saying that issues has been escalated to technical department. Now i am very frustrated. After 8 days issues is still same.

                              Sir, maine july 2018 me dis tv ka family hd add on pack 1 year k liye tha jisme dis tv ki taraf se 2 months extra diye the mere pack ki expiry date 1 sep 2019 thi. Abhi 24 feb ko main sports ka 1 channel liya tha customer care pr bat k but 1 hi channel aaya baki sb channel chale gye. Uske bad thodi bad sb channel aa gye but mere pack ki expiry date 30 april 2019 ho gyi jo pahle 1 sep 2019 thi aur ab mere pack me koi bhi channel add or delete nhi ho rahe h mera pack bahut costly pad raha h. Maine bahut bar dis tv customer care pr call ki aur unke senior executives se bhi bat ki but koi suitable reply nhi mila. Please solve my problem as soon as possible.                                   Since i am required to pay to view the pay channels, i prefer them to be with out ads.
                                  Already the channels are generating revenue from the ads. Hence they should air all the channels for free to the customers.

                                  As we have to cater the choices of everyone at home this new trend of selecting the channels has increased my bill by rupees 300/month which is an additional burden for me

                                    Previously i use to pay inr280 including gst for 22 channels which consist of all kannada, telugu, hindi, english, sports, infotainment and kids channel. After trai new rule i'm paying inr 280 excluding gst and i'm not getting telugu, sports channels. I am end up paying more than inr 400. How can you make 100 channels free with rs.153 those channels are waste channels and may be 5 to 10% of channels only be viewed. Remove free bucket concept and better role back the non sense order. It should be customer friendly, but you guys made more complicated, worst

                                        I am a senior Citizen living in Chennai. I regularly view only few Tamil, news & sports TV channels. Till about 2 years ago, I was paying only Rs.100/- per month as subscription charges to the local TV operator. Once the set-top system was made compulsory, I had to shell out Rs.225/- pm. Now with the introduction of the new Tariff system by TRAI, the monthly bill will go up by another Rs. 50 or so. Though the intention of TRAI seems to be to reduce the cost to the TV consumers like me, in reality we are made to pay much higher charges for the same set of Channels which we were viewing before. There are about 100 free-to-air channels in the TRAI package, of which barely 10 to 15 channels only are viewed by us and the balance are not at all required for us. For this we are paying Rs.130 + GST as NCF, which is very high. Over and above this, we have to pay minimum Rs. 100/- + GST for the pay-channels eqaerequired by us. This is very unfair and burdens lower & middle income families. I request TRAI to reconsider the proposed Tariff and reduce either the NCF and GST rates so as to bring the TV viewing a less costly affair for millions of viewers like us.
