Airtel dth is using a very cheap policy of employing their monopoly and causing trouble to us. They have changed my dth plan and are forcing me to watch channels which i don't want to see, without my consent and without any prior notification (Customer id: [protected]). This is done even with the fact that the deadline by trai has been extended till 31st march'19 to choose the own packages. Shame on airtel dth - which treat their customers like this and don't care about them. Airtel forced this change on 15th feb'19 without any prior notification and without my consent.

I request my dth plan to be switched back to the previous version as i still have time till 31st march'19 to make these changes.

    My name is narendra kumar patle. I purchased two sets of independent tv {dth}.in advertise of independent tv said by them that all channels including hd are free for 1 year but suddenly many chanels not seen on my tv it will get error message you are not subscribed.
    Kindly take strong action against independent tv as this is complete case of 420 that make people fool.

      I'm videocon d2h customer (Id[protected] since 2012 but now i'm planning to change my service provider because d2h is unlawfully, against guidelines of trai, not allowing it's customers to select channels as per their choice. I've been trying since first week of february but although d2h website is showing option of selection of channels but process is never getting completed. It always shows 'we will get back to u soon'but they never call or email me. Repeated calls to customer care is of no use as they are intentionally not attending calls or not resolving by giving vague answers.
      D2h is only allowing customers to recharge as per old plans. Strict action should be taken against d2h & trai should punish them by cancelling their licence for duping their customers & not following trai new regulations.
      Now i'm advising all my relatives, friends & colleagues to change their service provider from videocon d2h to other option & planning to start a campaign in media against them & expose them publicly.

      No response & no action taken by Videocon d2h till date. TRAI is sitting like a mute spectator . Pathetic, shameful & utterly disgusting. In India consumers are the most helpless!!!

        Hello sir, I am chiranjeevi. i am using videocon d2h since last 8 years.
        date of incident :25/02/2019

        This is regarding complaint against videocon d2h where without informing me they activated channels which i wont watch at all.When i called them their way of answering is in such a way that what we should do, we will not refund your money back.i asked them this is your mistake you have to refund me but the response was very bad.i asked please connect to your supervisor executive said no one is there and finally when i forced him he connected to supervisor.when i said i am going to complain about this to TRAI and consumer complaints forum, the executive said please go ahead.they kept me on hold for 50 min and still the issue is not resolved.

          I (cust ID[protected] had changed my plan at the end of january based on the new trai guidelines and the recharge amount was 402.38. I had recharged my account on 3rd feb with 400 and my projected recharge date was somewhere around 5th March when I had checked my account
          details (around 10th Feb). Thereafter I have not made any changes to my
          pack yet I see that now my recharge due date is 22nd Feb although the
          package cost still shows the same at 402.38 as shown in the screenshot. Also now I am not able to watch anything since the recharge due date has passed.

          I have called multiple times and registered multiple complaints (Complaint
          Nos.[protected],[protected] and yet nobody seems to be interested in
          resolving this issue or worse, they are incompetent in resolving this. I must have called at least 15 times over the last 10 days but they either don't answer or keep on long holds or worse keep promising that the issue will be resolved within 24 hours, but it has been a week and nobody has resolved it. I have even emailed the nodal office to no avail...even the nodal office number doesn't go through.

            Respected Sir,
            Customer account number[protected]. I have been a regular customer of Videocon d2h from last 3 years. I have 3 connections. I feel I have been cheated to the core. Videocon has been increasing my tariff without prior notice. I have been very regular in my recharge.

            After new TRAI regulations I have tried multiple times to choose the channels, but I have not got the channels I want. I have given multiple complaints through phone, email and LSO written to the nodal officer. Everytime I raise a complaint, I get a message that it is resolved, but it is not resolved. I have been cheated throughly.
            Could you please resolve this issue. Could you please tell me how to complaint to the consumer forum. Hope atleast now I will get some relief

              I just want to let you know sir that asianet is not following the recommendation from trai, but forcing their own packs on us. I am forced to take the packages as they decide, still i dont have the freedom to choose my channels. I just opted for star movie pack (Rs 39), plus surya (Rs 12), colors (Rs 19), and one disney cartoon channel (Rs 8)... So by just selecting one small pack and 3 additional channels... They say my monthly bill is 290 rs. Now you say sir... What freedom do we have... Just 10 channels that i truly opted.. And my bill for it is close to 300 rs... Where as almost 100 channels i had for 250 rs... This is truly unfair... Its my request you come with a solution to it and have some real control over these providers.. Otherwise its not working out the way you wanted it be...

                We were happy with previous cable operator fees as now the cost has increased.in ads they have only mentioned the prices but here we come to know about other charges too like gst on foundation pack, gst on pack that we select, monthly maintenance fee which is 59. Due to which cost reaches peak.

                Calculation as per new system,
                Foundation pack - rs 154 (130 + 18% gst)
                Maintenance charge - rs 59.
                Total = 231 this is fix (Useless)

                Before this we used to pay rs 350 for all the channels and it was up-to us which we want to see and now rs 231 only for foundation pack as in total with maintenance charge and if we want other channel then other channels charges too. It is just like you are fooling us as it is not in favor of public but against public.
                If i even try to take selected channels then too cost goes to rs 400 and more which doesn't make any sense and channel rates are kept such a way that even we want that channel that doesn't fits our channel budget. If you people are getting so much complaints from people then why don't you apply the previous one.
                Even in this cable operator is dominating us as he has already made a pack and insist people to take the same and if anyone tries to opt for other then he becomes rude this is what you people wanted?. You yourself look at the fee structure and try to figure out the same. There is lot more to say but wanted action on this.

                    Greetings, TRAI! I am facing several issues w/ VD2H... would appreciate if you could help resolve them... (1)their customer care is not responding - i needed help with my account; they said they will call back and it has not happened after 2 reminders; most of the time their systems are "down" so they want me to call back (2)i have 3 connections with them... they still have not set up a proper system / support to help me change my plans as per new regulations (3)they are still charging me the old fee (4)we had put in the change request and our specific requirements before Dec 31st, and yet we are not getting all the channels... please guide me on how to go about this... thank you!

                      I have been frustrated with the service of ACT TV since I had selected the packaged based TRAI and even paid for it before 7th Feb 2019 and none of them which j have paid for has been activated . I reached out to customer care where the call wait time is more than 30 mins and the customer care representative just raise the service ticket but none of them get resolved. Although not resolved I get an automated msg that my ticket is resolved. I personally went to local contractor of ACT and asked his help. They first are not open on the work time and promised to activate it when met but never resolved. After this I went to the Bangalore north office near Atria college sanjaynagar to get my problem resolved but still no hope . They said they are sorry for the inconvenience since there system is taking time and most probably the issue may be resolved within a week. I also pointed out that my UPi payment which I made for the package which I selected did not give me the confirmation message from Act and so I made the second payment through my credit card. For this also they said they are going to to check and resolve it. It is now 25th of Feb 2019 and still the channels are not active and the double payment is not corrected. Please help to raise a complaint on this .
                      My customer account with Act is 10416696. For further investigation I would be happy to share the emails exchanged and the tickets raised.

                        I raised relocation request to airtel customer care dated on[protected] but till then they didn't take any appropriate action to resolve it and there representative continuously calling and said we are coming at that time and then didn't come. I raised request for the same whose whose reference No. is 86197260 and even though my airtel dth is not working they are deducting the amount for my airtel account. If they are not giving there service to the customer then why they charge for the same even then the issue is pending from there end. Kindly do take serious action for the same.

I have a scv set off box connection thro thirunagar satelite vision, no.5, vandikaran st., visalakshmi nagar, chennai.32. Land line no.[protected] in the name of my son-in-law, mr. K. Ramachndran-sub. Id. Kn2780. Presently the above co. Is not located in the above address though receipt bears this address.in the second week of feb. 19, bill collector came to me and asked me to select channels and pay for it. I told her that i prefer to have only free channels and addition, if any, i need i will select later. I also told her that my tv shows very often "smat card failure" and i asked her to set it right first. She told me that she send a technician and set it right but none turned up. The collector also did not turn up to collect charges for free channels till date. From 1600 hrs to-day (25.2.19) i am not getting any channel. I am aged 80 and my efforts to get them on phone had failed. It is unfair on the part of this company to stop telecast to my tv when i am willing to pay for free channels only. Kindly register this complaint and direct the company to collect money and restore my tv connection forthwith.

                            I am having DEN cable network starting of this month feb. 2019 when all customer has to pay according to the channels i have already submitted the form for the prescribed channels starting of this month but till date my selected channels are not activated and i was charged more by the operator, after continious followup from local Tv operator and DEN customer care regarding this no one is attending this. Today when i call my local operator he is saying all channels are activated on my account if you want visit to us he is not ready to check on my end and refuse to come saying he will come tomorrow, For this all we are paying them the money. DEN customer care says to contact local cable operator.
                            Is govt. never say receive service for which we are paying.
                            want to taken serious action against DEN cable network and the local operator regarding not giving there service for which they demand and we are paying in advance. Even though after paying 1 yr amount in advance we are treated or given there best service like this by DEN cable network.
                            Also the list of channels rate are mismatched as shown during channel selection. I this DEN network are looting the customer or there operators.

                                Very high radiation recorded on southwestern side of the building. Meter reading shows very hazardous warning, very concerning to all persons. Understand there is a tower close to our building on harrington road that has to be removed. This tower is in a low rise house building. Pls have it relocated at the earliest.

We have already have frc of 495/-each, alled these no. Are ported from postpaid to preaped in january. After that frc done noumber, s started & withen 10 day all these no. Are droped. Now company is not ready to statrt these no. Not giving refund of frc amount

                                    Sir/ madam, my cable operator rather all cable operators from mumbai is doing compulsion on consumers to select channels. My operator gave me list of 100 fta channels and asked us to add your choice channels (Paid or bouquet) above that. Trai has clearly mentioned that consumer can select any channels fta, paid or bouquet channels in 1st 100. Our operator is not giving this freedom to consumers. He is increasing our no. Of channels to get additional nfc charge. Because of this our monthly package is exceeding 450/- which should have been around 350/-.

                                        Asianet gives 3 options to register, i wanted to go for 2nd option, but cleverly they stuck us doing it and force us to choose their choices of 1 only, the 3ed option, its impossible to trace the agent

When the new TRAI regulations came in to force, I was forced to select a baquet offered by the service provider instead of selecting channels of my choice. After one month when I tried to change to the selection of preferred channels, I could not login to do that. Whenever I tried to login, it was turned down with the remark ' unable to login try later. This has been going on for the past few days.. Is there any way I can watch the channels of my choice in the near future?
