We selected the pack of 25 channels on 19.2.2019 as per trai new regulations. After the selection process on channels on mobile app, there was system generated message shown that we wil contact you shortly bur there was no call from videocon d2h service provider. As our services are discintinued on 21.2.2019 we made recharge of exisisting plan of "platinum hd" on 22.2.19 of rs.1052/-. But after the restoration of service we found that marathi channels are not included in that plan. From friday morning to saturday morning, we made at least 45-50 calls @ the same but no successful action was taken by d2h service provider. Again on our saturday morning complaint call, the tereoperator told us that marathi channels are included in this new "platinum hd" plan n we have to select ythe marathi channels/ make activation process. We again repeated the process of marathi channel selection n submitted the plan/channels list, again the system generated message shown that we wil contact you shortly bur there was no call from videocon d2h service provider. On sunday morning complaint call, the tele operator told us that your recharge balance is sufficient hence additional recharge is not required n marathi channels will be telecasted soon. But till now not a single marathi channel is not telecasted. No reply from by d2h service provider although a lots of complaints made by us.

    My cable operator named PREETI CABLE SERVICES PVT. LTD. has lesser the quantity of channels since last apprx. 15 days although my payment has been paid upto march.

    I had tried lots of time on contact number given for customer care on trai website, but can't succeed to connect.

    Kindly request to solve the matter as soon as possible.

      Sir.. I recently recharged 800/rs - for 84 days telugu south pack..in the middle of my validity some important channels are banned and asking me to "subscribe the channel"

      I don't understand this situation,, sun direct suddenly banned some channels middle of my validity...

      1) i paid 800/-rs for what??
      2) do i need to pay again now which is i have 1 and half month validity still??
      3) if i call to sun direct customer care.. They keep saying "this is trai new rules"

          I am a resident of hyderabad. We have a hathway subscription at home. On sunday, 24th feb 2019, during the t20i cricket match between india and australia, our service provider disconnected the dd sports channel which is a free to air channel. The channel was running for the first 20 minutes of match but suddenly went off air and was blocked for the whole duration of the match.

            I am a subscriber of asianet cable tv. I have selected the packages in the asianet website, but i am not getting the channels that i have selected. When queried about it in the asianet office, they told that i have added more number of alacarte channels and hence the system is getting hang. And they instructed me to delete the currently selected channels and add new channel bouquets to the package. But when i did that i am getting a message that the package has been locked and i can't edit it. When i contacted the customer care, they told that there is no hang and they had reset the set top box, and they told me to keep the set top box on for 20 minutes, i did that but still there is no chennels available. I have paid rs.325 for the selected package of channel and also activated it, but after one week of activation, i haven't got any of my channels. Please look into getting me the selected channels or else refund the money. I will go for some other operator. Anyway if i lose my rs.325 for the month, i am going to change my cable tv operator.
            Kindly look into the problem.

            the issue has been resolved and the channels are available now. I would like to close my complaint in this regard. I contacted the higher authorities from Thiruvananthapuram, and they took interest in solving the issue. I thank you for your valuable time.

And they instructed me to delete the selected channels and add new channel bouquets to the package. But when i did that i was getting a message that the package has been locked and i can't edit it. When i contacted the customer care, they told that there is no hang and they had reset the set top box, and they told me to keep the set top box on for 20 minutes, i did that but still there was no chennels available. I have paid rs.325 for the selected package of channel and also activated it, but after one week of activation, i haven't got any of my channels. So I contacted the head office in Trivandrum and they did delete some of the channels and added an extra bouquet of channel- "Kerala FTA-2 ", then I did get all the channels in my TV. but later I noticed that there was an additional bill of 196.56 in my account. when I queried about that in the customer care, they told me that the people in Trivandrum had selected many network slabs and each slab costed 23.60. the next day I went to the asianet office in my city, and when I went there, this 196.56 had become 448 rupees. when I asked about that in the office, they told that the price of 448 included the charge of February (from 1-2-2019 to[protected], since I selected the package on[protected]. Then I told them that I cant pay 447 and to lower the number of channels in my package. and they did that, reducing the amount to be paid from 448 to 217.

            now the current situation is that iam getting only two bouquets and one single pay channel. there is only Sony six, star malayalam value pack and sun Kerala basic pack in my package. That is 46.02+23.60+17.70=87.32 rupees. And I am paying 325+217=542 rupees. Which means I am paying an extra amount of 455rupees.

            now I have got a message to pay rs.217, and I wont pay that amount till you people give me a clear and convincing explanation on what has happened with me.

            Please look into getting me the selected channels or else refund the money which I had paid, ie.rs325. I will go for some other service provider. Anyway if i lose my rs.542 for the month, i am going to change my cable tv operator.
            Kindly look into solving my problem.

            There is no action being taken on this issue even after registering a complaint. now, I have received a message to submit 467rs. the asianet have selected packages of their own choice and they are telling me to pay for that.

              From last 1 month, i am unable to see my channels which i had paid.
              I had called your guy but he said he cant do any thing wait for some times.
              I had decided to go online and chose channel from online and activate the same as per trai guidlines.
              But from last many days your online website is not working and i am getting msg as attached screen shot.

              I had complaint to customer care and also to management of den satellite, but these company are doing only business india not service, we need to banned or levied hefty fine on them.

              Shame on this company... Dont buy this company service.

                I have a post paid connection for my number [protected] from vodafone company.
                I was in holiday trip for the period 28/12/2018 to 07/01/2019 in nepal.
                I went over there with one day activation of international roaming plan for rs 599/-for 28/12/2018 as i was in a need of incoming and outgoing calls on 28/12/2018 i was able to receive or do calls on 28/12/2018 in international roaming.
                After activation of one day plan i came to notice that rs 147 inter-national roaming plan is auto activated in my number.
                Due to activation of rs 147 plan i received few calls on 29/12/2018 till noon but after it my phone didn’t worked over there.
                But due to somehow my work was going affected in india and my clients were regularly calling me but were unable to reach me, i tried to activate rs2999 plan for 7 days from there, but it shows activated but didn't worked over there and were charged in my bill when i came back, i complained to vodafone call centre but they didn't resolved my issue after which i told them to check my outgoing and incoming calls after activation of plan but they told me that it is not necessary that you can receive or do calls daily to anybody.

                    Dish tv acknowledged that my choice of channels is registered with them; but it is still charging me at the old prices.
                    When I did not respond to their SMS declaring today as the switch off date, they stopped services to me, thus forcing me to recharge at old prices.
                    Please order Dish TV to provide me the channels I selected and change me only for those channels, effective 1st February 2019.
                    Also please ask them to furnish me my account statement for the months of January and February ( till date)

                      Ie masti channel dangal channel sangeet bhojpuri channel news24 e24, sony wah is in pack in sony happy india pack but they not provide after contacting customer care, they also take rs 47 for its own channel evergreen classics violating the trai rule as rate of any channel not exceeding rs 19 etc

                        Tv cable service disrupted without any information. We bought a package of one year and service has been stopped since a week back my service should has stopped in june. I’ve even filled out the online form chose individual packages but my services haven’t started yet. I’ve made several calls to the center, main office and even the cable technicians no one seems to answer their calls.
                        I hope you look into this matter soon.

                          The new tariff policy of trai is not as good as advertising by trai. By this policy trai is trying to betraying consumers and work for channels provider.
                          At present i am paying 200 rupees only and there is no limitation of channels (Pay less for more channels) but if i will go with trai new tariff policy i will have to pay approximately 400 rupees it's means i will pay more for less channels.
                          Is policy se aise lagta hai jaise trai public ke jabe per daka daal raha hai public ke liya nahi companies ke hit mein kaam ker raha hai.

                          Yes. This is absolutely true. People who can afford, will pay a 200 bucks extra and they wont much bother. But most of our public who watch TV is middle and lower middle class public. And you guys are hitting on their only entertainment option and looting them to keep the corporates happy.

                          The new rules providing good options for users of what to watch.. I appreciate. But, why the Network access fee of Rs 150??? If you want to really make this help the consumers, then make it Rs. 50 (bare minimum) and DONT give a single channel for free. The FTA channels that you provide in Rs.150 are worth nothing and noone will watch them.

                            Hi i'm using home cable network. As due to new trai subscription rule i have bought channel's as per my requirements from my cable operator. Cable operator said all selected channel's will be get activated in next 2 days. But today i notice that he did not activated my selected channel's for which i paid also he charged more cost for selected channel's where i can see that the prices of those channel's are less.

                            As u can see in to the attached picture for channels such as.

                            Star sports hindi price is 1rs where it is charged rs 19 + they have not even activated this channel even after charging high cost.

                            Same goes to other channels charged high cost zoom, zee anmol cinema, ask tak, zee news, zee hindustan, pogo.

                            Amount charged but not activated - rishtey cineplex and national geographic.

                            Kindly assist me on this complaint.

                                About 10 days before some of the channels are suddenly dropped from the list by the service provider (Tatasky) claiming that users have to choose the package either through aforesaid website or mobile app. I am trying to open the website and also the mobile app for the same but could not do it successfully due to poor server connection /website or mobile app. I am able to watch the favorite channels however the balance is deducting everyday. I have also tried to find the solution from the tatasky customer care persons but they could not help me. They are saying you have to choose the channels through website or mobile app. Pleas resolve the issue.

                                  Why the cable operators didn't give dd sports on the time of live cricket match between india and australia on 24/02/2018 at 7 pm. At the time the dd sports channel is off. Why this???.

                                    We tried subscribing to the channels of our choice, or rather the channels which we are viewing; however our d2h provider is not allowing us to do so.
                                    The total cost of the channels of our choice reflecting on trais website is rs394/ per month, however it is adding upto rs 605/ on our d2h providers website.
                                    Videocon d2h is still selling their own package of channels,

                                    Hence i am unable to understand the tagline of trai's ad "pay for what you watch". Why this false propaganda misleading consumers???

                                    Further videocon d2h customer care no is perennially defunct, hence you can't even reach them for your grievances or clarifications.

                                      I have airtel dth connection from long time with customer id no. [protected]. Yesterday i called to airtel dth customer care to update my dth plan. Customer care executive said to me that my current plan of 219 rs/month has been changed to 254rs/month with same no. Of channels & he reactivating my plan of 254rs/month. When i checked my tv no any channel show there because plan not activated by customer care executive. Then i tried to call customer care no. Many times but no any response by customer care executives.
                                      Today again i called to customer care & asked to activate my previous plan than he said to me that 254rs/month plan not available in airtel dth & he told that he transferring my call to seniors but call disconnected by him. Than i tried again to call customer care but call auto disconnected many times. After sometime call connected to customer care executive & he told to me that 254rs/month plan will be activated after some time, but he activated 360rs/month costly plan without any information given to me & i received a message from airtel dth that 360rs/month pack activated on my dth.
                                      This is the totally cheating case by airtel dth customer care executives & very very poor services provided by airtel dth. I'll lodging a complaint against airtel dth to trai & consumer forum regarding this cheating case by airtel dth.

                                        As i have rechaged 153 rupees, all free to air channel is coming, but dd sports not coming as dd sports is a free to air. As i asked to cable operator for this, he told trai has sent him a letter dd sports will not avilable at time india cricket match. I want to know is it a trai guideline not telecast dd sports at time of india match in one day and t20?
                                        Please suggest.
